you can be good.
Hello all! I'm LostInYou (or Lo), and I'm looking for some partners! I have been absent from the site for quite a while, but I'm ready to jump back into things and see if I can get some stories started with all of you lovely people! Below I'll list some guidelines, along with the plots and pairings I have available! Please keep in mind that I'm willing to tweak any of my plots! They're always a work in progress!
Plots! Here are some of the ones I have!
Now, onto pairings!
I think that is it for right now! Thanks!
1. For romance, I only do MxF. However, I'd always be happy to do a platonic role play!
2. Length-wise: I always try to match my partner's length. I can give short snippets or numerous paragraphs. Just whatever my partner wants!
3. I like to talk OOC. If you don't, that is okay...but it is nice to make friends!
4. I want us both to enjoy this. If you have any suggestions or anything please do not hesitate to tell me.
5. I can play either gender.
6. I prefer to double, in all honesty. But it isn't a requirement!
7. I can role play in PMs or threads, though at the moment I'm leaning towards threads.
8. This isn't a requirement, but if you respond I would really like to know something about you! It can anything! (Favorite song, animal, season, movie, etc)
That's all done! Yay!

Muse A had always been a kid with an overactive imagination. Therefore, it was no surprise when Muse B was created to reflect all the beautiful, crazy things Muse A could think of. For many years, Muse B was the only one that could keep up with Muse A’s creativity…mostly because Muse B was pretty much the embodiment of it. Muse B went along with Muse A for years, always there, though never seen by anyone other than Muse A. That went well for a while. Muse A was satisfied with the company, but as time went on Muse A began to rely on other things. They had to focus on school and studies and the idea of what they would do for the rest of their life. By the time graduation came along, Muse B was pretty much just a passive observer to Muse A, although they never left and refused to do so. One day Muse A would need them. And one day was enough of a promise to make the wait worthwhile.
(I’m really thinking this could be an interesting tale of how Muse A could work to get a job somewhere and the everyday work and all just bogs them down and nearly destroys their creativity. So Muse B could be becoming weaker and weaker as Muse A’s imagination is destroyed and all…I’m not sure. I just think this would be an interesting little thing to work with! Maybe Muse B could eventually become real so they can save Muse A from themselves? Maybe Muse B could help Muse A find their true passion in the world?)
Muse A and Muse B have been around one another since they were able to walk. In grade school they had been relatively familiar faces in the crowd. At least, they were friendly. Muse A could always rely on Muse B to share their animal crackers with them, while Muse B could always count on Muse A to bring an extra juice box for them to have. They got along amicably for the several years that passed, but not all good things go on forever. When middle school and the awkwardness of growing up welcomed them into a new world, the two grew apart and eventually found themselves in two very different cliques.
It all started as friendly teasing. It all started as a small shove and a light snicker. A joke. Something that could be brushed off. Muse B wasn’t overly aggressive at first. Sometimes it all just seemed like a lot of fun. Like Muse A was just in on some joke with Muse B. It kinda felt like old times, when they were kids. And then it wasn’t.
Because Muse A only ever looked at Muse B when they were having their lunch money stolen. They only ever looked at Muse B with fear.
And for Muse B that was better than not being looked at at all.
Muse A, the heir to the Kingdom of Ranyth, goes into hiding at the age of fourteen because of internal (a revolt among the people) and external (the threat of war) conflicts. The host family that was meant to take care of them turns out to be traitors, and Muse A barely escapes. Eventually they come across Muse B, a typical commoner willing to do whatever it takes to survive the harshness of the world they live in. Muse B agrees to take Muse A safely to the castle if Muse A can promise a hefty reward in return. With that, Muse A and Muse B begin a journey to make it back to the castle, all the while enduring the danger along the way.
Muse A and Muse B happen to be rivals. At…just about everything. They are typically pretty neck and neck when it comes to athletics, grades, popularity….But everything changes when Muse A is told that Muse B might beat them in their graduating class rank. Muse A is desperate not to lose, for several reasons, and finds some blackmail material to use against Muse B. After presenting the evidence to Muse B anonymously and forcing them to slack behind on their grades, Muse B begins to struggle, all the while trying to uncover the mystery of who it is causing all of this.
(I feel like my partner and I can discuss exactly what this blackmail material is.)
Muse A and Muse B hate one another. Unfortunately, Muse A and B have been placed into an arranged marriage by their families, with the threat of losing their inheritance if they do not go through with it. Muse A accepts the deal because they want a secure future, but Muse B decides they would rather be broke and free than rich and miserable. Muse A, however, cannot get their inheritance if Muse B does not accept the deal. So, Muse A works endlessly to agree Muse B to accept the terms of the agreement, even if it means that they’ll be eternally bound to one another forever. The way Muse A sees it, pretending is easy. And it should be easy to full the press into thinking the two have had a drastic change of heart.
Now, smile for the camera darling.
Muse A and Muse B were once in a relationship way back in high school. They broke up because of several issues between the two of them (which we together can discuss). Muse A swears up and down they will never be in a relationship again, while Muse B is desperate to find their one true love to spend the rest of their lives with. The two of them meet again at a singles event (Muse A reluctantly went because their parents keep badgering them about grandchildren and Muse B went to find their soulmate), which is a masquerade ball of sorts. The two of them end up talking and dancing some throughout the night, only to realize who it is at the very end when they take off their masks.
(I’m thinking this one could be interesting depending on where you’d like to take it! ^^)
Muse A and Muse B have been long-term pen pals since the end of middle school. Unbeknownst to either one of them, they are also residents of the same town and go to the same school. Muse A, however, one day sees Muse B in the post office delivering a letter….and then later notices it is the same letter Muse B was holding at the post office. Muse A and B have never been in the same friend groups at the school, but Muse A is astonished to find that the Muse B in the letters does not even seem to resemble the Muse B in person. Muse A then works hard to figure out who the Muse B really is, even going so far as to start asking things through their letters and eventually requesting that the two of them video chat online or in person.
(I feel like they could use ‘Awkwardly Yours’ instead of ‘Sincerely’. It seemed cute when I first thought of it!)
