Nation Building Fallout New Days CC

Pat Pat A series of prototypes were developed shortly before the war, X-O1s.
X-01s were around during the Great War. The Secret Service had them. For some reason there's a few in Boston. But they're not the same as Hellfire power armor.

X-02s didn't even exist until roughly 2242.

X-03, or Hellfire power armor, didn't exist until very roughly 2277. It's a postwar design based loosely off the X-01.

Sam Hellfire was the inventor of the X-01. This is something purely made up, never referenced in the games. These were prototypes that the US deployed to the vault he was assigned to, as a part of his contract. As a wise man once said:

"If you're wondering how he eats or breathes, or other science facts: just say to yourself it's just a show, you should really just relax."

Although if 50 suits is a little outrageous, I'll cut it down to 15.

It's just strange that he developed the same exact power armor that the Enclave did if these were X-01 prototypes.

you are the weakest faction anyway, imo everyone in your militia can have a X-01 and it would be balanced.

The Midwestern Brotherhood of Steel
History: After the defeat of the Master, the original Brotherhood found themselves at odds with their need for new blood versus their code of technological secrecy. The debate went lightly. Finally, the elders ruled against sharing the technology with outsiders, convinced that they would endure what they had before. Further discussion was discouraged when the elders ordered the minority who wished to share their technology on a mission across the wastes. The Brotherhood constructed airships and dispatched the minority East, to track down and assess the extent of the remaining super mutant threat. However, as they traveled over the great mountains a great storm broke the main airship and flung it far from its course. The mighty airship was badly damaged, the smaller sections were torn from the main craft and never to be seen again. Many of the expedition leaders, including Paladin Latham, were lost to the winds. The fraction of the crew that still survived, struggled to keep their ship aloft before finally crashing on the outskirts of the ruins of Chicago. Survivors eventually formed a new organization, which diverged greatly from the ideals of the old Brotherhood. In time, they established a harsh rule over the towns and villages in that area.

After long fights with countless raider bands, a warlike technological cult known as the Reavers, and a super mutant army led by mad Paladin Latham, a survivor of one of the other Brotherhood of Steel airships, in 2198 the Brotherhood eventually faced their greatest enemy - a robotic army commanded by the Calculator, the mad AI of Vault 0 in Colorado. Eventually, the robotic army was defeated and the Calculator was merged with a new mind. That of the Warrior.

Deep in the Warrior's heart the decision had been made long ago, to forfeit one's life for the security of others. What nobler end could there be? Sacrifices were always expected but to lose one's mortal shell and join with a machine is not an ending, instead it is a new beginning revolving around the rebirth of humanity. The first command to speed through the new Calculator's relays is the disabling of the active robotic forces averting the sterilization of all life on the continent. The Warrior's mind had proved itself exceptional time and again in the field of battle. Now working in conjunction with the Calculator's sheer processing power, a union between the Brotherhood of Steel and the robotic forces quickly takes shape.

The region sees new laws established to ease humanity back into civilized life, laws that are strictly enforced by the combined patrols of Brotherhood soldiers and pacification robots. To speed the unification process discrimination against mutants is outlawed, many prejudices are eliminated through education or the harsh implementation of Brotherhood Justice. The willingness to overcome differences opens avenues of recruitment that would otherwise remained unutilized. Mutated creatures that wish to live in peace under the new regime are welcomed, though hesitantly into the population. Old hatreds and fears are soon forgotten as the task at hand becomes apparent; humans, ghouls, super mutants and deathclaws all work together to begin transforming the wastelands into a post nuclear utopia. The combined knowledge of the Brotherhood and Calculator's databases are a powerful tool for reshaping the world and no time is wasted. Technology is slowly re-introduced into the land; irrigation systems are established bringing water to the barren soils for the first time in decades.

New settlements spring up as land becomes fertile once again, with places of learning becoming the hubs of the fledgling civilization. A combination of old world science with new world wisdom paves the way to higher understanding and unity amongst the population. The new regime begins to expand across the wasteland absorbing towns and villages and quickly dispatching those who would halt progress. Soon the Brotherhood is protector to a string of settlements, as the Brotherhood's power grows so does it's hold on the wasteland but one question remains; what will happen when this young civilization encounters the original knowledge-hoarding Brotherhood of Steel? The Scribes and Elders prepare for the meeting and hope to put differences in the past, as the future of mankind hangs in the balance. But that is a battle for another day, and perhaps another hero.

When the Enclave arrived from the Bowels of Chigcago the MWBoS under the guidance of their Elder they opted instead to leave Illinois taking all those who would follow and their tech, he saw war as stunting their growth instead of helping it, he instead decided to move and expand into Minnesota to rendezvous with the BoS stationed there and to get more farmland and more room to grow.

They differ from the rest of the Brotherhood as they are willing to accept non-humans into their ranks. During the war with the Calculator, the Midwestern Brotherhood's forces consisted of survivors from the expedition, human recruits from tribes and towns, ghouls, sentient (hairy) deathclaws, some super mutants (many recruits came from defeated enemy forces), and machine legions from Vault 0.

The Current MWBoS under the rule of a newly instated elder now holds all of the Old World Plains Commonwealth, Eastern Colorado, Southern Minnesota and South Dakota.

oh are you not informed?
having reasons for your OPness doesn't make your OP justified.
Justifications for my current situation make the situation justified kind of how it works, the world never works, has never worked in easy proportions
