That's a very difficult question, but I think I would either have to go with griffins or selkies... I just think griffins are a neat hybrid and I enjoy reading about selkies. On a related note, kelpies are also pretty wicked, but they rather scare me... (x

I don't know if it actually counts as a mythological creature or not, but I also adored the Questing Beast in The Once and Future King. She was actually one of my favorite characters... (:
