Archer stood and moved towards the window, peering out with an intense gaze, seeking the people on the streets, "Ordering clothes will not be necessary,"she said as she flicked her hand and redressed herself in an instant. She liked this modern garb, it was unlike the cold weather gear she preferred, but she could show her arms and these thick "blue jeans," were much more comfortable then they looked."But you misunderstand me, Melvin. I fully endorse the idea of winning this war from a mile or so away. I am the archer class servant, hunting is what I excel at." She looked back at him then, with cold blue eyes in no way dulled by her more casual outfit, "Since you are, as you say, woefully weak, it way be our best option never to be seen by another until the very end, though if I am any indication, the other servants may be powerful enough to force a close confrontation." She stretched and opened the room's door warily, checking for any spies. "To summarize Melvin, I or we will be the hunters of this war and if the prey is weak we will feast all the more."

The pair left the hotel and headed to the train station, Archer walking confidently and openly. She, though her master and others wouldn't know it had concealed her presence to the point of seeming for all the world a mortal with a particularly weak aura. This allowed her and Melvin to reach the station in undetected. They boarded and rode the train for what felt to Archer an annoyingly long time until disembarking at the assigned station. She exited quickly and looked around the station warily, seeking for threats. Finding none, she subly waved for Melvin to come out, "Where does the map lead us next?" She asked quietly as Melvin left the train.

THE SUPERHERO FORMERLY KNOWN AS THE SERVANT BERSERKER
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The feeling of not existing was not an incredibly comfortable experience.
It was actually very painful, or at least one would imagine it was, since upon existing such a state of non-existing would most certainly be forgotten, for the reasoning of it never happening in the first place.
For a servant, the feeling of confusion you're most likely feeling reading that sentence was multiplied by an infinite amount of confusion of actually having experienced the transition.
Until, of course, their mind was flooded with imagery, thoughts, sounds, history, an understanding of their existence, and enough historical knowledge provided by the throne to rival the greatest minds of the centuries they were summoned upon.
Again, it was such an odd feeling, going from not having a mind, to having a mind filled to the brim with knowledge. Such an experience was even more considerably confusing to the servants mind when they were of the Berserker class, and even more confusing if they were an anomaly among Berserkers.

Such was the confusion in the mind of the Brightly colored, spandex clad girl, as she suddenly existed.
Suddenly existed, and knew quite a lot. She knew who she was for one, or at least part of who she was, and what the goal of her being here was...
It wasn't entirely clear, to be completely candid with you.

"HUZZ- Huh? What? Where? When? Who?"

It was clear that her confusion of her sudden exisetence had gotten to the girl, as she whipped her blonde hair (Which looked more like clubs made of locks of sunshine, attached to a pink blure of kinetic movements, with how fast she was looking around) about, and looked at her surroundings, which she vaguely understood, but once more, confused her greatly.
It took her a few moments to come to an understanding, that was still an entirely inaccurate view of the situation. (Despite having full knowledge of it, this was still a difficult task).

"Ah. Now I get it! Yes! Yes! Of course, I've been summoned as a...Heroic spirit...That makes me....Aha! Exactly! Yes! Yes! Yes!"

She definitely was not aware she was speaking to herself, as the girl who had previously been staring at her, and speaking to her (Though she most certainly didn't hear a thing) was already walking off.
Of course she knew that girl was her Master, and that a contract had already been formed...But once more, "Knowing" and "Understanding" were two different concepts, and she wasn't conciously entirely sure of why the girl was there, or why she felt the need to follow her intensely, or call out after her...Or do anything, for that matter.

This servant was still confused, but she most certainly knew one thing.
She was a hero, and this was to be her story of adventure.

She bounded off after her master, who seemed to have taken to walking... Somewhere.
This was going to be a confusing adventure.

Melvin sat the phone down as Archer made her own change of clothes. "Well that saves me some money on clothes" Melvin said with a smirk Melvin then listened to Archer's strategy. "I agree with that plan. It allows us to keep our distance without getting in direct danger." Melvin said smirking as he started walking out of the room, grabbing the ticket and the map on his way. After leaving the pair headed to the train station. Melvin walked calmly and confidently with his servant. They train ride was long and annoying before they arrived at there station.

Melvin exited the train after Archer waved for him to follow. After taking a quick look at the map Melvin respond to Archer's question. "We are heading to the London tombs. How nice we get to play with the dead" Melvin said sarcastically as he began following the map to the tombs. "Keep an eye out for other masters and servant or anything other possible dangers." Melvin said heading into cemetery where the tomb was held.

Master of Lancer
She opened her eyes to see the beautiful woman before her, how she got here was a mystery to her. Her eyes briefly opened wide, momentarily feeling threatened, her eyes locked on the face of the stranger as thoughts raced on and on but they were shattered by the words of the stranger who had seemed to proclaim herself 'Lancer'. A drip of water ran down her face, perhaps it was sweat, as her mind relaxed once more. Hopefully the stranger did not notice the temporary hostility from her, or if she did that it would be pardoned for it was an involuntary action. A surprise. Her cheeks turned a light shade of red as she noticed the arm extending towards her, looking up at the strong and beautiful Lancer she felt safe, there was no sign of danger here. But to be spoken to by someone other than the Lord was strange. "Oh no..." "OH NO!" The sudden thought echoed through her mind. She must have been a friend of the Lord. Perhaps a relative? No one had ever visited before, the Lord did not allow visits. Abashedly she took the hand of Lancer, it was warm, and rose with the visitors aid. "Th-thank you Lancer." She spoke timidly as she gave a slight bow of apology to the person who had helped her. "I-i did not hear you c-come in. A-are you a friend of the Lords? I-i am afraid he is not here right now." In a rather rushed manner she spoke as she shuffled towards the bed where the gift box had been, the piece of food that her master had bought her must have rolled under the bed. In the box there was still some pieces of what looked like the stuff that was in the books that the Lord gave her. She placed the lid back on the gift box before turning back to Lancer, the gift could wait until later, and so she continued to speak in her flustered manner. "S-sorry! I got distracted by this present the Lord had left me. Are you a friend of his?" Unknowingly she repeated herself.

Assassin

Black sludge dropped down off of the slimy monstrosity's body as it stood. The black slime slowly crawled it's way back to the slimy dog as it slowly looked up at the new appearance. Six green eyes slowly opened up. Four of them looked around the room while the other two looked at the person in front of them. Silent as a mouse it waited patiently until the person in front of her was finished. The dog let out a gurgle as it registered the appearance of that said person. It shook it's head and looked at her. When it started to open it's mouth black sludge started to drip down to the floor. "W...W...ha...t... d...oo...oo... y...o...u f...figh...fight... f..f..for?" A series of distorted sounds were uttered out. The being didn't seem to answer the girl's question as it asked her a question. It was also hard to tell if it was male, or female at all.

Assassin slowly trudged forward to that said person leaving black sludge foot prints behind her. If she answered to her wrongly then it'd have to fulfill her position as a 'Heroic Spirit'. It was better for it to out herself as well, since she already gained what it had wished for in her life. However the feelings were coming back. That feeling to search for something really important. Those feelings where shoved aside in favor of listening to whatever the person in front of her said. All six green eyes locked onto the woman's face as it stared in curiosity. The sludge could be heard hastily moving around from the dog.

The figure before her was silent for a moment... and then two... and then three... She didn't know that an entire quarter hour had passed and still the creature simply stood and stared, refusing to answer the simplest of questions, well the simplest of questions when it came to those who answered the call and appeared from the Throne of Heroes.

And then it spoke... Or at least she thought it spoke. She was used to hearing younglings stutter and cower in her presence -she was never the most approachable of people considering her reputation- so she thought she deciphered the creature's meaning well enough.

"I fight for my Name as all Magi do, for my happiness as all creatures do, and for the freedom-" She cut herself short, not shaken in any measure. She would remain strong despite the killing intent that seemed to flare from the ooze for but an instant.

She said enough for the moment and if such a servant didn't intend to work with her then she didn't intent to force it to. All she ever needed was to see the Greater Grail come forth, all other things were secondary.

Alexandria shook her head, more out of exasperation rather than true disappointment. If her servant could not speak properly then there had to be a reason for it; there was also the possibility of a ruined ritual, the case being that she wasn't directly invovled in the summoning procedure.

"I guess there is no real rush to jump into the fray." She mused, snapping her fingers and once more the room was returned to the state of its former glory. It would not have been acceptable if the summoning somehow ruined her hideaway beyond repair, at least her methods of annihilation were completely reversible for a lady of her skill.

"Make yourself comfortable for the moment while I prepare for the coming battles. Speak if you want anything, or are more inclined to humor me." Alexandria turned from her servant before stretching herself over the repaired recliner and delved into the depths of her expasive mental library. She read through the letter in an instant and what was written there was too much of a boon to be ignored.

Now, how did the Makiri create these seals again?

Lenka
In the park
Tags: Girouette Girouette Iskandar Iskandar SCSaya06 SCSaya06
Maybe this was a mistake. This woman who Lenka invited for lunch seemed to be caught up in her own world. There was something about that mentality, something about people with their heads in the clouds, that plucked a nerve. Though she wasn't listening to what Lenka had said, the woman followed willingly. At least the woman's absentmindedness helped solve one mystery. If the woman really was one of Zeke's men she would have asked for the money at least five times by the time the to finally got to the park.

Hyde Park, a place Lenka recognized. She had many a fight in this park, she knew it well. By hap and circumstance, the two vagrants had wandered into the park. Lenka knew a good place to eat nearby, a nice gourmet restaurant, a real high brow place. They had dumpsters for the leftovers out back, and the lunch rush just passed, which meant the food was ripe for the picking. The two walked side by side and Lenka held fast to her vow of silence. She didn't know what to say, she was never good at idle chat.

Just as the entrance was within sight, Lenka's eyes fell upon a girl, whose hair was of similar uncanny red color. Normally that alone wouldn't be enough to catch Lenka's attention, but it was the burning feeling in her hand that made Lenka pause. Was this a sign? Was something deep within Lenka telling her that she needed to form a personal connection between her fist and the unassuming girl's face? No. Following that impulse had earned Lenka one too many restraining orders. But she couldn't ignore this feeling.

At this point, the two had already met eyes but Lenka didn't care. As Lenka approached the girl she never broke eye contact. Her gaze, it wasn't antagonistic, more curious in nature. By the time she was within speaking distance, only a few steps away, she spoke.

"Remind me. But have I punched you before?" The question was genuine, as was Lenka's confusion. She couldn't deny this burning feeling, but she also had no idea who this girl was. Nor the woman behind her, who Lenka just noticed.

"Please Melvin I have watched everything around us for that entire excruciating voyage," Archer said contemptuously still looking back and forth, independently tracking each and ever person around them. She had to admit she was revolving quickly between being impressed by this modern age and the greatness of London and utter disgust in the people. She barely saw one that would be in any way a worthy warrior. Finally they arrived at the tombs and giving Melvin the signal to stay still as she looked into the complex they entered and quickly found a figure suspicious looking enough to be the overseer. "Are you the one who organized this odd war?" archer asked, hand hovering where her quiver would be if she was in her combat gear.

"My apologizes, I should of not excepted nothing less." Melvin apologized to Archer gentlemanly like as he walked though the graveyard to the tomb. "According to the map the this is the place." Melvin said gesturing to the tomb's entrance. Melvin was about to enter when Archer signal him to stay back. Melvin doubted anyone would could of set up a trap here yet or even would be allowed to but he waited anyways. Well until he heard Archer talk to some one, then Melvin began to slowly follow. "And if you are the organizer I do have a few questions for you." Melvin said calmly but ready to defend himself with his ice shards if needed.

Jun walked through the graveyard and looked at the graves as he passed them. Yep, killed that guy, him too, she nearly burned my face off. Jun hadn't expected to see some of his targets buried here. The area was empty, kind of cold too. Luckily Jun always came prepared with toasty mittens. His hands wouldn't be ravaged by the cold any more than they usually were. Spirit form Saber was nearby if anything tried to jump him. Plus Jun always carried a wide selection of weapons with him at all times. Baggy was stocked with a bunch of things Jun thought would come in handy. Plus he was pretty good at turning the things around him into weapons. The Grail War had started, Jun had to be ready for the kill. Otherwise he and his wish would die in some alley.

Descending into the darkness, Jun seemed to melt into the shadows. Whether by preference or habit, he became an unseen individual. Jun searched for this Overseer, he needed answers and he needed them now. The unsual nature of this Grail War would ensure other Masters would come to make use of the Overseers knowledge. He needed to get what he wanted quickly. Then he could escape with Saber and start formulating a plan. Feeling the presence of people, Jun hugged a wall and looked around. Then he saw two people talking to a strangely dressed individual. Two men, one super fine woman. Jun guessed the woman was the Servant. The hombre with the weird hat was her Master and the guy in the odd ensemble was the Overseer.

Jun inwardly cursed himself, even with flight he still got here too late. Now he had to think of a plan, he'd be noticed soon. Probably not by Weird Hat Guy, his Servant would definitely notice Jun. As skilled of an assassin as Jun was, Servants were on another level. He had a very small window of opportunity to hide and make something up on the spot. His hood was up, they couldn't see his face. Jun could hide his appearance and disguise his voice. That may not work but he was running out of options. Jun gave Saber the signal to stand by. Maybe they could get some answers by listening to this conversation. If all goes to hell, Jun had explosives and a Saber Class Servant.

Lancer
You are unaware of what has transpired?” Lancer raised her eyebrows. The crimson markings on the girl’s hand were indication enough that she was her Master, and as far as Lancer could tell, she was alone. This was troubling. A king who does not know he has put his name in the pot of war.

I do not know your Lord,” she said simply, and made her way to the gift that the girl had just closed. “If it makes any sense, you are the only Lord that matters to me,” she paused for a second to look the girl in her eyes, “Master,” she concluded with finality, before turning her attention to the box. The girl was confused. Judging by the box that she had closed, though it was certainly a leap of logic, Lancer could conclude that it might have been where the sphere that brought her to existence came from.

She pried open the lid and reached into the box, and came up with a folded letter, what her mind told her was a ‘train ticket’ to somewhere called the London Tower, and a map of ‘London’. Londinium, she expected it to be called from whence she was from, but in the modern day. She had never been there herself, and had heard little about it. Her mates had nothing to say about their experience, if they had any, over the other end of the stream. She laid the latter two on the tabletop, and unfolded the letter.

A war. As she was informed. It was the post script that intrigued her, however. That…was not part of her installed education. Her facial expression did not betray her worry- she was used to maintaining a poker face at the height of adversity, but worry, she did. To play defensive, avoid the war altogether, was an ultimately solid plan, but bore a certain amount of risks. She directed her gaze to her Master. She wouldn't say her Master was incompetent, but she had yet to see the opposition as well. She was of half a mind as well to attend this London Tower get-together. They would have knowledge of their foes, and she could feasibly size up the other Masters as well. It’d help her plan out their attack and defense, at the very least. That said, the last time she went with her King to a get-together, it ended with more than a few thousands dead, and river sprites telling her to bugger off, the damn faeries.

Master, this is for you,” she held the letter out towards her Master. “We have instructions to head to London Tower. Whatever you wish to do from here onwards, I will leave it to your discretion.” That was her duty. To protect her King.

SaberLondon Catacombs

Saber kept close to Jun, not that he'd know that given her ethereal form. While she kept her senses about her she wasn't overly worried. No one should know the identity of her Master and she'd sense an enemy servant should they try anything. As Jun used his magics to fly towards their destination she kept pace with him, communicating with him through their telepathic bond as he spoke along the way. "Most men desire to change the world in some form. Whether that be admirable or not is up to the individual in question. As for me..." Her voice trailed off with a hint of apprehension. "I suppose you could say I hold the same wish." Rather than elaborate on that she simply fell silent. The inner workings of her wish were not something anyone needed to know at this point in time, not even her master. And just as she did not pry into his wish, she expected him to not pry into hers.

Upon reaching their destination she watched silently as Jun cautiously made his way into the graveyard. His command caused a small bemused huff of air from her. "That goes without saying." The setting for this meeting was quite odd, though. Graveyards were hardly the proper location for an Overseer to set up residence. Nevertheless she followed after her Master, keeping an eye on that which he could not. As they drew near she could hear the unmistakable sound of voices. Clearly they were not the first to arrive. That said she could not feel the presence of another servant. Even in spirit form she should be able to feel their presence. The possibilities that fact left were quite troublesome.

"I do not sense another servant nearby but that does not mean we're safe. Keep your guard up until we know for sure." The words echoed through Jun's mind as Saber kept watch on any possible threats. Under normal circumstances the Overseer and the church they resided in would be safe, a neutral zone where conflict is barred. Under normal circumstances... With the odd start to the war there was no guarantee her fellow warriors would honor such a rule. After all she hadn't been told this was hallowed ground, as such she very much doubted anyone else had been either.

"Sorry but I don't believe so. London's a big city. Maybe you're confusing me with somebody else?" Cassandra just shrugged at the other girl's words. Rider had warned her about this odd pair being a Master-Servant duo and it would be best to approach with a hint of caution.

"Rather unremarkable for a Master--this girl." She analyzes the woman in front of her. "From the looks of it, she could be a runaway--kind of like that guy Mr. Holt only...she appears to lack the financial means to successfully get away with it and live comfortably at the same time. She carries an impressive physique that looks like it can snap me in two if she puts her mind to it and from that introduction earlier...I guess she's the type who prefers to let her fists do the talking. However--" Her eyes dart between the girl's Servant and then back to her own. "Do we take this girl's invitation and settle it her way? Or--"

"Looks like you've been handed a box as well though." Cassandra feigns being casual enough, keeping her calm in this scenario. "Well? Responding to the summons? Or will you be doing your own thing for a while?"

Rider
Rider held on tightly to her master as Lenka walked up to her and then asked her an odd question. Rider was somewhat dumbfounded by this girl but also entertained by this girl. Rider shook her head and unwrapped her arms from her master's arm, "Well, I suppose I will let you handle this situation, my Prothymos." Rider gave her master a smile of confidence before slowly dissipating into the air which would have probably given both girls a slight shock. Rider's voice echoed slightly as she spoke again, "If you need me just call for me, my Prothymos. Plus, I'd rather not suck you dry of your mana just yet. It is far too early in this war for us to be eliminated!"

Rider remained quiet for a brief moment before showing herself once more and walking up to her master. She leaned in and whispered lowly into her master’s ear, My Prothymos, I am sure you already know this girl could probably break you in half like a twig... Perhaps you should offer an alliance of sorts? Seeing as how this war is already skewed and how none of the masters were likely prepared, it maybe easy to explain to her that it would be beneficial to team up. Allies are important in this war.” Rider looked at Lenka briefly, examining her physique and appearance before looking back at her master and nodding. She once again dissipated into the air, not saying another word.

Master of Lancer
As Lancer responds, she begins to rub her head in confusion. "Transpired?" She thought to herself, what had Transpired? Her confusion only grew once Lancer had made it clear that they had no ties or knowledge of the Lord. That means that she is a stranger, she had never met a stranger before but she knew the word. As Lancer looked into her eyes and declared her their master she froze. "What Is happening?!" Her voice boomed in her head, the impossibility of the situation almost overworked her mind as it attempted to comprehend it. "Master." The word echoes. She did not deserve the title. It was not hers. It should never be hers. The only one who should an old that title is the Lord. However Lancer had used the word in both a genuine and sincere manner. A smile spread across her face, the words of Lancer had moved her. They had given something to her at their first meeting that she should have never had ever. "Th-thank you Lancer." she said timidly, almost quiet enough to be mistaken for a mumble.

She watched Lancer as she opened up the present once more and took out its contents. She smiles once more as Lancer hands her the letter. She carefully reads over it, making sure to take in and process the information that she needs. The Holy Grail war, her grip tightened ever so slightly as she held the letter. Death, chaos, murder, destruction. Those four words came into her mind as she read the letter. She grits her teeth. This wasn't right, it shouldn't be allowed to happen. She let out a small sigh and shook her head a little. She shouldn't lose her head, the Lord always told her to keep a cool head. She heard Lancer speak once before. A meeting at London Tower? She had never been to London Tower. "I'm sorry Lancer. I think I understand a little. It is the Holy Grail War." She spoke with a little more confidence than before, seemingly starting to understand the situation to at least some extent. "S-sorry but I don't know much about It, I have only been told bits and pieces from my Lord... He read a book to me once about it I am sure." She looks down at the floor as she spoke of memories. But she raises her head once more to look Lancer in the eyes this time. With a friendly, heartfelt smile she gently extended her hand to Lancer, offering a handshake. "I have always wanted to visit London Tower. But if we are to go I should request of you to not refer to me as Master. That title is for one person only. Our superiors. We are equals and newly found friends. So I ask you to refer to me as my Lord had chosen to. Call me Sarah." Sarah was very softspoken and found herself struggling to pick the right words for what she wanted to say. But even so she made her best attempts in hopes the message would be conveyed accurately. She would like to be friends with Lancer.

Assassin

Assassin made no movement as the girl left it in the room. The sounds that were emitted from the preparation to attack ceased and it stood there. The beast shook it's head before disappearing into blue dust. It would be a waste of time, and mana for it to stay manifested. Granted it couldn't of hurt of existing since it was of the assassin class. The beast just drifted towards the master. There wasn't much to do beside follow her. Scouting around was a terrible idea, and looking for enemy masters without a plan would be unbeneficial. Plus it would be wise to wait for orders until said otherwise.

Second thoughts then echoed into Assassin's head. It could do that. Finding a him couldn't be that hard. Though it was tempting to go out it may be seen as a sign of betrayal from it's master. If it had a head it would shake it. Unfortunately the only thing it could possible to is manifest out of no where, and spray the black slime everywhere by shaking the head. There wasn't much she could do, but oversee whatever it's master was doing.

The London Tombs. Plague Pits. Whatever you wanted to call them. A site once of history, turned into a place of amusement for the masses.

Fitting, the 'Overseer' thought.

Today, though, they lay silent. The cheap looking props were the only inhabitants of the twisting tunnels that lay under London Bridge. The equally cheap-looking Overseer aside, that is. The powers above were to thank for that. A 'gas leak' on one side and magical wards on the other, it was more than sure that the sightseers and thrillseekers would be keeping their distance for the day. He wasn't sure whether the social power or the magical prowess behind the feat was more impressive.

But, he wasn't in the business of dwelling on trivial thoughts like that. He had guests to entertain, after all.

"...Yeah, that's me." He was already being approached by one of them. Two of them. A man and woman both dressed poorly for the occasion.

Given his own attire, that was relieving, to say the least.

"Overseer 001 here to answer your questions... Just kidding. With a face like that, I can only imagine you're one of the Servants, right? Probably..." He caught himself. Guessing her name out loud probably wouldn't be the most polite thing to do.

"...Nevermind." Water under the bridge, right? "Well, I'd like to speak to your Master, sorry. Which were you sent to? The uh, tall fellow right? Real pirate-sounding name, IIRC."

Dammit, he really needed to break that habit.

"Er, sorry. If I remember correctly. Mind calling him over for me?"

Defeated, Alexandria dropped her elbows against the table and she drew out a long, tired sigh into her palms. Almost as if acting on an afterthought, she waved her had across her desk, causing a small wave of mana to surge forth and clear every trace of the magic circle etched into the air itself. She was disappointed, but that didn't mean that it gave her an excuse to be sloppy; Barty would never live it down if it was known that she left the remains of the closest analogue to the Primeval Runes lying around. She would never hear the end of it from that uptight priss she called a friend, and even worse, she would be expected to clean up whatever mess that came afterwards, a mess that she was sure to be a headache even greater than replicating Hermes.

Alexandria was in the process of recreating the greatest repeatable piece of Magecraft in the entire War when she realized that she had a problem. The primary rituals that were involved in creating the coveted crests were simple enough but when the Tohsaka reported that the Command Seals were pseudo-circuits, they were underselling what they had. Zolgen had somehow manage to take what was left of Justeaze and her circuits to create what was to be the only way to control something as powerful as a servant, and unbeknownst to him, a Mystery that touched upon the realm of True Magic itself. Such an accomplishment was to be praised if it did not require the sacrifice of one's own circuits, and as the quality of the Seal would be inevitably tied to the quality of the circuit used to craft it, it was not Magecraft to be used lightly, even by those privy to such a secret.

The Seals Alexandria could forge from her circuits would be even mightier still, since the power of her blood was even greater than that of Justeaze, but it was too great a sacrifice to even consider.

"My Servant.. if you can understand me, I'm going out. I would appreciate it if you would shadow me for the duration of this outing." Alexandria spoke with the poise and grace that suited her station as she rose from her literal slump, but there was no denying the undercurrent of frustration that ran thickly in her voice. Though she was... put off by her failure, she regarded her Servant with utmost respect; the only reason she referred to it in such a manner was that Servant never did announce it's class.

It did not take long for Alexandria to shed her nightclothes in favor of a more comfortable ensemble and in no time at all she had left the minuscule amount of safety that her hideaway provided, retracted her Bounded Field, and left for the streets.

It didn't take too long for her to run into trouble.

In true Holy Grail War Fashion, the place with the highest concentration of supernatural activity was the Hyde Park which was, as fate would have it, a simple stone throw away from her quaint little home away from home. They -couple of young women dressed casual, maybe younger than Alexadria herself if not quite close to her in age- seemed to be a pair of inexperienced wanderers when compared two one who immersed herself in the moonlit world and the pair with them -the ones emanating enough power that they could probably match her maximum output casually- were obviously their Servants.

Thinking that the dawn was imminent and with it came safety, Alexandria nonchalantly strolled towards them with the confidence of Queen visiting her subjects; being allowed to flippantly address Barty demanded nothing less.

"Top of the morning to you ladies." Alexandria announced her presence with a disarming smile and bright, glimmering eyes. If these women were dragged into this as well, then they may be willing to work with her, and if not... well she was certain she would be able to escape them, if not outright dominate them in combat. "Waiting to catch the sunrise as well?"

"I'm already here" Melvin said walking forward to the overseer. "I came down shortly after my servant when I heard her talking." Melvin stated looking around the room full of cheap props and then to the overseer. Melvin didn't really know what to make of his surrounds and the strangely dress man in front of him. But even so Melvin knew to never to judge a book by it's cover. Melvin was listening to him speak before and when said sent to, it answered one of Melvin questions of if he was involved in gifts but also bought even more questions. But the only way to get answers was to ask the questions.

"My name I Melvin D. Rogers... And while my family is aware of how it sounds I ensure you for generates now we have not been pirates." Melvin said looking for a place to sit. After find a stray chair he turned it to face the overseer before sitting down. "Now my good as you can guess I have many questions to ask but lets start with the biggest two. Who are you and how did you organize this war? Because from what rumors I've heard the Grail War already had all it's contestants but I here I woke up this morning and I have a command seal and a present from you. Thank you by the way for providing her for" Melvin said calmly but with a serious under tone as gestured to Archer.

"Mmm. Mmm. Good questions, alas, one of those is what you call a trade secret." The Overseer made some sort of gesture of apology. "I'm aware withhold information is probably the number one way to lose someone's trust, but there are a few things that need to be played close to the chest. Yeah? Yeah." Idly, he checked his watch. Frankly, he'd been hoping for some more exciting questions, but he supposed complaining about it while on the job would be uncouth.

"The autobiography, however, isn't that secret. Rejoice, child!"

...

"Just kidding. My name is Jaune Fawn. Please don't make fun of it. A deadbeat mage enjoying his early retirement."
A few years ago, he'd have been ashamed of that, but now... "The backstory isn't important, but if you're wondering why that other war had to go down the gutter, well..."

"...The Clock Tower monopolizing the whole thing is just kind of unfair, don't you think?"

Archer actually deigned to snort at the accusation of piracy. Melvin was not anywhere near cut out for it. Powerful mage or not, she really couldn't see him on any sort of ship. The overseer reminded her of someone who was very dear to her heart though. An acquired taste she had to admit but one she liked. How appropriate the war would start with such trickery. "To lose trust would imply you had it in the first place," She said, though she doubted this overseer was lying, "And I am not a 'gift' to be given or taken, Melvin. You should be honored by my temporary service to you." She fixed Melvin with a icy glare but looked to the Overseer with a more relaxed expression, "This goes beyond monopolization Juane. You and whoever the other overseers are saw it fit to edit the rules of the war, to make it more 'interesting' I believe the term was? I would know why. "

Melvin of course wasn't to happy about one of his questions be pushed aside and just labeled trade secret. But as man of business he could see the need for secrets. So for now Melvin was fine with the how he created the war to be secret as there was other matters to worry about for time being. Like his servant glaring at him for referring to her as gift. "My apologize my dear archer, I was using a more acute choose of words based on how your presented to me." Melvin said to Archer calmly as usual. With that said Melvin put his focus back to Jaune. "I do have to agree with my partner here. As a business man I know full well about monopolization and how it can be necessary in some cases. Such as with water and electric companies. And I saw no reason why The Clock Tower shouldn't monopolize this. This contest is dangerous one that could lead large scale damage and their involve lowers the over all damage. So Mr.Fawn what made you and your possible co-workers take such a contests into your own hands?" Melvin said smoothly and calmly as he leaned back in his chair.

"Sheesh. Talk about biting the hand that feeds." Inquisitive types like this were always a hassle to deal with. Whatever happened to the days where people didn't sweat the small stuff? At least they were asking questions that were easy enough to answer.

"Call it a public service. A wish is something that everyone wants, so, opening one up to people from all walks of life is just the proper thing to do, right? Good beats evil, yada yada, so it's not like the Grail's going to end up in the hands of some world ending psychopath. Probably. Risk and reward though, right? I'd much rather put the Grail in the hands of some average joe who knows the woes of modern life than some stuffy Root-loving Tower Mage."

"As for why the rules got a facelift..." That there was a tougher question. "Er. Something along the lines of making this a proper war. Kill or be killed and the like. Maybe that goes against the whole public service thing, but ah... The sponsors have their tastes, I suppose."

And they were a pain in his ass, he left unsaid.

"Anything else?"

It seems Lenka was mistaken. Thanks be to the heavens that she restrained herself from punching first and asking the question after. Still, it was impossible for her to ignore the feeling of passion welling in her fist. Maybe the woman before Lenka had a cousin, a relative or twin, that Lenka had traded blows with, in this life or another. Lenka was about to ask but was cut off, the redhead inquired about a box, the same box Lenka had forgotten about completely. She went on to say something about responding to the summons, which piqued Lenka's interest. She began removing the drum from her back so she could retrieve the box.

Completely absorbed in the search, she didn't even notice that one of the members of this conversation vanished, then reappeared only to vanish again. Lenka, finally, found the box and was reading the letter within. Her face shown no emotion as her eyes scanned the page. Once finished she nodded as if to affirm her understanding. She put the letter away and looked back at the redhead.

"So, here's what I gleaned from that. There's gonna be a fight for a cup, seems to be a tag team battle. Everything else the letter said flew over my head, but I think I got the important parts." The girl wore her ignorance like a badge, smiling a toothy grin while giving her abhorrently simplified explanation of the content of the letter. "I have nothing else to do, so I guess it wouldn't hurt to go. Plus, when I win I bet I could pawn off the cup for some change ya know!" Lenka spoke without a hint of arrogance. For the most part, it was clear by her tone her claim of victory wasn't all that serious. "Did you get invited too? We could head to the station together, maybe grab some grub, your treat of course."

Before the woman had the chance to talk, a third party joined in on the conversation. She seemed kind enough in her greeting. Lenka took the initiative and answered her question. One arm wrapped around the redhead and Lenka leaned into the woman with friendly intent. "Actually me and milady here were about to go grab a bit to eat. You can join us if you want, pay for half the bill too!"

Assassin
Assassin had been waiting for orders from it's master. Upon listening to the master's orders, it obediently followed them through. It was just acting like a mindless dog that mindlessly follows it orders. If Assassin were to manifest, it would just do nothing except follow it's master. Assassin followed through her master's orders 'following' her outside of the room. Assassin was nearby in spirit, but not in body as it retained it's spiritual form. It was needless for it to be out unless her master was getting attacked, or it was out looking for a personal interest. After all despite being Assassin, she had retained the lowest caliber of the class skill.

When her master entered the room, Assassin was prepared to jump at them. There were obviously servants and most likely masters in the room. However the downside was that there was a person who was telling them information. It stayed put. If someone were to react negatively towards it's master then it'll attack them, if the master ordered an attack it'll attack them. Regardless of what could happened, Assassin stayed put in her spiritual form. It quietly waited and 'listened' to every detail.
