He watches his pad fly, and they see his purple eye turn red with rage. He pushes more doctors hands away, and rolls off of the table. He gets up, and draws a knife from his cloak, activates the plasma battery, and points it at the doctors. Since he doesn't have his pad, he can't relay his warning to them. He won't kill, but he's perfectly fine with paralyzing them.
The doctors stand back, thinking that Lux could outright kill them if they get too close.
“Let me do it.” Talia said matter of factly. She knew Lux better than the doctors (except maybe Hamele) and Lux had let her inject his own serums into him before. It made more sense to her. “If y’all are cool with that.” She had her arms crossed, and seemed to be leaning against the wall calmly.
“Yes, that would be lovely, Lunarim.” The doctor responded, relieved. “Just please do be careful.”

Talia nodded to the doctors, grabbed the needle, and approached Lux. Not even carefully, she just..... walked up to him. As if she had full confidence that he wouldn’t hurt her. In reality, she didn’t know what he was gonna do, And was pretty nervous. She didn’t like the look of that knife. But if you act like you know what your doing, most people would accept it. She twirled the needle between her fingers, and placed a hand on her hip. She moved her hand, in a ‘gimme’ motion, and gestures to his arm.

“It’s just me. You know I’m not gonna hurt you.” She said calmly, her voice even as she gave him a sort of dead pan stare. It was hard to read eyes when her eyes were pure black.

He glares at her, and the doctors, switching between them with his gaze. But Talia’s presence calms him somewhat. His red eye starts to slowly fade back into purple. He mimes writing something, trying to relay that he wants his pad back.

He deactivates his plasma battery, but keeps the knife in his hand.

Talia grins a little, but there’s not much emotion behind it besides amusement. She hands him the pad from where it was connected to her belt, and placed her free hand back on her hip, the one holding the needle still twirling.

He writes quickly, “You only get two drops of my blood. Anything more, and I won’t be happy. If you really need more, floor of the ship has some” and shows Talia the pad. He puts the pad in his cloak after showing her, then gives her his free scarred hand.

Talia turned back to the doctors momentarily, and asked if two drops is enough.

“He said only two drops. He keeps referring to the blood on the ship, but two drops of fresh blood may be all I can get from him. Is that enough?” She wasn’t sure if she was willing to betray Lux’s trust or not. She knew she could get more if she needed, but she didn’t really want to unless it was necessary. She really really hoped it wasn’t necessary.

Talia nodded in conformation, honestly relived. She turned back to Lux, and grabbed the back of his hand lightly. She pulled it toward her a little, making sure the contact was minimal, and gently placed the needle into his skin. She drew two drops, nothing more, and definitely nothing less, with narrowed eyes but an otherwise blank expression.

Once she was done, which was very shortly afterwards, considering it was so little, she pulled it out and handed it back to the doctors, pushing some hair from her face.

“There. Happy?” She said it with heavy sarcasm, (or maybe it was a genuine question?) before going back to leaning against the door way. She really was surprised Lux hadn’t stabbed her or something. I mean, she would’ve hit him with her staff in return, but still.

Lux does nothing but watch the doctors, then grabs his pad again. "There. you have your blood. I'm leaving." He writes and shows it to the doctors. He puts his pad away yet again, and turns to go to his quarters, ignoring anyone who would try to call him back.

"Hey-hey-HEY!! You need your transfusion!" The frustrated doctor yelled to Lux. Of course, he just ignored him and continues on to his quarters. "Someone get security. That boy's gonna get his blood transfusion, whether he'll like it or not!" The doctor continued. The other doctor then grabs the blood sample from Talia. "In the meantime, we can now identify what bloodtype he is. Thank you for your help, Lunarim." The other doctor said to Talia.

“Names Talia. And don’t bother trying to get Lux a transfusion. He’s pissed, and you forcing it will do more harm than good. Although, i can’t order you around. I’m not in charge.” As I am continually self reminded. She thought to herself. She was about to head back to her room, before she realized that she still needed to talk to the captain about Rewby. She was about to walk out, but turned to the doctors.

“I’m..... a little lost. Where is the captains deck?”

“I would recommend you to go to the flagship’s bridge, but security is a little strict on that specific area.” The doctor told Talia before shrugging. “I guess it’s because of some sort of mutiny incident?”

Talia laughed slightly, but shook her head no. She would hardly consider even for a moment Rewby’s application ‘Mutiny’.

“Hardly. Trust me, no one on this ship would dream of going against the captain. Not even myself.” Talia may have had her moment while watching her people die, her one moment of taking no instructions. But something about the captain made her extremely reluctant to go against orders.

Talia, with that said, turned to head to the bridge, and searched around the ship, looking for big doors with (probably) tons of guards and hand signature clearance. At least that’s what she assumed.

She eventually found her way to the entrance to the flagship bridge, which was only a gate guarded by two heavily-armed Human soldiers. As she approached the entrance, the guards stand alert and blocked her way. “Halt. We will need to see clearance.” The guards said.

Talia raised an eyebrow at them.

“Uh, do I need a card or something? Cause all I really need is to talk to the Cap’n about an application.” She crossed her arms over chest, and tapped her foot. She racked her brain, trying to remember anything about certain clearance needed to enter the bridge.

“I mean, if it makes you feel better, you can point your gun at my head and escort me in, but I have a feeling we both know that’s pretty useless.” Talia had pretty heavy sarcasm in her voice, and a slight smirk.

One guard sighed at her sarcasm. However, the other kept his cool. “If you do not have clearance, then I’m afraid you’ll have to wait for the captain to leave.” The guard said to Talia. Just then, the entryway opens up, giving Talia a brief look at the inside of the bridge; it was certainly a large room, filled with several computers and tracking systems, with Human professionals at their work stations. Susan leaves the bridge, with the guards saluting to the captain, where she is surprised to see Talia waiting for her. “Oh, hello, Talia. Anything you need from me?” She asked.

Talia smiled as the captain came out of her room, and nodded as an answer.

“Yes, actually. I wanted to talk to you about Rewby. The alien who wanted to be a part of the crew?” Talia looked at the captian expectantly, waiting for an answer. Maybe she hadn’t got an application yet, or maybe she had.

Susan slightly leans her head away from Talia, surprised that she asked such a simple question. “How did you know, Talia?” She asked.

Talia smirked, and decided to mess with Susan for a moment.

“Oh, you know, I’m in almost every file on this ship. I know just about everything.” She said nonchalantly, placing her hands on her hips and smiling. Then she laughed a little, and rolled her eyes.

“Just kidding. She was the roommate I got during our time in their fleet. She’s excellent with robotics. I came in and she was tinkering with something. She was really nice too. Gave me Mc Donald’s.”

Not wanting to answer Talia’s question, for some reason, she tries to walk past her. “Rewby’s application is none of your concern.” She simply said. This only rose Talia’s concern the second Susan said that.

Talia narrowed her eyes. Avoiding the topic, no eye contact, trying to push away, and using authority to her advantage. Susan was definitely hiding something.

“Maybe it’s not.” She said calmly, before moving in front of Susan. “Or maybe you just don’t want to tell me something. So, what, dear Captian, are you scared of telling me?” She planted her feet, directly in Susan’s way. She wasn’t gonna fight her, she just didn’t like being kept in the dark. Literally or figuratively.

Susan stood back a little, surprised that Talia is standing in her way. But, at the same time, isn’t willing to give up a fight. “Most people prefer to keep secrets, Talia. Why should mine be any different?” Susan sternly asked Talia.

Talia has a determined look come over her face. Being the Rebel was in her nature. Besides, she wanted to know if Rewby was coming along.

“Because secrets don’t ussualy exclude friends from the picture. I am Rewby’s friend, whether I am yours or not is irrelevant. I would like to know if I can expect her on the ship.” Talia was slightly snarling. Not in a threading way, just as if she was annoyed.

The two guards behind Susan were getting ready to intervene. However, Susan quickly showed them her palm. “Do not intervene, officers. You will go back to your positions.” She said to them. They nod and went back to their positions, guarding the bridge entryway. Susan then turns back to Talia. “Very well, Talia. I will tell you, if it means getting you off my back.” She sternly responded, reluctant to give her her secret. “Rewby did give me her resume and portfolio. Despite it all, however, I have little intention to give her a position in the fleet as engineer.” She finally responded to Talia’s question. However, it isn’t a really good answer...

Talia straightened up, and tilted her head. She looked taken aback, and sorta confused.

“I’m sorry, what? Why wouldn’t you? She’s perfectly capable of the job, I’ve seen her work. Only a little, but still.” She crossed her arms stubbornly, and leaned back a bit.
