Ok: quick question before Chrom posts...


So are some people already in the Shepherds and some yet to be recruited? Also I'm assuming the Shepherds are somewhere outside of Cantor?

Some people are Shepherds and I'm guessing some people want their characters to join. And nope! The Shepherds are already in Cantor! Or at least some of them! If you want Chrom to be on the outskirts still, planning something, you could do that though!
 
I could be wrong, but by the sounds of the first intro post, The Shepherds main force is actually already battling towards the center of the city.


I believe you're right about some yet to be recruited!


I know for my character, she doesn't have to be recruited right away. Depending on how the story develops, this could very well just be her first meeting with them - it's really just going to depend on how the conversation plays out.


But I am not GM! >_< Sorry if I sound bossy or anything..
 
I doubt siblings, they don't at all look anything alike! xD But I'm alright with them having a history of some kind! :3 I don't..think they'd get along romantically. Imrea is a good character, but I don't believe she's the kind of person Camilla would go for. I think former friend or colleague would be most believable, unless you disagree?

Second, I got a quick question, which.. probably has a really obvious answer... but still. Is the group of Plegian soldiers (assigned to Camilla) going to meet her in the center of Cantor? If so I'll just bring Jalil there and let him meet her there.

Whatever is believeable, friendly work colleagues it is.
 
Truthfully I wasn't entire sure what the beat course of action for that was, so I tried to leave it kind of open ended.


What do you think?


I think it would make more sense for them to meet up elsewhere, but I wasn't sure where..

Hmm, I think they could meet up somewhere outside of Cantor but show up at the battle at different places, not all together in one cluster of units(kinda like reinforcements in the game, I don't remember which chapter exactly, but mages showed up in one spot and wyvern riders came in another direction..) Perhaps they could be paired up as well, 'cept we don't have many Plegians at the moment. Trying to think here! By the way, your first post was great.

Out of the blue, a friend of ours showed up at our house and took us out to the next town over for the day, and I've just gotten back home.


I'll be reading over everyone's posts so far and then doing mine momentarily! :)
 
I haven't played this game in ages but i feel like joining as a cleric yes female of course this won't my main char but it's a good start

Oh! Well, why thank you!!! I really enjoyed yours as well!! That sounds reasonable, and also comparable to game play, which I think will make things easier. I will probably have her run into your character in my next post on the morrow.


So, another issue: classes. Some people are going to have to concede to starting off weaker than others. There haven't been any fights between full fledged characters yet, but each person needs to be aware of pros and cons for their character class...


For example, Camilla, as a paladin, would be one of the strongest classes in the beginning, if we consider this like the beginning of a game. but, though very well rounded in all basic stats except mag and Res, she has one of the slowest growth rates.


I am obsessed with these games, so if you need any help or want suggestions on pros and cons for your class, let me know!


Just keep in mind that no character is all mighty!!!

I started another game in FE:A, starting to play as Aro :D


It's sort of exciting.


But since it's 3:45 in the morning, and I had a big day, it's sleep time for me. Nighty Night~!

i'm not very good at dice games apart from 5.0 D&D so it would put me off a bit unless someone helped me with the sheet
 
if we did dice, it would be better to make a simple system. Since this is already a detailed RP, I feel like the way we display the way our characters are reacting to things happening is more important than dictating exact damage, and deciding things like health per character class and leveling up... (especially since we aren't likely to let anyone's character be killed, and therefore people are likely to run away or faint instead)
