Hello! Remember all of the characters are from the modern world. They will look the same as they do in the normal world. If they are a different race in the fantasy world they can look different.

Characters should be age 10-90.

You can make their appearance in a pic or write how they look.

Background: (Who are they in the normal world? It can be a simple answer, student, single guy in apartment, leader of Teletubby Cult, etc)

Each character starts with one power or skill. Powers in this story are in two groups

Active and Passive

Active are abilities used in combat or upon command. Using an earth attack would be an active ability.

Being unable to be hurt by earth attacks is a passive power, because it doesnt require your character to put effort to use it. It just happens on its own. Everyone starts with one ACTIVE power.

Power: Cursed touch: Jun-Ai can touch something and imbue it with her mark. The first time, the time it takes to touch it is halved, and then that time is halved and so on. This process continues until her hands reach something so fast that it just breaks.
Background: Born half-chinese, Jun-Ai felt fine, though a bit bothered by simply being Jun. This is her attitude with most things, only begrudgingly letting it go. But she didn't end up the her to familiy business; instead, following her uncle's footsteps and teaching martial arts. This relationship was tentative at first, with her uncle not believing that a woman could take it seriously, maybe at best branching off into wing Chun and leaving the men to their own discipline. Regardless, Jun-Ai excelled and took over.

Anything else: Though she is not incredibly smart, Jun-Ai does have common sense; there is nothing more she hates than a lier and being told what to do by other people. Now that she is away from her home there is no longer a subject for her filial piety so she will walk her own path.

Weapons: Axe, fists, feet, headbutts, and anger management issues.

Karen enters a berserk frenzy. Her strength doubles, and she ignores the effects of fatigue and pain for the duration. While she ignores pain, she still sustains injury and can be knocked out or killed. The effect ends when she can no longer move, runs out of things to smash, or runs out of stamina (about ten minutes). Afterwards, she feels the full effects of fatigue and pain at once. She must rest between uses.

Background: Ironically, Karen was a broke, nerdy art major graduate before her arrival. Stressed by her debt, her lack of a job, and her family's insistence that she find a 'real career,' she welcomes the chance to vent her frustrations on anything within axe reach.

Background: Tsuka is a college student that is bored. He often thinks that theres no reason for him to live other than doing normal daily routines. Basically seeking adventure.

Power: (Active) Angelic Heal. Able to heal himself or anyone else from wounds, doesn’t fully heal though.

Personality: He is an all-around nice guy, the goody two-shoes if you will. Jeremiah holds in his anger and frustration all the time, almost never showing any signs of them. However, he is a hyper-active person even if he doesn’t look like it. He does use common sense to try to balance his hyper-activity.

Background: Graduating from a music school, Jeremiah wanted to become the number one musician. He wanted spread his message of positivity in his music with a funky beat. Unfortunately, Jeremiah couldn’t find a way to share them. Nobody wanted to give him a chance, but Jeremiah was still determined that he would find his opportunity somehow.

Anything else: Jeremiah has a habit of making his own sound effects. He has a British accent, not a thick accent.

Name: Anthony Robert

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Weapons: Steel Spear

Personality: Anthony Robert is somewhat bold, but more or less shy. He values life above all else, and won't pick a fight for the sake of fighting. He hates seeing the weak and poor be treated like trash and is really mellow in most situations.

Power: He is able to use a buff spell, that enhances him and his allies speed and strength for a short amount of time. (30 seconds)

Background: Anthony used to be a police cadet, hoping he could work as a police officer he got put into training programs where he was introduced to the fundamentals of law enforcement. Sometimes he would be put with another officer on patrol, or help other officers with road hazards and such. But his lack of certainty made his training difficult, and threatened his hopes of working in law enforcement. But when he wasn't training for his job, he would be playing medieval MMOS with his friends, and making cosplay costumes for upcoming comicon events.

Power: a shield spell that allows him to block an enemies attack once per use. Cooldown of 20 minutes.

Personality: Franklin is filled with boundless optimism and a deep affection for anyone who he formed an attachment too. Childlike in his ways, franklin is very trusting. He also has a very negative reaction to teasing and bullying due to years of it happening to him.

Background: rich middle school student, Franklin was constantly teased by the other students for a myriad of things. Franklin often spent his days daydreaming about other worlds and places.

Anything else: Prefers to be called Frankie (which is a pet name his mom called him).

Background: Rose was born into a wealthy family as the family's only child. Since her father was busy with work, Rose had spend most of her time with her mom in garden. It didn't take long for Rose gain a passion for gardening,just like her mother. Her life was pretty good, but changed drastically when her mother died to an unknown sickness. After her death, both Rose and her father changed. Her father was more strict on her and Rose became more to her self. She stayed in her mother's garden,tending to it, however, Rose's father thought it was a waste of time and ordered the maid to burn it and demanded Rose to keep up with her studies. The devastated Rose had no choice and did what she said, but the rage and sadness she felt inside couldn't be contained much longer.Her father's butler noticed and decided to help Rose control her self by mentally and physically training her, one of his training courses was swordsplay and hand to hand combat.As Rose grew older, She decided to set off on her own, where she became a Gardner and lived peacefully by her self

Adrian used to be an overly aggressive kid with anger issues and would get into many fights. His mother was a psychologist and his father was a cop so when he would get in trouble he would literally get busted by his father and end up in his mother's office. Now, most people were terrified of Adrian's father because he was a rather muscular tall black guy and a cop, but Adrian would literally scoff at teachers and authority figures. His mother, on the other hand, had Adrian in her pocket. He was absolutely terrified of her, most people didn't understand until one day he stopped coming to school regularly and when he did he would show up beaten and bruised. Now, Adrian wasn't getting abused at home, instead, his mother was teaching him martial arts and how to control his anger. She kicked his butt backward and forwards until he could control himself. As Adrian got older he still problems with his anger and it ruined many relationships, and he hated whenever he would get angry he would instantly regret it, always wishing he was somewhere else.

Race: Tabaxi/Kajit/Cat-People

Weapons: Longbow

Power: Sapper- She can imbue herself and her weapons with an energy that when hit, drains enemy stamina over time, making them feel fatigued, the effect gets stronger as more hits are landed until the point of rendering the enemy unconscious.

Background: Ash was a Paramedic before this, and before that she had been a Marksman in the Kommando Spezialkräfte (KSK), having been rather talented in her marksmanship, deceit, and known for a keen eye. She was a huge fan of fantasy worlds, often spending time with people on DnD or other RPG games similar to that.

Anything else: Her left arm is scarred from a vehicle fire.

Personality: Happy-go-lucky disposition, Waxen enjoys interacting with others even if they show hostility to him. He also is quite fond of dressing up as a crusader no matter the occasion.

Background: Waxen was an office worker while finishing up at college. He also enjoyed Larping with his friends and family as crusaders on a quest to capture the Holy Land. He was also an avid gamer and played TCG in his spare time.

Weapon: sharp bits of his body. Claws, teeth, tail.

Personality: Drake is a friendly person, who likes to make jokes, and be helpful. Even though it can be hard to convince people you mean no harm when you're in the body of a giant dragon.

Background: Drake was a rather smart student who spent most of his free time playing video games, and reading fantasy books. Imagine his suprise when one day he woke up in a strange land in the body of a giant dragon. He is still getting used to his new large size.

Race: Half Human, Half Fox
Weapons: Spear
Power: Create Barrier - Creates a barrier a short distance away from her that blocks anything from going through it, while barrier is up it takes a lot of mental and physical strength and is taken down if Noire is hit by anything.
Background: Noire Snow was abandoned by her family when she was really young, because of this she has had to fend for herself forever and has fought off all enemies by using her power and a giant pointy stick, and now that she has “grown up” she got herself a spear and a hope to save others from the pain she has felt so close to her heart for so long.

Race: Half Human/Half Machine (Cyborg; Only his arms are mechanical though.)

Weapons: Scythe

Power:
Enigmatic Soul: Every time Jayto takes life energy, it fuels a bar on his left arm. When the bar's charge is maximum, he can summon a blue flame that will hover around him. The more flames that are present the longer charging the bar will take. These flames can be use to attack, empower objects, and to take damage in Jayto's place.

Background: After years of being taken cared of by his mother alone he convinced himself to find a career he can enjoy and a way to repay her for all she's done as a parent, and this conviction lead him to start his tertiary education towards a new path through life as a plumber-in-training.

Personality: Jayto is by no means a jerk nor is he callus enough to leave someone in need to suffer, but if becoming a young adult taught him anything? It's to always look out for number one, and those that contribute positively to his situation. He's extremely loyal if you get close enough, and would do as much as
you would do for him, making him a somewhat dependable individual. Otherwise, truth be told he'll avoid anything that he believes he can't handle, has nothing to do with him, or that negatively impacts him in anyway.

Name: Fridolin Brun

Age: 21

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Weapons: Quarterstaff (mage)

Power: Weaving flows of air. He can manipulate air, albeit weakly. His strength with this is to the extent at which he can lift small/medium sized objects, such as a stack of books.

Background: He is a physics student who when he isn’t learning physics, is reading fiction books.

Personality: As a physics student and lover of fiction books, including fantasy, he is often daydreaming and lost in his own mind. Nevertheless, he is a happy and friendly person, who is quick to laugh and doesn’t take things too seriously.

Name: Darren 'The Spider' Willis.

Age: 26.

Gender: Male.

Race: Human. Although...not entirely. Muhahahaha. Nah, he just now shares some spider genetics now. This gives him heightened agility, the ability to not be stuck by glue or webbing and gives him sharper teeth that he can inject venom into people as a last resort. His toxin is about enough to paralyse a person, although it takes about a day for his body to remake the dosage again.

Weapon: 'The Spider Fang' - a ritual dagger (you know, the sort you would stick into a maiden to sacrifice her to the gods) that Darren uses when summoning the bigger things. It also really hurts when stuck into someone.

Spoiler: The Spider Fang

Power: The Ritual of the Spider - Darren can summon various spiders and spider themed monsters (driders, spider/human hybrids, demon-esque spiders and so on) at will using rituals. He can summon pretty much any size of spider, from a money spider to a massive spider about the size of a skyscraper, but it takes time to do so. He can summon a spider the size of up to a football (a proper, British football) using no time, but for his 'medium' sized spiders - such as giant spiders, driders and spider warriors - it takes roughly a minute of ritual casting. For bigger spiders (the size of buildings), it takes roughly 10 minutes of casting. Then, there is the Arachnid King. The Arachnid King is roughly the size of a skyscraper, and is his biggest summon. He takes about a half hour to summon.

His spiders all can create webbing slowly, and have a toxic bite - the power of the toxin varies with the size of the spider (a tiny money spider might numb a finger for a bit, but a giant spider will kill). His spider warriors (driders etc) only have what is special to that creature. The Arachnid King, however, has advanced mind control to the point where Darren can use it to control a target at will.

Background: Before he was transported, Darren was a British Engineer working for the motor company Mercedes. He worked as part of the Powertrain team - the team behind the Formula car engines - where he helped to create the various cars that Mercedes have won trophies for. He isn't without fault, however, as he has taken a faceful of searing hot lubrication when one of the machines leaked when he was using it. Don't worry, though - he was compensated well enough. His engineering background has given him pretty solid mathematics and physics knowledge, along with physical strength. It has also given him an engineering mind, allowing him to solve problems quickly and knows quite a lot about various materials - their strength, their weaknesses etcetera.

Anything else: His face was burned by industrial lubrication in an accident about 4 years ago, leaving a portion of his face scarred. While painful if something hot touched it, it wasn't the absolute worst since it just scabbed over and became hard. Although, the scarring seems to have spread to his entire face since he was 'transported' and the pain he suffers from it vanished.

Race: Omnic (Don't judge me) He has a human personality (Does that technically count?)

Weapons: His right hand is replaced with a 20 round automatic reconnaissance Battle Rifle (Is rusted to hell so will take time to actually reload and fire)

Power:

(Passive) Clad in hardened steel armor that is at most one inch thick

(Active) Sentry mode... you already know. (HOWEVER HE NEEDS TO REPAIR IT FIRST AND THEN GIVE IT TIME TO UNRUST AND REARM) Will take three in game weeks to be usable.

Background: In the real world he was an Overwatch Player. More specifically a Bastion player. His real life nickname is in fact actually "Mr. Bastion".

Anything else: His special weapon which will need time to be repaired is the minigun on his back.
