Hamele seemed confused herself. "Wait - so you want to sell off the captain here just to gain access to plasma weapons? There a 'lot' easier ways to get your hands on that stuff!" She retorted, notably ticked off. Bowe just backed the heck away, step by step into the background like 'I don't want to deal with this right now' and wearing a look of worry and fear on her face - if we're talking expressions.

"...Me and my mouth..." Hamele said silently, facepalming. Bowe heard the word 'hostage' and just sat there shaking like 'NOT AGAIN'. She didn't say a word, but memories of her previous capture are still coming back. After a while, she stopped and just went silent and motionless for a while before finally speaking up. "...What do you get out of this anyway?" Bowe challenged, sounding somewhat angry.

Lux is quite interested in these events unfolding. He keeps his cloak wrapped around himself, as his knives have plasma batteries on them. He wonders whether he should hand them over to their captors, or play the long game, and keep his knives. He heard the anger in Bowe's voice, and he went over to her, standing next to her while glaring menacingly at their captors.

//TLDR: Everyone is currently captured on a ship. That's the short version. No escape is defined right now, just stick around and stay a while.

"A much bigger chance to take down the Krystalline Kingdom and reclaim our home planet that the Krystalline conquered, little Human." Captain Goldbeard responded. "After we get the necessary weapons, we'll let you all go as promised. You have my solemn word." Susan then proceeds to turn her attention to the Serapis captain. "Captain Goldbeard, I insist that you reconsider your plans. Have you heard of the Neutrality Act?" Susan asked. "Can't say that I have, Spearson. What is it?" "The Neutrality Act is a law established by the Galactic Alliance that forbids a species member from entering a foreign war unless one of the factions of the foreign war attacks a species member of the Alliance, giving the species member an opportunity to strike back and join that war," Susan explains. "You go along with your plans, you risk giving the Human race an opportunity to enter the Serapis/Krystalline War against your favor."

Hamele hears this and nods. "Right. So, if someone higher up is of the species you wish to fight back against, you'll be dealing with them as well. And with their passing, most likely what's going to happen, who knows what the consequences will be." Hamele said, thinking aloud. Bowe leapt up onto her two feet, seeming interested.

Lux whispers into Bowe's ear. "Tell them...I can make...weapons" he gets out. He is willing to sacrifice himself for the others to go back, and he can make plasma weaponry. he's done it before, and he can do it again. He can also escape when he has the chance to.

Bowe heard this and began to respond. "But - what will happen to you...?" She whispered, shaking her head. "Not gonna leave friend behind in practical captivity - long or shot term. Not today. But if you still insist..." She sighed and tried to divert attention.

Bowe nods in understanding, and of course, tries to get attention. All she had to do with said attention was put Lux on the line, given he's agreed to it already, and it should all go nicely.

"Aye. But if we Serapis pirates can last three years runnin' from the Krystallines in guerrilla warfare, then fightin' a buncha flesh bags won't be a problem. Er, no offense." Goldbeard explains.

Susan turns to Ailema again. "Ailema Trahrae, please. This isn't you." Susan tries to tell Ailema. "You're saying my name wrong, Miss Spearson. It's Naidraud. Get it right." Ailema 'Naidraud' Trahrae then leaves the room, where Susan gives Goldbeard a menacing glare. "What?" Goldbeard asked.

Hamele looked puzzled as heck, just scratching her head in confusion. What a turn of events, eh?

Lux is also kind of confused. Then again, the wreckage seemed pretty severe...but what if this new name that everyone just heard is true?

Talia has kept her head down the whole time, absolutely refusing to speak or even look at her captors other than some glares. When she finally does look up, a massive grin is plastered on her face.

“Oooohhhhh your gonna be in trooubleeee.” She whispered in a singsong voice, giggling a little. She relized that Amilea had either been brainwashed or had Amniesia, and if theses pirates held them all captive, in total that was about four races he was about to force against himself. Even if Lux did help, rather than the pirates holding a ransom, when the freakazoid species figured out that their friend was here, they probably wouldn’t take to kindly to the fact.

"Why, in fresh hell, would you brainwash one of the most iconic Freakazoid celebrities?!" Susan demanded. "Brainwash? We don't have the technology to do that." Goldbeard said. "We just simply found her amnestic from that asteroid crash." "And you took advantage of that?" "Who doesn't? Listen, Cap'n. I understand your intentions, but it's really nothing personal. It's just revenge." Goldbeard then leaves the crew in their cell, while Susan still glared at the captain.

"Revenge? Taking advantage of amnesia? OK, I'm sold, where's the exit."Hamele did 'not' like this at all. Bowe rolled up towards the bars, her weapon in hand. She's debating if to saw a hole in and free herself so she can do a bit of spying, but if she does, heck knows what'll happen to her if she's caught.

Hamele looked to it. "Ah, I think I know what that is. If I recall, that's a Chess board, a strategy board game. It's complicated, but as far as my knowledge on the past goes, previous war commanders played Chess to practice their strategic senses." She said, smiling. "It's a lot harder than it looks..."

"Hmm... Practice their strategic sense..." Kqidons said to herself, interested in the concept. "Would you mind telling me about the rules?" "That will have to wait," Susan said, approaching Hamele. "Doctor Hamele. Can your healing staff repair the amnestic brain damage done to Ailema?"

"I'm afraid I don't know... It can heal wounds and cure diseases, but mental damage is another tier altogether... I don't know if it can, but it 'might' work given how it's possible it would fall under some kind of wound." Hamele shrugged, unsure of the answer. Even she does not know her own staff's capabilities through and through when it comes to specific details...
