In the mid 21st century a nanovirus was released causing technology to break apart. New planes would randomly fall out of the sky. If they get off the ground at all. Cars would turn off in the middle of traffic. Entire cities would loose power. It truly was chaos incarnate
The virus also effected people to some degree making them more violent. Some rumors said that they were transforming. Countrys were going to war using swords and bows of all things. It was estimated that most governments would fall by the end of the month
The United States fearing the worst sent multiple special forces units suplemented with private contractors and shadowy government officals forward a couple of years in time by quantum technology. Their goal was to rebuild western civilization.... It didn't work
The higher-ups miscalculated and the entire task force was scattered throughout time and space. The crew of the mercenary group Artemis Hunters were sent ten thousand years into the future. Instead of some science fiction landscape the world looked like something out of Dungeons and Dragons filled with orcs, Dragons, elves and other fantastical beings.
Now the Hunters must navigate through the Wild Lands previously known to them as Maryland and Virginia ten thousand years ago. Making Allies where they can and dealing violence when they have to. Relying on each other every step of the way.
