Xiao Gunying was born to a minor mage family in Hong Kong, China. Her mother died in child birth and her father was arrested on antigovernmental charges, leaving Xiao to be placed in a state run orphanage. By the time she was ten, she was singled out by the donors of the orphanage, the Wo Shing Wo Triad. Though she wasn't the only girl taken from the orphanage under the guise of adoption, her magical lineage kept her from meeting the same fate as the others. Instead, she was given a life of luxury by her adoptive father, one of the organizations Deputy Mountain Masters. Academically, she had suffered without any schooling outside of basic arithmetic and some simple language classes.

Instead, her life was centered around her magical abilities. A strict regiment of martial arts, strength training and gunplay became the focus of her life. Inducted into the triad at the age of 18, she was brought in as a Red Pole (Enforcer) and given a small group of other mages to oversee. Still serving the Wo Shing Wo, she has made a name for herself in the Hong Kong underbelly as a ruthless murderer with an indelible moral code. She kills quickly, with efficiency and rarely requiring a second strike. The ehwaz ruins in her gloves and shoes give her the ability to punch, or kick, a man's head clear off his shoulders.

Most recently, the Wo Shing Wo has begun a minor war against the Holy Church, viewing its activities in the Triads territory as taxable. For this reason, Xiao has most recently been dispatched to enforce the Triad's laws. Though, this was in fact a suicide mission by an over eager Deputy Mountain Master who didn't wait for permission from the local Mountain Master, Xiao still succeeded. In doing so, she ended the life of a Church Executor, drastically escalating the tension between the two groups. For this reason, she has been placed on 'administrative' leave. The choice to partake in the Grail War was her own.

As a person, she is distant but not cold. She treats every situation as a stand off, ready to spring into action despite her calm demeanor. Her code of morals and personality are almost inseparable. She cares little for the Wo Shing Wo's criminal activities, she instead see's herself as a leash for its more verbose members. As terrifying as she is for those attempting to intrude on the Wo Shing Wo's territory, regular members and even other Red Poles know not to do anything unsavory in her presence. She cannot stand to see the down trodden and will do what she can to assist the weak and broken.

Personality
Despite the classical interpretation of snakes, Benzaiten is more often associated with a benevolent protector then a pest or dangerous creature. As the once protector of the nation when she was first introduced to Japan, she still holds herself as being a guardian of people, especially children and those who ply the water ways. She is exceptionally mirthful and cheery, though she still maintains an allure in the mystique of her divine nature. Humans are often rather taken with her due to both her natural beauty and mystery that surrounds her.

As a serpent, she has a natural fascination with warm things and can be easily describes as being physically cold, as in her body feels likes made of freezing ice. In combat and out of it, she makes sure to keep a somewhat aloof air around those she recognizes as her enemies. Though, her position as a Goddess of wealth causes her to also be overtly interested in the relics her opponents carry. There is also the fact that she takes her divinity very seriously, refusing to cooperate with anyone who outright denies her position as a Goddess. With those she likes she becomes a busy-body, wanting to know everything about them and especially trying to pry into their love lives.

Lastly is the most detrimental part of her personality, her inability to forgive a slight. Once the air between herself and someone else has turned sour, next to nothing will be able to resolve it. On the opposite side is a somewhat naïve nature when it comes to those she cares about. She has a tendency to offer the benefit of the doubt, even if utterly convincing evidence is laid before her.


Biography
Benzaiten is a Japanese water goddess of fertility and flow—of rivers and waters, language and poetry, music, dance, and abundant wealth and good fortune. Benzaiten is the only female figure within “The Seven Lucky Gods” (known as the Shichi Fukujin) of Japanese Shintōism, and most often appears with a white snake as her headdress. Dragons and serpents are her messengers and avatars, and she herself can appear as a white snake. Benzaiten is one of Japan’s most widely venerated deities.

In Shintō, snakes are considered as a minor type of Dragon and share many of the mythological traits of that creature. As in Chinese mythology, Japanese dragons are associated with water (especially rivers) and although they are powerful and potentially frightening, Chinese and Japanese traditions honor them as benevolent, just, and wise. Dragons and snakes are the bearers and guardians of the sacred wish-granting jewel that represents enlightenment and sacred wisdom, and snakes are understood to be Dragons’ messengers in the world of humans. Thanks to their ability to continually shed their skin and be reborn, these serpents are known as shapeshifters in Japanese mythology and can live to be thousands of years old, able to walk between the underworld, heaven, and the human world. Shintō priests and practitioners will always try to avoid harming a snake if they come across such an animal in daily life—in fact, encountering a live snake is considered an extremely lucky omen, while encountering a dead one is considered a sign of misfortunes to come.

Benzaiten, sometimes simply called Benten, is a syncretic goddess who blends elements from Hindu, Buddhist, and native Japanese Shintō beliefs. Her many forms range from a two-armed beauty playing music to an eight-armed martial deity holding weapons to a monstrous three-headed snake to a divine representation of Amaterasu, the supreme Shintō sun goddess. Benzaiten is especially associated with the Shintō kami spirit Ugajin, a white human-headed serpent guardian of the rivers who bears a strong connection to the element of water, thunder, and lightning. Ugajin was a harvest and fertility kami represented both as a male and a female, and depicted with the body of a snake and the head of a bearded man or woman. Ugajin represented rivers, fertility, and agriculture, and thus was closely associated with Japan’s central kami Inari, god of rice. Ugajin often appears crowning Benzaiten within a torii, or sacred gate signifying the transition from profane to sacred space.

Benzaiten is also closely associated with another river goddess, Saraswati, a goddess who personifies both the river from which she draws her name and all other things that flow, including music, poetry, writing, learning, eloquence, wisdom, and the performing arts. When Saraswati was introduced to Japan in the 7th century CE she was adopted into Japan’s Buddhist pantheon as Happi Benzaiten, an eight-armed weapon-wielding defender of the nation. Around 1333 CE, as native Shintō kami beliefs blended with Japanese Buddhist representations Happi Benzaiten became re-associated with water and adopted Ugajin’s serpent powers, thus evolving into Uga Benzaiten. This change was reflected in a change in the spelling of her name, with the character zai 才 (meaning talent) replacing its homonym zai 財 (meaning wealth). Her association with Ugajin’s serpent powers of water, wealth and abundance increased and Benzaiten skyrocketed in popularity, subsequently becoming one of Japan’s Seven Lucky Gods.

Today, Benzaiten is usually depicted as a heavenly woman crowned with a white serpent, playing the biwa (a Japanese lute-like instrument) to represent her mastery of the arts, and honored as a river goddess of fertility and abundance, mistress of serpents, guardian of the sacred wish-granting jewel, patroness of the arts, and defender of Japan itself. Because of this power over dragons and snakes, she is also called upon to end droughts and floods and thereby ensure bountiful harvests and abundance for those who honor her. Benzaiten’s primary attribute is compassion, or amiability, and jealous women in particular pray to her in order to ease the raging fire that sets them against their sisters and the men who inflame their passions.

Benzaiten is also associated with white foxes, who in Japanese culture are similar to snakes in their ability to navigate the underworld, heaven, and earth. Foxes, like serpents, carry dual meanings, symbolizing both life and death, the underworld and heaven, good and bad fortune. Foxes act as messengers between the worlds, and along with dragons and serpents, are carriers of the powerful Shintō wish-granting jewel. This jewel that signifies the bestowal of blessings and the end of all suffering, for it grants wishes, pacifies desires, and brings clear understanding of the Dharma, thus representing the mixture of both Shintō and Buddhist beliefs. Benzaiten’s three avatars—dragons, foxes, and snakes—are all often depicted carrying this jewel.

Every major city in Japan has a shrine or temple dedicated to Benzaiten, often appropriately located near a body of water such as a lake, pond, river or the sea. Many of her shrines, called benten-do or benten-sha, are still active today. Among the thousands of sanctuaries devoted to her, the three temples most widely known today are located on the islands of Chikubushima, Itsukushima, and Enoshima. They are collectively known as the Three Great Benten Sanctuaries (Nihon Sandai Benten), and at these temples Benzaiten grants wishes and protects those who ply the waterways. Benzaiten’s main ritual, the annual Lotus Festival, still takes place at her temple at Chikubushima in mid-summer and dates back to Japan’s medieval period when Shintō priests would pray to her for rain and a bountiful harvest. Benzaiten is also frequently worshipped on New Year’s Eve, because according to legend, the Seven Lucky Gods embark together on their Takarabune treasure ship to bring happiness to everyone. On this night, Japanese tradition tells children to put a picture of the seven aboard their treasure ship, or a picture of the mythological Baku (eater of nightmares), under their pillow. A lucky dream confers luck for the whole year, but only if the dreamer does not tell anyone about their dream—if so, the dream will forfeit its power. Benzaiten’sshrines have been active for thousands of years, and her visionary protection and abundance remain legendary and influential in modern Japan.

Despite her class normally being associated with Magical Resistance, Benzaiten's connection to three diffrient nations, each having a different level of superstitious beliefs, leaves her in the unlucky position of being more susceptible to magic due to this mult-national origin. In essence, she only has any real protection from magic that she can directly identify with one of those three nations (India, China, Japan).

As a Goddess of poetry, Benzaiten can use words to empower those around her. Her poetry can heal both the body and mind of those who hear it, friend or foe, as well as providing a moral boost to those who it is directly spoken to. However, the poem must be spoken, and heard by the other party, for the effects to occur.

Natural Body (Rivers) B+
A skill that embodies the potency of ones form of self. While near Rivers, Benzaiten can heal more quickly and while using less mana from their master. It also allows her to freely travel through water with no resistance and at high speed.

Divine Core of the Snake God A
A skill representing the perfection Benzaiten has achieved by virtue of being a Goddess across three pantheons. This is a simple composite skill that provides both divinity and some natural defense against mortal weapons by way of providing thick, scale like skin for Benzaiten at the moment of impact. Though strong, these scales are by no means impenetrable, and the blood that seeps from any wounds that penetrate these scales carry a mild poison, similar to a snakes venom. Though, one would have to be nearly coated in her blood to be effected on a noticeable level.

As Benzaiten was once the Goddess dedicated to protecting the nation of Japan from outsiders, some degree of that martial prowess still exists in her. When activated, Benzaiten gains six additional arms, each wielding a different weapon from China, India and Japan (A katana, naginata, Chinese Dao sword, Chinese War Axe, Indian Kayamkulam vaal, katar, Chinese Halbred, and a Japanese Kanabo). Once summoned, Benzaiten will attempt to kill anything that moves near her, similar to the way a snake strikes, swift and sudden. The individual arms are magical in nature, appearing as a pale white snake skin, shed and hanging from a thin limb reminiscent of snakes body.

The effects of this Noble Phantasm do not end until Benzaiten has killed something, regardless of what, or who, it is or by removing all six additional arms. Such is the nature of a cold blooded killer being heralded as Guardian spirit. This Noble Phantasm can be used as often as possible, however, the limbs that are removed or damaged must completely heal before it can be used again. Lastly, weapons from her three homelands cause her additional damage, as she is expected to protect the people of those lands, not fight them.​

Aurelia's early history has never been a subject of interest, and so records of it have been muddied and lost on purpose or otherwise. Ever since settling into the country, she has acted as a one-person "mafia," dealing with the people's most dire and pressing problems. A thorn in the side of both criminals and law enforcement, many have started turning to their 'sestrenka' before anyone else.

She is calculative and detached, fond of bold and decisive actions in place of cowardice or words. Though her character is intrinsically selfless, she has a vindictive streak of efficient and stubborn revenge.

While she is highly effective in the field, Aurelia is a total disaster outside of her job. She drives on the pavement more often than the road, her room is an untidy mess and she consistently burns frozen dinners in the microwave. As a Mage, the quality of her Circuits is extremely poor. Her Command Seals appear as two semi-circles with perpendicular tendrils at their edges; one pointing up and the other one left. Together they surround a fish-like symbol.

Okina is a competent and intelligent Heroic Spirit. She is a wise ruler who dedicated herself to her Emperor, to her nation and now to her Master. In her own mind, she is both a shield and a spear to those she deems worthy, ready to wage campaigns of war or even delay childbirth until her role as such is fulfilled. In short, she would never let a promise go broken.

This Empress wields her bow in the name of conquest and offers no compromise. The divine jewels at her side symbolize the power to part the seas and devastate the shores with great waves, as well as the complicated ambition of all Japan. In her time, she conquered the 'promised land' without shedding a single drop of blood, only to open a pathway to its devastation long after her lifetime. For this reason, her ideal of 'conquest' has shifted. No longer does her bow conquer that which is distant, but her arrows instead mark the boundaries around that which shall never be taken.

BIOGRAPHY
A figure cloaked in legend, Empress Jingū is said to have ruled Japan during the second or third century. Ascending the throne after the death of her husband, Emperor Chuai, she defeated his murderers in revenge and waged a reportedly bloodless war against the Korean Peninsula. It is said that with the help of a pair of divine jewels, she conquered a part of the island and returned home to rule for another six decades. Shortly after her return, she gave birth to a son who had remained inside her womb for three long years, as not to interrupt her conquest. The name of this child would be Ojin; better known as Hachiman; the god of archery and war.

Enemy Servants with low Mental Resistance find their will to fight Okina decreasing the longer they are engaged, while regular soldiers might refuse to fight her altogether. The Sacred Jewels entrusted to the Empress. Calling upon their power transforms them into a pair of extremely destructive tsunami waves, creating two parts of a circle that close in on each other. As they travel to meet, these waves tear down everything in their path, potentially destroying entire fortresses, villages and even small towns. Though this Phantasm is capable of routing whole armies, it is very unlikely to defeat an actual Servant, as the biggest danger it poses to them is the debris acting as shrapnel. Additionally, its unchecked nature is almost guaranteed to make the battlefield too messy for the wielder to linger.​

Biography and Personality
Rintaro is a quiet young man who is both shy and introverted. He struggles to really make friends or even carry on most conversations. This is mostly due to his families rather eccentric lifestyle. His father is a TV medium who makes a fortune using their magic to allow the still living to speak to the deceased. His mother is also a necromancer who can speak to spirits through a medium, though this far less accurate then her husbands skill. This particular strand of the Fujiwara family are from a sect of Taoist Hermits who have managed to maintain a steady and competent understanding of their arts. As such, they are able to raise the dead with a semblance of some actual memory and humanity. Thus, they allow the living to speak to their passed family.

However, both of his parents are exceptionally greedy people. both of them too old and infirm to participate in a Grail War, they instead have their son acting as their intermediary to win the war and wish for fortunes untold. Rintaro has little will of his own and struggle to say to no to his parents and as such is now fighting in the Grail War. Unlike most participants, he has no actual wish for the Grail and simply wants to survive. This is probably because, despite his introverted personality, he does have a wife.

It was an arranged marriage with another family of necromancers from the same province in Japan, Nagano. His wife is both beautiful and far more outgoing then he is. Strangely enough, they are both rather smitten with one another. Despite being an arranged marriage both parties are very happy with one another. In short, Rintaro is quiet, shy and tends to keep to himself. He is usually too gripped by nervousness or terror to really contribute much in the way of a fight.

Personality
Tokugawa Ieyasu is a man made up of the personalities of several people and it is always a surprise which of the several personalities manifests. In this instance, it is the original Ieyasu who died too early in his legend to be of any actual note. He is a timid and fearful man, plagued with anxiety. He is gifted with a sharp mind and a callous tongue, though he did nothing of note in this form. He will do what he can to either avoid fighting or convince others to fight in his stead. In this persona he has a tendency to try and use schemes and under-handed tactics to avoid conflict. (This is the canon Koha-Ace version)

This is until he enters battle, where more of the personality of Honda Tadakatsu boils to the surface. He becomes more bold and his fears evaporate and though he retains an air of calm competence, he still suffers from anxieties, leading to a tendency to over think things. He will fight honorably and pay homage to his foe, especially any who are divine or match his abilities as a warrior. He will refuse to fight an enemy who is not at 100% of their own power but will have no qualms if they persist in engaging him.


Biography

Quick preface: Fate follows the Kagemusha Theory for Tokugawa Ieyasu, meaning that there is no 'true' Tokugawa Ieyasu as he died when he was young and the clan used a system of body doubles (Kagemusha) to keep the clan under control during the Warring States period. Instead, everything he achieved is actually the achievements of those who served him. As such, he is technically classless but can be summoned by basically taking over an aspect of one of his retainers; taking on their class, skills, Noble Phantasm, stats and history. However, the majority of their personality is based on Tokugawa's personality rather then the retainers.

If he was summoned as his 'true self', he would be classless with a Noble Phantasm that would allow him to transform himself into any of the the seven main classes, at will, to do combat. In this instance, he is locked in the Lancer class, unable to change into any other class as he is constrained by the rules of the Grail War. However, revealing either of his true names, Ieyasu or Tadakatsu, would have the same effects as any other servant being found out.

Honda Tadakatsu was a member of the Ikko Ikki sect (Single Minded Faith) as well as a man who was solely focus on earthly affairs. As such, he has little interest in mysticism and see's it as a vulgar mockery of the Buddha and his teachings. The high level of this skill allows Honda to avoid most direct effects of magic with only those spells that would send physical attacks as being able to directly engage him. He also cannot nullify magic, so anything like an AoE spell would still hit those near him.​

Honda Tadakatsu was known as a man who fought on the frontline of over 100 battles and survived them all with not even a scratch. Due to this part of his legend, Tadakatsu is a very hard to kill. He can be killed with extreme trauma or complete removal of the head but anything less then several mortal wounds otherwise won't be enough to put him down.

A skill to reflect the martial prowess a warrior obtains from mastering their weapon to such a degree that it is merely an extension of themselves, mixed with the natural talents of observation that one who resides on a battlefield must learn. So long as the enemy is a mortal (not divine) and using a weapon similar to ones found in Japan, Tadakatsu has a small chance to predict his opponents moves to protect himself from harm.

Demon of the Battlefield EX
A skill that rallies allies through personal prowess and valor. Due to the immense legend surrounding Tadakatsu and the nature of warfare during the Sengoku Jidai, anyone who is fighting on the same side as him will have their morale, strength and endurance raised. Its effects increase with as Tadakatsu both deals damage to his opponent, kills enemies, and dodges damage.

The Dragonfly Cutting spear, one of Japan's three most famous spears. In the hands of Honda Tadakatsu it becomes a menace meant only to cause grievous harm. Once this Noble Phantasm is activated, the Tonbokiri turns into a drill like weapon and Tadakatsu attempts to tear his opponent apart. The blade is sharp enough to kill a dragonfly that lands upon it, and spinning at high speed, it will eviscerate anything it touches, though it does have a harder time grinding through tougher materials like stone. Tt was designed for war and can easily churn through non-divine armor. After a single target is hit (or missed) the blade will return to normal. Though this Noble Phantasm can be used several times in a row, it takes about five seconds for the blade to change between its spear and drill form, leaving Tadakatsu unable to block with it.

PERSONA

Brutus is an unconscious hypocrite. Adhering to a strong principle of honor, code and duty, yet will take any opportunity to manipulate someone or a situation for his own personal gain. He is proud of his reputation for honor and nobleness but is not always practical and can be naive. Intensely committed to fashioning his behavior to a strict moral and ethic code but makes unconsciously hypocritical conclusions and decisions. One of which is viewing the assassination of his dear friend as a quasi-religious, heroically political act to save the Roman people from what he and his fellow conspirators viewed as a future tyrant, rather than cold blooded murder or betrayal. He is guided by his personal sense of honor in all things and is greatly disturbed when events force him to act in manners inconsistent with them. When a plan is made he is committed to it without wavering, taking control of a situation if needed and will go to any length for his personal ideals of honor without regret and without lament.

Espionage: A

This skill does not conceal one’s presence, but rather makes Brutus' presence fail to register as hostile. This Skill causes others to misunderstand his status, including mistaking him for a kind neighbor, a harmless pebble, or as the most beloved person. As the one who shocked all of Rome with the assassination of one of It's greatest military leaders, Brutus possesses A rank. At this rank, as long as the user is not outed by his allies or his True Name is not revealed, it is almost impossible to discern any hostility from the user. However, the instant when Brutus attacks directly, this Skill loses its effects.

Slayer of the Crown: A+
A skill credited to those who have slain any manner of ruler. The higher the rank, the more effective any attack is against those who rule.

Strategy: B
As an accomplished politician of the Senate and leader of assassination Brutus posseses a fairly high ranking. This is the ability to seize things in the broader perspective, such as diplomacy and logistics, in order to decide victory before the fighting even begun.

Despair of the Knife: C
Brutus, against his better judgement, was convinced to join in and lead the assassination of Julius Caesar. While Caesar did fight off the attackers originally, that did not last long. When Caesar laid eyes upon Brutus, the will to fight left him. He accepted his fate, and was slain. When Brutus attacks, the opponent suffers a mental attack that lowers their ability to defend against Assassin. Brutus hits all targets with a mental attack upon breaking Presence Concealment. It reduces all defensive skills by two ranks in one turn.

This Phantasm conjures the Theater of Pompey, site of the once great general and dictator Julius Caeser's slaying. A High-Thamatuergy only Brutus possesses. The victim suffers the recreation of death of Julius Caesar at the hands of Brutus and various other senators on the 15th of March. Upon Caesar (in this case the victim), the target of Brutus' blade, 22 knives were stuck into his skin, with Brutus being the 23rd and final blow. Causality warps, dealing 22 additional wounds to the target before calculating in the damage of Brutus' own strike. Against greater targets, like Caesar, the real factor is the knife wielded by Brutus. To activate this Phantasm, Brutus must declare "Then fall, Caesar!" Upon doing so, several checks against the target take place.
1 - The target is affected by "Despair of the Knife."
2 - The target is a king, tyrant, or ruler of some kind.
3 - The target is Roman in origin.
4 - The target has divinity.
For each check the target fulfills, additional damage is dealt. If three checks succeed, the target must make a save or be instantly killed by Assassin's attack. If four checks are made, the chance of failing the saving throw rises. If the target meets all five criteria, there is no saving them. The death chance scale off Luck and Mana (C rank checks for three marks, and B rank for four marks.). Even if the target doesn't die, the 23rd strike still does significant damage to their body.
After using this Phantasm, Brutus takes a small portion of damage as backlash for using it. As such, using it in rapid succession can be devastating to his health.

The Ides of March was the chosen day to slay Caesar. The senators that chose to kill Caesar chose to hide knives in their tunics, and it was Brutus they requested be their leader. Despite his concerns, Brutus accepted the position. Now, they follow him even to this day. But they do no listen to them. Rather, he hears them, echoing to him from the distance. Barking orders. Directing him. Telling him the best routes, the best points to strike a target. Things he might not notice at a glance.
When not using Presence Concealment, these voices will even whisper into the ears of those around him. A voice from behind or a voice that echoes the cracking of a tree branch. Breeding doubt or distraction into the ears of those who might make the mistake of listening.
When the true name is called, all who are nearby will be assaulted by a vision. Faceless assassins leaping in from all angles, attacking and stabbing. They are not truly real, but to all five senses, they must be. It is the true weapon of panic. To terrify, distract, and allow Assassin to slip his blade into the heart of his enemy.

[Effect:] When Presence Concealment is active, Assassin is able to hear the voice of the senators who treated him like a puppet. Guiding him, directing him, and helping him notice flaws in others.
When Presence concealment is not active, the voices of the senators move about to other characters around Assassin. Whispering lies, or distractions into their ears. Hoping to distract them in small ways.
When the true name is called, faceless assassins appear around the enemy servant. Illusions that strike fear into the hearts of those that might be the enemy of Brutus. Though more often, the enemy of the Senate.





Backstory


Brutus was the son of Marcus Brutus, who he shared a name with. But that man was not truly his father. Before marrying Brutus the elder, his mother had been a lover of Julius Caesar. Perhaps that was who his real father was? He never really considered it, though it had been a topic of discussion between himself and Caesar on a few occasions. Perhaps it is why Caesar appointed him as one of his highest ranking officers when he was general. Perhaps it is why Caesar made sure to spare him death when he betrayed his general and allied himself with Pompey the Great.
After being adopted by his uncle he used the name Quintus Servilius Caepio Brutus, but eventually returned to using his original name. Brutus was indeed close to General Julius Caesar, the leader of the Populares faction. However, Caesar's attempts to assume greater power for himself put him at greater odds with the Roman elite and members of the Senate. Brutus eventually came to oppose Caesar and fought with the Optimate faction, led by Pompey the Great, against Caesar's forces in Caesar's Civil War. Pompey was defeated at the Battle of Pharsalus in 48 B.C., after which Brutus surrendered to Caesar, who granted him amnesty. However, the underlying political tensions which led to the war had not been resolved. Due to Caesar's increasingly monarchical behavior, several senators, calling themselves "Liberators", plotted to assassinate him. They recruited Brutus, who took a leading role in the assassination, which was carried out successfully on March 15, 44 B.C. The Senate, at the request of the Consul Mark Antony, granted amnesty to the assassins. However, a populist uprising forced Brutus and his brother-in-law, fellow assassin Gaius Cassius Longinus, to leave the City of Rome. In 43 B.C., Caesar's grandnephew, Consul Gaius Octavian Caesar, immediately after taking office, passed a resolution declaring the conspirators, including Brutus, murderers. This led to the Liberators' civil war, pitting the erstwhile supporters of Caesar, under the Second Triumvirate, wishing both to gain power for themselves and avenge his death, against those who opposed him. Octavian combined his troops with those of Antony, and together they decisively defeated the outnumbered armies of Brutus and Cassius at the Battle of Philippi in October 42 B.C. After the battle, unwilling to give in and unwilling to run once more, Brutus committed suicide.

When worn by Nimrod, he can use it create an aura around him that causes fear and a feeling of powerlessness to any human or beast. This manifests itself as a reduction in the targets Endurance and Agility parameters.

Migdal Babel, The Tower that Reach the Heavens (Rank A): A Nobel Phantasam that embodies the most well-known tale associated with Nimrod, the building of the tower of Bable.

This Noble Phantasm takes the form of a ziggurat with a spiraling column jutting out from the middle many miles high.

It's an embodiment both of the hatred and spite of God that lead Nimrod to build the tower in the first place, but it's also an embodiment of the suppression of man that came as a punishment for it.

While this Nobel Phantasm is active, damage from human origin (such as human fists or weapons, being them from a Servant or not) will be reduced towards Nimrod, while his attacks will inflict more damage against enemies of divine origin.

Profile: Born from an obscure lineage of magi, Kuzuha's childhood wasn't really like what one would expect from a child of magus family. Although they are quite proud of their lineage, the Mirokuji family never expected that their child would be chosen as one of the participants of Holy Grail War. The father of the family is quite a well-versed magus, but the mother was from a lineage that only practiced magecraft for less than 50 years... somehow. Compared to most existing magi clans, they're as close as it can get to normal human being. Because of this, Kuzuha was never truly burdened with the expectations of becoming a great magus. Instead, it was within her own ambition to achieve greatness and lifted the name of her family.

Personality: From the perspective of those who doesn't know him well, Saber would seem like a fish out of water among any other Servants of his class. Indeed, Saber is anything but honorable; a cunning strategist who would be more than willing to backstab those who let their guard down. To him, victory must be achieved at all cost, and one must be willing to make the difficult call to achieve so. It doesn't help that he often speak in condescending manner, addressing other rarely by their name or, in the case of other Servants, class, but rather by whatever first impression he got from them. That is not to say he is completely immoral. Saber hates suicidal mission, and would not waste his companies away in meaningless battle. Rather, he only seek the most efficient way to win a battle. He is even willing to retreat and admit his defeat in a battle just to gain a greater chance of winning the war.

In a rare occasion he'd ever open himself to other person, one could see a completely different side of Saber; a meek person who overthink stuffs and worried about the most menial and mundane things. Despite being generally potrayed as a villainous entity, Saber is in fact a friendly person who respects his friends and rivals. One could even sometime see him lamenting about his friendship with a certain Yuan Shao and the destiny that brought them against each other. Regardless, it is still wise for one to maintain caution around him. After all, Saber is a crafty person and can be quite a liar at times.

Biography: Cao Cao was born in 155 AD as the son of Cao Song and Lady Ding, the former being the adopted son of Cao Teng, a powerful and influential eunuch at the time. Throughout his adolescents, Cao Cao indulged himself with the study of art, literature, and martial arts. Somewhere along the line, he formed a friendship with Yuan Shao over their love for hunting and music. In fact, those hobby become rather detrimental to Cao Cao's study that his uncle complained about this to Cao Song. Through lies and deceit, Cao Cao managed to get away none the worse. One day, Cao Cao decided to visit a philosopher named Xu Shao, who was famous for his ability to evaluate the potential of those who visited him. His goal was to gain some political footing through the philosopher's appraisal, and although Xu Shao initially refused, he eventually responded to the young man that he will be "a capable minister in peaceful time, and an unscrupulous hero at difficult time".

At the age of 20, Cao Cao was appointed as the district captain of Luoyang. However, due to a certain accident, he was "promoted" into a governor of Dunqiu country to move him away from the capital. About a year later, the Yellow Turban Rebellion broke out, and Cao Cao was recalled back to Luoyang to deal with the problem. He made a great success, and with the rebellion completely subdued, he was offered a high ranked position among Dong Commandery, which he refused. Later, he joined a coalition under Yuan Shao against Dong Zhuo, who had replaced the emperor with a puppet emperor of his choice, but the coalition quickly fall apart and Dong Zhuo was assassinated by Lu Bu. Cao Cao would eventually convinced the emperor to move out of Luoyang and move the capital to Xuchang.

Through a series of political missteps, Cao Cao had to face Yuan Shao in battle of Guandu. Yuan Shao had the massive advantage in number, but his indecisiveness and Cao Cao's ability to predict his moves had allowed Cao Cao to made a triumphant victory. However, the death of his closest friend had left a large scar in his heart, and after subduing the rest of Yuan clan, he granted Yuan Shao a proper burial.

With his power in Northern China uncontested, Cao Cao set his eyes to the south. With the intention of uniting China once and for all, Cao Cao set off with huge number of troop. He was met in Chi Bi by the coalition army of Liu Bei and Sun Quan, their army numbered not even half of Cao Cao's. And yet, like a cruel twist of irony, Cao Cao was profoundly defeated and forced to retreat back into his kingdom. This event marked the beginning of the Era of the Three Kingdom.

-Appreciation of the Art - A: If Saber happens to see a Noble Phantasm that possesses artistic value, he would almost certainly capable of deducing the true name of the Servant. Those who have luck of rank A or higher have some possibility of nullifying this skill.

-Charisma (False) - B: Saber possesses this variation of Charisma due to him being reluctant to take the imperial throne by himself and instead ruled ancient China through a puppet emperor. It still has the same effect of Charisma, which increases his allies' strength during group battle.

-Rather I Wrong the World - EX: A variation of Innocent Monster in which rather than turning Saber into a monstrous being, it instead transform his alignment into "Chaotic Evil" when confronting a Servant with "Good" alignment. In addition to that, any Servant with "Good" alignment will immediately recognize him as "villain/evil being", and when fighting against those Servants, Saber would gain bonus to all of his parameter other than luck by one rank, but his luck, Magic Resistance, and Charisma (False) decreased by one. A skill that paints himself as "villain of the story". Rather than something based on the actions he has done within his life, this skill is a curse granted by the world due to the general perception of him as a cruel and tyrannical leader despite his achievements. To activate this, Saber only have to utter the following sentence: " I'd rather be the one to wrong the world, than for the world to wrong me". However, after being activated, Saber cannot revert back to his original state until he is defeated.

A sword created to protect oneself from evil as well as destroying them. A legendary sword once owned by two demonic brothers from Journey to the West, Kinkaku and Ginkaku. In the hand of Saber, it becomes a powerful blade capable of slaying an entire army in one swing. It is even more effective against Servant with "Evil" alignment. When activated, it emits a bright heavenly ray which can be swung to create a massive light wave of annihilation, sundering all that is unfortunate enough to stand in its path. However, if Saber's alignment turned into "Evil", he will lose access to this NP and instead can only use its variant.

The twisted form of Seven Star Sword corrupted by the image of Saber as "Villain of the Story". A dark, malevolent sword befitting that of a tyrannical emperor, the sword loses all of its heavenly quality and instead become a sword that annihilate all that is "good". For Saber to gain access to this NP, his alignment must be "Chaotic Evil". The sword is capable of producing a far more destructive force than the original variant. However, each time he uses this sword, his luck parameter also goes down by one rank permanently, and when his luck rank reaches E, the next usage would kill him as well.

Personality: Ayase is a pretty gloomy type of person. She is often found with a self depreciative grin on her face and doesn't talk much about her own life or her hobbies much at all, as she doesn't see anything about it particularly interesting. Ayase lives alone and has very little in the way of friendships, so it ends up becoming hard for her to pick up on people's mannerisms or their emotions. If she makes someone angry, she'll apologize profusely, if she makes someone sad she'll apologize profusely, if she makes someone happy she'll believe it was somehow a mistake on her part and apologize profusely. All in all, she seems to be a hopeless person who's likely going to stay where she is in life, whether shes happy with it or not.

She does seem to be a bit more chipper as of late.

Miracle EX: Mary Magdalene was said to have the best understanding of Jesus' words and teachings among all others who had listened to him. As such, she is able to preach holy words as close to God's own word as possible. These words have such potency that they can be mistaken for words of incantation, as they bring forth miracles at Mary Magdalene's command.

Freedom of Affliction B: Early on, Mary Magdalene had been possessed by the power of seven Demons which racked her body with illnesses and afflictions, however due to intervention in the form of seven exorcisms, she was cured of her demons. Mary Magdalene can command this holy power herself in order to both heal and free other's of curses.

Smite C: Though Mary Magdalene's only identifiable weapon is an ornate Bible, her status as both a holy woman and a servant has risen her to a figure closer to that of an Angel. Even a strike with her Bible will be backed with a certain holy power.

Description: When summoned Mary Magdalene is summoned along side the several demons that have been exercised from her body, whos true identities are in fact the Seven Deadly Sins who disguise themselves as angelic children. Although these seven more so resemble moody children in normal settings, they each bear curses of which they can afflict onto others. In terms of strength, they can be described as 'Particularly Powerful spirits" rather than servants. They often have a hard time working with one another, and while they seem to be on Mary's side they often will not all combine their strengths with hers at the same times.
