people experience trauma in different ways, i guess. ocd can also be something you're kinda prone to, some scientists think, so some people just need something to trigger over activity in that part of the brain. blunt trauma or emotional trauma can trigger over activity in the brain. that was what i was thinking when i wrote it.

i also recently read a book about a woman who developed ocd after the death of a sibling, so that was a heavy influence. i wanted to do a similar sort of thing.

Thank you. That means a lot. :3 I know there's a stigma about mental illnesses in RPing (well, IRL too really) but because people don't really do their research, but I'm bipolar, so I know about it and don't want to just be that person. Y'know.

Yes! She's so gorgeous. I've never used her as a fc for a roleplay before, but I thought she would fit for this one. I absolutely love The Pretty Reckless, and I'm not gonna lie, when I realized she was Cindy Lou from the Grinch, I was shocked af.

she's also the president's daughter in spy kids, i think! and yes, the pretty reckless are great!!

Seeing as we're only missing one sheet, I'm going to get the first post up! The way this is going to work is, everyone is going to make one post before I will post again. This can be in any order but try to only do so once. Any actions and such that are performed by your character, reactions from NPCS, or anything about the world around them will be controlled/responded to by me. So if someone walks into a new room in their post, I'll respond to them once everyone has posted detailing what the room is, what they see, etc. Make sense? I hope so >.<

And just a quick reminder that this is a detailed roleplay! Although I'm sure y'all understand that by now. ^^

Posting momentarily. Question though. Are there bathrooms there or...? Peach is gonna need one so before i post, i'd like to know more about the place, even though my character obviously wont.

Kinda but it seems it is insane what'll happen and as much as i wanna know, i say no. I'm okie. But as you know, she's expecting so i was gonna have her head off for the bathrooms to throw up. Most people are gonna think its stress like she will but we know whats up and maybe goose can as well. (Her name is goose to allude to Mother Goose isn't it?)

Edit: I mean, she could throw up right there but i feel it's a bit too awkward in that case. Ya know?

so i think it would be simpler if your character stayed within the room, mr mind, and maybe she could be sick there. however... if you could perhaps... minimise the description of the physical vomitting, that would be helpful for those of us who have coped with eating disorders in the past.

Actually, no . I encourage splitting up and exploring as that is what happened in the original and it worked surprisingly well as far as plot goes. So if you want to split up, split up!

And I apologize if you've suffered from a disorder in the past, but if you haven't, please keep all such... suggestions to me. Regardless I don't think anyone would want to write someone vomitting in detail.
 
apologies, i haven't been in a group roleplay for over six months now and am too used to GMs that don't administer any control over what happens. i totally respect that you're the GM and it's your place to call the shots, not me. that was totally my bad. i know it's your roleplay; i'm really, really sorry.
