Mahiro opened his bottle the same way he opened the first and pressed it against his lips, drinking. He ducked his head when Vex whacked Cerin and then straightened his posture again, laughing.
"Let him sing whatever he wants, but I wouldn't mind a cheerier tune." Mahiro looked up and tried to thing of a song

"Cheerier...hm." Cerin went quiet, chugging the second bottle down and sighing. When Vex laid out across Mahiro's and Cerin's laps on his stomach, Cerin brought a hand down and scratched behind Vex's ears. He chuckled when Vex started to quietly purr, feeling it vibrate on his knees as he continued to pet him. "Cats," Cerin said, watching his tail sway before looking at Mahiro,"Weird creatures."
