I thinking retconning Akuji a tiny bit. I'll have him be interacting with three souled versions of himself every time he sleeps since time doesn't speed up when he sleeps. They would act like checkpoints for him, discussing how he did at the end of the day and would rarely chirp in the real world.

I think it adds a bit more to him but I'm curious what others think.
