Fate/Cross

Oh, I see. So to beat a ploy u need to know it's weakness in the fairytale world-even if it's modern technology(like an oven). How would anyone beat Jabberwocky? I don't think any of the characters can pull the Vorpal Sword out...except for maybe Vishnu.
What define's modern magic and pure magic in ur mind?
The nameless hero had armor right? You can craft armor based off of that and sling it at Jabberwocky to kill it. Gotta get creative to start winning against fairy tales. Ploys basically have a conceptual barrier around them that makes anything that tries to harm them fizzle out of existence if they don't recognize it as it being from their world. Anything from bullets to fireballs are negated if they aren't from the fairy tale world. Magecraft from before ploys might be able to effect them, but I don't think any family except the Bartholomei have such a long standing family.

The easiest way is to just throw magic missiles at them until they explode, and anyone can make magic missiles.

NVM about the pure magic def...i got it:P

Alrighty^^

I'm starting to really like ur character...what about Servant attacks?

I mean would a regular attack from assassin take out ploy?

Servants that are older than the ploys would be able to harm them. The ploys are from the Age of Gods, so Diomedes or Sharur would be applicable. Our resident assassin gunslinger however, would not be.

@FewUtherClockKlik Very well, because I think ur char's really interesting she is re-accepted:)

Just so you know...I took Magic resistance out of the rp. I didn't want to have to work a system for that cause there's so many different levels of magic resistance. I just stuck a -2 dice roll for all Servants vs Master confrontations, decreasing the likelihood of magecraft working against Servants. However, if your char has modern magecraft immunity, I'm gonna have to go back and give all char's with really high magical resistance modern magecraft immunity as well...

[QUOTE="Hungry Hungry Hobo]Looks like I'll have to amp up Assassin after all. xD I'll try to get it done before Friday when the doubles slots open.

You are certainly welcome too, tho you don't have to. Like I said, the dice rules all.

This is my first Fate rp ever, and I've never watched an episode so I walked into this unprepared. I get that there's the dice rules, and that simplifies combat a lot, but people have been putting a lot of effort into their servants. For Assassin to possibly beat some of them because of lucky rolls over actually being competitive lore-wise (kind of important since we're all here for the writing anyways) leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Besides if she's more on par it should be more fun for everyone too. I'll go put my thinking cap on, and get back to you on it, QuirkyAngel. If anyone else has suggestions I'm all ears.

Well, the church npcs will call upon the aid of Good masters and Good Servants to contain this evil Servant/Master for the safety of the world(at the very least Vishnu will probably help).
You won't even need to ask.

Well, I was planning for it to be Anti-Divine/World that will trap two into a 1v1 where lancer would have great advantage for she would have five of her, each one representing one of the five holy wounds.

I could see Anti-Divine, but how Anti-World?

If you've survived long enough all of them will be obligated to use Giver of the Last Holy Wound to end Ground of Calvary. At the same time. So that's 5 EX ranked Anti-Fortress NPs being fired. How is that not Anti-World?

Good point...

Are there requirements for using this skill? And you ARE aware you're probably going to die in the first five pages because Lancer.

Caster Fourth was busy trying to save Jeannu and was rather loopy. Medea was infatuated with her Master.

Apocrypha Casters both are awesome (Looking at you, Shakespeare) and Extra Casters are great too.

Pretty sure Strange Fake had a good Caster too.

DO ET

MOEBLOBS ARE REQUIRED.

Also, do you think we'll need to worry about running out of Prana D:

ROLL THE DICE TO TAKE OFF PANTSU~
