Fandom Fate/Millennium End

What's the status of the RP as of now?

We're in a bit of a holding pattern at the moment.

2 of the members who had asked for slots haven't submitted their characters and haven't responded when I've asked them if they still plan on doing so so it's safe to assume they're out.

However I did just get a new submission from a new member and I think that while we don't have enough for the apocryha style war we do have enough for a standard 7 way free for all. I'm gonna wait another day or 2 and if we don't have any new interest I'll run it by everyone here and see about just doing it that way instead.

Can I stay as Berserker?

If it's quite alright, I'd like to sit in and see what and where this rp is going. I'd also like to apply for Saber of Black, if that's alright.

Alright! So! After spending the last week slacking o- I mean giving u- I mean aggressively studying various Fate/media I think I may have found some possible solutions to our current problem.

So as you all probably already know we're having some trouble filling out all 14 slots for our war, that being said we are getting close as all we need now, counting simj, is a saber for red and a caster for both sides. So if we want we can continue waiting to see if those slots fill in and go from there.

However given how long this is taking I wouldn't be against it if we wanted to try a different route, and with that in mind here are some alternatives I've found:

1. The classic Fate/stay night style war: Again counting Simj and myself we now have 7 individual players. If we want I would ask that everyone choose the favorite of their two servants and we could go ahead in the sort of 7-way free for all style that most grail wars take place in.

2. The Moon Cell wars from Fate/Extella: Fate/Extella is the Fate/series answer to the dynasty warriors games and so it lifts pretty much all the restrictions on how many servants there can be, how many there can be of each class and even gets rid of the whole master/servant thing since its the moon itself doing the summoning (it makes sense in context) this would allow us to take off a lot of the restrictions that are inherent to the setting and just focus on Servant on Servant combat without having to limit our numbers.

3. Grand orders from Fate/Grand order: Similar to Extella, the phone game Fate/GO removes a lot of the restrictions inherent to the setting and is more of a cooperative experience over all. Fate/GO focuses on teams of masters and servants working for the organization Chaldea as they go back in time to correct various magical anomalies from changing history and causing mankind's extinction, usually by fighting a mixed-bag of monsters and corrupted servants. Like Extella there is no limit on how many servants there can be or the number of each class.

If any of these sound interesting to you guys, just let me know. If not we'll just keep doing what we're doing.

Personally, I'm fine with waiting, especially since my internet will be spotty at best for the next week or so.

Both my servants and masters are more interesting as a pair, so a regular grail war doesn't appeal. I'm not really a fan of the weird lore and tournament style of the extraverse, and it doesn't really fit with my master characters.

Grand Order could be interesting, but there's a lot of different ways it could be done as an RP, so I'd need to know more about your ideas before agreeing.

Imma see if I can invite anyone else. I say we give it a few more days and if it doesn't work we could go with the standard war

well, Balfnaught1 Balfnaught1 asked and I'm interested. I mean I really don't know too much Fate lore, but I seen and read quite a bit.
SAIGO-NO-HEATS SAIGO-NO-HEATS

Admittedly the setting is a bit complex but I'm willing to answer any questions you might have.

I'd recommend making a character for either caster or Saber of red and if you need any help just ask me or balfnaught and I'm sure one of us can provide answers or examples as needed.

With starting school and moving happening this week I kind of let this RP slip to the back of my mind. Apologies if I made people wait so long.

I am still interested in joining however since someone else showed interest in Saber perhaps I could take Caster instead?
