Lord of Time

Boy oh, boy where do I even begin? This unimpressive thread posting without graphics, images, or color of any kind. You know, I used to be good at using this site's code. I was a spectacle to be seen. not really But I at least knew how to change the font and size without having to look it up. Those were the times, back before I lost interest in writing due to me actually gaining outside friends. I'm no longer alone, able to dedicate all of my free time allowing my brain the space to create whatever universe it wanted with characters from other realms. But that's enough lamenting. Let's get to the meat of this post, shall I?

What I expect:
- Length. So much length. No 'it's how you use it that counts' I won't stand short replies at all. At least two paragraphs with paragraphs being defined as 5 sentences each. That's 10 sentences, which makes me cringe, but I honestly don't know if I could do my 1000+ word replies anymore, that'll have to be something I work on. I love to write so don't be shocked if my replies take you a solid minute or two to read through.
- Patience. Both because I like to plan out my pieces, and because I have a busy life, I beg that you are understanding that I won't be able to reply every day. I will definitely try, as that it's my summer goal to write way more, but that's such a high expectation. I just need you to know that my IC posting will only happen twice a week at least. Maybe more, never less. That doesn't mean OOC will be infrequent as I love a good conversation ;)
- Effort. Yeah, this should be obvious, but please, I don't want to control everything. I want input, I want you to be a free thinker who's unafraid of throwing in LOGICAL twists and turns! If you need help consulting me, I would love that! We can discuss a general plot, but not specific character actions, you know? I want to be interested in what's coming next as well and don't want every detail discovered before my eyes have a chance to read the words on the screen.
- Static. My online characters are not static, but I am. I'm only comfortable playing male characters mostly because females allude me even if I am one. Your character can be female, but if she's flirty, or stereotypical in any way, I will be disinterested. Wow me with her, prove to me that your character is different from all the other characters that have ever been created. Have her be a well-rounded, stable-minded individual and then I'll change my mind.

Plots
I don't have any, which is unfortunate, I'm well aware. This is just an initial post because I want to get my name out there before I let my mind wander. I do have fandoms I'm intrigued in! I also have a basic story plot that's been bouncing around my brain for some time but it's not really anything besides a fever dream.

My basic plot is this: MC is paranoid that we're actually in a simulation. He can't prove it, but he feels inhumane, as if someone else is controlling his every move, or watching his actions. He doesn't feel like he's in control of anything, but of course, he can't prove whether or not his reality is everyone else's. He just senses that this world is an illusion, but the people who he's told don't believe him. Mostly, due to his lack of evidence. There will be more on this later if you're interested!
