Fantasy Roleplay Starter

I open my mouth to try to argue my case about spiders, but think twice and shut it again, instead choosing to look ahead.

"Well, any guesses as to what it could've been?"

I hold my mace up, my hand glowing slighty.

I think for a moment about the brief flash that I saw. Turning from you I gaze out in its approximate direction again.

"I'm not sure, it moved away from us instead of towards us so I can't say whether it was a threat or not."

I draw my bow and still in a crouch, inche forward slowly but steadily.

"We need to follow as best we can, it might lead us to where we need to go." I say and motion forward.

It could lead us or it might end up being a false chase, not knowing which it was had yet to make itself apparent.

I follow behind trying to be as stealthy as possible, but with the way my armor clans it's near impossible. I stop moving and sigh.

"It's probably better if you sneak up by yourself. I'm a dead giveaway."

I knew you spoke true, clanking metal armor was the exact opposite of stealth and would certainly give us away.

"What will you do then?" I ask in intrigue. I could blend easily and move without much sound because of my abilities and skills as a ranger but at the same time I felt that I shouldn't just leave you by yourself. I wouldn't call it worry as I knew that you can hold up to a heavy fight but something about you made me want you close by and in the thick of the action when the real fight started.

"Hmm.....what if you sneak about near the trees and I'll move ahead to whatever is moving. If they're hostile, I'll try to distract them as long as I can before we fight so you can get a shot off."

I ran my free hand through my hair as I said my plan out loud, the white magic leaving little tiny glowing streaks of white in my hair that slowly dissapeared.

I listen and analyzes at the same time. Fro

Where we were the trees grew thicker, much more likely to hold my body without breaking.

"Good idea, I'll follow closely from the shadow of the trees there," I say and point at one of the larger trees. It's thick, black bark easily manageable.

As you move run your hand through your hair just as you did with your spell. I'll adapt my True Sight to register it better. A signal if you need someone taken out that's in your way. from there it's up to you to punch a hole, I'll join you as the fighting starts."

I turn my head away again to make last minute adjustments in my mind.
