"I wonder how Kokoro is doing?" Ma'arz ponders.

Switching the scene for a brief moment, we see the inside of the training room, which is a large, white dome with hexagonal patterns on the walls of it. Kokoro was throwing fireballs and explosives at Kqidons, who is... Actually doing a pretty good job at dodging them. Perhaps what she said about getting training from the best Vagrok warrior is true?

"OK, it seems you're pretty good at this..." She said, thinking aloud. "Good thing I practised so I'm not 100% useless around this place... Here goes!" She proceeded to generate a big ball of fire in her phantasmal hand and soon made an explosion in the core of it - several fireballs splitting from that now exploded big fireball. In other words, a fireball machine gun.

Using her arsenal of Vagrok tech, she quickly places down a device that generated a force-shield. Knowing that the shield won't hold off the fireballs forever, she quickly activates her camouflage by pressing a button on her gauntlet, which really just turns her invisible. The barrage of fireballs eventually broke through the shield. After the smoke cleared, Kokoro notices that the Vagrok is nowhere to be seen.

Kokoro noticed Kqidons is indeed nowhere to be seen. So, as a counter measure, she lights the surfaces up with explosions, practically guaranteeing a hit - if not forcing her to move in a manner that would reveal where Kqidons was.

Kqidons, still using her invisibility cloak, climbs up to the roof of the training room and places down a compact forcefield around her to shield her from the explosions. However, after the explosions cleared, Kokoro sees the forcefield on the roof, correctly assuming that Kqidons is in it.

Kokoro smiled and phased through the floor, soon re-appearing in the force field from above and emitting large fire waves from inside the shield, presumably damaging both the shield 'and' Kqidons if the latter is there. Kokoro was just hoping all this practice was worth it, and that several years of being dead were worth it. "How are you holding up?" She said, after finishing with the fire waves.

The fire Kokoro generated inside Kqidon's forcefield destroyed the device and sends Kqidons flying to the ground. Yet, she still seems unfazed. "Alright. Just some second and possible third-degree burns. Nothing a Vagrok like me can't handle." Kqidons nonchalantly responded. She then gets back up, reactivates her blade gauntlets, and charges towards Kokoro, getting ready to get another face full of flames.

Back with Ma'arz and Hamele, the Martian suddenly remembers something
"Hey, this reminds me! I wanna show you something in my lab!" Ma'arz said.

"Something in your lab? What might that be?" Hamele asked curiously. She hadn't the slightest clue what Ma'arz wants to show her, if anything at all.

"Follow me!" Ma'arz said, instinctively grabbing her hand and dragging her to his lab. Sounds like he created something he's really proud of.

Hamele was startled, but having no real reason to say 'no, get off', just went with it and followed along, curious as to what he is on about. Very curious indeed.

Talia finished changing, her black and purple outfit slightly glowing.

\\ pretend the pink is purple \\

She walked onto the training deck to see Kqidons and Kokoro duking it out, until Kqidons went invisible. She followed the smokes movement, knowing that she was running, and saw it on the roof, before she turned and walked out, just in time to hear Ma’arz ask the others to follow.

After leading her to his lab, he grabs what seems to be a regular blue and red raygun and shows it to her. "Ta-daaaa!" Ma'arz shouted. "I've made an inverter-ray!"

"An... inverter-ray? I'll bite. What's it do?" She asked, not a single darn clue.

"It'll take a lot of scientific explanation, so to put it bluntly, this device can turn things completely inside-out," Ma'arz said before pointing the device at Hamele. "Wanna help me test it out?" He jokingly asked.

Hamele froze, maybe taking it too seriously. "Are you insane?! That would kill me! No!" That warranted a forceful slap across the face. She had no idea Ma'arz was joking. "I mean, maybe it's better to 'not' use on someone in your darn team?"

Luckily, the glass helmet that supplied him with breathable nitrogen protected him from harm. But still. "Hey, I was kidding! Jeez!" Ma'arz said. "I'm not that insane!"

"Sorry, sorry... I, uh... still can't look past that." Hamele frowned, sighing. "It's hard to tell jokes from seriousness in a time and space where every little thing out line can warrant better or worse outcomes. I wish I could joke around too, but then... What would happen then?" Welcome back to Hamele's worrying.

"Uhh... Hey, how about we SAFELY test the Inverter-Ray, eh?" Ma'arz asked before pointing to a random can of soda. "Can you hand me that carbonated drink over there?"

Hamele went and grabbed it, smiling. "Catch!" She threw it at Ma'arz, not only as a joke, but as a test of reaction time and aiming. Shooting a fast, moving target in the air. Fun!

Ma'arz quickly steps out of the way, causing the can of soda to hit the wall. Miraculously, the can didn't burst. "Be careful, Hamele! I don't want my glass dome to crack! Plus, I really can't breathe oxygen!" Ma'arz said to Hamele, angry.

"S-Sorry! Geez! Now I see why I 'don't' joke around!" Hamele pouted. Things were 'not' going her way at all right now. She went and picked up the can - again, and then actually put it closer. "There."

Ma'arz grabs the can, points the Inverter-Ray at it, and fires it. The device worked just as intended, causing the aluminum outer shell to be inside and the brown carbonated liquid to be outside. Realistically, the liquid falls down to the ground.

“Wait.” Talia said, her voice sounding suprised. “Martians can’t breath oxygen? Huh.”

Talia stepped away from the sticky substance, not wanting her shoe boosters to get fried. Her shoes had speed boosters, but if they got wet, could electrocute her whole suit, or just fizz out. It was a gamble.

"...Darn. That is pretty impressive..." Hamele commented, whistling. "...That could make for quite a few fun solutions and moments..."
