Fate/Cross

@Metaphysics

He just had the hots for Saber Arturia not the Saber Class itself. I doubt he'd want a mortal anyway... Specially one who is originally a man.

Do u guys have any idea how many modifiers I have to keep track of?

Sure. If you rp her finding all three pieces(as part of her rp plot), she'll join Gil + Vishnu in getting +1 all dice rolls :)

Hey guys, just wanna clarify a couple of points before any battling begins, because I realized some of this I've not explained:

1. We'll be using a 7 face dice for all rolls.

3. There are currently five types of dice introduced: offense dice(attack-includes dodging, magic, marksman), defense dice, hunter dice, escape dice, and miracle dice.

2. Whenever u want to battle with a character(s) you have to first rp searching for that character. Two hunter dice will then be rolled(hunter and huntee). If the hunter succeeds, he/she finds the character and gets a surprise attack bonus(u may choose to forgo this if you want i.e. ur char is the noble type who challenges upfront). In the event that both chars are searching for each other both of you will automatically find each other but the higher number get a suprise attack bonus.

3. Defense dice is only reserved for Servants. If Servant char chooses to attack a master char that master's servant must roll a defense dice in order to defend master-if dice is lower servant will take dmg instead of master. Servants may simply choose to forgo defending their master and go on the offense, leaving master to defend themselves(depending on how strong the master is it might be ok).

4. I'll be rolling all dice and adding/subtracting necessary modifiers, however, there's a possibility I might miss a bonus or misinterpret what your character was trying to do. If that ever happens, please tell me and I'll make the appropriate changes.

5. Ask any and all questions you may have because while I have the battle mechanics in my mind, I'm crap when it comes to explaining it all down.

Sorry, can u clarify what pathfinder does again?

Oh, Wayfinder...it may have a +2 on hunter dice:)

But u have to rp using wayfinder^^

If you roleplay a believable justification as to why two characters might be in close proximity, is it possible to engage without hunter dice? I imagine every single encounter will not be the product of a search roll...

Though I guess that begs the question of knowing who is a master. I suppose my question should be qualified by - assuming that circumstances have revealed a master's identity.

If neither characters are hidden, then yes^^

Gilgamesh for example as refused the hunter dice since he doesn't believe anyone can beat him:P

Masters can meet one another at the same school, etc.

@Hadeonfire

Just a friendly warning...you've got until 4:35pm RPN time to post before ur turn is skipped.

Supposedly, Masters can't sense other Masters or Servants without use of a proper Boundary Field. I imagine there are other ways of searching for a Master/Servant but involve specialized spells (like Wayfinder) or superior tracking skills (like those of the Assassin Class). That's why Rin and Archer go on recon missions so often in Fuyuki.

@Metaphysics

As in... The Wizard of Oz?

Haha yeah,

But since Meta mentioned that he'd dreamed about Oz being caster, I think ur right. He's referring to wizard Oz

...for some reason the first oz I always think about is from Pandora hearts xD

It's kind of like me with King Arthur, the first person that pops up isn't the male version... It's Arturia xD

Why would Gilgamesh not have any weapons barring those of otherworldly origin?
Wasn't sure. IIRC he doesn't have anything of Karna's, something about them 'never being seen by eyes' or something like that.

Rather than him not having Shakti its because he doesn't know if he has a corresponding treasure due to Karna not having used it in legend although Karna did use it on legend to kill a Rakshasha but yeah lolNasu.
