Magic Resistance (On varying levels) - -0.5 to roll
-0.5 rolls for modern magic related rps. I could see how this'd work and I might implement it, but It'd require every rper who plays a Servant to give their character a level resistance to make it fair. Oh the math I'd have to do for each character e.e

No. But I did limit NP to 3 uses per battle...so think of that as ur prana supply if you will. However, for caster, magic attacks should be his main offense since he has +2 magic.

And you'd only need Magic Resist values for the Knight classes and Rider, if you do do it.

Nope. I'm willing to add magic resistance, but I won't descriminate classes during the dice rolls. I want all classes to have at least a decently fair chance at winning this war:)

Just so you know...I took Magic resistance out of the rp. I didn't want to have to work a system for that cause there's so many different levels of magic resistance. I just stuck a -2 dice roll for all Servants vs Master confrontations, decreasing the likelihood of magecraft working against Servants. However, if your char has modern magecraft immunity, I'm gonna have to go back and give all char's with really high magical resistance modern magecraft immunity as well...

Oh the Ploy resistance isn't magic resistance. Servant magic resistance negates things that are below a certain chant rate. For example, D rank magic resistance negates magic cast by one count, or a single phrase.


Ploys are creatures that enforce fantasy onto reality, and anything that isn't within their fantasy realm just doesn't work against them. Its not magic resistance but rather just a flat out immunity to it like how fish are immune to drowning and such. A natural defense inherent to their existence. No servant should have anything like Ploy resistance unless you summon Nursery Rhyme who can create fairy tale creatures, since this specific type of defense is completely and utterly unique to fairy tale creatures.

Oh, btw guys. Please keep the mechanics thread on watch. I'll be updating every once and a while...when I'm hit with a brilliant idea or if someone comes up with good suggestions for the rp's battle mechanics:)


 
I am happy to announce that we have both master and servant spots full xD


Once everyone's posted their cs, we will begin the master-servant pairing.
