Andrea huffed her chest up and cracked her knuckles, before heading out, looking like a huge black bear rather then a full grown woman. She went out. "val, come on, close the door and make sure he doesn't get in, I'ma have a little talk with him." she growled under her breath, awaiting the husband. As he stumbled up the stairs, half asleep, half drunk, the husband came face to face with his sister in law. She didn't look to happy now did she.


"What do you want!" he hissed, throwing his bag and heading to the tv. "And where's A-*burp*lexis??" "Oh dont worry." she replied, grabbing his arm and sitting him down, hovering over him like some kind of beast. "She's busy with other things. Now why dont you tell me why you talked to my sister like you did." She said.

To Valerie's relief, Alexis had fallen asleep. Before leaving the room, Valerie kneeled down, kissed Alexis' belly and leaned over to kiss her forehead before smiling. "Sleep tight, sis." She then got up and left the room, closing the door and went downstairs to make sure things didn't get ugly between Andrea and Andrew. "Yeah, chill out, we just want to have a nice, little chat with you."

"Eh, she's just...a waste of time." he mumbled. Suddenly, a fist came straight to his face, Andrea had heard enough. "SHUT...your d--- mouth." she hissed at him, grabbing his chin and forcing him to look her in the face. "If you say that again, I'll show you who's the waste of time, kiddo, and believe me, I can show you."

Valerie folded her arms as she watched Andrea go off on her semi-drunk brother in law. "I think a night in the slammer might teach him a lesson, so why don't you take him there?" Valerie asked.


Upstairs, while sleeping, Alexis started shivering as if she had been doused in cold water.

"yeah, why dont I do that?" she asked, grinning a bit. The brother in law growled at them, struggling a bit as Andrea lifted him off the couch. "Come on, lets find you a hotel. If your sober in the morning we might come get you..." Andrea got a bad, bad feeling, eyeing her sister's door. "Wait, Val, go stay with Alexis..." she instructed, dragging the drunk man out the door. He whined and thrashed, but she continued.

"Wait, why don't you have his friend pick him up? You know, so we can both be with Alexis?" Valerie asked.

 

[Andalexanderwept]

"Oh, good idea." She mumbled, grabbing the groaning man's phone and speed dialing his friend. "Yeah...Chris? Come get this sack out of Alexis' house, He's stinking up the place...uh huh...yeah Thanks." She hung up and let go of the man, smiling. "The deed is done."

Valerie smirked. But it quickly turned into a worried face when she heard Alexis screaming. So she ran back inside to see what was going on. Valerie also doubted that Andrew would even care, since he seemed too drunk out of his mind anyway. It sounded almost as if Alexis was screaming 'Bloody murder' off the top of her lungs.


Alexis had woken up from a nightmare that seem to scare her quite a bit. Her face was flushed and she seemed fairly pale upon waking up. She was breathing fairly heavily as tears rolled down her cheek. Valerie opened the door to see her older sister in a distressed mood. She sat down next to Alexis and started rubbing her back and held her hand. "You okay?" she asked worriedly.

Andrea bolted after her, looking in worried. "Hey, whats wrong??" She asked, walking over and holding her hand softly. "Are you okay?" She breathed softly.

"I just had a bad dream..." Alexis relaxed herself on top of two pillows stack on one another as she held her belly. "It was about the baby, wasn't it?" Valerie asked. "Yeah...I just hope I don't have to have a C-Section...The thought of that actually scares me..." she then wiped her eyes. 'Guess pregnancy does that to you...' Valerie thought. She then heard a car leaving, signifying that Andrew has indeed been picked up, because for sure he would have lashed out at Alexis.

She sighed, laying with her sisters. "I bet the baby'll be okay..." She said. "And if you do get a c section, I'll be there to make sure they don't hurt you." She held Alexis' hand sweetly. "Don't worry sis."

"I just wish Andrew would be more supportive like you two are." Although Valerie wanted to crack a joke, it was probably the worst time, so she decided to save it for later. Alexis then sat up and rested on her older sister's shoulder.

She smiled and held her. "Honey...if he treats you like this, I don't think you should stay with him, or at least go to therapy...I've seen situations like this that turn into the guy beating the girl, and it isn't pretty." She mumbled into her hair.

Akexis nodded, agreeing with her. Since Andrea was a Cop, she knew what she was doing. "I'm already thinking about divorcing him for my own safety and getting a restraining order. But at the same time, its his child too. So it'd be kinda unfair if I just left and took our kid with me." At that moment, Valerie disagreed. "Yeah, but if he's not gonna pay any attention to his own kid, then I'm pretty sure he can care less. Only problem he's gonna have is paying you child support." Alexis got worried. "That's true...But I just want what's best for my child." She felt her baby kicking again. Thinking her baby was upset because she and his aunts were talking about his father, she looked down. "Hmmm, guess he knows who we're talking about."

Andrea smiled slightly. "And anyways, I've been in court with these situations before...I think you'd win by a landslide..." she kissed her head, before smiling at the belly. "Have you thought of a name yet?" She asked softly.

"No...That's where I'm having trouble. Even though I have like...Five names lined up. I'll think about it more when the date gets closer" Alexis smiled. Because her hair was getting in her face and ear, she brushed it aside. "Hopefully we don't smother him either." Valerie laughed. "Hopefully, but he's gonna be getting a lot of love." Alexis knew that as well. The second Alexis thought about taking another nap, her baby started kicking again. "Yeah, I don't think I'm going back to sleep anytime soon..." She said as she put a hand on her back, feeling a dull pain in her lower back. "I guess the backache is the worst." Valerie said as she saw her sister holding her back. "Only in the later stages. But it sucks. Sometimes I can't sleep because of it." Alexis looked out the window, it was pitch black outside. She then felt another sharp pain. Although it didn't hurt as bad as one from a few hours earlier, it was clear that she felt uncomfortable.
