"Oh yeah they're mortal things, well a dorm is a communal living space humans share when they go to schools like boarding schools and colleges and they're usually shared by two or more people typically 2 or 3 maybe at times 4 and they can either be all girl and all boy or they can be co-ed which is when boys and girls share a dorm and AC stands for air conditioning which is a little box humans put in their homes to make it cool in the summer and vice versa they have this thing called heating that they put in their homes to make it warm in the winter." Both girls were a little taken aback when they noticed he didn’t paid any attention on the whole discussion they were having. Featherine was the first one to speak again. ”Bread? Are you seriousl- I can’t- For the love of-” She couldn’t manage to finish her sentence, so she sighted and calmed herself before speaking once more. ”Mana, magical energy, you can’t possibly have become a Senior without at least knowing what it is.”

Finally Cassandra intervened to defuse the situation. ”Of course he knows what mana is, c’mon relax! Anyway, we were wondering if you knew of some kind of magical battery capable of storing mana. You know, in order to resolve my little issue.” A year of being a ghost was enough, it was fun but Cassandra needed to have her body again. Yeah she’s used to it by now but still, there’s no pleasure on being incorporeal forever. ”Among us you are the only one capable of leaving, that’s why we ask.”

Featherine nods. ”Yes, building such an artifact from zero would be complicated, even for us and the library doesn’t exactly have material on the subject either.” She sighs. ”Helping Cassandra is going to be a lot of work and preparations.”

Megan pulled her hoodie on her face and pulled the strings, hiding her face away. The lady slightly frowned at a few other faces. They hadn't been on her list but she shrugged. They could have been forgotten and if they weren't supposed to be here the headmistress would surely handle it, right? "Alright, I trust everyone is here! Are you all prepared? If not I suggest you get ready because you won't be coming back until the end of the school year, If you think you're ready- I suggest you check just to be sure" She clapped her hands together and the sound echoed through. As she slowly pulled her hands away a white staff formed in between them. She expertly spun it around in her hand and a portal opened in front of her and her eyes turned violet as it opened, getting darker the longer it was open. The portal led to the auditorium of Faray high. "Come one and walk right through!" Megan looked uneasy and didn't know how to feel about this but went through the portal anyway and looked around the room with big eyes. "This place is huge-"

Enyu suddenly was feeling a bit tired. He really wanted to talk more with his new friend.. if they even were friends, but he couldn't keep his eyes open to do so. Maybe it was the light? Enyu did not like lights of any type, probably because he was a vampire, but this hatred of lights had been going on for longer than he could remember. He let out a small yawn before noticing the new boy that had been sitting with them, he really wanted to introduce himself to him.. But before Enyu knew it, his vision had gone blurry. Leading him to unfortunately fall asleep.. Enyu would not be happy with himself when he woke up.

Megan gave Iris a small smile while pulling the drawstring of her hoodie tighter, her bookbag laid on her lap. She looked at the other people enter through the portal then at the lady sitting on the edge of the stage seeming confused. She looked back at Iris before whispering, "Do you have any idea who that is?" She asked while trying to stay quiet. She didn't know if the lady could hear well enough and didn't really want to find out. PansexualPanic

Tisharia swung her legs back and forth as she watched the students take their seats and socialize with others with a calm expression, hands resting in her own lap before she stood and stomped her heeled shoe on the stage floor, attempting to grab the students attention. The loud, echoing thud could even be heard through the portal. "Hello, students and welcome to Faray high! I implore you to all take a seat so we may get orientation started!" She then held her hands behind her back as she glanced at the students still standing. "Of course old students of this school may leave if they would like to but if they stay I expect a proper introduction from them." She then smiled, which is something she barely did but of course, it was only forced so that she wouldn't come off so intimidating to the new students. She looked at the bunch she had worked with a year before with brow raised. She was asking an obvious question without even opening her mouth, "Do you want to introduce yourselves?" The look itself said.

She felt a small need to know more about Iris rather it was for the reason that she didn't get mad when Megan almost accidentally burned her or maybe she just found her interesting."So are you new here or know someone who's here at the moment?" "Haha, well, as a vampire, do you get to live for hundreds of years? Wait..." Michael remembered he once heard that vampires always look young "You could already be 100 years old! How old are you exactly?!". For a history nerd like Michael, meeting really old people is a blessing. As they talked Enyu began to drift off, and one "Akuji / Dan the Party Animal" made a dramatic entrance. The tall and muscly man accompanying "Dan" made his way over, so Michael gave a small but strong wave of greeting. The man called him a "badass rebel" which made him chuckle and sat the boy next to them.
Michael, in a relaxing smile as always, after Akuji introduced himself, said, "Good to meet you! I am Michael, this is my new friend Enyu" He said as he shook the now sleeping Enyu with his elbow, and held Enyu's arm up for the staff member.
"Hes a vampire, and I'm, hmm, some sort of ancient hero in the wrong millennium, ... and latitude" Michael tried to stop himself from laughing at his own personal joke. "No soul!? Well I am very interested to get to know you!"
The staff member opened a portal, and Michael watched the spectacle unfold intensely.
"Well, "If You Think You're Ready"" He said in the staff member's tone, "Lets head through shall we?".

Enyu had woke up by the slightest movement, he rubbed his eyes and was a bit confused on where he was before he remembered. He had also been confused on why he was drooling a bit.. And then realized that he was sleeping. He then lifted his head up to see that some new people have arrived, including that one boy. He shook his head and lightly slapped his cheeks to ensure that he was in fact, awake. He then sat up straight and let out one more yawn. He then turned his head to see Michael still by his side, "Oops!! Sorry Michael..! I didn't mean to.. Fall asleep on you!" The boy explained.

She slowly nodded. "Well I'm new here as well but you're so far the only person I've talked to- I mean...So many of the people here are...colorful or unique and I'm just one of the uninteresting ones.." She paused for a moment and tried to change the subject. "Well! I suppose maybe we could stick together since were both a bit new to this place!" She smiled.

The red-haired faerie watched as the strange, cheery woman opened the portal to the auditorium. Everything about this school was odd and she hadn’t even made it past the threshold. But what had she expected? Something like her old school? She had to constantly remind herself that this was a school of magic. It wasn’t suppose to be ordinary.

After a moment of hesitation, Quinn followed the rest of the students through the portal and into Faray High's auditorium that lay beyond the other side of the portal. The room that she stepped into was grand to say the least and there were already quite a few students seated. Her golden gaze flickered about the room, taking in every detail she could as she perched herself in one of the nearby open seats. She pulled her duffel bag over her lap and continued to quietly observe her surroundings.

Featherine was about to argue with Jamie about his serious transgressions, she couldn’t believe the irresponsibility of her senior and the bad example was setting, but she noticed the arrival of the new students so she just whispered. ”We’ll talk about it later…” Her tone was more disappointed than angry, rules meant a lot to her and he just broke each and every one. Noticing the tone of the headmistress and her arched brow, she waited for the right moment and stood up. With a little impulse she flew to the stage momentarily, facing everyone. Her voice smooth but loud enough for everyone to hear, the light orbs focused the light on her. ”Nice to meet you everyone, my name is Featherine Frost.” She extends both arms, bringing their attention to the winter wonderland decorations. ”I welcome you to Faray High.” She made a little curtsey with both arms still extended and then went back to her seat, in order to let everyone else introduce themselves.

Cassandra had to hold a laugh at that display of superiority, she levitated momentarily to face everyone but didn’t move to the stage. ”Well Hello!” There was no formal addressing, no superiority complex, just a simple greeting. ”I’m Cassandra Blair, Senior student. Feel free to call me Cassie, ok?” She winked at them with her left eye, vanishing from sight momentarily while she descended back to her chair. Then, she allowed her presence to be seeing once again, for the less trained eye it would appear to be teletransportation but it was just moving while invisible. She whispered now to Jamie. ”Go, time to shine little deer.” She giggled softly, she knew how much he wanted to welcome everyone.

Megan lightly blushed and her first instinct was to hide it. Even though her hoodie covered most of her face already Megan slightly tilted her head and spoke quietly. "No worries! You might have missed it but see that large whole in the fabric of the universe over there? We were told to go through". Michael gestured to Akuji, "This is Akuji, and according to him, he does not in fact have a soul. Give a wave Akuji." He said lightheartedly.
Beckoning his companions, Michael walked to the portal, and suddenly stopped. Taking a deep sigh he went back to his bags he left at his seat and dug through them to find a fresh heavy winter down.
To Enyu and Akuji he said, "I might not be so friendly in the next room, forgive me. I do not take the cold well." Rubbing his arms Michael went through the portal, only looking up to observe the alien portal as he went through, and sat in the nearest seat.

Enyu nodded, gave a small wave to Akuji and followed close behind Michael. He was glad he wore a sweater due to the sudden drop in the temperature, he eventually got through and took his place right next to Michael.

After the introduction, he waved at the boy as a small little greeting. He couldn't take the next few short seconds of silence and attempted to make conversation, "Michael, do you not like the cold?" He asked in a light whisper, before cringing at the dumb question.. Anyone with eyes could see that Michael did not particularly favor the cold and cursed himself for asking such an obvious question. He took his arms out of his sleeves as a way to warm himself up.

"Oh yes, same! I brought all types of shades of the boldest colors and paintings." Her eyes seemed to light up with excitement as she told Iris. "I have so many ideas for how the room to be decorated! what type of plants do you have?" Megan hadn't paid much attention to the other two girls who had introduced themselves to the group of students but when Jamie began to speak she looked his way a bit startled but quickly relaxed again and nodded as she made a mental note that he might be a good person to have in her corner. She then looked around the rest of the room and saw Quinn sit alone. She smiled and waved at the girl, gesturing her over to sit by her and Iris. She also turned her attention to the few others who were by themselves but she figured she would just settle for these two. They seemed to like her type of people and she had already got used to the atmosphere and size of the room itself so at this moment she let her true colors show, unfortunately, that meant her being stupidly and insanely bold.

"Do you not like the cold?" Enyu said. The question's phrasing implied to Michael that perhaps the speaker does like the cold, but the speaker was wearing a sweater so he was not sure.
"I do not like the cold." Michael replied tersely. " ... Don't worry about me I will be fine". He said it not so much because it was true, but more to make it true.
Michael stopped rubbing his legs and arms to gesture Akuji to sit with them next to Enyu, calling if necessary.
