Forbidden But Not Forgotten

"Ready. And don't worrt, I won't... look while you do it."


He crouched on the ground and snuck around to the side of the van, waiting for her to... give them a reason to exit the van.

Raven rolled her eyes and pulled off her top, tucking it in her back pocket and running up to the van. "Help me please! Are you the police? I need to report a crime. I just woke up here without a shirt and- an- and I dont know what happend!" Raven cried, bursting into tears for a better effect.It worked just like a charm. The agent got out of the car and tried to decipher what happened.

Leo grinned and leapt into the driver seat, revving up the engine and speeding forward. He ran over the first one, the van popping up like hop suspension. The tires skidded loudly as he swerved the steering wheel hard to the right. The door opened.


"Get in!"

Smashing the agent in the face with her elbow she ran to the van and jumped in, pulling her top back over her head. "HIT THE GAS LEE!" She yelled, giggling in exhilaration and shock of what they had just done.

Leo grinned like a demon and slammed the pedal down, rocketing down the highway at 95 mph as he careened towards a hotel that was about 30 miles away.

"That." Raven said, still shaking from excitement. "Was awesome."


Raven climbed up to the passenger seat and sighed. "I have all of the money mom and dad had so we'll be good financially. After the shock wears off we'll probably be a panicking mess so lets deal everything out now."

"Lets just focus on getting to the hotel. We don't have much time before the SS realizes what happened. We'll leave this car in some ditch and rent a room."


They pulled into a random hotel.

"Alright, whatever you say boss." Raven sighed, pulling her hair out of the ponytail and fixing it to fall around her shoulders. She saw Leo looking at her questioningly out of the corner of her eye. "Im total baby face Lee, its no way id get past the door without them knowing im underage. But if I fix myself up a certain way...I look about 20 years old." Raven said, putting on dark red lipstick and nodding in the mirror. "See? I look older now. I also have our fake i'ds from that one time at the nightclub."

Leo chuckled. The nightclub. That had certainly been a different time than now. He looked over to her.


"Get a room booked, old lady. I'll get this car away from here and come back to the hotel.

Raven smirked and rolled her eyes, walking in to the hotel and up to the receptionist. "Hi, do you have a room for two?" She asked nicely. The receptionist frowned, looking at Raven apologetically. "Sorry, the only rooms we have available are rooms with one bed. All the rest are booked, you know how Comic-Con is." She said. Raven twisted her face thoughtfully, nodding at the receptionist-Amanda. "We'll take it, I dont think I can deal with being in that car for any longer." Raven said laughing freely. The Receptionist grinned and handed her the room key. "Great, your room is 129 on the second floor, the elevators are to your left. Can I see your I.D?"


Raven nodded pulling out her card and handing it to Amanda, silently praying that it would fool her. "Alright, the breakfast bar is on the right. Have a nice night!" She said cheerily. Internally sighing in relief, she waved at Amanda and went back outside to wait for Leo.

Leo parked the car about 2 miles away, in a godforsaken ditch that he doubted anybody would visit soon. He trekked the rest of the way back to the hotel to see Raven waiting for him outside. He nervously twiddled his thumbs. Leo couldn't help how he felt, regardless of the fact that they were so close for so long. He got back to the front.


"Did you get a room? I should hope so, considering I left the car to rust away."

"I did, buuuut youre not gonna be happy about it. Its one bed, all the others were booked." She said, turning around and heading into the hotel, holding the card up. "Good news is, I did get a room so I guess thats one thing."

Leo's heart beat like a jackrabbit's.


"I suppose it's better than nothing."


He pressed the floor button and walked with her to the outside of the room, motioning for her to swipe the card.

Swiping the card, Raven walked in and threw her leather jacket on the chair, collapsing on the bed and sighing in relief. "What are we gonna do." She whispered, shaking her head. Her parents were gone and now the freaking SS was after them. What the hell was she gonna pull out of her ass this time?

"For now, were safe. We used fake identification, and are nowhere near the car. Tommorow, we get the hell away grom here."


He lay down in the bed, stretching his arms.

Raven nodded and breathed in deeply. "You remembered to wear gloves or something right. You cant forget the prints." She mumbled, stretching, her back popping in five different places.

"Of course. We're Bonny and Clyde, not some two bit thieves."


He knew the mention of their childhood nickname would strike a nerve. They both knew how the tale ended.

Raven smiled a sad smile, and looked over to Leo. "I cant believe you remember that." She said. Suddenly Raven remembered something and pulled an object out of her back pocket. "Happy birthday." She handed him a switchblade with Leo carved on one side and Raven on the other. "And yes I realize its illegal, dont ask where I got it from."

"Thanks."


He blushed for a brief second as their hands connected.


"Think of all the government workers we can cut with this while you 'distract' them."

She chuckled at the memory and sighed. "You know I could single-handedly take out all of them with no difficulty right." She mumbled her eyes beginning to close. She threw her arm around him and hugged him tightly. "Love you." Raven whispered drifting off to sleep.

Leo blushed full on this time. He didn't move when she cuddled up to him. He wasn't going to have her wake up now. He lay awake, lost in thought until he fell asleep. When he woke up, she was asleep with 3/4 of her on top of him. He acted as if he was asleep.

It was dark.


"Lee! Leo! Where are you!"


You are drowning and no one can save you


"Where did you run off to?!"


Its not him you have lost, but yourself


"LEO?!"


No matter how loud you scream, he cant hear you


"Lee..."


Because no matter how hard you try. You cant hear him.


"Please..."


So caught up in yourself


"please-"


That you cant see him


"I need you..."


Or his love


"I love you."


For you.


Raven jolted out of the dream with a gasp and panted heavily, relaxing once she saw Leo sleeping peacefully underneath her.

Mark opened his eyes after knowing she was awake. He didn't move.


"Hey, Raven."

Raven jumped at the sound of his voice and then sighed chuckling. "You scared me." She said shaking her head to remove the last images of that dream out of her head. Looking at their awkward position Raven raised an eyebrow. "Ya know...You could have told me to move. I wouldnt have, make no mistake,but you could have."

 

[BadBillyPratt]

"I didn't want to wake you up. How did you get on top of me anyway? Have some fun with my unconscious body last night?"


He remained mostly still, his rib cage rising and falling as he breathing in and out nervously.
