High school, where teens discover their fates, they determine their worth to the world and see whether they will rise to the top or crash down onto the Earth. Ten teenagers, with their heads and hopes up, grouped together in hopes of becoming a famous band together.

After the death of their friend, Ana, the group slowly grew apart, and eventually, split after Senior year. Until two people decided to take matters into their own hands...

One managed to get in touch with all of his buddies, and the other with her high school gal pals. In a sense, the groups were reunited, just separately. They decided to chase their dreams, the two bands, and after years of hard work, dedication, and determination, they're so, so close to hitting the big time and becoming world famous...​

Black heels clicked along the pavement as they made contact with the marble floor, the sound of cameras clicking and reporters calling out their owner's name trailing behind them. A pale hand lifted up to signal to the guards at the doors to shut them, sealing out the reporters behind them. A small smile ghosted over light pink lips, and blue eyes gazed over the atmosphere. This is the day... Lilith Hyde thought, hands tightening into fists at her side to keep in the excitement that threatened to burst.


Turning on her heels, the main vocalist of the famed band Daughter's of Darkness faced her fellow bandmates; Aster, Ursela, Larissa, and Juliette, and her smile turned into a grin. "I can't believe this is actually happening.." She spoke, barely above a whisper, as she clasped her hands over her heart and tapped her heels against the floor excitedly. Normally, one wouldn't be too thrilled to see former high school classmates - However, when you started off as a no one and rose to the top, you'd be damn excited to rub it in the faces of ex-populars. That was Lilith's motivation, and she didn't do the best job at keeping such reasons private; she would bombard her band members with questions the day before, and she barely slept due to laughing her ass off over the mere thought of her ex-boyfriend (who, at the time, was a jock) seeing her.


The room to the reunion was just up a flight of stairs, and Lilith didn't hesitate to be the first up, blue eyes sparkling with glee. Lilith made sure to pick the right outfit to show her change. What better way than to wear the one thing she detested in high school? A dress. Not just that, a dress that showed off the tattoos she was so proud of - Including the one of Ana's name on her shoulder. Pastel pink hair bounced as she stepped up the final step, and the vocalist was surprised to see how much their classmates had changed.


"Damn.." She murmured, running a pale hand through her hair. The only thing she was happy to know, was that she looked far younger than she had thought. For a change, her genes made her proud.

"Filhos de puta..." Larissa muttered as the doors closed behind the girls, rubbing her eyes after being almost blinded by the flashes of the reporters cameras. This was definitely part of the pop star work she did not miss. One reunion party and everyone things that it would be a confirmed reunion of the Daughters despite whatever the truth might actually be. She groaned trying to push of the reporters out of her mind, trying not to get herself in one of her moods at what was meant to be a fun party.

She found herself slipping as anger built and it was st this point in the past she would look to Ana. It was as this point when she scanned the new group that Ana absence was truly felt. Ana and her were always close particularly as Ana managed to always be a calming presence when Larissa was in her moods

Ana passing struck Larissa more than most, at least in her own view and being in the band without her felt wrong. Being in this reunion still didn't. She wouldn't have come at all if Lilith wasnt so incredibly and annoyingly insistent about it. Liliths enthusiasm had its uses in a party and a night out setting but directed at Larissa was barely tolerable.

"Lilith relax for christ sake."She said shaking her head at her before looking around. "You need some booze in you and so do I. Where is the bar? This a party no?"

Sully smiled shyly at the cameras as she entered. She didn't really like having her picture taken by people she didn't know, she was only ok with it when it was her family and friends behind the camera. She was super nervous now! You would think she would be used to this sort of attention by now.

The doors were shut and there were no more pictures to be taken. She let out a sigh of relief.

She was excited to see some of her old classmates today. Sully wondered how some of them looked now. 'What if they all look super old? What if they all look like they never aged!?'

Her hand automatically went to her shoulder to play around with her hair....but she forgot it was tied up in a bun. 'Now what?' She dropped her hand back to her side as

She followed the others up the steps.

"Oh my gosh you guys. My stomach hurts!...but in a good way!" Sully giggled.

Things were certainly different without Ana. It felt strange to Sully. They all never really talk about it and Sully never likes talking about it.

'Woah, this place looks kinda cool.'

Sully looked around at the tables and such. This place reminded her of some sort of winter wonderland!

At the mention of alcohol she shook her head. "Lilith, maybe you should sit down for a bit. You look nervous. Maybe you just need some cake! They better have cake."

[Literary Revenant]

Daniel Kollin

Ah high school... Daniel's best and worst memories stuck in one place. A place where teens are sent to learn basic academics and life skills. Some dedicate their life to study but most of us decided to party away until we graduated. People like us followed a passion of music, sports, videogames or any other Anti productive profession and honestly we didn't care at the time.


Daniel and his friends Clarke Mainson, Reed Arden, James Reid, and Aeron Francisco Sena formed a band called Devil's Chamber. It's mainly a rock/metal band that is fairly successful booking gigs with upwards 1000 people attending. Such success couldn't be said for many others, some of Daniels friends became clerks, failed jockies, desperate druggies, and Lord knows what else. That is one reason why Daniel bothered to show up, to show off his success. Ever since Ana died, there was little kindness shown, instead it was replaced by drunken stupor.


Today Daniel wore a tailored black dress shirt with a patterned green vest over it, expensive slacks, silver cuff links, a pocket watch with Ana's name engraved on it, Italian leather shoes, and his trusty flask that is always filled with Absinthe. In other words his typical concert wear, but its a high school reunion whose gonna notice? Daniel grabbed his trusty flask out of his pocket, taking a small swig, exhaling out the burning sensation. He dreaded this place but he had to be here.


"Alright gents, we're here. Let's get this over with..." Sebastian groaned, his voice droning. He slowly walked through the halls finding the main room with many people, some he didn't recognize, chatting amongst themselves making random gossip. Who knows what he might find, old friends, enemies, teachers... No matter what, with fate in hand he entered the crowd in search of snacks, and conversation.


He atleast found one of those things, a large snack table with chips, Sandwiches, cupcakes, and sodas. Daniel grabbed a sandwich and a cup of soda, spiking it with absinthe. Nothing gets the reunion vibe like cheap snacks but he happily ate them all the same listening in on conversations.

Aster kept her head down low as she passed the reporters, occasionally giving an awkward smile to the camera and praying it wouldn't be on the cover of any newspaper. As soon as she had entered the high school doors, she let out a long groan, mainly to herself than to anyone else. She definitely didn't expect to be back in high school so soon, especially considering hardly any of her school years held super happy memories, except for when she was with Ana and her friends. "Okay, I've had my fun," Aster began, doing a little dance move of her own awkward creation, "drank my fill," she added, slurring that part of her sentence in her best drunk impression (which wasn't very good), "and already had my camera time. Can I go now?" She finished, as she climbed up the stairs to the reunion.


Upon seeing the room filled with old classmates that she used to do her best to ignore, she once again repeated herself, "Seriously, can I go? I have a couch, junkfood and Netflix pretty much calling my name right now." Aster had no desire to stay and socialize with the people who she avoided throughout high school, and she didn't have any motivation to stay like Lilith did. No inward desire to gloat in other's faces, no ex-boyfriend to rub her fame in, she had only come to support the girls and their band. 'Well, if they say I can't leave, I'll just go stand in a corner and be awkward. That's how Prom went...' She concluded, shrugging slightly.

How did reporters always know where and when to pop up? Juliette didn't think that she would understand the widespread, secret network of the paparazzi. Ignoring flashing cameras, random questions and mics shoved in her face, she simply strutted forward and didn't give a single one of them a second glance. As soon as she got into the building and the doors shut, she let out a small sigh of relief. One of the downsides of fame - your privacy is practically non-existent. She thought to herself in annoyance.


But the annoyance didn't last for long once she heard vague sounds of music and chatter coming from above a flight of stairs. Her motivation to go this party, much like Lilith's, was rub her success in on the faces of her former school mates. Her dislike towards them was a deep one. She couldn't wait to see what the "popular kids" had ended up as.


Walking up the flight of stairs, she slightly smirked at Aster unwillingness to be there. "Calm down, Aster. It'll all be worth it in the end when we see the look on their stupid faces." She said gleefully, and gave Larissa a flat look when she mentioned booze. "You can't fully enjoy our dear classmates' reactions if you're drunk. I agree with Sully - let's have some cake! I hope they have tiramisu or chocolate..." Forest green eyes gazed at their venue, recognizing many of the students. Ha... They all look miserable. That made her happy.


But at the same time, she felt pangs in her heart as memories of a certain someone started to play through her head. Ana... Juliette suddenly felt nostalgic. Monarch High is where it all had happened. Then she shook her feelings away. No. She told herself firmly. She would want us to be strong, and carry on. Forcing a small smile, she concentrated on the decorations instead. "They did a surprisingly good job with this place..."

Larissa shook her head at Julette as she walked over to the bar and began preparing a few drinks for them. "You assume I want to suffer through all you guys gloating sober, huh?"She fired back mostly playfully as she walked back with a tray of drinks. "Come and get this down all your gullets, my famous pre big event shots, this time with actual alcohol ! "She said recalling many event her faux shots were drank before concerts and award ceremonies. She looked on seeing the boys gradual arrive. "Oh look we have the token arm candy."She said feeling a little chill gout down her spine.

High school reunions. Clarke did not understand its sense. If he would have wanted to have contact to anyone, he would have kept it. The guitarist of the band Devil´s Chamber wore a simple white shirt and ontop of that a leather jacked with the bands sign. He further wore some ragged jeans with simple black shoes. Clarke grabbed some snacks as well and looked around. He had his hands in his pockets. There were a lot of people around. Clarke kept his eyes open, hoping to spot somebody he actually did not mind talking to. It was harder than he thought...

James let out a sigh as they arrived at their old high school for an reunion, parking in the packed lot out front. He wasn't entirely looking forward to this reunion, and would have preferred to stay at home, tweaking his instruments and playing music. Nonetheless, he was here with his bandmates, only because Daniel had made them go. Something about seeing their former classmates and expressing their success and fame. With a shrug, James walked up to the front doors, pushing through the large amount of reporters present. How did they come to be here before we even arrived? James wondered to himself, but his thoughts were soon interrupted by people shoving microphones in his face and asking questions. To avoid the paparazzi James kept his gaze pointed towards the floor and held the door open for his bandmates, shutting it behind them to keep the paparazzi out.


The inside of the building was decorated beautifully, admittedly, with elegant decorations and classy foods. There was alcohol, cake, and there were more foods and desserts available, causing James to smile a bit. Food was always a good place to start. He relaxed slightly, weaving through his former classmates, avoiding their questioning looks just as he used to during his high school years. When he came to the buffet table it was crowded at first, so he went to stand off to the side, allowing others to get food before him to be polite. He was tall compared to the females of the room, including some of the males, and was dressed in a classy tux, completely comfortable in this professional attire. Normally he'd wear something similar for shows, so this form of clothing appealed to him. His bright green eyes scanned the crowd, looking for familiar faces, until a sight caused him to hold his breath. He saw pink hair. Who else could have bright pink hair?


James abandoned the idea of food and left the buffet table, heading towards where he last saw the pastel pink hair. After another moment of searching, he came upon the girls, which he wasn't expecting. "Lilith?...Aster, Sully, Larissa, Juliette, you too?" Jareth looked at the five of them with a shocked expression, not expecting them to be present. He didn't know how to react, he was so flustered. Instead, he attempted a grin, and complimented them. "You all look amazing...how have you been all these years?"

She did it alot. People must think she never gets to eat.

Sully was about to go get some food when she heard a somewhat familiar voice behind her. "Oh my gosh. Jareth! Hi, it's so good to see you!"

'Should I hug him? Would that be too awkward? Oh what the heck.'

She embraced her tall friend and noticed that she was a tiny bit taller with her heels on.

If Jareth was here then that had to mean that their other friends were here too!

Larissa instinctively stood back when Jareth approached, an instant uncomfortable feeling coming to her. She was never comfortable around men in general since the event that lead to her coming to the country. She interacted with them as little as possible preferring the company of the girls.

The sound of shoes hitting pavement filled the air as Reed made his way from the parking lot to the building. He sighed, honestly, he wasn't too happy to be there. He thought he put his whole high school life behind him when he graduated. Reed had no teachers, peers, or ex-girlfriends to prove anything to, they were all too focused on staying popular to even think about their future, let alone his. But hey, it may come to a surprise to them that he ended up in a famous band. Music and chatter slowly started getting louder and louder as Reed got closer to the building. He finally made it to the entrance, and only took a few seconds to breathe before he opened the door and walked in.


He had to give props to whoever was running the whole thing, it was pretty well done, and Reed doesn't say that about many things. He was impressed by the color of the lights and the way the room was set up, it almost looked like someone really professional did all this. Reed was greeted with the sight of old friends and rivals, along with people who he'd never thought would finish high school. It weird really, but in a good way. A wave of nostalgia hit him as an ex walked by, her hand interlaced with another girl. So that's why we never had sex. Reed wasn't particularly hungry, but the buffet table was there, and well, it was the best way to socialize at an event like this. It wasn't a long walk, and Reed was happy he chose to go there first, because he was getting a little thirsty.


Grabbing a cup of soda, he leaned against the table and looked around, oblivious to the conversation going on right next to him. It wasn't until he heard five very familiar names that he actually turned to look. And there they were, his old best friends, all in one sitting. Sure, Reed was a bit popular back in the day, but that didn't mean he didn't make time for the group. He turned his body towards them and gave a smirk. "Girls, I'm sure you remember me, Reed." He was honestly happy to see them, flashing smiles at them each and greeting them all with hugs. When he got to James and Daniel, he didn't give them a hug, instead patting both on the shoulders. "I don't think you guys ever forgot me, but if so, it's Reed." He joked, giving a grin.

Clarke walked over to the girls as well, smiling at each of them. He had always been shy and it showed again. He didnt speak, he didnt know what to say. He just stood there, smiled and felt dumb, but felt even dumber with the thought of walking away.
