Fantasy Feral is the new Normal

"And what if I say no?" Babylon snarled. "You don't know who you're dealing with." She said. "Do you really think a stupid, little bullet can kill me?" She took his hand and pressed the gun against her skin. "We can also just take this to the water and battle it out there. What do you say, Mr Jellyfish? Can you win from a shark?"

Now she really wanted to bite the guy's head off. She had tried to avoid losing her anger, but now her temper had begun to reach its limits.

"Oh, if you insist." He snapped his fingers and two men in black suits entered with two silver briefcases. They placed them on the counter before leaving. He opened them and pulled out a rocket launcher and a gatling gun. "Now, I dare say that chances are looking pretty good." He also had a lot more weapons in the suitcases.

Allen smiled in relief, looks like he isn't gonna be eaten today. Or hopefully ever. His mouth opened then closed as he watched the woman go back to a table and took something from the chair, all the while talking to him. As she walked back to him, Allen's eyes were swivelling around a bit, like a chameleon. His eyes snapped back to it's normal position and stared at the again, extended hand held out for him.

"Babylon Core? Your name sounds like a-" he started as he reached for her hand to shake it. Unfortunately, Allen couldn't do anything as he felt a metallic object hit his head. He reeled backwards and groaned, hasn't he had enough!? Clutching his throbbing skull, he glimpsed Babylon attacking a man that supposedly threw the can at them. They were getting into a fight, great, another one.

Allen wobbled backwards before plopping himself down against the wall, his camouflage ability activating again. Throbbing headache, nearly broken glasses and a now bloodthirsty aquatic. He was glad he could turn invisible, sort-of. But he was a pacifist, and he disliked fighting anyone. Like he could fight back anyway, what could he do? Scare the shit out of them by licking them with his now extendable tongue? Nah. It could work though.

"Wow." Babylon laughed, doubling over in laughter. "You bring those things along with you? Must really suck that you can't defend yourself in your little, squishy animal from. That's just sad." She laughed and pointed at his face. "Fine shoot me, see if I care." She took a seat on a barstool and grabbed someone's drink, taking a sip from it. "Do tell me something first." She said, swirling the drink in her hand. "How does it feel when Spongebob milks jam out of you?" She smirked and took another sip. "How if life down in Bikini Bottom?"

"Oh, just about the same way your dentist feels every time you grow teeth back. It must suck not getting good dental." Elliot replied as he put them back and pulled out a chainsaw before setting it down. "Also, you never know when someone gets the sudden urge to wipe the floor with your pale bony ass, yes, I mean you, that's why I'm always prepared." He said, taking a sip of his diet coke that thankfully was unharmed. "I suppose we got off on the wrong foot, Elliot J., Aquatic, Jellyfish." He pulled out a business card from his library and tossed it at her. "Ladies like my tentacles by the way." He added.

"Then those girl must be as empty minded like a jellyfish... Oh wait, you are a jellyfish, now it makes sence." She said sarcastically. "Babylon Core, aquatic, Great White." She grabbed his card and placed it between her teeth before standing up. "And now I really have to go or my ass is going to be served as lunch." She walked out and waved over her shoulder. "See ya suckers around."

"Screw you yeh guppy." He shouted as she left. "Very violent that one." He looked at his glass. "Barkeep, another diet coke." He requested as he leaned back on the counter.

Meredith had simply watched as the pair had fought. She walked over to the man, the man that had fought with that other girl, the obnoxious one that was shouting for soft drinks.

"You shouldn't cause such trouble..." She stated quietly. "All it's going to do is get either you or someone else hurt." Her gaze settled so that she peered into the man's eyes. "And besides. Yelling at people puts you in nothing but a bad situation."

"Eh I'm used to it." He stated simply as he received another can and decided to pour it into his personal golden wine chalice. "Besides, what's life without a bit of danger every now and then." He continued as he took a sip.

"If there's an injury of one of us in here, I have to deal with it. You know that, or you should. You could always make my life easier. Danger's fine, but pissing people off isn't. All you're doing is making enemies." Her voice was patronizing. It bugged her when people acted in such ways. We might be feral, but we don't have to be wild animals...

"And why do you think I have so many damn guns." He said as his pinky finger turned into tentacles and yanked out a few guns from his sleeves. "I'm just doing what I like to do, take enthusiastic walks that take me places." He took another sip from his golden chalice.

Meredith let out a heavy sigh.

"Fine," She snapped, irritated, "But I'm not going to peice you back together when you need it. And that's a when, not an if." She took a deep breath, sitting next to the man. "I'm Meredith, by the way. Meredith Caine." Her voice was surly. "And yours?"

"Elliot J." He responded simply and handed her his library's business card. He took another sip before looking disgusted. "Gold and diet coke do not go well." He said as if it was an everyday fact. "And don't need it, I gave a few hospitals some generous donations. Don't ask."

Meredith studied the card, and her eyes brightened in recognition. Been there before. She looked at the man, Elliot.

"Fine, then. Have fun when they find out you're feral." She turned her attention from the man, looking around at the happenings of the bar. She greeted the bartender.

The shark girl slammed a jellyfish boy into the wall right next to her, snarling ferociously at him. Ella quivered where she stood, simply relieved that they hadn't seen her. Holy hell. They were savages. Monsters. And everyone else acted like it was normal. Being a good little student, the Korean girl didn't drink often, but now she shakily made her way to the bar and ordered a whiskey. Nursing the drink she went back to the wall and sat down as far away from the others as she could get, not noticing the half-invisible boy sitting next to her.

David opened the door to the tavern and looked around, nobody here but a bunch of kids. He could smell everything, from the irony smell of blood, to the individual types of liquor, to everyone's deodorants, and perfumes. He made his way to the bar and ordered a jack and coke, on which he sipped on quietly and listened to the world around him.

Gabriel finally received his drink with the umbrella and lifted it to his lips taking his first sip as he turned around in his chair. He watched as the girl he bumped into tripped and then proceeded to ram into some guy who liked brief cases. He laughed to himself looking at the guy because he looked like a stereotypical villain from a cartoon down to his blueish hair. "Looks like they will let just about any one in here now a days." Gabriel smiled until he saw the girl who said she was the one that had to heal everyone. He smiled and walked over to her taking another drink from his glass "Hey is that guy bothering you...Is there something I can do for you?" He only stood there for awhile before watching a girl leave out the door.

"Oh trust me, they know..." His mind went back to the time he gave generous donations.

"Alright, now the next time you don't let me in, I will take everything you own and crush it with all my might!" He shouted as he aimed his assault rifle at the various doctors and hospital directors. They nodded fearfully, some cried and fainted, some were actually dead. "Good, now I hope you appreciate the generous donation I've given you, letting you keep your lives."

"Aaah....good times." He chuckled sinisterly.

Lindsy Blake

Lindsy stepped over the guy on the ground and maneuvered through the tables of the bar as she got to the counter and plopped three hundred dollars on the table from her wallet. "Here's for the bathroom door. It crack'd." She said and then walked away towards the door. She wanted to go outside to hunt. However, it was not a hunt for humans. She's been hunting for a year now. Hunting one person and one person only. It was an FMI like her, but not a Jaguar. She picked up her motorcycle helmet and marched to the door.

Babylon stuck her key in the front door and opened it, walking in before she slammed it shut. She dropped her backpack and smiled when she hear voices coming from the living room kitchen area. He must have brought home some co-workers. she thought with a smile."Dad, I'm home!" She called, but received no answer back. "Dad?" She tried again. No matter how busy Babylon's father was, he always called back, but this time the voices just stopped. "Dad, is everything okay?"

Babylon walked into the kitchen and froze in the doorway. Three police officers were sitting at the table with her father.

Uh-oh.

"Babylon, run!" Her father called, and that was all babylon needed before snatched her bag from the floor and sprinted out of the house.

She heard the police call after her and fire bullets. She ran into the forest not to far from her house and ran between the trees. Babylon could clearly hear the three men running after her, but she had something those bastards didn't.

Since Babylon knew this forest out of her head, she also knew that there was an endless deep lake. Once she knew that she was close, she tossed her backpack up in a tree and jumped in the lake with close and all. Shots were being fired at her as she swam down, and one bullet actually hit her arm, but a few seconds later she felt her body transform and a great white shark was now in the water.

It swam up in fury and managed to grab one of the police officers, dragging him down with itself. The shark adjusted the police officer in its jaw and bit the body in half, before it disappeared into the depth.

He could feel the throbbing of his head lessen. Why would someone throw a CAN at a person? Well, a chameleon person at that. Allen still had his hands on his head, not looking up but listening intently to his surroundings. Babylon was chatting with the man that threw the can at him, a Jellyfish man. He snorted quietly, a jellyfish? That's even stranger than his own virus type. Wonder how he get it though...

Suddenly, he could hear Babylon's voice saying good-bye, in a bit of a rude way. Then another set of footsteps were supposedly heading to the direction of the exit as well, looks like mostly everyone was gonna go now. He should get going too, he had no reason to be here, but just awkwardly lurk around. Allen slowly removed his hands supporting his head and a ANOTHER person was now sitting next to him.

The boy shrieked then covered his mouth before scooting a bit away from the girl. Being invisible, he should act more professional instead of freaking out or messing up all the time.

@firejay1

When something touched her, then screamed, Ella nearly toppled out of her chair. Slapping her free hand over her mouth to stifle her own scream, she whipped her head around to look for the source of the noise, very much afraid. Her keen eyes just barely picked out the outline of a boy who was... brown? He looked almost like he was blending right... he WAS blending right into the background. "W-why are you screaming?" She asked, faintly, mirroring his action by shrinking to the edge of her chair.

Gabriel tipped the bar tender before preparing to leave. His fingers ran through his hair as he thought about how his day had been and just wanted to get home to fall asleep. He proceeded to the door pushing some girl standing in the path out of his way with his shoulder. "Watch where you're going." Gabriel said knowing that it was actually his fault but didn't particularly care. Slowly, he continued down the alleyway trying to keep wary if any one were to see him.

Babylon came up from the water when the coast was clear. She grabbed her backpack from the tree and ran as fast as she could, in soaking wet clothes to the tavern. If the cops were after FMI's then the others needed a warning too before it was too late, for them and the cops. Shegot out of the forest, ran across town, turned down an alleyway and almost ran a guy over, she didn't see his face but she still shouted sorry over her shoulder before turning to the left and crashing into the tavern. She crashed through the door and leaned on her knees to breathe. Living on the other side of town did have it's down sides sometimes.

"Christ…" She said out of breath still leaning against her knees, pointing at the door as water dripped from her clothes, body and hair. "Home… And cops… FMI chase… Christ I wish I had a better running condition…"

Meredith's head whipped toward the scent of blood. Picking up her first aid kit, she walked over to the girl, setting the kit onto the bar counter and taking out a tool. She took the girl's arm, digging the tool into her arm. The bullet popped out.

"...You're allright. Can you sit down and tell me what happened?" She asked quietly, wiping the wound with an alcohol swab. She wrapped it in gauze, sitting down and patting the stool beside her.
