Personality- Like his ancestors before him, Lautre is a very patient and humble man. He only wants what is best for him and his people and will go to great lengths to achieve this. He trusts his comrades and fellow soldiers deeply. However, make no mistake, Lautre will cut down any opponent on the battlefield without mercy.


Class- Lord.


Backstory- Born into the royal family of Ylisse, Lautre was raised to be as princely as possible: to behave well, dress well, and even fight well. He was being molded into what would be the perfect Exalt. However, his parents passed away on the way to renew the peace with Plegia, leaving Lautre stuck as he is not old enough to take up the position of Exalt. However, there was one spot he could take up... The Leader of the New Shepherds.


Why Did You Join The Military?- He lacked the age to become Exalt and Ylisse lacked a full protection, causing the creation of the New Shepherds.

Backstory- Born in Plegia, Ellit lived with his mother due to his father passing away while he was very young. Growing up, he was usually picked on by the other kids around the village. That is until one day the young Ellit stumbled upon a pile of Tomes left alone. Interested, he took all of them and studied magic till he couldn't think about anything else, eventually casting a successful wind spell at the age of 13. At the age of 20, Ellit had a run in with the Law and fled the country, arriving in the Halidom of Ylisse to start a new life.

Personality- Lucian is an a rather shady fellow and is quite unpredictable. He usually sees thing as a great deal of work, regardless of the act, and gets bored rather easily. He is a quiet fellow, always preferring to spend time by himself rather then others. In battle he is calm and confident and tries to the best to his ability even though he does not want to.


Class- Thief


Backstory- Born into the slums of Regna Ferox, Lucian learned how to live tough and thrive with very little. His childhood is rather clouded, but he does still have two alive parents. What people do know however, is his natural ability of thievery. In order for his family to survive he needed to steal and stealing was all he could do well. It wasn't until a friend of his ratted him out, was he finally caught. From ages 10-15 was the time where he served jail time, however it was not taken note of as one of the Ferox higher ups saw potential in him. When he left prison he was recruited as a spy and scout for brigands and bandit guilds. He was also granted to steal from them as he pleased. As time passed he worked his way up the ranks and finally made it the khan's right hand man. However as evil arose, Lucian was offered to the Ylisseians to assist in the attack and also as a gift of peace.


Why Did You Join The Military?- Lucian was ordered by the Khan to assist the Ylisse in their struggles. He'd rather be looking after his family. But orders are orders.

Personality- Louise is an awkward person, and sometimes goes to far in her duties. She is extremely over protective, but is also very dilligent. She will always prioritize her self last, and will also make sure the people she is assigned to are safe. She will get involved in conversation willingly and is not afraid of anything... except spiders.


Class- Wyvern Lord


Backstory- Born to a family of successful Pegasus knights, there was a lot of pressure put on Louise's shoulders. Her first encounter with the Pegasus was rather cruel and unfortunate, as no Pegasus would allow her on their back. Because of this the members of the Ylisse army imported a Wyvern, to give that a try. Unlike the Pegasus, the Wyvern and Louise fell in love with each other, and became good friends. Louise became a successful soldier at the young age of 16, and was appointed the guard of any royal member soon after. Once the New Shepard's were created Louise was asked to look after Lautre and keep him safe. As one of the most loyal knights, she accepted and keeps a close eye on him, making sure he does not die.


Why Did You Join The Military?- Louise joined the army because she feels serving Lautre is for the greater good, she only takes orders from him.

Name: Maia Ivor


Age: 21


Country of Origin: Ylisse


Personality: Maia is pretty stoic, she's the kind of person who is very hard to get close to. As a tactician, she notices just about everything around and knows how people think and work very well, yet despite seeing so much, she is not one who speaks up unless it's related to the mission at hand or the other person strikes up conversation first. She often is found keeping herself company, enjoys the solitude that comes with that. She has a very serious nature that causes the other Shepherds to talk about who it was who shoved the stick up her arse so long ago but it's rarely said with any venom behind it. She's not a mean person, in fact, she has very strong morals and an unshakable loyalty to those she deems worthy (few are, in fact, ever deemed worthy), but she is also brutally honest and will say what needs to be said. She's courageous and physically incredibly strong, often trying to rely on her sword than her magic, and she's one of those people who prepares (although many say over-prepares) for every possible scenario that could possibly happen. It's not uncommon for her to forego sleep in favor of strategizing or preparing for battle. She is truly passionate with her work, if she's not actively planning a strategy for a mission, she's reading more tomes and tactics. She's not unfriendly, but she's not an easy person to hold a conversation with. The easiest way to get her to talk is to discuss strategy with her.

Backstory: Maia rarely talks about her childhood, there are few who are close enough to her to know more than just a snippet of her story. The tactician rarely talks about herself and when conversation brings attention to her, she is smooth enough to divert the attention. As a child, Maia was a bastard child and daughter of a courtesan in one of Ylisstol's lower districts. Her mother and the others at the brothel raised her for a time before going out on her own. Her natural talents as a tactician showed at a young age, Maia was often able to steal things without getting caught (not because she was quiet, in fact she's pretty heavy footed and not so subtle) because she was able to figure out the right times and moments in which to successfully make her grabs. Later on, she became a sword for hire for several years until she helped a group of Ylissean soldiers chase off some bandits and was enlisted in the military where her natural gifts as a tactician flourished and she was able to climb the ranks.


Why Did You Join The Military? It was the best thing going for her, and despite not saying it aloud, Maia is grately devoted to Ylisse and wants to ensure its safety.

Personality- Eccentric to say the least but happy to help, amiable and humorous if it doesn't interrupt his research. He is fast talking never stating on topic for more that a few seconds before becoming detracted by the next trail of thought or idea.

Backstory- The Shepherds resident mad scientist or mage as this case may be, and known author of various magical tomes. A farmer's son, he gained a fascination at young age when he accidentally bought a tome instead of a story book on the legend of former exalt Chrom. The fascination turned to obsession as he tried to gain more knowledge by gaining more tomes. This caught the attention of a court mage of Ylisse to happen to witness an narrowly avoiding one Tronars attempts at spell casting which caused an incident. The mage seeing potential took Tronar in as an apprentice and tried to give him a safe place to practice magic though it was futile as accidents still happened, one of which involving the future exalt and narrowly avoided fireball. In the end the end he struck out on his own, continuing his magic research, causing some destruction in his wake to the chagrin of onlookers, and writing to new tomes. Eventually he was approached to join the new Shepherds hoping mainly to keep him out of trouble.

Name- Torman Allisae


Age (17-30)- 2100. ((He's a Manakete. If he was anywhere in that age, he'd be the equivalent of a newly born.))


Country of Origin- Regna Ferox


Personality- Quiet and stealthy, Torman much prefers a silent approach to a full on charge. Is is extremely loyal to those he serves, but will stick a dagger in the back of anyone he feels a threat. Doesn't make friends easily, you know, since they'll all die long before him. Justice is not a concept he believes in, since all people have a different version of it, there can never be any resolve from it.

Backstory- Torman lived through many wars, and saw many kings rise and fall, Chrom being one of them. He felt no need to interfere in the conflict of humankind, so he kept to himself in the hidden valleys of Regna Ferox, until long after Chrom's death. One night while walking alone near the Ylissean border, he was ambushed by Raiders without his dragonstone, he was helpless. The brutes attacked him, and before he could be killed, a patrol of Ylisseans turned up to send the brutes running. Within the group, was the current Prince of the time. As is Manakete tradition when someone saves your life, Torman pledged allegiance to the crown, and promised to serve them as he could.

Backstory- Takano grew up on a farm in a small village. She lived on the country side with her family and did the hunting with her dad and older brother. She would always patrol the house with a sword that her father made for her. She brings the sword everywhere with her. One day she was on patrol walking through her fields admiring the flows when she heard a blood curdling scream come from her house. She ran as fast as she could back to her house. But alas, she was to late a risen wolf had already killed her older bother and mom. Her dad has badly wounded and was laying on the floor. She could never forgive herself for this incident.


Why Did You Join The Military?- She joined the military to get her mind off her loss. She wanted to learn to focus so she could protect the people she loved.

Personality- At first glance, laid back and casual. Upon closer investigation, protective of her friends and won't stand for the innocent being treated unfair. Has been known to go into a rage if angered. Doesn't trust Lords but respects peasants. Easily annoyed by lazy idiots. Finds a reason to keep going even in the most drastic situations. She holds her own idealized concept on justice, not many people understand it... She doesn't even understand it sometimes.


Class- Thief


Backstory- Nanako grew up at an inn in Northern Valm. After the splitting of the empire some of the smaller towns in the north, finding it harder to find resources entered a period of starvation... Nanako at a young age witnessed what starvation could do to a community, and swore to help them in their need. As she grew into her teens she and some of her other similiarly minded friends held raids against the slightly more prosperous eastern towns and cities. During a raid she had a run in with the law and had to flee the continent, and saying goodbye to her friends and family fled to a nation rumour had whispered that she could start over in.


Why Did You Join The Military?- Upon reaching Ylisse at age 17 she realized she needed a job, so joined the military. She ended up in the city guard. She found this job ridiculously boring, and often fell asleep. One day after unlocking the door to the barracks to sneak into and take a nap, an officer of the military found her. She totally thought she would be kicked out of the military and forced to flee again, but instead he acknowledged her skills in unlocking a heavy iron door with four complicated locks on it and sent her to work in Ylisse's Intelligence Operations, she has worked her way to the top of that system for about 12 years now making many friends, and contacts inside Castle Ylisse.

Backstory- Having grown up on a sawmill, Helrik learned many techniques. He uses most of those techniques to this day. He was an only child, causing him to be more spoiled since he was the only child. At age 5 he suffered severe injuries to his face, causing him to wear a helmet to hide the monstrosity that lye beneath. At age 10, Helrik fell ill, unable to do his daily chores. He read books all day. He leaned more towards books about Knights, or fairytales. He dreamed about being the best of the best in the Military. At age 18 he enlisted in to Ylisse military.

Personality- Usane is a very proud and talkative person, which sometimes leads to showing off. She likes to joke around while among friends, but on the battlefield she is serious. She is as loyal as can be and would easily die for someone she is close to. She enjoys being outdoors and is rather claustrophobic. She is always looking for excitement, and unlike most of her kind, she is quick to fight. She is aware of the fact that there aren't many taguel, and will fight until she is ready to collapse.

Backstory- Usane grew up traveling a lot with her mother, who was human. She didn't understand much about being taguel until she was brought to her father when she was 12. She then took to traveling with him while training to use her abilities for survival and combat. She spent the next 6 years with him and the two grew very close. One day she decided the nomadic life wasn't for her and set off to join the Ylissean army.


Why Did You Join The Military?- Usane joined seeking adventure and the thrill of battle.


Appearance- When not in her beast form, Usane is a little on the tall side with unusual black hair streaked with silver. She has markings on her face, similar to that of her ancestor Panne, red eyes, and long rabbit-like ears. When in rabbit form, her fur is black, with the facial parts, stomach, and legs silver. She wears to common taguel armor, but hers is streaked with red, so its seems more "intimidating"

Backstory- Born in rural village where he was raised by retired female soldier (likely to be his mother), said to be that served in Ylissean military as a warrior, protecting the villagers from bandits for years. Alton trained in swordplay at the age of 17 with her mother's help in training. when he left the village to find a job, he joins Ylissean military to honor her mother's legacy and tries to achieve the possible at the war
