Fantasy Farewell To Kings: Blue's House Curriculum

"I-I don't know the spell. I didn't cast anything. It just happened." She said quickly as she returned, keeping her head low. Eyes still trailed to her, words still rang through her ears. Insane. Evil. Monster. She pushed the thoughts down, burying her hands in her pockets

Robert groaned and held the wand at her. “Cmon, don’t hide the good stuff!”
The professor shooed the energetic lad aside so Keres could train with the professor.

“Here, start with an energy channel. Open the gates of power and let it flow. You should feel the swirling pools of your mana when you do this.”
The professor had a field of blue energy swirl around him.
“Most pools spin counter-clockwise, but if you feel it going another way, don’t resist, just pull the energy out how it feels comfortable.”
Keres would notice the skeleton hand had a clockwise turn. The head pool was blocked completely, which made the aura around her turn black.
“How do you feel?” Goldleaf asked.

She observed his calm energy wishing hers would only obey. It lashed and was constantly trying to change directions. "I-I don't know... I-I don't feel anything." She replied hastily

The professor walked up and observed. He pointed at her stomach. “Your center pool is closed, as is your head. You cannot maintain proper flow without those two chambers open. Imagine your body like a series of dammed rivers.”

Robert was listening, waving his wand in the air as he fired again, this time hitting the target dead center.
“Woosh! That’s it!” He announced.
The professor put his hand to Keres’ face and channeled his positive energy. The pools started to open for her, and the flow became much stronger and focused. For a moment, she felt alive with magical energy coursing through her veins.
“Odd... your head pool is swirling in two directions. Positive and negative. That could explain why you’re having difficulty.”

A sensation rippled over her body. It felt wrong, and yet wonderful at the same time. It felt like breathing underwater. She felt her body push and prepare to attack. The black aura surrounded her, towering over her teacher. She gasped and pulled back, the magic returning. Her heart raced and her other hand tingled. She glanced down, the tips of her fingers were beginning to turn.
