wanting to start up an rp, where magic is involved, fantasy oriented. Dragons, magic, different creatures etc. I wanting the world to be kinda of medieval/steam punk.View attachment 70568 For my character, I wanted her to have the power to move and control objects , or an earthy type of power. Still open to ideas. Please read rule before responding, There aren't many but please still take a look. I'm Looking for someone who will bare with me as I'm still getting back into rp. as I already stated no one liners but at the same time I'm not looking for someone who is going to send me a book as a response as i will probably get lost. I haven't done any rp in 3 plus years. so I'm still getting back into the game. Abilities: Faron is able to bend light, creating illusions or blinding the enemy, and strike with lightning.


Personality: Usually a playful guy who likes playing tricks on people and has a tough time being serious when it is needed but, Faron's the type of person to act on extremes of positive feelings and negative ones. Faron is a friendly guy to everyone he meets but if someone does something that isn't his taste he's slow to forgive. He approaches every situation with confidence however once something betrays that confidence he's quick to give in.

Abilities: Herthina is able to to control any kind of plant life and morph into any type of plant.


Personality: Slightly shy and meek like, and gets nervous easy around people she does not know. A Very gentle being, but when she feels threatened she can become very stern and boisterous. Herthina is not quick to let people is and is often guarded, but once she lets someone in to her inner circle she becomes very personable and approachable. when she becomes close to a person she becomes very protective over them the way she is with her plants. Even though Herthina is meek like she is very playful, and almost child like.

Faron stepped outside, into the light district of his home city. The light district had a refined, palace like feel to it. With pearl towers that shot high into the sky to the shops and smaller homes that had a shorter, thicker stature. He rubbed his eyes and looked around. Before stepping outside he had heard some strange noises but now that he was nearer, found nothing out of the ordinary. He decided to venture out of the light district and into the central hub, to see if some of his curiosity would be satiated.

Herthina smiled as stepped out her door, feeling the moss under her bare feet. in the earth district, was a heavily wooded area. the houses and building where all build up into the trees, all connected by rope bridges, covers with moss and other plant life. Herthina looked downed towards the ground, with one quick thought huge leafs grew out of the side of the tree creating a stair case leading to the ground. she spoke softly to her self as she stepped on to the first leaf "today is a perfect day for an adventure"

Faron slowly walked through the neutral district, still looking for answers. After a few minutes of walking he came upon a group of people standing in a circle, all staring at what was in the middle. Faron walked up to the group and peered over their shoulders. Much to his dismay everyone was gawking at a goblin corpse, slain by guardsmen. This was certainly something no one would expect to find in the city, monsters may roam the unguarded wilderness, but never in the city.

Herthina walked to the edge of her district to the gate the separated her district from the neutral district. Herthina wore huge green scarf around her shoulders, long enough that the end of it hit the ground. she pulled part of her scarf up and wore it as hood before stepping into the neutral district. With ever step she took grass grew beneath bare feet, then disappeared as she lifted her foot to take her next step. Herthina kept her head down as she walked until she notice loud chatter and a group of people standing in a circle. she kept her distance, but listen carefully only hearing pits and pieces of the chatter. one word stuck out...her eyes widen. "goblins.....here...but..they are never in the city..." she said under her breath.

Faron looked around at the worried faces of the citizens. "Don't worry everyone, this has to be a one time situation. Clear the area so the street cleaners will have an easier time handling the corpse." Faron's words were encouraging, but he didn't believe what he was saying, being from the light district he could feel a balance between light and dark, recently the dark had been diminishing the light. He felt this could be the start of something much worse. Faron decided the next place to visit would be the dark district, as this could turn into a dangerous trip, this wasn't something he was confident in doing by himself, especially if what his worse fears were leading him to believe.

Herthina could hear a man speak. she listened to his words, she could hear the confidence in his voice. she nodded slightly in agreement wanting to believe what the man said, But Herthina being who she was had a hard time believing it fully. Herthina knelt down touching the moss the had made its way between the stoned ground. something didn't feel right. it was as if...it was pain. she sighed. this is not what she had meant by adventure when she had left this morning. Herthina knew that something had to be done... she just didn't know what

Faron looked at the people around him, and noticed a girl with an expression matching his. He hoped she'd be the one to help him prevent more monster attacks. Faron decided it was worth talking to her about the situation. He might have a better idea if she'd be the one to help him, and the rest of the residents. He walked up to her. "Wow, quite a strange occurrence, huh?" he said casually, trying to hide his feelings about what might really be going on.

Herthina jumped slightly as the man who spoke the the crowd before was now speaking to her. she looked and nodded silently. Herthina didn't speak to people often not even to people in her district. she mostly kept to herself and spoke to her plant. people indeterminate her, she has been this was for as long as should could remember. she stood up slowly keeping her eyes on the man. "something is not right." she said so quietly it was all most a whisper. "put you know that don't you?" she tilted her head slightly

Faron raised his eyebrows at the girl's words. "Yeah, you're right." He looked down to his feet, he noticed her slight jolt when he began to speak, figured gazing away might make her feel better. "I don't know if we should talk about this here. The wrong people could over-hear us and we'd be done for before we even have a plan." He looked more directly at her. "That is, if you're interested in fighting what ever is bringing in these monsters."

Herthina nodded in agreement a little worried to fallow someone she didn't know. she spoke calmly, her voice was gentle and soft. " the plants aren't happy...so anything I can do to take protect them." she looked to the ground and spoke again, with slight doubt in her voice. "where should we go?"

Faron paused to think about her question. Then he remembered a cave in an uninhabited part of the neutral district him and his friends from other districts would hide from angry parents at. "I have an idea, I used to visit this hidden cave with friends. It's not far from here and should work for what we need." He slowly headed towards the cave, making sure she would follow.

she nodded and fallowed behind him, making sure to keep her distance. still a little doubtful to fallow someone she didn't know, let alone to cave.


At the same time something told her she would be ok, maybe it was the confidence when he spoke. As they walked she remember how when she had left that day she spoke of an adventure, the thought brought a slight smile to her face.

Faron looked around to see if they were being followed. He didn't see anything and continued into a medium sized cave that had a few makeshift seats. He sat on one made from a rock and offered another to the woman. "Alright, I think we both know something is going on here. I have a small hunch, but I could be wrong. I don't think that goblin today was just a coincidence, I think one of the districts let it in. But other than that I have more questions than answers."

Herthina sat on the rock he offered to her. she took her hood down and nodded in agreement. she spoke softly " yes I can tell somethings wrong, something is wrong with the plants... I can't tell whats wrong with them or why...but somethings not right." she looked down towards the ground still not sure if she was quite comfortable with this stranger. "what are we going to...or...I guess what can we do?" she fiddled with her fingers as she spoke.

Truthfully Faron couldn't answer her question with complete confidence but he knew anything was better than sitting around and letting things get worse. "Since I am from the light district I've been able to feel the sense of good in the world. Recently it has been getting weaker. That makes me think the dark district's power is growing to a threatening level. I think the best place for us to start would be investigating what's happening over there. Hopefully we don't bump into anything beyond our skills."

she nodded. listening to him as she spoke. She waiting until he was finished speaking Looked back up at him and then spoke softly. "as you can tell I'm from the earth district...plants are sensitive... are are effected by it as well.."she stopped and thought for a moment before she spoke again. " I think we should investigate as well.... as far as fighting...I may be meek but I can handle myself."

Faron was glad to hear that she could handle herself in a fight. It took a load off his shoulders for sure. "Is there anything you need to prepare before we head to the other district?" Faron also asked this question to himself but he felt prepared. He stood up and stretched his limbs a little. He took a peek outside the cave while waiting for a reply.

Herthina thought for a minute before responding. "Actually, we may be gone for while.So there are a few things I should get before we leave." when she finished speaking a thought ran across her mind. "I don't know this person...yet I'm about to go on journey with him..how do I know I can trust him."


She stood up and fiddled with her fingers. "Maybe we should go back to our districts, then meet back up in the neutral district?"
