Halfway down the trail to Hell,
In a shady meadow green
Are the Souls of all dead troopers camped,
Near a good old-time canteen.
And this eternal resting place
Is known as Fiddlers’ Green.
Marching past, straight through to Hell
The Infantry are seen.
Accompanied by the Engineers,
Artillery and Marines,
For none but the shades of Cavalrymen
Dismount at Fiddlers’ Green.
Though some go curving down the trail
To seek a warmer scene.
No trooper ever gets to Hell
Ere he’s emptied his canteen.
And so rides back to drink again
With friends at Fiddlers’ Green.
And so when man and horse go down
Beneath a saber keen,
Or in a roaring charge of fierce melee
You stop a bullet clean,
And the hostiles come to get your scalp,
Just empty your canteen,
And put your pistol to your head
And go to Fiddlers’ Green.

Welcome to fiddlers green, an afterlife for only true warriors of recon. You're a soldier who has died in the heat of battle, how you have died is up to you. Being apart of the Cavalry in the Galactic Empire had its perks however, you being a lean-mean-killing machine, after all~
The setting in general will be futuristic as shit, meaning: I won't really be able to create everything about it! There's only so much technology that my mind can comprehend, I'd definitely need your help and suggestions on what kind of weaponry/technology you would like to use.
The fights would be random 1v1 and unorganized. No rules would've in place, since it would be a recon vs recon duel. The fights would be tournament style however, so the winner would actually make it into Fiddler's Green with the legends of the Cavalry.
