Fantasy Fantasy Quest

Field

A group of bandits and mages was taking the caravan from the workers that were driving it. The workers were farmers who were taking their goods to be sold in one of the towns.

The bandits had used an explosion to stop the farmers and then quickly got on the wagon and made the people leave.

The owners of the wagon looked at the people and dragon coming towards them. "They stole our caravan!" one of them said. "They've got knives and can make things explode! Can you help us?"

Town

The guards had retreated so they could take their weapons and go.

Colosseum

The big demon monster died. Tsuka released the shield from around it. With most of the other people knocked unconscious and one of the monsters destroyed, all attention was on Tsuka, Ashlyn and Jayto.

"Should we fight the other two monsters..?" Tsuka said quietly, standing near his allies. "Or go into the stands and make a run for it?"

He asked, scanning the audience for a door out of the colosseum.

Field - Fridolin Brun

Fridolin caught up to Jeremiah just as the ex-wagon owners gave their plee.

"Sounds like we've found ourselves a quest. What do you say?" He asked eagerly, and then more quietly he added, "And I don't mean to alarm you, but there's a dragon in those trees, and he's looking at us"

Field - Jeremiah Sky
Jeremiah slowed down towards the farmers and took a breather. “Y-yeah, well... go after them, “ he panted. “You guys don’t need to worry.” Jeremiah walked past the farmers and examined what the bandits have done. They have some sort of magic and knives for combat. I guess those bandits REALLY needed that caravan. He thought. Jeremiah didn’t know how to fight or even fly with his wings yet. But, his mindset wanted to help these poor farmers. Jeremiah felt a sense of adrenaline again and smiled.

“Fridolin, let’s help these guys,” he said. “That dragon and my other buddy are going to help us as well.” Jeremiah prepared once again to chase after the bandits. Fridolin says that he is a mage, I guess I should try to mumble out some magic with this rod. Jeremiah strategized.

Drake Templeton

Drake joined the two of them. Sniffing the burning cart. Agh, all those stories about dragons having a good sense of smell were lies. He could barely smell anything save for the smoke coming out of his nose. Unless that was the smoke from the cart. “Who’s he” asked Drake referring to Fridolin. He scratched his chin. “Do we know how many bad guys we’re dealing with here” asked Drake.

Field – Fridolin Brun

Fridolin watched the dragon poking its head above the trees. Somehow it seemed shy, almost friendly, if it was possible for a dragon to be that. If he had any doubts left, the dragon was certainly proof he wasn’t in the same world he’d gone to sleep in.

“Helloooooo!” He yelled at the dragon, waving his staff above his head, “I’m Fridolin the mage!”

Turning to Jeremiah and noticing the embarrassed look on his face, he said somewhat quieter, “How goods his hearing?”

(Jesus let's just not get notifs)

Colosseum

Ashlyn sighed in relief as the monster died, then looked around. "I doubt we could run, but no harm in trying." She puts the dagger in her belt, then ran to the wall, crouching low and putting her hands out. "Up, come on!" She tells them, bracing for their weight

Colosseum

Tsuka made sure he had his weapon and ran to the wall. He stepped into the foothold and was sent upwards, grabbing the lowest ledge of the wall. He pulled himself up and helped the others up.

He ran ahead and took out his gun. The noble in charge of the event looked entertained. His guards stood up, ready to fight. Tsuka kept away and aimed his weapon at the noble.

"Order your guards to open the doors!" Tsuka yelled

A guard, weapon ready, was going to rush at him, then the nobleman called him to let it go. He told them to open the doors in the audience.

The guards reluctantly opened one of the doors.

"Go!" Tsuka yelled at Ashlyn and Jayto, standing in front of the noble pointing the gun at him.

Colosseum

Jayto Seraph

The battle was finished and from the looks of it all it was time to escape. Breaking into a sprint Jayto yanked his scythe out of the ground before shadowing behind Tsuka up-over the wall via the Cat-lady. With an exchange of words and the pointing of a gun, the exit was available. Now looking at Tsuka, Jayto nodded to him before making a run for it, a run right out through the doors.

Colosseum

After the other two went up, Ashlyn climbed her way up on her own, coming over the edge as the doors were opened. She followed Jayto, only offering a glance back at Tsuka as she ran through the doors.

Drake Templeton

“My hearing’s fine” commented Drake. Going into a sitting position. “Name’s Drake. If we’re making our own titles I’m going by Drake the friendly dragon” he said.

Colosseum

They were out of the arena, but the big round hallway outside showed that it would take more effort to get out of there. The hallway went in a wide circle around the battlefield and audience. Eventually if they went through the hall they would find a way out.

Tsuka watched as his allies listened to him and escaped. Tsuka was going to follow when he remembered the others down in the battle. Most were unconscious (?) and the guards were putting the monsters away in the lairs again.

"One more request..." Tsuka said, shade covering the top of his face. "Open the gates to release the prisoners."

The noble's guards looked furious. The nobleman continued with an amused smile.

The footsteps of guards were heard coming through the halls, going after Jayto and Ashlyn didn't leave soon.

Field - Fridolin Brun

Bowing deeply with his cloak spread wide, Fridolin addressed Drake, "My apologies, and that's as fine a title as many, if not finer"

Then turning towards the whole group he added " This shouldn't be a problem. Jeremiah and I will go and talk to these mages, mage to mage. It must have been a misunderstanding as I can't believe mages would act like this."

Seeing the faces of the people surrounding him, it seemed he'd succeeded somewhat in reassuring the ex-wagon owners and putting them at ease.

"What do you say Jeremiah, Drake?"

Colosseum

Ashlyn kept running, looking eventually for a way out. She could see out through the large openings, but the drop was so high she didn't think she would make it unscathed. She kept moving forward, looking a set of stairs or even just a ladder down.

Drake looked at the people in the caravan. He’d give them credit for being brave enough to ask what had to be the weirdest group ever brought together. An Amazon if Karen showed up, two wizards. And himself a dragon. Upon hearing Fridolin’s question Drake answered by saying. “If they attacked innocent people they may not want to talk”.

Colosseum

There were stairs leading down into the ground level where there were wide openings leading out of the colosseum.

Eventually Tsuka caught up with them and they left the big building.

"Good job guys. Thanks for your help, Tsuka said as they moved towards the road. The colosseum was near a big town. There were only paved and dirt roads leading away from the town. Tsuka suggested they avoid the town

"Where are you going now?"

DARREN
COLOSSEUM ENTRANCE

Darren woke up with a start. He felt like he had just been drugged or something, or perhaps was suffering from a massive hangover, as his head was spinning like a lathe. His sense of direction was about as useful as a broken compass, and his stomach felt like it was about to explode. He did not feel well, in other words.

So, he just lay in the grass for a while, letting the cool outside breeze wash over him, as he breathed heavily. After a few minutes, his vision began to return to him, and his stomach began to settle down - about time. He stood up with a grunt, as he instinctively grasped at the piece of cloth covering his face. Something like that was sure to set off his itching, if he wasn't careful - why was he even wearing the thing? He pulled it down, and felt something very odd...or, rather, didn't feel anything. The pain from his burns was gone - the industrial accident that had took his face seemed fine, now! Except...as he prodded his face further, he felt that the burn seemed to have spread across his entire head, and down to his shoulders - it was never that bad before. Not even when he first suffered the burn.

Then, there was the question of his clothing. What was he wearing? He looked like an evil mage or something from one of those D&D books or something...then, he noticed it. In a black leather sheath, with a spider embroidered onto it, sat a strange blade. It seemed to be made in the visage of a spider, but that wasn't the issue...he could not figure out what the metal was. And, for someone like him, that was very worrying. He gazed over it, holding it upwards to gain better view, before putting it back where it belonged. It took him a while, but he eventually noticed his surroundings.

Where exactly was he? As he pondered, he noticed a group of people coming from a giant Colosseum. Since it was the closest building he could see, he decided to head towards it. As he walked, he placed his mask back on - unaware that his eyes were glowing an unsettling purple.

Field

The caravan continued moving on the dirt path.

Town

The armed knights stared at the people on the stage. "What do we do? We thought they wanted to run off. They're still we captured them."

Colosseum

"We go down, and we run." She said simply, taking the stairs down two at a time with ease as she reached the ground and ran out through one of the openings. She trucked down a man with purple eyes, rolling and in one smooth motion pulling the dagger. "Don't move! Who are you?" She questioned, too far to do much but she could probably close the distance quickly.

Colosseum

Tsuka noticed the person coming towards them. He didnt care who it was since he wasn't a guard or fighter sent to stop them.

Tsuka didnt plan on staying with Ashlyn or Jayto. He just needed to get home. But he wasnt going to leave them until he knew they were free fom this place.

He hid his weapon again before coming beside Ashlyn, looking at the man.

Field - Jeremiah Sky
“Well, I just want to start helping them first,” he replied to Fridolin’s question. He wore a determined smile on his face and was so pumped up. “Don’t worry, we’ll get your caravan back!” He motioned his magical rod to get Fridolin and Drake chasing after the bandits. Jeremiah began sprinting after the tracks of the stolen caravan.

“C’mon guys, the caravan won’t save itself!” The hyperactive angel exclaimed.

Town

Adrian wiped the blood from around his mouth and lick it out of instinct,"Ugh....Sorry....We both did something terrible.....your action was out of self-defense, but my actions....I don't even know what I am anymore.....I just sucked the blood of another person and I just licked it up like a starving animal."Adrian groaned as he slowly began to recover from the sun's damage. Adrian stood up and shook his legs and did a few jumps to make sure he could still move,"OK, what's your name again?" The older male asked as he took the lead ducking into an alley.

town
but not really

"Fr-franklin." Franklin said. "Franklin Darling. A-and you?" Was the stranger right? Had Franklin acted out of self defense? The man was pinned though. Unarmed. Was it really self defense to hit someone while they were down? Uggh. Thinking about it made Franklin's head hurt. It was like something out of star wars.

Drake prowled after the angel. A great billow of smoke was coming out of his nose, as his powerful tail left furrows in the ground. “Well I’ve got nothing better to do” he commented.

( Thank you!)

Rose: Field
Rose heard some voices around her, her wolf like ears twitched to the side some and slowly opened her eyes. Where was she? Who was these people and why did she feel so weird? The last thing Rose remembered was being at home...cleaning her house, then she woke up in some strange place. She wasn't even sure if she wanted to speak to these strangers. The young woman rose to her feet, thinking about what she should do. She might as well walk over and ask, so she did
