Frozen♥Heart (Ember89 & BlackRoseWitch)

Sven nodded his head and continued to eat one of his carrots as Kristoff smiled, upon hearing Anna giggle a little bit and smile. Kristoff nodded his head in agreement and opened the door for Anna, which was not like him since he nearly fails at being a proper and formal gentlemen. Yet again, he wasn't a noble but an ice harvester.

Anna walked inside and headed to the ballroom. "Elsa can we please talk?" She asked looking at her older sister. She was able to stay calm thanks to Kristoff being with her. She just wished Elsa would talk to her.

"...If you wish."

Elsa mumbled a little bit, gazing at the ground as she made a slight distance between the two. Kristoff rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly, upon receiving a few more stares from the stuck up nobles. Most of them were females, who weren't use to such a person like Kristoff. Which were the lower folk, such as commoners. Yet again, he was the one who brought Sven in.

"I wish you wouldn't shut me or the world out of your life. Why do you do that? We are sisters and you can talk to me. Also why do you wear those gloves all of the time?" Anna said quietly, not wanting to make a scene.

"...You don't understand, Anna. You can't understand why. If you knew, however, you would understand."

Elsa whispered as she clutched her gloved hands, still looking down at them with a forced emotionless face as she continued.

"We may be sisters, but we are both different than just looks and personality... Likes and dislikes... Its far more different than you can picture. These? ...I guess you can say I'm cold a lot, both of the inside and outside."

She glanced up slowly, looking around for the blonde Allan. She needed some kind of distraction, enough to change the subject as she looked back down at the clean ballroom floor.

"Why can't I understand? If I knew I'd try to help you. We were close once and we can be like that again." Anna said, quietly. This time she wasn't backing down. "What did I ever do to you? Why shut me out?" She asked. Anna sighed. She wondered why her own sister would shut her out.

Queen Elsa bit her bottom lip more as she stared down at the floor, avoiding her little sister's eye contact. She slowly shook her head and took a small step back from the two, Kristoff decided not to interrupt the two sisters.

"Anna...You won't understand, not like before..."

The last part was mumbled as she took, yet again, another step back while continuing.

"Y-you didn't do anything, Anna. Please..."

"Elsa...please. I can help you." Anna said walking towards her sister, slowly. She reached out to take her hand.

"No you can't just help me... You just can't."

Elsa said quietly as her emotionless expression cracked slightly, revealing panic and fear. She took a deep breath, trying to stay perfectly calm, as she quickly spun around and started to walk away.

"That is final, Anna... I'm sorry."

Kristoff glanced over his shoulder, spotting the Duck speaking to a few other guests... But also trying to listen in.

Anna sighed. "I'm sorry Elsa." She said as she went to grab her sisters hand but only managed to get her glove.

Elsa, upon realizing that her right glove was missing, stopped walking and slowly turned towards her sister as Kristoff continued to watch the old Duke carefully. He didn't like him one bit, not because he danced like a monkey though. She couldn't think at all, her mind was refusing to work properly. As many emotional thoughts started to surface in her mind, she attempted to force back the growing emotion and fear. Along with the thoughts. The older sister, Elsa, knew that this day was going to be bad. However, she wasn't expecting it to take a sudden twist like this so quickly. This was starting to drag Elsa down, who was weakly trying to fight back through all of this. She had to conceal as well as not feel, but not let it go so easily.

"Anna..."

"Elsa. I'm so sorry but what are you afraid of? You hardly talk to me anymore. Today was the first day in years." Anna sighed fighting back tears. And the day wasn't going as well as she thought.

"My..."

Elsa glanced down at her glove, which was with Anna now, as she hesitated greatly.

"If people see the real me, Anna... It would be a disaster, you should know. But, of course, you don't know anymore. They won't accept me, despite the fact that I'm their new Queen now. I will hurt them... And I don't want to hurt them, just like how I don't want to hurt you. Not again... They, not even you, can see my true nature due to that. So, I have to hide my true self because..."

She explained as she tried taking a few deep breaths, thinking about something else, and pushing back her emotions that were seeping out of her mouth in the form of pained words. It wasn't working, this was too much for her as she didn't bother to finish her sentence due to the slowly growing fear. . .

"You don't want to hurt me? Then why shut me out, Elsa? Your my sister and I accept you because I love you. And I know you would never hurt me." Anna said as her voice shook slightly. Sadness was the only thing visible along with longing and love.

"Look, Anna... I have to shut you out, everyone, and the entire world. You see? You won't understood, you don't understand now clearly! Only Mother and Father knew, you used to know... But not anymore at all!"

Elsa barely realized what she herself was doing, her voice raising up slightly as she stared at her little sister. Kristoff placed a large and firm hand on Anna's shoulder, a clear gesture to back down a little bit or something of the sorts.

"Anna... You don't know. I did hurt you physically, I nearly..."

She slowly looked down as Kristoff, suddenly, felt a chill run up his back but he remained silent. The guests were already whispering about the two sisters, as well as the sudden mention of the dead and former King and Queen. Elsa looked very stressed and emotionally hurt, not to mention pained as well.

"I'm sorry. I never meant to upset you." Anna said. Her voice trembled slightly as she backed away.

"W-wait, please, Anna! Please don't go... I need to tell you something!"

Without thinking, due to hearing her little sister, Elsa had reached out for her with her bare right hand as Kristoff was about to quickly follow after Anna. . .

Intill ice-like spikes appeared as Elsa reached out for Anna, nearly everyone had either gasped in surprise or almost fainted. Or just literally started screaming loudly and freaking out due to the ice practically as Elsa stood there with wide eyes.

"N-no, no, no... This c-can't be happening at all---"

"Sorcery!"

"Our Queen is a m-m... MONSTER!!!"

"No! A monster disguised itself as our Queen... Maybe IT caused the death of our Queen and King!?"

Elsa could only recognize the first voice, which belonged to the Duke. As for the other female two, they were most likely other guests. Kristoff was standing there silently and stiff, upon standing near the sharp ice. He wasn't saying such things like the rest, but he was still trying to recover from all of this. Elsa found herself hearing awful insults and scared comments, which only grew worse. She was already panicking as the whole ballroom started to feel cold as ice was soon all over the floor in the matter of seconds and so on. She was backing away from the crowd, clearly breaking down emotionally.

"W-wait...!"

Elsa looked around quickly, everyone nearly had different expressions and none of them were pleasant, as she felt tears threatening to form in her blue eyes. She didn't see nor hear Allan, so she knew he left the ballroom for his own personal reason. Speaking of leaving, Kristoff finally started to run out of the ballroom to get Anna. Luckily, since the floor was covered in ice, Kristoff had great boots on that were good for ice. He was a Ice Harvester, after all.

"Anna! Quick, its your sister!!!"

"Oh my gosh is she okay?" Anna asked as she walked into the ballroom and saw ice. "Elsa! She cried as she hurried to her sister. "She isn't a monster! She's the Queen and my sister! Leave her alone!" Anna said. She wasn't afraid of Elsa. She was afraid for her.

Kristoff followed the brown haired Princess, Anna, back into the cold ballroom. As soon as Elsa saw Anna, she started to walk away quickly towards the large doors. A mixture of relief, mainly to see her sister coming back in, and fear for harming her sister again washed over here. Elsa had to leave now, she needed to escape. Suddenly the large windows started to shatter by the frost cover it, a cold gust of wind invaded the ballroom. Glass shards were scattered across the frozen floor, there was snow dancing in the wild wind. It was almost like a blizzard outside. . .

But in reality, sadly, the land was starting to get cursed unknowingly by the emotional scared and upset Elsa.

It was the curse of an eternal winter.

"I'm sorry..."

Was all Elsa whispered as she quickly ran out of the ballroom as she passed an unexpected Sven, dashing down the hallways and towards the palace's exit as she left behind an icy trail. Sven was still eating a little bit, despite being concerned and very confused. In the ballroom, Kristoff didn't bother to calm the freaked out crowd. He quickly looked around, not bothered by the cold yet, as he spoke in a worry tone of voice. It was clear ALMOST no one wasn't expecting this to happen. . .

"Anna, what should we do?! The ballroom is cover in glass shards and ice, the people might get hurt. And Elsa... What about her? Should we go after her or...?"

"Well we could start by handing out cloaks. But I'm going after Elsa. It's my fault this happened. So I'm the one who has to go after her." Anna said.

"That, Princess Anna, is already being taken care of by a few guards... I suggest that your friend here, judging by his appearance and the reindeer, comes with you. Maybe he has a sleigh of some sorts? I believe you will need it, if you look outside. But... May I come with you two for personal reasons?"

Allan Blaze Ravenclaw asked and explained in a quiet voice as he slowly walked into the room, not surprised whats so ever with the ice or any of this. It was strange, but also very suspicious. Kristoff raised a brow at the blonde haired male, trying to lighten the sudden heavy mood.

"I know this isn't a perfect time to say this, but... That reindeer has a name and his name is Sven. Second, why does someone think that I have a sleigh just because I have a reindeer? However... You are lucky that I do have a sleigh, its near the outskirts of the Kingdom in an old barn."

Elsa was already far out of the Kingdom, blindly heading towards the now snowy mountains. She sniffed a little bit as the wind calmed down, the snow was starting to fall softly. She couldn't calm down, but suddenly she realized something as the thought invaded her mind. . .

Everyone knew of her powers, which she tried to keep a secret for a long time. . .

But now, despite being alone, Elsa was perfectly free.

She was alone, which didn't help, but she was free.

Elsa was
free from stress and fear!

"The snow glows white on the mountain tonight

Not a footprint to be seen

A kingdom of isolation,

And it looks like I’m the Queen.

The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside

Couldn’t keep it in, heaven knows I tried

Don’t let them in, don’t let them see

Be the good girl you always have to be

Conceal, don’t feel, don’t let them know

Well, now they know..."

She started to sing in a soft, but powerful and strong, voice as she made her way up the mountain more as she quickly took her other glove off as well as her long purple cloak. There was a mixture of happiness, since she didn't have to worry about the stress nor fear anymore that her curse forced her to have. However, there was also a tiny bit of sadness since she remember Anna as well as the harsh things the people said. . .

As well as Allan, which only confused her deeply.

Quickly, her happiness started to freeze but remained there coldly as she stood near a gap. The gap blocked off another part of the mountain, she soon thought of a bridge. Taking a small step closer to the cliff, a bridge made out of snow started to appear. She took another step now on the bridge, it quickly shimmered and turned to solid ice.

Unknowing to Elsa, Hans and one of his brothers were in the shop with the strange shopkeeper with the accent. Hans only watched as his older brother, who was a year older, argue with the shopkeeper.

"Mark... We are late for the Crowning because of you. I'm leaving, you know the way to the Kingdom. And please, brother, try not to get thrown out of here again."

Hans sighed as he walked out of the shop. . .

Only to find that everything was covered in snow, he decided not to question this. He soon noticed footprints in the snow, as well as a formal cloak and glove in the snow. Out of curiosity, he started to follow the footprints as he wrapped the cloak around himself due the cold.

"And this man has a name. It's Kristoff. But I have no problem with you coming along." Anna said. "Let's go get Sven and your sleigh." She told Kristoff. It looked cold outside so she grabbed a clock and some mittens and left with the men.

"Pffft... I completely forgot about that."

Kristoff joked a little as Allan chuckled quietly, already wearing his cloak. If someone would look closely, he had a necklace with a strangely enchanting blue stone and... Also a slightly expensive sword, which was actually hand-made, and a beautiful red sheath around his belt. He was a knight, after all. Well, a Royal Knight to be more exact. However, the only person who knew Allan's real identity was Elsa. To others, he was a mere servant to a noble and was often paid very nicely to dress and buy stuff properly.

"Its only fair since I know your secret, Elsa... So, you shall know my secret as well. But, don't worry, I have many more secrets up my sleeve... Of course, everyone knows your secret now."

Allan thought that since he knew better not to say that out loud as he glanced around, following Kristoff out of the ballroom. He was already suspicious to most of the nobles, mainly the old Duke. The carrot lover, Kristoff, petted Sven as he picked up the bag of carrots and followed the trail of ice outside. Allan, naturally, continued to follow the other male...

And reindeer.

Anna was suprised at how cold it was outside but it didn't bother her. She walked and stayed close to Sven and Kristoff as they walked. This was all her fault. She shouldn't have talked to Elsa and now Elsa was gone and there was snow all over Arendelle. She stayed quiet the whole time she walked.

Sven nuzzled his head at Anna, trying to cheer her up by being a cute and adorable reindeer that he always is. Kristoff glanced around as he noticed a few of the people, the ones who live in the kingdom, were trying to figure out what had happened. However, most of them were making sure to stay warm as the try to get the snow out of the streets. They didn't want their home to be covered in snow completely. He soon noticed that Allan didn't leave behind footprints on the snow, the snow that his boot touched was... gone?

"Hey, erm..."

"Allan, my name is Allan. What is it?"

Allan asked as he ran a gloved hand through his shoulder-length blonde hair slowly, not having a cloak hood. Kristoff was going to ask what was up with what he saw. However, as he glanced down, he soon noticed the the snow was covering up the empty spot and it was completely normal again. He watched Allan walk, the snow didn't melt or vanish like before. So, Kristoff only shook his head and went silent. . .

They soon reached the outskirts of the snowing kingdom, near the old barn.
