sure :)

Oh, speaking of dice rolls, there's already parameter system in Fate (STR/END/AGI/MAG/LCK ). Have you thought about integrating that somehow, QuirkyAngel?

I could try...but it'd probably be complicated, so I'd rather not. I'd have to think of so many parameters for each Servant and take that all into account during a battle. For now, I think simplicity is better--highest number wins. Rather than so many parameters, I've simply given each character little bonuses for certain situations in an rp. Chars like saber and lancer are better at close range combat so they get +2 if they rp a melee fight. Assassin gets +2 when trying to find/spy on a other Servants/Masters, etc. Not to mention the bonuses I plan on giving to noble phantasms. This is my first time doing a battle system so I don't want to make it more complicated on myself than I have to. Plus the more parameters I add to the battles, the less the dice influences the game and the more it becomes about stats. I don't really want that.

Of course, this is just a test run:)

I wanna see how well this rp turns out with my simple system. If I don't like how it's going, I can always change my mind.

Fate runs on quite a few dice mechanics already you see, so I was wondering whether you would let canon roll mechanics stay. For example, Iskandar and his bull charge makes 8 rolls to chance for critical damage on each roll.

Lancelot doubles the chance of beneficial rolls with Arondight and so on.

Canon roll mechanics? Is there a dice roll system in the Fate games?

But yes, I'd let them stay with maybe some modifications.

My character doesn't fit in dice rolls as well as a canon character sadly.
You can switch if you'd like, but I already thought of some fun dice roll mechanics that I thought would be interesting for him^^

I see, what kind of roll mechanics were you thinking of?I couldn't see how roll mechanics really worked with someone that prepared for a load of time making machines in a territory and then swarming opponents.

-All magic items he enhances become magical item and gets a +2 magic for power because he's a caster class. The effect remains even after given to someone else.

-When he summons his library, he rolls a dice for the size of his library. It boosts his enhanced/created items if created in library

1/2=small library, +1 magic(in addition to his natural +2)

3/4=medium library, +2 magic

5/6=large library, +3 magic.

-When he creates a robot/mech he rolls 2 dices: one for HP and one for power.

HP dice 1/2=1hp

HP dice 3/4=2hp

HP dice 5/6=3hp

Power dice 1/2= attack is always a six sided dice(including any additional magic).

Power dice 3/4=attack is always a 8-sided dice().

Power dice 5/6=attack is always a ten-sided dice()

I'm not sure what kind of magic my kid should have. I don't want to have something too OP... Justice-sama isn't answering me...

If you're unfamiliar with the series like I am, I've found this to be really helpful as far as general skills go. If you mean like a noble phantasm, then that's something iconic to your servant's identity. Well, assuming you're making a servant.

http://typemoon.wikia.com/wiki/Skill
I've come up with a couple of noble phantasms for my servant, but I'm talking about the magic ability for my master.

Wait, my servant application isn't going to be valid since someone earlier asked to be a saber... so all my research was useless. What roles are available...?

(mumbles to self, kicking a wall)

What do you mean pitch ideas? It doesn't matter anyway, I have to make up a whole different sheet now. And Justice-sama is as useless as ever..

I meant pitch ideas about magic for your master? If you even have any, anyways. That way you'll know if they're acceptable or not.

As for open roles.. It's in the IC tab. Applying for the assassin servant myself. The caster and saber slots may flip though depending on what QuirkyAngel and Proxy do.

Saber-open

Archer-reserved

Lancer-Saint Longius

Berserker-Diomedes

Caster-Hero of Alexandria

Rider-reserved

Assassin-open

Well I wanted to make a saber but someone already asked for it. Also Justice-sama said I could change my saber character into an archer, but from what you say, Archer is taken too. I don't want to make an assassin because I'm not too prone to stealth-type characters... plus, you're already making an assassin so that's useless anyway... :(

JusticeSword is actually the one reserving archer, if that's who 'Justice-sama' is. If that's the case, have him tell QuirkyAngel to hold the reservation for archer for you instead?

Don't know why he told you to play an archer then if he's sticking around. The rules said only one servant of each class will be allowed? In any case you can still play a master, or as an 'other character' supporting one of the masters, maybe.

Another idea is asking QuirkyAngel if you can play one of the church members? Sort of like a referee or a policing force of the war.

What do you mean 'what master positions?' There are just five positions currently available. Pairings haven't been decided yet to my knowledge.

Oh cool! Well, I have a master sheet in progress already. I just need a magic ability and it'll be done.

I finished the sheet. Should be able to post it as soon as it's revised.

I'll need to offer a sacrifice if I'm going to summon QuirkyAngel... I already have plenty of virgin blood to immerse the offering. Ring of candles, check... Incantation, check... let's see, what kind of things does QuirkyAngel like? I'll need a meaningful offering if I'm going to complete the summoning...
