Even if he did get slashed he wanted peace. He always refused to use his smart intellect though people tend to bully him because of doing so. He rather use his own mental strength to learn. He never used his power to mentally think or process. He just used the average human mind to think and process. So therefore he was considered different among his group.

At one point of their life a rebel group of reds attacked their home because of some trouble Roy caused. Both of their parents died trying to protect them and Valory and Roy fled. Valory didn't want to believe that the reds attacked without a reason so once she found out that Roy was the problem she forgave the reds and decided that she really needed to stick close to her brother. Although her brother always tries to flee from her she somehow finds him.
Personality:
Valory is quite forgiving and kind. She will accept anyone for who they are. Valory can tolerate most people but as a normal person, some personalities are too overwhelming for her. She cherishes friendship and bonds which is why she is so against the war. She loves nature and pretty much anything with a soul. Sometimes though she will be reckless to care for those she loves. Valory tries to do her best in everything but will sometimes end up harming herself in trying to do so. She welcomes anyone with open arms, even though she shouldn't. The only thing that she does have though is a trust issue. She will welcome but to let out her deep secrets will take a lot more.

He continues to travel far and wide to try to stay away from his sister to protect her, but she refuses.

Seems to always be depressed. He doesn't fear most things except his past. Roy enjoys being alone and not helping others. He is the complete opposite of Valory. He is cold-hearted so that he doesn't hurt anyone. If angered enough though he will kill. Roy doesn't fear killing now after the death of family. Roy is very protective of himself and his possessions. He is stubborn and rude. Roy enjoys hurting people sometimes when he is overly consumed by the darkness inside him. He is often quiet though and tries to read people's actions and learn their fears.
