The Prince stands at a lengthy 6'3, and weighs a moderate 189 pounds. His hair is jet black, and combed in a very simple manner. His fair white skin contrasts nicely with his emerald eyes. His armor is made of silver, and decorated with symbols of the Holy Chantry. He is almost never seen without it, as well as his ornate golden walking stick.

PERSONALITY: Goulde is a very stern, by the books kind of man. He is extremely mild mannered, but even so, one can detect the force behind his voice when he speaks. He sees everyone as an equal, be they lord or servant, and doesn't tolerate unjustified abuses towards anyone. He is also a man of the Faith, and is highly regarded in the Holy Chantry for his ability to receive visions from Peon. Though he does not have many friends, he regards the ones he has very highly, and would never do anything to harm them, whether seriously or not. He is much liked by the people for his just attitude, but is often viewed as odd by the nobles for his willingness to communicate with the commoners of his kingdom, something that most nobles view as a task beneath their station.

HISTORY/BIO: Goulde is the first born of King Akteon and Queen Merideth. He was taught at a young age to be responsible, and it has stuck through him throughout the years. He tries to act as a good role model to his younger siblings, and sometimes may seem like an old man to them. He was trained by his father to fight, for he was a warrior himself, but it was the Holy Chantry that gave him purpose for his blade. When he was little, he began to have visions of a glowing entity, who would warn him of evil events soon to come. It was because of these visions that he was taken often to the Holy Chantry, and they thought of him as some sort of Oracle. The knights that served the Chantry, the Templars, told the young lord that he and his blade were destined to one day save the world from calamity. Ever since that day, he has trained rigorously, trying to perfect his swordplay, so that when his time came he could serve his people as a Paragon of Righteousness.
He met the other two Lords of the Empire and the Republic when they were kids, and they became fast friends. They were the only people Goulde felt that he could open up to, that really understood his troubles. He has always been grateful for their friendship, and hopes that, even with war and evil around their borders, that their friendship will be strong enough to overcome it.

King Akteon and Queen Meridith. His parents have always loved their dutiful child, and hope to see him grow to be a true hero.

Juno, Daughter of the Equo: Goulde met Juno at a meeting between his father and her mother when he was twelve. He thought she looked rather odd, standing there and staring into space. Eventually he made conversation with her, and found that, despite the uninterested look she seemed to have, she had a lot to say, most of which was interesting. The two talked for many hours, which may have given the wrong impression to their parents, as they've tried many times over the years to set the two up together. Luckily, their friendship still holds strong to this day.

Claude, Son of the Emperor: Goulde meeting Claude was entirely by accident. While on a trip with his father to see the Emperor when he was eight, the man who Goulde had always been a little frightened of, he decided to go take a walk through the castle gardens. Despite the frigid cold, magnificent plants still managed to grow here. That's when someone ran headfirst into him, knocking them both down. Dazed, he rubbed his head and turned to see the culprit, but the silver haired boy was already up and staring down at him, asking him a million questions. Without waiting for a response, he ran off and returned with a practice blade and axe and challenged him to a duel. Though Goulde reluctantly accepted, it wasn't the duel he expected. The boy raised his axe above his head and with a savage screech charged him, to which Goulde moved an inch, tripped him, and held his blade at the fallen kid. This sparked both a friendship and a rivalry between the two, and whenever Goulde came for a visit, Claude would always try to sneak attack him. Goulde sees him still as a decent man and even a little brother, despite Claude being older than him.

The Holy Chantry and their Templars. He is eternally grateful to the Templars for giving his sword arm meaning, and aspires to uphold their teachings.

PERSONALITY: Juno is rather quiet, reserved, and seen as weird by the majority of the nobles and upper class of the republic. She generally lacks the charisma that her mother has but in very important moments she can step up and show her suppressed talent for being a leader. She is usually kind to everyone who has shown as being worthy of kindness but she has also developed a dark side. Juno has developed the ability to suppress all emotion in case she need to do something that goes against her personal morals for the greater good.

HISTORY/BIO: Juno is the only child of the current Equo. This means that she has received both her mothers and the Congregations full attention. Juno never really had much of a childhood because once it became apparent that Hera was unable to give birth to any other children the congregation stepped in. Knowing full well that it was the duty of the future Equo to Both lead the republic and defend the sacred spear, the Congregation forced Juno to begin her training in both politics and combat. Eventually she would make three Friends in her youth, the lords of the kingdom and empire, and one of her own people.


As Juno became older her skills with wielding a spear became on par with some of the best warriors the republic had. Even so she felt the need to constantly improve which began to alienate herself from the rest of the young nobles of the court. Recently her years of hard work have paid off when her mother gave the spear Lilaine to Juno. Little did Juno know that this would be the beginning of a Quest to save the world.

Hera: Hera is Juno's mother. Juno greatly looks up to her mother and hopes to be like her one day.

Prince Goulde Drivecha of Melisse: Juno was first introduced to the young prince at the age ten when she accompanied her mother to a meeting with the Royal family of Melisse. At first Juno thought the prince was rather... proper and maybe a little stuck up. However the prince easily broke that mindset and they soon became good friends. Unfortunately this lead her mother to believe that Juno had a thing for the young prince and tried to set the two up multiple times. Despite the annoyance of her mother the two are still good friends to this day.

Prince Claude Alberran of Sanguard: Juno has had very limited interaction with Claude. Pretty much all she knows about him is the rumors from Imperial citizens and stories from Goulde.

Noel is rather casual and laid-back. He understands that death is something that happens to everyone as he's seen it all around him before, watching cattle die, or sometimes his neighbors die from disease. Despite that, it still makes him sad to see that someone he knew well died in a war. So, because he doesn't want to feel that sadness, he sacrifices his own body, mind, and soul to protect his friends. But while he's brave and selfless, he's certainly not stupid like your run of the mill anime protagonist. He knows that he can not solo kill enemies, so he stands in the back rallying up his allies to help them in hopes that they don't die.

Off the battlefield, he is a hard worker and tries his best to please his comrades by telling stories, bad jokes, or cooking everyone a nice meal. His charismatic personality and relentless speech and laughter make him to be a nice unit to have (And probably S rank) overall.

Noel was born and raised in a small village, he lived most of his life as a farmer, and as a result, he's seen the circle of life countless times. Crops grow, and then they're harvested, cows get butchered, but it's so that people can eat. Sometimes when there's a festival, he likes to stay away from people and instead, spread the seeds of dandelions in a path. While he respects life, he also knows how to take it. He's butchered animals before, quite a few actually, and knows where to cut so that the death is as painless as possible.​

However, his most prized skill is his ability to rile up whoever is around him. His father was the town crier and speech giver, so he picked up some of his skills (Inheritance).​

Sama is actually a very tiny woman. She stands at 5''3 with a very light frame. This woman was made to ride on the back of a wyvern. She weighs around 113 lbs with her armor. Her dark brown hair is always wind-tousled and loose, and her green eyes have a glint to them that burns with focused determination.
Her armor is custom made for her, made of tempered iron. Under her armor she wears a green tunic that bears the symbol of her home village on the chest.

Tybalt stands at about 6''8 when standing straight up, and is 7''4 from nose tip to tail tip. His wingspan is 15 feet to the inch and his feet are anisodactyl. He is most often seen with his saddle and reins firmly strapped on and is almost never without Sama.

Fire-Blast:
Once per battle, Sama can command her wyvern to blast her enemies with hot flame from his beaked snout, causing a devastating amount of damage. However this leaves poor Tybalt exhausted, and he moves at half movement for the rest of the battle.

PERSONALITY:
Sama is a very headstrong, confident woman. She can and will fite you, no matter how much bigger you are then her! Of course, as headstrong and proud she is, she does know when to shut up and let everyone else do the talking. She knows that she isn't the most... eloquent with speech. She always talks too fast, her mind and mouth moving a mile a minute. She knows all her short comings and tries to amend for them, but sometimes you just slip up and you really mess things up, so sometimes she just steps back.
Her wyvern Tybalt is often regarded as a cooling agent to Sama's fiery personality. Tybs is a very calm, cool-headed red wyvern. Sama and Tybs have an almost telepathic connection, as with any knight and her mount. These two are so close they're never apart. She cares for him daily, and he watches her back and somehow just knows exactly what to do to calm her down. He is also a very expressive wyvern.

HISTORY/BIO:
Sama grew up in a small village surrounded by hills and mountains in Camison, where the people were very seated in traditions and ceremonies, worship of spirits and other deities. One thing made this village very, very special- It was the only place in the country where one could find a Wyvern. In fact, the wyverns were such a normal part of society that the two beings lived together in peace. The wyverns helped the humans hunt and protected them, while the humans helped build them shelters and provided them with their favorite roots. Wyverns were beasts to be respected and admired. It was a very mutually beneficial relationship.

She was born to a small family in this village, who were respected in the community. Her parents were farmers, which made Sama's life very... boring. At least to her.
She met her wyvern Tybalt during her Gilding ceremony. The Gilding is a coming of age sort of ceremony only performed in this village, where when the child turns 13 she must perform a specific dance and song to appease the spirits of the land, and once she's done the villagers throw a powder made of the local herbs that is gold in color, thus Gilding the child.
But hers was different. Halfway through the song and dance, a very young wyvern tumbled from his perch and ran at her, his tongue lolling out of his beak till he crashed right into her. At first everyone was shocked and upset by this, till the elder, the leader of the village who had been observing proclaimed that this meeting was destined. The spirits were pleased and had sent this wyvern to this child for a reason. So the village rejoiced, and Sama laughed as she was spattered with gold dust, only to have Tybalt lick it right off her face.
Now, years later, she is trained in combat on wyvernback, and she is travelling to Melisse in search of adventure. Life in the village is very, very simple and boring. Sama seeks excitement and adventure! Tybs is basically just coming along for the ride. Hooray!

PERSONALITY:
Skadi is far too nice for most people to believe that she would rip their hearts out and eat them without hesitation. Skadi is very much a lokir, fiercely loyal to her friends and absolutely ruthless to her enemies. She has a very animal like mentality seeing things as strong and weak, predator and prey, good and bad. While this can make her seem somewhat simplistic she is smart, she just puts her focus in other things instead of philosophy. She is really just a simple person who enjoys simple pleasures. She loves a good meal, a good fight and surprisingly enough, games. When she's not mercilessly tearing people apart with her fangs Skadi is a playful but competitive person. She loves a game of chance or strategy or strength and is generally up to any challenge. The only game she ever seems to lose is any game where she has to lie. She's nicknamed Wags for a reason. Skadi tends to wear her heart on her sleeve and has a pathological inability to lie. She is honest always and is easily readable.
HISTORY/BIO:
The Lokir, a race of shapeshifters, have lived in the mountains of Sanguard since the war of the gods. Created by Yax to be his soldiers against the humans, the Lokir were a terrifying force of destruction on the battlefield. But after their defeat, the Lokir retreated into the mountains, staying as far away from humans as possible, knowing that the now mighty human countries would destroy them if given the chance. Skadi grew up in one of the small Lokir communities, living day by day off what little meat they could fine. It was a hard life, made harder by the fact that she was the granddaughter of the fenrir, leader of all lokir. This put a massive burden on her, knowing that she was directly in line for the command of her people. Oddly cheerful for a lokir, the burden of responsibility was not for her. So she left for a while, wandering the country in her wolf form. Along the way, she met Claude and lived with him for a while pretending to be his pet. But watching him inspired her to to better in her own life, so she returned to the mountains, ready to take her place. Years later, with rumors of war swirling, she left again, seeking to repay her friend by seeing him safely through the war.

PERSONALITY:
Claude, often in contrast to the other members of his family, is very laid back and generally forgets that he's supposed to act like nobility. He tended to shirk many of his duties while he lived in the castle of Sanguard; while his younger siblings would train non-stop to become powerful warriors worthy of the empire they would someday play a major role in, he would rather sit and watch or even cause trouble for them. He could often be found making mischief somewhere in the castle, whether it be stealing food from the kitchen or generally just bothering the servants, as he found being cooped up in it extremely boring but couldn't be bothered to do something more productive with his time other than occasionally attempting to train again. However, he wants to find a part to play in his empire, and is determined to find some way to be useful; he hates being as lazy as he is. Regardless, Claude is very much the black sheep of his family of serious, powerful warriors. He does share at least one trait in common with them, though: the ability to become very, very angry. It takes a lot to anger him, much more than many of his other family members, but when he gets angry, he explodes. Fortunately for those around him, however, that doesn't happen very often.

Tending to rush into things without thinking them through thoroughly, Claude often finds himself in trouble. That isn't to say he's stupid, though; he can usually figure some way out of the bad situation he's ended up in. He just won't think things through unless they're already a problem. That also applies to his communications with others, as he won't think about the words coming out of his mouth until he's already gotten someone mad or at least annoyed them. Overall, however, he's a pretty friendly guy, and will protect those he cares about.

HISTORY/BIO:
First born son to Emperor Maric and Empress Aryllin, Claude was set to inherit the throne and as such was prepared for it from a young age. In Sanguard, this meant one thing above all others: intensive combat training. Leaders of the empire were expected to have great battle prowess, just like the legendary Five Warriors they held in such high regard. So, day and night, Claude would train with an axe while keeping up with his other studies, hoping to be just as great as the Warriors he had been told tales of since birth and be able to wield Xarx, which he would inherit with the throne. Through his search for greater strength, he made his parents very proud; he was the perfect heir. What better child could they ask for?

However, because he was but a child at the time, there was a limit to his prowess and strength. As such, he began to search for more power through the acquisition of more powerful weapons, hoping they would give him a taste of what he could do with Xarx in hand. However, it was not long before he took it too far, and at only 14 years old he made a grievous error; Claude found and attempted to wield a devil axe. He had read that it had great power, far more than most others, but he failed to heed the warnings of those around him. While swinging it around in the training yard of the grand castle he called home and testing it out, its power backfired on him.

The resulting injury left Claude clinging to life, sick and never to be the zealous warrior he had once been sure that he would be. His recovery took months, between the injuries and various complications and infections. By the end of it, he was left discouraged and physically handicapped; his right leg had never fully healed. He could still walk, but when he did it was with a pronounced limp that was likely to never go away and general discomfort. He certainly wasn't ever going to be the lightning-fast warrior he had once wanted to be. After that, Claude generally remained confined to the castle; his parents didn't want word getting out about what had happened to the prince. They saw his injury as far worse than it actually was, and worried that such a sign of weakness would leave him open to challengers to the throne. They thought it best to hide him away.

For a while Claude was alone in the castle and without purpose, until, one day, he discovered what he believed to be a stray dog wandering in the castle. He decided to take it in as a pet, and he found it to be a delightful companion. Claude had no way of knowing, of course, that this "dog" was Skadi in disguise, but the two became fast friends regardless. With Skadi at his side, he began a tradition of causing trouble around the castle, having great fun and raising his spirits again. After a few years, however, he began to wonder if it was still possible for him to do something for his country, though he couldn't be sure what. His parent's obvious opinions of his injury as a sign of weakness tended to discourage him from being a warrior, but what else could he do? He often talked out loud to Skadi about this, determined but unsure of his possible role. He was glad to have someone to talk to who wouldn't criticize him, though.

After Skadi disappeared one day, Claude continued to try searching for a role to play, but he found that it wasn't so easy to escape the slump he had found himself in for so many years. It was difficult to work hard again after being without purpose for so long. It was during this time of uncertainty that the empire began to mobilize and move into the bordering countries. Having been cooped up for so long, Claude wasn't certain of the reason for it, but he realized that it was finally his chance to get out into the world and find his own purpose. So, one night, taking Xarx in hand, he slipped out of the castle that had been his home, his prison for so long and into the unknown of the approaching turmoil.

Uriel/Tia has never known what a friend is, so because of that they are very awkward while interacting with other people. They never refer to themself as he or she,
Uriel/Tia likes to call themself a person instead. Unlike many other people, they understand the true and basic nature of human beings, greedy, lustful, and primal
creatures who Yarne (Yearn) for more. That's what they think of humans anyways.

Due to their upbringing, they're a little confused is social situations, and can't read the feelings of others very well. To them, making friends doesn't matter, but
it's a nice thing to have anyways. They are mostly introverted and like to keep to themself. In the battlefield, they prefer fighting alone as they believe other
people will hinder their performance. Off the battlefield, they don't talk unless someone initiates a conversation with them, but it's not like that many people speak
to Uriel/Tia anyways.

HISTORY/BIO:
Uriel/Tia's birth was one that was completely unexpected, in short, they were an accident. Despite that, their parents loved them. Their father was a man who did
every odd job to sustain the small structure they call a household, while their mother took care of them while attending to crops. Children costed money, and
Uriel/Tia was no different, eventually the slowly growing needs of having a child caught up to them, and also the stress. And so, a very moody mother continued to take
care of Uriel/Tia until the two parents had an argument on how they should raise their child. Their father thought that Uriel/Tia should be raised on the beliefs
that they should live by their own choices, away from the life of poor farmers and freelancers. However, their mother thought differently. She said that Uriel/Tia
should grow up to understand the business of making money and farming so that one day, they could be one happy family and not have to worry about making money.

Both parents wanted their family as a whole to be happy, but they had different ways to achieve it.

As Uriel/Tia began to grow up, they were unknowingly raised in the crossfire of two conflicting sets of ideals. Eventually, things began to heat up, the arguments
became physical, and stuck in the middle was a child who knew nothing of the world. After all, who wouldn't argue when money and food became scarce. At age eight,
Uriel/Tia's family became poor enough to let Uriel/Tia wear anything they could get their hands on, including dresses, or rags. And they also didn't own any metal
tools to cut their child's hair, so it didn't stop growing.

The happy life that both parents had in mind for their child ended when a wandering slaver came
along. They saw Uriel/Tia playing in the field one day while the child was wearing a dress and had long hair, and so the slaver decided 'My my, this one will make me
quite a fine amount of money!' Without any regards to the consequences of their actions, the slaver kidnapped Uriel/Tia and sold them by auction to an eccentric noble.

What would a nine year old know of the true nature of humans at the time?

Time passed, and with it, Uriel/Tia's innocence. Many vile acts were committed upon the child as years continued to pass. It was only until after an assassination that
they were let free. But once again, the assassin did not consider the consequences of their actions.

Sure, Uriel/Tia was free, but where would they go now? And how would they eat food to stay alive? They were so far away from home, hell, they didn't even know where
home was anymore.

Some more years passed as their life kept going on, they became a mercenary, and later an assassin in order to not eat dirt and sleep in a barn.

And the result of everything is Uriel/Tia.

A mage who thinks herself a character of some over-the-top third-rate play or book, Juniper brandishes not only the Anima elements, but also the grand command of sesquipedalian loquaciousness, paired often with lots and lots of shouting. It easily makes her seem like an excitable and generally glory-hogging mage who wants to be at the centrestage at all times.

As her character quote shows, she is dreadfully aware of her own strange behaviour. Indeed, if one digs a little deeper, it is more or less clear that she acts like she usually does as a way to seem more approachable and friendly, or just carefree and happy. It comes off more as a coping mechanism than anything else.

HISTORY/BIO:
An eccentric mage who wanders the three kingdoms in search for...something or another. She changes the story every time she is asked, and has, to date, been looking for the Philosopher’s Stone, Aurgelmeirghr’s Tome of Aurgelmeirghring, Justice’s Jumping Judging Juju Jamboree, the Holy Explosive Magical Device, and the Sage’s Legendary Laminated Loincloth, amongst other rather suspect-sounding items.

- Skip stands at about 5'8", average height for a cat his age. His two toned fur on his ears and tail is rather unique, along with his amber colored eyes. Personality:
Skip is the personification (catsonification?) of carefree. A young Laguz out on his own, he leads a very calm and laid back life, and though it tends to be a lonely one, that doesn't stop him from being as friendly as possible to anyone he meets. Skip craves friendship and connections, and greatly appreciates and cares for any friends he makes, going out of his way to make sure that they're happy and okay.

Of course with such a bohemian lifestyle, there comes some drawbacks. For one, Skip has no real home or community to call his own, being seen as a sort of outcast for his past. Another is that he is rather uneducated, being illiterate and in general not understanding things from time to time, though that is also a result of his still young age. Regardless of this, any chance he gets to learn something from someone, he'll do it. Though it seems like he can be positive about anything, Skip actually has rather low self esteem, and while he tries his best to help his friends do their best, he doesn't believe in himself the same way but masks it well enough.

History/Bio:
Skip's life has not been an easy one. He has never known his parents, both of them having died before he was born; his father, a spy for the Republic, was killed in action and his mother died in childbirth. Orphaned at birth, he was left in the care of a small community of Laguz that lived within the forest. While he wasn't abused and uncared for, he was definitely unwanted, to the point where it quite literally took a village as no one wanted to be the one to solely care for a random orphan. This led to him finally being named Skip, and even if it was a sort of teasing one, it was a name he would grow to love.

Not everyone would come to feel the same about him, however.

Skip has been bullied for his entire life by the other kids who lived in the village, something that has never quite stopped even now into his teenage years. It's because of this, combined with no real ties to anyone, that led him to begin to shrink away from the community, eventually living on his own as a young teenager. At one point, early in this new life, he met the daughter of the Equo, and became friends with her, keeping in touch throughout the years and occasionally went to visit her in the castle. Seizing these opportunities, he then began to make regular visits to the surrounding towns and shops, becoming friends with the shopkeepers and others, becoming a welcome sight around.

Exclusively grumpy, Peta doesn't seem to like people, often giving that she woke up on the wrong side of the bed every day. Angry, sarcastic and pragmatic, she doesn't exactly mince words and loathes authority figures. She has no concept of manners and can spurt bouts of obscenity (Often sarcastically) at even the most minor provocation. But those that actually take the time to get to know her often find that like many of the nuts and fruits she forages, Peta has a rough exterior and sweet core. She's humble and doesn't overstate her abilities, treats everyone with equity and no matter how much she tries to bury it, has a massive heart. She loves her friends to death and spoils her just as grumpy eagle Leto. People that hear her talk to her companion often disbelieve she's the same person.
HISTORY/BIO:
Born in a small, poor Village near the border of Camisson and Melisse, Peta lived the life of a simple farmer, in one of the least fertile area of the countries. She only stood out in one big way, she was a natural born survivalist who knew the countryside like the back of her hand, often disappearing for a few days to explore the wilderness' of Camison and Melisse. But as she grew older, the village grew poorer and less fertile, eventually forcing her to hunt for game and forage just to keep it alive. And while she excelled at it, she was poaching off the local baron's land and eventually was arrested and dragged to court to answer for the crime of trying to save her home. In a stroke of luck though, the prince was visiting the keep at the time and hearing her story and noticing her skills, offered her amnesty and a place as one of his retainers. And despite her dislike of any authority she agreed. She now serves Prince Goulde, though that does not stop her from making fun of him at any juncture.

PERSONALITY: Too say Valken is stern is an understatement... He is strict to the core to those in the army no matter who they are. He believes that in a war and in combat in general one mustn't dally or waste time as this will leave one's mind undisciplined, and an undisciplined mind can lead to major mishaps. He is a very disciplined man as he's been in the Empire's army since he was just 16 years old, and this discipline is what led him to his position today. Many people don't really like him because everytime someone would try to have fun, he'd ruin it by telling them that "Now's not the time" and would put them back to duties or give them new ones. In all actuality he does this to make sure they are prepared for combat so they don't die, he doesn't want to their families to weep at the loss of their son or daughter. He's a family man and so while he may seem like a jerk he really cares about someone's wellbeing because he knows that everyone has a family and like him they must miss them. So he makes it his mission to make sure that his soldiers survive whatever ordeal so they could see the faces of their parents and brothers and sisters.

HISTORY/BIO: Valken is the son of two hard working farmers, who bust their backs to make sure that the people of the empire are fed. He is the oldest of three siblings, two sisters and a brother, all clearly younger than him. Before everything he was a hard working and diligent son who was clearly the favorite of the family yet he was humble about it saying it was due to his family that he works so hard for everyone. Then came the bad year......

One year Valken's family had a horrible harvest, They lost a lot of money as it was supposed to be a very good time for the amount of money they poured into the harvest. While it was bad, they had enough money to survive and bounce back with next years harvest. The Winter was horrible, the worst one for a long time, and one bad event after another led to his Father going broke and having to sell most of their stuff just to survive. The family acquired a huge debt from some nobles who persisted on having it being payed back. They could never pay it back because the next year was terrible, Valken's little sister fell very ill from the previous winter and they spent so much money on trying to stabilize her condition.

So Valken left home one day to sign up in the Military, it was the only job type that would even accept him. That is where he learned how to read, write, and various tactics. When he served he sent all his earnings to his family so they could survive and as he increased in rank so did the amount of money he sent back. Sadly the debt only seemed to get larger and larger, and it became increasingly hard to keep his family afloat...

Now Valken serves as the captain to his very own group of soldiers, a commander of men and women of the Empire.

PERSONALITY:
Serpis is a very academic person as he's so inquisitive about everything though it is understandable from his upbringing. He's never really had the chance to learn about the various people and creatures of the world as the Manakete tribes are very secluded and isolated from everyone. He wishes to learn everything he can while discovering the forgotten secrets of his people. He's very friendly and loves talking about the various things he learns and often wants to hear the opinions and additional knowledge his companions can share with him.

He isn't aware of the various customs of humans and the other shapeshifters such as hugging, handshakes, stuff of that nature. This is because the manakete tribes don't share such customs and use things akin to their people like if two manakete soldiers fall in love they bind their dragon stones together so that they have an eternal connection with each other.

HISTORY/BIO:
Long ago when Yax was defeated, a tribe of dragon/human hybrids was created to be a safeguard for the people of the world. These ancients Manakete Warriors were very powerful and their knowledge was great. One day the humans decided that they were too big of a threat and declared war upon them, killing many manakete with their clear superior numbers. This war forced the tribes to move far away and to become secluded in the highest peak and there they have rested and kept to themselves for thousands of years.

At least this is what the Story elders say, most of what the Manaketes today know today about their people's past is not much. There are very few relics from the past, one of which a young manakete named Serpis has. Serpis is one of, if not, the only Manaketes that cannot transform using a Dragonstone. When a Manakete is born they are given a Dragonstone to awaken and control their dragon is powers but the stone chooses the manakete, as it has been for many generations. Serpis never drew the attention from any stone except for the sacred one, the oldest stone that for many years has laid dormant. When he received it, nothing happened and nothing would happen for the rest of his life, he was never able to Transform.

Throughout his life, Serpis was made fun of for not having the ability to transform, often called various names. This isolation is what made him into the scholarly fellow he is, as it drove him to try and understand the stone, to unlock it's secrets. Sadly no manakete provided answers so there was only one choice.... To look for them in the lands of the humans. So one night he up and left the tribes in search of information about the stone, and became hooked on learning all things academic in nature. So he wanders the lands, forever searching for lost manakete knowledge and information about the stone he carries with him.

Liam is a shrimp of a boy, only stading at a mere 5'6 with a thin frame. Not the kind of body made for combat. While it is true that Liam has been growing, he is a late bloomer after all so it's really hard to tell how tall he'll be after he stops growing, but place your bets ladies and gentleman! Liam has messy white hair that covers some of his face, but it's easy to see his bright blue eyes. His skin is naturally pale, but after some time in the sun it should become more fair.

Since armor is too heavy Liam likes to wear a heavy jacket over a long sleeved tan shirt. He wear's black gloves too... because it gets cold outside.

PERSONALITY:
To start off Liam might not be the best Tactician... well to say he's probably the worst Tactician. He's certainly held back for his low self-esteem, lacking the courage and confidence that is required for a strategist. He's considerably childish for his age, but he's slowly starting to mature.

Despite lacking confidence Liam is talented with both time and sword, though Liam usually tenses up when someone's watching him. To say the least he breaks easily under pressure. His proficiency with anything goes right out the window. Liam usually gets very stressed, panicked, and shy when someone stares at him, or when he's the center of attention.

Liam has a little case of the cinnamon rolls. Past his awkward and shy personality lies a kind and caring young man. He's sympathetic to both his allies and enemie, and he'll always be there for his friends. Liam is also good at reading other people, looking through lies and facades.

HISTORY/BIO:

Liam was born as the youngest member of the noble Montagu family. A family known for raising skilled Knights and leaders. To no surprise Liam was born as the runt of the family, he was not really treated like his other siblings. Sure he showed skill with a sword, but magic wasn't seen as very knightly in his family, plus having little to no confidence was seen as being weak. Plus Liam was known for causing trouble, from knocking down a torch and nearly burning the whole family house down to nearly getting killed on multiple occasions. Eventually Liam was kicked out by his parents and given to Prince Goulde, hopefully the prince will make Liam into something.

Standing at a short height of 5'3, Tabitha appears as a slender, albeit tan and a petite young woman weighing around 120 pounds. Contrary to her rather frail and skinny visage however, under her battle armor are some rippling muscles which she has earned from years of practicing combat. As most herons cannot fight, she happens to be an exception to the rule because she's not pureblood, which will be explained more into detail in her backstory. The point is, due to the strangeness of genetics, mostly the continuous diluting of heron blood with human blood, she has white, feathery wings and and can transform into a man-sized, snow colored heron by using her avianstone (the bird laguz equivalent of a beaststone) wrapped around her neck in the form of a necklace. She's not extremely fast on foot due to the heaviness of her wings, but in the air she's golden in both forms. Her long, wavy, brown hair reaches past the small of her back. Her almond shaped eyes are a stormy, cold grey. Wearing basically a dress and gloves made out of light weight armor, she has chainmail beneath it. A red sash is wrapped around her waist. Her boots are made of brown leather and coated with armor, with metal but flexible wings growing out of them on her legs, reaching her knees.

PERSONALITY:

Tabitha, due to her past, is a rather quiet and cold individual who can be seen as stuck up or perhaps shy because she doesn't talk that much to acquaintances and prefers to only speak when spoken to. She can sometimes be blunt and aloof, as well as distant and prefers to call and refer individuals by a nickname, basically putting walls around herself. She has flashbacks of her time in slavery and will often break down because of it. Of course, not in front of other people. To those she gets to know however, Tabitha is more open and perhaps even motherly. Even so, she often has trouble conveying her emotions to an extent and will bottle things up, not wanting to be a bother to anyone. She's also very loyal and will do whatever she can to help someone. But she doesn't deal well with betrayal and can be very bitter. She's stubborn and once she puts her mind to something, she'll do it. Having been around longer than a regular human being and having traveled the lands, Tabitha possesses great knowledge of the history and customs of the kingdoms, close to what a noble or someone else who has longed lived does. Like most herons, she loves singing but at the same time hates it. She finds her bloodline to be cursed. She's a hard worker too, perhaps too hard of a worker. While she doesn't have the best luck, she tries. She's prone to mishaps, but not on the Sumia level.

HISTORY/BIO:

While most of the continent was at peace, the heron clan, located in one of the forests of Melisse, was in a frenzy over the sudden departure of their chief's daughter who fell in love with a human man. While it had been many years since the heron clan had finally opened their poveribal doors to mating humans, the chief and his descendants were part of a sacred bloodline that was almost untouched by human blood, and as such they were expected to keep it that way...through pretty much incest. The chief's daughter found this tradition disturbing and as such rebelled against her clan, wanting to see the world beyond the forest, and began seeing a human. The heron clan tried repeatedly to get her back, but the chief found her to be a disgrace and soon put a stop to it. After all, he had other children...

The chief's daughter and her new husband lived happily, their love eventually resulting in the birth of baby girl which they named Tabitha. Because her mother still had at least a tiny bit of human blood and her father was pure human, she grew at a normal rate just like human children until reaching her maturity at the age of 18 where she appeared to stop aging. During those years, Tabitha had a difficult childhood because of her bloodline and race. While her father did his best to protect his wife and child from slavers and other wretched individuals, there came a point where he, being a retired mercenary was forced to teach his young daughter the way of the sword. Normally, herons could not wield a sword, but again, due to her tainted blood, Tabitha had enough stamina and muscles to be able to do so. So it was Tabitha learned how to defend both herself and mother, and learned some galdrar along the way. The family of three lived in peace within a small, unimportant village, but eventually the years caught up with Tabitha's father and he passed away. Sickness spread throughout the tiny village at one point, taking Tabitha's mother away permanently until the young woman was left alone to fend for herself. In grief she left, traveling the lands, unsure what to do. She just did what she could to survive, taking odd jobs from singing for some villages and cities to mercenary work...although it was somewhat difficult because of her bloodline. She made a name for herself. She faced several hardships because of that, and more than once wished she was just a heron or just a human-not a in between creature.

One day, while traveling within the wilderness of the Melisse and deciding to lay low for several years, she was caught by some elite slavers who were interested in her because she was part bird. She tried repeatedly to get away, but had no such luck. The slavers were going to give her to some more of the corrupt nobles of the kingdom. She faced horrible verbal abuse and some physical abuse, but didn't have anything happen to her which would result in permanent physical scarring. Nonetheless, the damage was done. She saw some of the horrors of humanity and nearly gave up hope...until there was a light at last. A few years after being sold to a Melissian noble, she was rescued by some of the king's men and came across Prince Goulde while being treated by the healers within the castle. Despite the horrors she had faced, Tabitha was indebted to the king and decided she would return the favor in whatever way she could. Being skilled with a sword and able to reenergize individuals, Tabitha eventually became a retainer of Prince Goulde.

So it was that then that invasions began and her life would take another turn...She had only been the Prince's retainer for a year.

PERSONALITY:
At a first glance, Oberon seems very imitating: large, rugged, and menacing giant. However, strangers quickly realize that he is quite the opposite of how he seems when they speak to him. He is truly very gentle and kind, treating the people around him like glass, sometimes having to been reminded not to. He is genuine, and actually quite naive, which can lead him to be taken advantage of by the ones he chooses to trust. He is extremely protective of his younger sister, and of pretty much anyone he cares about or seems innocent for that matter, and is almost always seen by her side. PERSONALITY:
Acacia is a clever woman with more than enough confidence to say what she wants. She is, at first, unobviously brave, independent, and witty; completely the opposite of her body type. Acacia was born as the second child of King Rongen and the first Queen, Sibyl, after her brother Oberon. She was mainly raised by her mother, rather than her father, to follow in the footsteps of her religious practices; this made them very close, even though she wasn't completely sure whether or not she wanted to continue living a life like her mother’s. Her mother quickly showed promise, for she tried hard to be a good role model for her daughter, and was rumored to become the next high priestess, a title most respected and envied for. Before her brother’s day of coming, Sibyl was accused for casting a spell over the royal family along with many other accusations of witchcraft, and was executed for it. This left Acacia, especially, in a state of distraught, losing the one other person who mattered in her life beside her sibling. She, then, felt it was her duty to uphold her mother’s legacy, possibly becoming the high priestess her mother was unable to become. This only drifted her and her father even more apart, but brought her and her brother closer together.

PERSONALITY:
The word slacker is how you'd begin to describe Haine when a fellow soldier asks you the question "What's she like?" But if you stalked her for 24 hours, you'd find that it is actually partially true. At night, when nobody is awake, she makes potions in preparation for the next day (That doesn't seem like slacker yet), but upon another fourteen year old girl stalking session, you'd find that she's lazy with making them too. In order to make enough potions (And not have her boss die so that she can get paid) She uses the cheapest and most readily available ingredients around her, dead flowers that soldiers throw on the floor when a generic cleric rejects their love, silver and gold shavings from wedding rings that came from dead soldier's bodies, and sometimes, her toenails. If she took the time for quality ingredients like non dead flowers, her potions would be top quality like an Elixir, but due to the slackerish and stingy nature of Haine, that is not possible.

On the battlefield, Haine is a dedicated sleeper, but despite being the gigantic slacker that she is, she is actually a very efficient healer. The only problem is, if someone pulls too far away from her, they're not getting any heals. In fact, they're probably going to die.

HISTORY/BIO:
What happens when you decide to mess around and indulge in your euphoric hormone rush as a teenager and mate with whatever is in your sight? You get Haine. Her mother hoped that when she was pregnant, her child would be a boy so that at least when it grew up, it could search for its mother and give her the riches that she was never able to experience. Greedy and primitive, the human fell into rage when they saw that Haine was a girl. Her mother wasn't capable of making enough money to sustain herself, much less a child, so the sensible thing would be to drown the baby, or drop it off at an orphanage. But oddly enough, something didn't feel right when she was about to throw baby Haine off of the cliff. So she kept the child, and raised it as if it were a boy. But her method of raising a child wasn't exactly
the right one.

All her mother ever knew was abuse from her own parents, and so she raised Haine in the same fashion. Yelling, screaming, intolerance; she calls it 'Tough love.'

Both Haine and her mother were alchemists, from her, Haine learned how to brew the deadliest of poisons and most effective of potions. Day and night, they were making potions and selling them for a cheap price, a mere 100 gold. It was barely enough to keep them alive, so her mother was always angry because of their poor living
conditions. So she vented out her anger onto her child.

So then, after a few years had passed, Haine brewed a nice concoction for her mother. At night, she embraced her mother's breast with a dagger, and pierced deeply, then while the woman was screaming, she emptied the contents of the beautifully made concoction into her mother's mouth. With a smile, Haine shushed her mother's screams with a finger, and tucked her into bed, uttering her mother's four most hated words.

"Good night my child."
