Ten Thousand Club
Odette glanced over at Oahu. He seemed to really be against escaping. She understood why but at the same time she really didn’t trust it. There was good chance it didn’t really matter what they said. Problem was that this was a murder charge which can be a hard situation to get out of.
Caius made a comment about how they couldn’t stay in that hiding spot she mentioned for ever. “I know that I just meant until things calmed down.” She had to admit it felt good to have that hood off. Odette was starting to feel little more relaxed now but she suddenly found Caius standing infront of her with tons of questions which was kind of funny but worried her slightly. The human that had came to her village was very curious about them. But Mable asked her questions and never did anything to harm her. Maybe it was ok to answer them. He mentioned the things that were odd about her except the flowers in her head. Maybe he thought they were just attached to her head. “Don’t forget the two flowers growing out of my head.” She said with a slight laugh. She then answered his questions. “Well uh I’m not sure how to answer that first two questions. But yeah I guess it takes more energy I never really thought about it. As for needing more sun and water then regular plants in a way I guess we do. But the flowers on our heads are tougher then then regular flowers so they are more durable. We do eat but we are...how you people call it....vegetarians. As for reproduction we pollinate we don’t do uh....what was is it called....I can’t remember the word for it. Its what you people do which honestly is very strange.” She said as she gave a look that said they were the strange ones.
Odette glanced at Nyrea when she asked her question. Problem was Odette didn’t really know. She never really had to go without it. She always kept her windows open in the cottage she lived in and when she would help out miss Mable the window in the back was always kept open. That and when she was living in her village people were mostly outside all the time anyway. “Oh!” Something suddenly came to mind. “I can go a whole night. And I’m ok during rainy days for obvious reasons.” Which she was totally missing out on....actually was it even still raining? She hoped that helped a little bit. She listened to what Nyrea said. “Well I did knock him out with a frying pan he would of been out for quite a while at least long enough for the guards to come and arrest him. I think we would of been fine.” When she mentioned they would come after the people that she’d cared about that seemed highly unlikely. Only one person really knew her she was pretty much unknown to anyone else. Plus she’s and old lady that’s lived here for years hell the guards probably even knew her. “I pretty sure I’m fine in that department.” She glanced back at Caius who was still infront of her.
