Ruler of the Sky
Noah Nakano
- A Frozen Graveyard
The nausea hit like a truck, with Noah's insides being flung all over the place as he traversed to the new dimension, though just as quickly as it hit, that nausea was swept away by the cruel icy winds of his new realm. Though he preferred coolness to warmth, he was after all just an ordinary human raised in a temperature-controlled environment. He couldn't help but miss the warm radiators and hot chocolates of his home land, tugging the fur of his long coat tighter around his neck at the thought.
His plain eyes wandered around carefully. It was just as both the data and the Madam described, a never-ending near-lifeless frozen taiga in all directions, as if spawning atop such a gigantic glacier was not enough of a tell to his situation. An abandoned campsite by the ground, a raging volcano to the south-east, a cloaked human running away and what seemed to be a large indent in the earth in the far north-west. There were surely many strange occurrences to investigate, which his fellow mote bearers had already set out exploring, yet he chose to stay safe and keep with the group wandering towards the civilizations directly west of their location. The Madam's warnings were still held in the back of his mind. To dig for info first, and not rush into things. Perhaps he was less brave and confident than his fellow bearers, but he chalked that up to the vast differences between them, after all, one was part giant robot, one was some goddess... he truly felt a bit out of place here, as just an ordinary human.
Mira, the brown-haired human of his group, seemed to have requested something of him and a few others earlier. To find a cure for the undead, or a solution to the King's barrier. Noah wasn't particularly against the idea of doing some research, but he wouldn't necessarily pursue her requests over his own interests either. Fortunately, since this was his first fractal, and he was still somewhat new to his abilities, he didn't have very clear ideas on what else he wanted to achieve yet. If he found out anything, he'd likely pass it on if she was within a close enough vicinity.
Regardless, to civilisation it was, accompanied by his own loyal creations no less. The Edge of Creation was a magical and wondrous place, his newfound abilities even more so. But, now was certainly not the time or place to delve into the why or what of those things. Surviving and gathering information first and foremost, was. - Actions
Movement Action: Travel westward towards the town with all his units, remaining within earshot of Klein, Mira & Reginald in case of mishap.
Order Action 1: If Noah deems the town safe enough, he will explore the town with his units, gathering information about their culture, state of living, knowledge, fears, etc. Noah will mainly observe and listen, with Ash by his side for protection, whilst Matilda and Claire are off gathering food from the town outskirts for the faction. In particular, Noah will observe the structures the town has, including its towers, utilizing his skills in Architecture to potentially learn something valuable or otherwise further his own knowledge on medieval structures.
Order Action 2: Noah will spend time researching the undead at a library or place of knowledge, or inquire these things from knowledgeable people (priests, mages, scholars, etc.). Primarily he will focus on things that could help ward them off or make them less of a threat, however he will focus more on magical/spiritual leads of research if possible. In the meanwhile, Matilda will research the local flora & fauna, Claire will temporarily help the town out with medical matters(like at a clinic or apothecary, not consuming Noah's unit of medical supplies) and Ash will acquaint himself with the guards/soldiers of the town, if possible.
Extra Stuff:
- 1x Cooking Supplies + 2x Human Wildborn(Foraging Order Action) = +1 Unit of Food

- Mote Mechanics
Recruitment: The corruption of the multiverse is a nasty thing, and it likes to subjugate everything else. But, while it is a little risky, you can partially remove the corruption from others.
- Noah's cleanliness can save others from joining the corruption hivemind or be under its thrall forever. Noah may cleanse those who were not corrupted before, and before the corruption overtakes 50% of them. Noah may enter a 3 distance roll challenge using his Acumen and the corrupted creature(s)' Essence as part of an Order Action. This action can target a total unit value of 2*Noah's Acumen. If Noah is successful, those he saves join him. Depending on how far corrupted the person is, there may be some benign corruption left behind. This usually happens around 35% corruption. The cleansed individuals will carry unique powers of corruption related to their point value, and they will be immune to corruption due to their massive immunity to it. The GM will notify what traits and abilities these individuals have when they are recruited. Though narration often has hints.
- Corruption cannot hide from Noah. It may be obscured, but he will know its there. Whenever you enter a location or the corruption comes near you, you see faint redish-blackish smoke around corruption units, structures, or other corrupted things. This spans in a radius of 2 miles. Incredibly strong corruption is showed with a crown over the smoke.
- Noah's crafted items that prevent corruption last one additional overworld turn, and craft items that slow corruption in a creature adds another die, increasing the slow even more. It may even prevent the corruption from moving forward at all. All structures that Noah's faction creates slow the spread of corruption in the cell they are in. With 10 total levels, the cell cannot be corrupted and is cleansed overtime. Noah's faction also has the option to build a Spire of Clean, max 1 in a cell, which will increase this radius by 1, per level of the structure.
- Noah possesses a "cleaning aura" that reduces the duration of environmental hazards created by artificial sources, (Flamethrowers, Psionics, magic.) to one combat round in a 30ft radius around him. Once per combat, Noah may also deliver a burst of soap suds, causing creatures of his choosing to enter a distance roll against his Acumen with their Strength. If Noah wins the roll, targeted creatures are Silenced meaning that they can only use general actions. All psionics and magic are disabled, and any actively maintained effects are immediately dispelled. The Silence lasts for 3 rounds.
- Humans come in many varieties. Noah and those like him are immune to confusion by magical and psionic means. They also bear increased resistance to corruption, one additional die to immunity for all corruption related diseases.
