Realistic or Modern ＦＩＲＥＦＬＩＥＳ { Detailed ; "Zombie" Apocalypse Rp }

The way I'm reading it... the children of Walking Dead and WWZ zombies... and it infects animals... and it's airborne... and it's REALLY numerous

It's Airborne, Waterborne and Vectorborne. Does that last one even make Scientific sense...God knows..


If the Fungus stumbles across a Dead Corpse, It won't make them arise but instead use it's Body as a breeding ground and house. It'll rapidly Spread like Mold on a fruit and form Tube like structures and Holes that emit Spores on a frequent basis. Eventually it'll just consume the body and become a massive Fungus on the floor or wall, Spreading over structures and emitting Spores. Those who are living and get infected however are capable of spreading it through Scratching you, Biting you ( Saliva) Or if someone is in the starting Stages by Sneezing on you. They aren't Zombies per say at first because they'll be living, However the Fungus eventually kills them by eroding the brain to a devastating result, eventually gaining absolute control of the Host's body.


To the further Chagrin of the living, It impedes Survival rates by also infecting Food & Water. Though the upside to this is that these have to be in close Proximity to a Dead corpse / Radical Fungus to get contaminated. Oh and water Can only get infected by the spores emitted from the Lone Fungus or Corpse inhabiting one, So If a Zombie walks through a river casually it won't be contaminated. So ya know if you decide to camp out in the forest with a river, It's unlikely to be Contaminated...Well unless you be and Idiot and kill something next to it of course. The only true way of killing the Fungus is Fire...Because Fire solves everything of course...


Also if I catch anyone trying to be smart and fleeing to the Hollywood mountains or something, Just know that Cougars exist.
