Tiiraaz
Tiiraaz watched Hermione's tail blissfully as it waved back and forth his mind drifted wondering why she was different from other humans but the thoughts about her left his mind the moment she walked over to introduce herself to the others so many humans where there Tiiraaz looked at the nearby ruins for a second before a thought hit him Tiiraaz was reminded of his homeland and the varying ruins that lived in the desert. While a commotion was going on around the humans Tiiraaz showed little to no thought about it as he didn't know the severity of it instead he strolled the perimeter of the small area the group was housed in, like a lion circling its prey Tiiraaz looked around and something was wrong something that he didn't notice until now because he was so distracted, he is no longer in his homeworld.

"Faas Dinok..." The phrase was said with a hint of fear as Tiiraaz mumbled it, a small tear rolled down his mask like a boulder rolling down a hill, what would happen to Tiiraaz if he died? Normally the Vartija would die than be reincarnated in their homeland but as it is now he is not on the same earth this death could be the last for Tiiraaz not that he actually has any memories from his past life but still the thought would scare any creature. With that, another thought quickly entered his mind normally Vartija are fine not seeing any other of their race but they still feel lonely and the need to socialize with one another when they feel that need the Vartija can send out a homing signal that can cover a great distance and without fail there would always be at least one response. No matter how hard Tiiraaz tried he could no longer use the signal he was the only one here in this world there are no Vartija at least not right now this caused Tiiraaz to look at the group of humans as they all communicate with one another even when they still had one another they could still all communicate Tiiraaz was completely alone in spirit.

Tiiraaz wished to communicate this with the humans but they were busy either introducing themselves or helping the one on the ground he could not talk to one of them instead he elected to slowly walk over to the satyr and sat behind her earlier he noticed that when the woman appeared to be stressed she drank from a certain pouch Tiiraaz wondering if it could help wanted to ask her for it so he poked her shoulder trying to grab her attention.

Rory was still rather out of it, since so much had happened so fast. He still had to wrap his head around the fact that everyone he had ever known was dead or gone. He couldn't fully comprehend it. So in his mind, he started small.
His least favorite bartender was dead.
His favorite bartender was dead.
Everyone in the bar was dead.
Everyone in the city was dea- no, no, that's too big.
Everyone Rory had ever slept with was dead.
Everyone he had ever flirted with was dead.
Everyone who had ever rejected him was dead
That one got to the half-orc, causing him to sit down on the forest floor. The gravity of the situation was slowly crushing him with the sudden realization that he was quite possibly the last of his race in the entirety of Deifiore.

These fellows... They were quite rowdy, weren't they? It seems as if nobody had noticed him at all. Doesn't matter, though- better him not be involved in these weird activities they're taking place in. And, admittedly, he had spoken a bit on the soft side. So, leaving them to their own devices, he took to collecting dryer tree branches and some dead leaves- as it seemed that some of these fruits growing around were ones he was familiar with. They were poisonous to most races in the raw as they currently are, but when heated up, they could be a good enough meal. Not terrible-tasting, and nutritious, sounds perfect for someone lost in the woods.
After about five minutes or so, he came back with a bundle of branches and kindling and set them down a few feet from everyone else, his front towards them. Looking up at them, they still seemed to be absorbed in their own little individual meetings... Not that it's an issue. Carefully, as he'd done countless times on trips in the past, he patted out a nice spot of bare dirt for the fire, and arranged the branches with the kindling in the middle and on the outsides to catch the fire. Finally, once all was said and done, he laid his sleeping bag on the ground and pulled out a large, red-patterned pot (he stored everything in that sleeping bag at the foot of it), took a look inside- still sparking, meaning it had saved the fire he'd stored in it last night- faced it outwards while on his feet, and BOOM.
The pot blew with a huge, echoing blast, shaking the trees around them- loud like a gunshot. The shot from it had actually launched Chantie back into a tree behind himself from the sheer pressure it had built up. But, he simply brushed himself off, made his way back to the front of the now-happy campfire he had made. He reached into his bag, pulled out one of the fruits he had picked a minute ago, skewered it to the end of the stick, and held it above the fire calmly. Chantie didn't look up to see who had been watching him after the insanely loud bang, but just in case anyone was listening to him at this point, he spoke-
"If we're all out here unexpectedly, we'll need something to eat. These fruits growing around us are poisonous to most fellows, but cooking them releases whatever might make someone sick. Apologies for the blast, but the payoff of it was worth the racket, was it not?"

Hermione was still quite quiet as she lied sideways on the slope, watching everything unfold. Some people seemed unsettled, understandably. While Hermione also felt the same way about her sudden change of circumstances, she wasn't exactly... sad about it.

Hermione could not help but be bitter as she looked back on the world before this happened. She didn't have anybody that she had ever cared about because frankly, nobody gave her much thought themselves. Her "adopted" parents never truly wanted her (and hell, even tried to kill her!) growing up, the other children in the elf community would laugh at and mock her and the adults would curse her. She never knew her birth parents so just assumed that she was the product of a drunken fling and was a mistake they didn't want to deal with. Any other person she came across would treat her with similar contempt. She didn't even really have much of a home, drifting from place to place and conning folks out of their money since that was all she could do. She seemed to hold a presence that just instantly made her hated by anyone she met. So... frankly, she couldn't care less that everyone she had ever encountered was potentionally dead. Looks like she finally came on top about something.

Hermione was in her thoughts until she felt a soft poke on her shoulder, turning to see the Vartija sitting behind her. She tilted her head slightly and narrowed her eyes to focus in on him better. At this point she really was feeling the effects of the wine and her posture and glazed eyes gave that away.
"What?" She asked, her voice more slurred at this point. She was surprised that he wanted to be this close to her, especially given the unpleasant odour that hung around her, which made her question whether or not Vertaji had noses or not. The others clearly did. Scratching her dishevelled head, she noticed his gaze was towards the wineskin in her hand. She looked between him and the pouch several times. "Uh... I dunno how this affects you guys but..." she shrugged and went to hand the pouch to him. Granted Hermione never liked sharing anything she had but... she was pretty wasted at this point so her generosity was on the rise.

Just after handing the Vertija the wineskin, the saytr was alarmed by a loud BOOM which shook the area. Puzzled, she looked at her stomach and out a hand on it. What did she eat earlier?

"...I'm... forty percent -hic- percent sure that wasn't me." She said outloud before picking at her horse-like hooves, trying to get rid of a stone that was stuck. She looked at the culprit of the noise as he was now cooking away at a fire. While Hermy was not one for food, her stomach was another matter as it started grumbling. Seemed being full of just wine was not agreeing with it.

"Well you just -hic- attracted every monster in a ten mile ra-radius but... least we'll die fed right?" She shrugged at the stranger cooking. Whether that was a joke or not even Hermione could not tell. She was handling this situation as well as any other; getting drunk and hoping it passes.

Clair Desdero
Clair remained unconscious for quite some time, enough time apparently for her to be saved from her position as well as mystically healed to the point she needn't worry about any bleeding. The brunette woman was now in a safe and stable condition and as her consciousness began to return she was lulled into a comfortable sleep by a resonating warmth deep within herself. It was as though this warmth was slowly reaching out to her entire body it was as though it was seeking out her injuries like a hound dog does a rabbit. It was intense yet somehow comforting.

And Clair could feel all of this despite verging on the edge of a dream. A dream, it had been so long since Clair had had a dream. As time progressed Clair became visibly more and more at peace and colour began to return to her features. It was evident whatever had been done was working.

Belphor
The white creature in the dress broke everyone’s separate conversations, to establish a goal for the night. Bel knew he was right, they needed to eat. Though how in the world could he tell what these plants were in this world? Bel didn’t pay much attention to plants or herbs so he wouldn’t know if a fruits properties were the same in both worlds. Bel looked up from his sister for the first time in a good minute, draping his now blood stained white coat over her. He looked to the dark haired woman who did not speak, but helped his sister and the drunk Satyr. The muted woman seemed tired, and Bel offered a small squeeze to her shoulder and a smile.
“Thank you both for the help. I agree though, we should collect some more of the fruit around here.” Bel stood up, and starting looking for fruit to gather.

Though, the Satyr was right.
And in the darkening thick of the forests, the noise of the explosion travelled. A nest of nocturnal beasts stirred in their briar ridden holes, at the sound of what could be their next meal.

(Known as the Crawlers to those native to this land, these beasts stand around 5 feet tall, but move quickly and erratically in packs. They scout at night, and their charcoal flesh not only helps keep them camouflaged in the dark, but also excretes a a toxin, feeling burning hot and sticky to the touch. Their eyes, however, do not see clear objects, only light, and are sensitive to brighter lights. Crawlers mostly consume large mammals such as Deer, horses, satyr, humans, and dwarves.)

There were too many people. To many for this to be a coincidence. And to be honest, it's was a tad overwhelming. So, after the next few people had arrived and introduced themselves or whatever, Amarië had slowly been getting further away from group. Not too far, because she wasn't stupid, but far enough she could clear her head. She was going to explore the surrounding area, see what She could spot or if there was anything of interest.

And so far, nothing. Nothing but trees and stones. She couldn't even find signs of any small animals, no doubt thanks to that explosion or whatever it was. But those fruits didn't seem to be in short supply. Picking one up, She squeezed it a bit, and it popped. "Ew," The woman muttered, as She dropped the over ripe fruit, before her attention turned to the rustling. Something was off, something that made Amarië grip her weapon and turn back towards the group.

Kuu got scared easily.

Most people would feel shame over such a fact. Fear made people cowardly, after all, and cowardice was no admirable trait. But where others would scowl in disapproval at fear, Kuu accepted the emotion with all his heart. After all, Deifiore was a dangerous place with many different things to kill you. Giant snakes roaming the deserts, hungry murder-doggos lurking in the forest...there were too many vicious monsters out there to list! In the end, Kuu called anyone with a healthy overdose of fear smart.

This accepting nature towards fear made Kuu reluctant to sheath his blade in the face of that thing called a 'Vertija.' He was especially terrified when the creature grabbed an acorn, shoveled it into his maw, and showed its remains with a toothy grin. Terrifying! Was it gonna eat them all when nobody was watching?! Kuu subtly glared at the cloaked figure as it floated around. The ghostly thing may want a bite out of Kuu's tasty hiney, but it was rather out of luck. It was obviously less stealthy than Kuu, and there was no way he wouldn't hear if the monster started chewing people alive at night. The Lalafell decided to sleep in the center of the group just in case though.

Kuu's second dose of fear came all too soon, however, as Bel suddenly went limp the floor. Then, a nearby tree suddenly came to life! Kuu was shocked. Trees obviously weren't supposed to move like that! Knowing this, Kuu deduced that this tree was in fact a monster that came to eat everyone. He trembled in fear for a moment, but just in case, he looked around at everyone else to see...absolutely zero swords out. This calmed his nerves somewhat, as the tree must have just been another strange guest. There were now alot of strange guests in their circle, and Kuu recognized a few of the species this time around.

Kuu turned back to the tree to watch it deposit a young girl. Then, the tree reverted to its previous state and Bel got up like nothing happened. To the tiny man's relief, the blonde wasn't instantly killed by some unknown dangerous beast. Kuu sighed at the thought that he wasn't about to die a horrible death in a different world. It would be quite the bad way to go, unfit for a warrior as great and strong as Qiku Enkidu!

However, his final taste of fear was yet to come. All of a sudden, Kuu heard a huge BOOM nearby. The sound earned a loud yelp from Kuu, and he jumped 6 feet in the air. His instincts caused him to hide behind Rory's legs, as the half-orc seemed like the biggest and strongest guy around. If something awful was approaching, Kuu wasn't about to be the first one eaten! He scanned the distant forest expecting a dangerous-looking monster. But all he found was a relatively normal looking guy and some new faces. He pouted viciously at the source of the noise. This group made far more sound than he liked, and he would definitely be sleeping in the middle of the group tonight.

Tiiraaz
Tiiraaz looked over the old wineskin wondering what it contained before he could see what was inside a loud booming noise send him into a high alert mode he panicked dropping the wineskin and froze for a second not moving at all Tiiraaz went over in his head attempting to figure out what was going on a slit opened in his mask revealing the sharp white teeth as he let out a low pitched growl attempting to scare off any potential predators this was the only defence Tiiraaz had learned over the years which was to make himself look big and scary but it rarely ever worked on monsters it worked amazingly well on humans though letting out the growl he turned looking for the source of the boom when he found out what it was the growling stopped it was replaced silence as he moved closer to Hermione putting his back to hers. Tiiraaz didn't know or have the ability to defend himself he would now have to rely on others for survival Tiiraaz picked back up the wineskin handing it back to Hermione not even attempting to drink from it his mask kept expanding his large teeth showing themselves more he started to dig into the dirt with his hands while making sure he was close to her for safety.

After a few more seconds his fear subsided causing his mask to slowly grow back to normal Tiiraaz wanted the power to protect himself but had no way to obtain it pulling his knees close to his chest Tiiraaz started to draw in the dirt with his finger he draws a mask very similar to his own Tiiraaz longingly rubbed his hand down the cheek of the mask before leaning backwards kinda draping himself on Hermione like someone throwing a jacket on the couch he lay there looking up into the sky reaching a hand up into the sky before looking towards Hermione with a tear rolling down his mask he made a noise that sounds like a beacon loneliness took him again he lowered his hand back down and decided to change into something different to harden himself Tiiraaz said goodbye to himself as he vowed to change who he was.
Everyone Everyone

Hermione Puckette
Hermione, swaying a little from the wine’s effect, watched as everyone reacted to the loud boom. Seemed everyone was pretty on their toes right now given their circumstances. Once things seemed to calm down a little, she turned back to Tiiraaz as he suddenly seemed unhappy as he draped himself across her back like a blanket. She blinked a few times.

Hm… I take it your kind don’t have noses.” she grunted, not able to stop herself from swaying. The fact he was flopping over her like a rug, clearly unfazed by her smell basically answered her question. His sudden depressive mood made her looked at him, her large and velvet-like ears flopping down. While she herself did not care about the world changing as they knew it, she was not made of stone. She turned to look at him.

Hmm… Yeah... who knows what -hic- happened. But…” she looked at him, “...Least there’s a group of us.” she looked at them all, as they were sitting away from them a little, “Who knows. There could be more Vertijas. More than there are Saytrs I bet.” she snorted a little. While she really did not want to care about that potential, of never seeing another Saytr. It was a thought Hermione never liked thinking about.

She went to continue talking to him but paused as her ears erected. She frowned and looked into the woods. “...Wait -hic- what…” she stood up, taking an arrow from her quiver and readying her bow. Seemed being raised by some pompous elves at least did something right. Her tail was carried up high as she watched what was going on. But just as she watched, she thought she saw something moving through the trees. It was barely moving, almost as if it were... staring at them. Hermione frowned. How long had it been there? What was it planning? On impulse, she released the arrow, sending it flying through the woods, a choice she typically would not have taken if she was sober. A few seconds later, she heard a loud shriek and the sound of something tearing towards the opening, where the group stood.

...Oh no.

The sound of trees and leaves rustling grew louder, and it became quickly apparent that this was no longer due to wind and small animals. Long black legs became visible even in the dying light, but what really stood out were the eerie, near slightless red eyes that seemed to glow through the branches and vines. The beasts seemed to move by dancing left to right, yet moving fast. A horrid clicking sound could be heard, like that large insects, from their teeth.
Without hesitation, they invaded the clearing which the group resides and attacked. Birds and small animals evacuated with hast, and though some of the group seemed prepared, the beasts which overtook their green space seemed to have no recognition of weapons.

Belphor
The blonde man dropped the fruit he was collecting and went rigid, feeling the presences of the beasts a moment before they arrived. His first instinct was to find Kuu and the unconscious Clair, maneuvering in front of the two. He unsheathed his sword and blocked a crawler as it charged them, the liquid coating its skin dripping onto Bel as he was pushed back by the creatures force. He flinched backwards as the liquid burned him, though the mark that it left was only a small red raised welt.
“Try not to touch them!” Bel called out, hoping nobody had to understand what he meant. It looked like there were about 7 or 8 of these creatures. They were not native to Deifiore as far as Bel was aware, so he was unsure of a weakness. Though, it seemed when on hind legs, the crawler had a soft area unprotected by its armor or exoskeleton.
Since The man could not fight with his sword without risking more contact, he had no choice but to find a place to hide and to animate a golem, or to put up a barrier. Bel chose the former, running a few yards back to gain a bit of distance, and promptly dropped dead against a column from the ruins. As he did so, the stone from the ruins collected together to form a slightly larger stone humanoid, lifting the limp Bel on its shoulder and moving forward once again to fight.

It seemed everyone was listening at this point... But that didn't really matter. What did matter was that most of them were now getting some fruits- with the exception of a few others who still seemingly hadn't noticed, and the saytr being a smartass. He didn't mind though- he didn't know any of them, they didn't know him, everyone was just now meeting each other. As Chantie continued to roast his fruit, some more intrusive noises came through the woodwork, and it sure wasn't the crackling of the fire in front of him- instead, it was a quick swarm of approaching huge, black, ooze-covered creatures... That he'd never seen before. Panicked, as he had thought his years of travel would've led him to be at least somewhat familiar with most creatures, he anxiously fumbled through his sleeping bag while stumbling backwards, and held it outwards, sucking the fire back into the depths of the container. These horrid, disgusting creatures, from what he had seen with the man that had came into contact with one, had a deadly touch to them- some sort of external poison coating? As he was trying to process his attackers, his hope lowered- were they all about to die there and then? He gulped and closed his eyes, not wanting to see any more of these beasts before they would kill him- but a new pounding followed this. Not his heart pounding, nor the splattering pounding of the beasts' footsteps, but that of stone onto the ground. Swerving his head towards the source, he found a towering stone golem- and it seemed to be ready to fight alongside them. Wherever it had come from, or how it was even possible to have been built from these stone columns, he didn't know, but something about it filled him with confidence, knowing it was ready to help the group. He unsheathed his defensive sabre, and brandished his shield boomerang, removing it from his pack, and got in a fighting stance.
