Getting Started​

In order to get into the game, you'll need to post a CS along with what items they will be starting with. Portraits are optional, but you'll need to write at least one paragraph as a description if you go without one! What I am mostly looking for in your character sheet is an interesting concept and an indication that you have read the lore and know what you're getting yourself into. IMPORTANT REMINDER! ALL MAGIC ITEMS HAVE LIMITED USES! If you are unclear about this please look at the bottom of the Lore page or ask me personally! Note, only two characters per person at a time! That said, here's the character sheet:

Personality: (Just a brief description of how your character behaves and carries themselves; don't put any backstory information as they won't have any backstory when they start. Your character is starting fresh!)

Items: (Okay this is the most important part, your character can start with a Weapon and a Survival Tool ((a shovel, hatchet, bucket, something they can use to survive)) or they can exchange one of those to start with a Magic Item instead ((as explained in depth in Lore!)) Either way, your character starts with only two items and the clothes on their back so consider what they may be starting with carefully! This will also be where you will keep track of your magic item's uses if you have one.)

Story: (Okay you don't actually need to fill this out when you start, consider this like a character journal for if you get approved! Just a place to keep track of important personal events, connections, and the like.)

Appearance: He is 5"6 with medium red hair, and bronzed skin. He is generally clean except when he needs to get serious, generally formal looking clothes: he wears a long sleeved red and black tunic with the left sleeve cut off, he has glasses with the right lens broken but can see okay out of that eye, basic trousers, and a prized bandana that he keeps around his neck most of the time

Personality: not trustworthy or one to trust others, (87% of the time), He just wants to find the secret of the dome and escape and/or destroy it, usually treats people like tools except when lives are on the line, will do mostly anything to achieve his goals.

Items: Wields a long spear he has dubbed Celine, and a small hatchet

Full Name: Jeremiah 'Monroe' Ashcroft

Age: 32

Gender: Cis Male

Appearance: Monroe is six foot four inches in height, and with a body that's broad and clearly used to heavy labor in the past, Monroe is intimidating in his physique alone. He has the kind of musculature that makes you think he could snap a lesser man in half. Aside from this, he always looks as if he hasn't slept in several days, and tends to have an intense, unnerving stare. Though generically handsome, he does not tend to strike others as trustworthy.

Personality: Monroe seems, at first, as a quiet, reserved, perhaps even half-shy sort. He acts friendly, enjoying getting close to others and understanding how those around him function. Of course, for him, this is purely in a 'using others' way; he may be curious about others, but his greatest passion is for destroying them, or better yet, having them destroy themselves. At present, he is not uncontrolled in what could anachronistically be called his psychosis, and is perfectly able to 'play nice' in the most manipulative way possible. Who knows how the struggle for survival shall affect his psyche though.

Items: Monroe possesses a set of flint for fire starting, as well as a very large axe.

Appearance

~~ stands at a little over 5 feet tall with caramel hair that goes down to her lower back and vibrant green eyes. Her stature is shockingly thin, and her skin almost sickly pale. She woke up with a hooded, dark green cloak over a tattered, light grey shirt and thin pants.

Personality

~~ is socially awkward, introverted, and paranoid; she likes to stick to the corner of rooms and watch over everyone else, taking mental notes. She doesn't remember why she's so paranoid, she just knows that she is. She rarely warms up to anyone and she's hard to get to know, but she also longs for someone that she can trust, someone who can have her back.

Items

~~ has 2 knives on her -- one that's a couple inches longer made with a malachite imbedded in the handle, perfectly balancing it and another, wider one with a serrated edge and a hook at the end. (See, knives are both weapons and survival tools. please don't kill me, Uber-chan)

Character Log

Day 1: Woke up at start point, got suspicious of everyone there because she had a headache and no one else did so she ran through to the chapel overlooking the lake in the desert, known as Terrorguard Chapel. There she met a cocky bird thing that told her to get the answers she wanted, there were 3 options - Pay the condescending bird jerk to break the chains and let her into the chapel, find some "lady in blue" in the desert, or go South to a lake and find some food that tells her answers. She decided to go find the blue lady, but first get herself situated where she knew there was water - the chapel overlooking the lake. Oh, and, the bird also named the girl Snippet.

Full Name: Hera August

Gender: Cis Female

Age: 40

Appearance: At six foot exactly, Hera strikes quite the impression. She carries herself with a marked degree of composure and formality, and muscle memory would indicate she was once involved in military endeavors.

Personality: Hera is a leader by nature, focused, practical, and strong-willed. She steers clear of being 'bossy' or needlessly showy though, and her assertive nature is well backed up by a quick intelligence and ability to listen to others and mediate groups of people. She values people and life highly, and though she can seem overly serious and often a little scary when challenged or under pressure, she is ultimately one of the kindest people you'll meet— not that there's all that much company in the dome.

Items: A five-use tin of ointment that's enchanted to dissuade or scare off animals that operate by scent— a kind of magical 'territory marker' that gives wildlife the impression that a dangerous animal has marked out the area; the scent lasts for about twelve hours. She also possesses a small blade well suited to skinning and/or gutting prey.

[Cazberry]

Theme:

Name: Charan Riker

Age: 21

Gender: Female

Appearance:

Charan is approximately 5'5" in height, about average. She has fairly pale skin, a feminine mesomorph figure, and an angular face with thin lips and a small, perky nose.

Personality: Primarily an adventurist, Charan likes moving forward and exploring. Combat is second on her list of likes, be it life-threatening or just a spar. Aside from those, she will generally be quite an open person in social situations. However her enjoyment for adventure and conflict will often prevent her from forming any lasting relationships - not something that she'd mind, though.

Her preferred style of combat is stealth/ambush. If she can't incapacitate an opponent in a single strike, Charan will often continue the fight instead of retreating.

Items:

A simple straight sword, about two and a half feet in length. The blade is two feet, the grip is six inches.
Her second item is a magical item; a ring, found around her right index finger. It is capable of turning her invisible for two replies (the reply were she activates it and my following reply), with three uses.

Name: Lothar Wolff

Age: 25

Gender: Male

Appearance:


A rather clean and well kept looking man. He is of a rather fit build. In fact, he looks like he takes part in some sort of physical labor or training rather often.


Personality: Lothar is a pretty friendly guy. He's generally a pretty smiley guy and joking around a lot. But when he's anxious or focused on something, then he's fixated on that one thing that is bothering him and he is no longer as social. He virtually stops speaking unless its needed to get something done. So, don't take it personally if he becomes cold all of sudden. He is just thinking about something really deeply. Something that's likely life or death.

[June Verles]

Name: Erik

Age: 42

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Erik isn't all that visually striking, without the obvious severe lack of hygiene, balding head and lack of a left arm. In terms of physical abilities, he isn't all that peculiar either, standing a bit over 6'4 with a skinny yet somewhat well-toned body.

Personality: His personality is completely opposite and at the same time a perfect representation of his appearance. He is a patient and thoughtful person yet also perpetually confused about everything that is happening. He also seems to have the opposite of ADHD, he focuses so attentively on one goal that he will most likely ignore everything else on purpose. In terms of social interactions, he seems to be a rather calm speaker somewhat contrasted by his rather unsavory vocabulary. A vocabulary he doesn't use with the intent to hurt anyone but to obviously better explain what he is experiencing.

Items: A short shovel with very sharp edges, allowing him to use it as a digging tool and for forestry. The second item he carries is 5 balls filled with a liquid. When the ball cracks on impact releasing the liquid on a target that is not conscient it makes him extremely appetizing in terms of food, usually resulting with the animal beginning to chase after him to feast upon him.

Spoiler: Old Man's Ramblings

Day one: I woke up on some random hill without any memories of anything that perceives to my history, I don't assume there is much due to my attire so maybe I shouldn't know. Anyways I decided to make my way to a river and after crossing tried to save a turkey bout to be eaten by some mutts. I did succeed but unfortunately, the mutt was already in critical condition and I was unable to help it. Therefore I will return after it's death to the mutts.

 

[Killigrew]

Name: Blanchefleur duGornemant

Age: 31
Gender: Of the female kind
Appearance: A matronly visage clothed in courtly grace needs be hid from commoners base. Tresses scarlet furrow against face, and brighter yet the lips them make. She'll not raise voice, nor rouse cheer, but quiet hush answers quiet speech.


Personality: Take care, speak not. A mouth's a fire, the lips its wall; careless pass it, speedy the fall. Let the eyes perceive, and then to your heart and mind consider, and only then permit the words to enter. For if you speak in err, take heed; your own self is weakest indeed. A single barb to your heart will sink and 'twill spread its root unto rot and sick. Until you've wept or 'til you've moaned, bitterness will be your home.

Items: A cooking pot, snap-net ([5 charges] a leather net for medium-sized game that leaps to enclose whatever stands within it at the snap of her fingers)

Name: Thalen Frostvein

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Appearance:
5'9", grey eyes,

(Just imagine the fire in his right hand; he'll hold his sword with his left)

Personality: Despite his young age, Thalen seems to bear a heavy burden. He is typically reserved and calm, and is remarkably stoic in combat or tense situations. Because of this, his ability to make any deep connection with others is difficult, and he often prefers to act alone or in silence. This doesn't mean he can't trust or be trusted, it just takes him a while. His last memory is darkness, and a deep, resounding voice ordering to him to "Kindle the flame that lies dormant,".

Items: Slim-bladed longsword, well crafted and perfectly balanced.
Glove of Dreadful Flame: An ordinary leather glove, save for granting it's wearer the ability to conjure flame. However, as the glove is used more and more, the wearer's hand underneath becomes malformed, turning gnarled and dark, as if a deep-set evil seeks to spread. There are only three uses, and it produces a potent flame, but the effects are less than desired..

Name: Rok

Age: 25

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Just under 6 foot tall, with dark hair and amber eyes. More on the slender side of physique, but surprisingly athletic.

Personality: Rok is one of those introverted extrovert types. Easily flourishes when around other people, but needs to be alone sometimes to think things through. Tries to put others before himself, but ultimately tends to do what's best for him. Easy to get a long with, but very sarcastic. Can fall asleep anywhere.

Items: Carries a short sword made of bone that slightly hooks out at the tip before rounding off to a near flat edge. His other item is an enchanted leather strap that is wrapped around his sword. The leather strap allows the sword's blade to double in length for 5 minutes. It has 4 charges.

  About 5’ 10”, and around 140 lbs, mostly muscle, so she’s fairly buff. She does have bracers, but they're made of wood and leather rather than metal or other scavenged sci-fi materials.

  Personality: Resourceful, reserved, a bit aloof, to-the-point. Also determined, but patient, generally. Amber is a good judge of almost anything except for people. That being said, she doesn't tend to trust them. Not just morally, either, but to pull their own weight; that's one of the number one reasons she tends to work solo. Regardless, this lack of faith motivates her to protect those that need it. Yes, she’s got your back. That person too, and also them over there. But that doesn't mean Amber isn't ready for anyone to turn on her at a moment’s notice. Though she might stack too much on her shoulders, trying to take care of people. Being a huntress, she is constantly hyper-aware, even when she doesn't need to be. She has quite a bit of difficulty relaxing.

  Skills: Good at what we’d today call parkour. She’s quite strong, but she’s not well-conditioned for close-quarters combat, surprisingly. Amber is better as a sniper, and being a huntress, hiding, waiting, maybe setting traps, her combination of patience and determination and being able to accurately assess situations is put to very good use.
  
  Items: A powerful hunting bow and a quiver of about fifteen arrows. A knife of versatile use, mostly for crafting or skinning/gutting animals. Only in emergencies is it for stabbing people.
