The cuff glowed the same color as the staff and took the energy back. "Just give up." Han said. The Cuff of Mar would never be destroyed. That's why it was locked away after the angel and demon war. It was too dangerous.

Han shrugged. "About instantaneously." He looked up. "You're going to cut off my arm?" His jaw fell open

Even Haiiro was a bit shocked by this, but she couldn't deny the possibility that it may work. "I hate to say this but...go ahead Esh, it's worth a shot."

"I already did." she said as she held up Han's arm that had cuff. "Hope you aren't part starfish."

Hail Leviathan! And Tapatalk!

Shadows surrounded his wound and they formed an arm. The cuff was still on his wrist. "The cuff is basically part of my arm now." He sighed. "Just leave me alone."

The cuff released a wave of energy that transported Esh to the school, on the roof. It also drained her power. Han sighed and lied down

Haiiro's soil had somehow gotten sucked into the cuff when it had drained Esh's power and she was struggling to escape from the cuff.

Eshused the scythe once more. "Who made the cuff, where did he live when did he make it." Esh said as she appeared.

Hail Leviathan! And Tapatalk!

Han looked up. "I did." He shrugged. "Well, in my old life, I did." He nodded. "Yep. My name used to be Mar Alister, demon of energy. That is, until I was demoted to demon of shadows."

Haiiro was shocked to hear that and started to wonder if he might have actually intended to destroy her physical form, she tried to call out but the cuff was keeping her from doing anything, all she could do was listen.

"Tch, going back in time and killing the creator won't work then..." she said. She was worried about Haiiro.

Hail Leviathan! And Tapatalk!

Han shrugged. "You wouldn't be able to kill Mar anyways. Just like my body is shadows, his was energy. Couldn't be killed." He summoned a muffin and began to eat.

Haiiro wondered why Han was so calm, he didn't seem depressed or sad at all, which made her start to wonder if Han had even loved her in the first place. She was too weak to try to break out of the cuff and just stayed there, silently listening. If Han had created it he must have made some way to stop it, right?

Han frowned. "A wish?" He nodded. "Good idea!" He began to think of the perfect wish. "I wish I had butter on this muffin." He held up the half eaten muffin.

Han nodded. "Of course I care. Whenever she says sorry, I'll let her out." He smiled. "I wanted revenge for being a cat."

Haiiro was starting to get angry, she couldn't say sorry because she couldn't say anything, and she was starting to think that Han didn't actually care, so she made a wish in her mind. "I wish this stupid cuff I'm trapped in no longer existed."

Han laughed. "I can hear what you say, Haiiro." He snapped and the spirit was released. "Say sorry, babe."

Haiiro glared at Han angrily, not laughing, not happy, and more pissed then ever, she returned to being inside of Esh and made a wish. "I wish the cuffs that had previously had me trapped no longer existed."

Haiiro slipped out of Esh and a stone appeared in midair, it looked exactly like the stone that Han had retrieved for her. She disappeared to her realm and started trying to recreate her physical form.

Han looked down at his arm while the cuff disappeared for awhile then came back. He sighed. "I'm sorry Haiiro. That wasn't me, it was Mar. Please forgive me." He said to the air, knowing that Haiiro had already left.
