Leondres Goldheart, I should've known. He looks at the mage and nods his head acknowledging him, before turning away heading into the estate. As he enters through the doors, the take over mage uses transformation magic changing his clothes once more.
Leondres felt his heart sink for a moment as Nathan’s eyes locked onto Leo’s figure, and yet at the same time, Leo could not help but also feel pleased. It was still true that Leo wanted to avoid any kind of interaction with Nathan that would lead to the conversation topic of their ‘dungeon delving’ experience, equally so, Leo would have felt insulted if the ‘Prince of Djinns’ hadn’t recognized his presence at all, especially when they were in such close proximity from each other. Well, he was bound to notice my presence here some point soon, after all, who couldn’t tell when they are in the presence of someone as great as I am? A satisfied and rather smug grin befell Leo’s face as he returned the nod of acknowledgment back to Nathan. Leo also, in his endless ego, expected a similar sign of acknowledgment from the other S-Class of Dragonclaw, Alex Morne and that is when the impossible for Leo happened. The mage hadn’t paid Leo even a single glance before moving back on inside the estate, and this left Leo in a momentary state of utter disbelief COMPLETELY IGNORED!?! Leo mumbled a sum of incoherent curses under his breath before recomposing himself. Well clearly, if he could not recognize such a significant individual like me, he isn’t even worth making note of, although… That display of his was pretty impres- NOO!! It was nothing, nothing at all when compared to my gifts & talents~ Leo’s ego remained intact, which is very important of course! That was when, suddenly, he was paid a surprise appearance of his favorite in-law popping up beside him.
Cousin... You’re gonna draw so much attention to us.. I regret this immediately. “ He let out another long sigh, shifting behind Leo a bit more as if this would hide him from the world which was comical given he could just disappear again. “ I ‘uhm.. I made you a dagger the other day, I embedded it with a lot of jewels and stuff. I know that really catches your eye. Which your eyes are actually genuinely pretty, even more so than the dagger itself. “ As he spoke, his confidence began to shine, a flamboyant attitude slowly taking over his entire figure. He pulled out the dagger from his pocket dimension, holding it out to Leo with an innocent look hovering on his face, wondering if this would make him happy.
Leo spun around and placed both hands on both of Zael’s shoulder in a sort of embrace “Oho~ Don’t worry about the attention, when you’re anything like me, you’ll get used to it and realize all attention is good attention, no exceptions!” Leo looked as though he planned to continue, but at the moment he heard mention of ‘jewels’, his ears twitching and eyes sparkling “You dwiiiiiiid!!~?” Leondres said with the voice of a child receiving a present for Christmas, he eagerly watched as Zael pulled the dagger from his ‘pocket dimension’. His face lit up upon first glance, but just as he began to admire the new work of Zael he became distracted by the feeling of an aura he was quite familiar with and shook him to his core, It can’t be… Leo’s eyes snapped back to Cadence, just in time to confirm his suspicions...
For a moment you could see a bright light flicker in Cadence eyes. Changing their color to a bright golden color much like one people might think the gates of heaven would be. At that moment his whole aura changed, to one that threatened to even outdo Sora's. The magical energy of Atrius Aurelio, brother to the first king of Alvarez and Patriarch of the Aurelio family flooded from the form of Cadence for just long enough to be noticed by any still around before dispersing in a small stream of light particles.
In a fleeting moment of intense familiarity caused by the sudden change in Cadence’s aura, Leondres was taken back to the first time he laid eyes on the Patriarch of the Aurelio Family, Atrius…

It was the first time Leondres had ever even entered the Aurelio Family Estate because unlike the other branches of the Aurelio family who all lived in separate manors inside the wide & prosperous area the estate covered, Leo’s parents instead opted to live outside the estate shortly after his birth. Building their own manor isolated at the top of a mountain peak where Leo spent almost the entirety of his childhood, and so he also never got many chances at meeting the other members of his family. His parents were overly possessive of their only son, as well as distrusting of the majority of Aurelio’s main branch families, and so it was strange that they would willingly allow Leondres to leave their manor, let alone travel to the very home of all those his parents distrusted and believed to conspire against them. Yet something had changed their minds and hearts in some way, it was a sudden decision on their part as if they just got up that morning and suddenly realized what they must do. They left their manor seemingly with no rhyme or reason until they had finally reached the estate, his parents escorted him in the dark of night as to avoid being spotted as they took Leondres to a private area of the estate reserved for the patriarch of their family and that is where his mother & father, Zadie, and Armel, revealed their motivations for bringing him to this place: they desired to make Leondres a candidate to potentially become the next Patriarch of the Aurelio Family and so we're bringing him to their current patriarch, Atrius Aurelio in the hopes they would receive their great founders blessing! While Leondres had no interest in such things, nor did he have much interest in meeting any of his family, after all, if they were at all anything like his parents he had no desire to meet him. But at the moment he finally laid eyes on the founder of their family, something lifted up inside him and pulled him closer to Atrius and in that moment Leo did not see a man before him…At that moment he saw that Atrius was a sun, just like Leondres was the center of their own universe, but Atrius was a sun so magnificently bright, with a gravitational force so powerful, the planets which revolved around him were endless in number. Leondres saw what he could be, or perhaps, what he would strive to surpass. For the first, and only time, Leondres felt that he had met a ‘true equal’.

Suddenly Leondres realized that his hands were shaking like mad, possessed with both fear & excitement. As the aura of Atrius dispersed into a small stream of light, Leo’s shakes began to subside.
Now that was...EXCITING!!..!!..!!
The obsidian haired boy handed the dagger over with a smile a child might have worn, one proud of their accomplishments.
"I see you took your precious time. I'm quite tired. I think I might go rest. I know you aren't one for quite Leo, and you tend to do your own thing Zael. But I'm feeling particularly paranoid that I might be stabbed in the back while I rest now. Would either of you accompany me?"
Leondres accepted the dagger with greedy fingers, returning Zael’s proud smile with his own, but instead, Leo’s smile resembled that of a child opening a present for Christmas and for a brief moment he allowed himself to admire the dagger once more before stashing away at his side, right beside his sealed djinn equip that also took the form of a dagger: It really is beautiful, even more so than Amon’s blade in it’s sealed state...Heehee, I can definitely see this coming in handy~ Cadence approached Leo, breaking his current track of thought as his cousin greeted them. Leo, in a sarcastic manner, shrugged and smiled “From the looks of things I think I came back just in time to see the good stuff, besides you should know me by now~ I don’t like being cooped up~” Leo paused for a moment as Cadence continued to propose that either of them accompany him “Well…Uuuuhh, uuuhmmm, hrrmmm….” Leo paused as he contemplated Do I REALLY want to accompany him…? He is right, I do not like quiet, but I have cleared out all the gambling houses in the area...But then, Cadence might go on with his lectures again, yet! I am also pretty tired, and his lectures do make going to sleep a lot easier...I wonder what Zael is going to do...Leo’s eyes shifted to Zael, watching to see what his answer was going to be before coming to his own decision. If Leo was the type of person to trust in only his eyes he may have already been under the impression Zael would decline, but Leo was an individual who lived the entirety of his life based on the feeling in his gut, his gut told him Zael had no reason not to accompany Cadence.
The look on his face didn’t seem too thrilled and Zael offered him a look of solace. “ I’m already out in the open, might as well accompany you. “ He held a hand out then, the way one would if asking another to dance, a charming smile tugging at his lips. Clearly Cadence needed to be cheered up, so Zael would be damned if he wouldn’t try to at least ease some of that negativity that was written as clear as day on his face. “ Lead the way, brother.
An arrogant smile grew along Leo’s cheeks as he raised his nose high in the air, silently pleased with himself And my gut wins again, no surprise really; what are eyes useful for aside from the ability to gaze upon things of beauty? Leo’s decision was made up of Zael, but he did not want to make it too obvious that was the case and so he acted as though he was still unsure for just a little longer. At least Leo gave an exaggerated shrug with palms facing the sky “Oh well, why not? After all, maybe there really IS a chance that someone is going to try sneak in and assassinate you, hehee~ Now that’s something I wouldn’t wanna’ miss out on, so like Zael said, lead the way! Luck’s now at your side~” Leondres said with a sarcastic tone, and mentally he added Besides, maybe I can start discussing the details of what Zael is going to make for me next! His mind lingered back to the idea of being hunted down by an assassin and if Leo were being honest, a part of him actually did hope something like that might happen Now that would really liven up the mood of this place! Maybe I should start making some enemies too after all great people like myself need great enemies! Heh, I wonder what it’s like to have someone try to assassinate you in your sleep~

There was so much to do. So much racing through her mind. As the precious minutes ticked by it became clear that this was an isolated attack. A simple assassination. The most difficult kind of attack to deal with. Even so she kept everyone on high alert. With everyone's safety assured the focus shifted to searching for those responsible. If her men hadn't reported anything yet they weren't going to. A proper investigation would take time. They always do.

With everything calming down from the initial chaos her mind was left to begin processing all the things she had thrust aside. All the thoughts that lay upon her shoulders. All the thoughts everyone else were fortunate enough to not have to deal with. Her lips curled into a slight frown. If only she were so lucky as to be able to wallow in her emotion as everyone up above was doing. How would they explain Satoshi's death? Should she warn the other guilds? The calling card left on his body made it obvious who was responsible, would they also target the other guilds? She'd have to organize search parties to comb through not only the village, but also the mountains of Crocus and the forests of Magnolia.

The million thoughts racing through her mind were interrupted as an all-too-familiar voice rang in her ears. Every word that left the woman's lips served only to fuel her seething rage. Even as she held her glare on one of the monitors before her it was evident that her entire form was tense. Her hands balled into fists. Her frown turning into an outright scowl. "You are a very lucky woman." She didn't even bother to elaborate, as horrible a person as Hex might be, even she should understand the meaning of her words. As much as she might dislike this woman, she could see why her predecessor brought her on board. It was the same reason she hadn't shown the woman the door the first day she became Guild Master. But now, of all times, she was not in the mood.

She finally tore her gaze from the monitor to look at the woman directly. That final request truly striking a nerve. "Hex." Her voice was cold, she didn't even attempt to hide the maliciousness soaking into every word. "I would very strongly recommend you go out and make yourself useful." The sheer hatred in her eyes at the moment would have brought men to their knees. For both of their sakes she suddenly spun on her heel and strode towards the exit. "Commander, with me." Was all she said as she departed from the command center, the man she spoke to previously quickly falling in to flank her as they left Hex to her devices.

The rapid clicking of her heels resounded through the corridors as she marched angrily towards the Christina's berth. "I want teams sent to the cultists compounds we raided last month. Turn the whole damned mountain upside down if you have to. I want some kind of lead." Her voice was calm, though it was clear that Hex had succeeded in eroding much of the control she had been demonstrating. A fact that did not go unnoticed by the man trailing her. "Warn the other guilds that participated in the assaults. Keep it vague, just let them know that the cultists attacked us and that they should be on alert." Her quick pace soon brought her to a door which she stopped in front of, finally turning to face the man directly. She opened her mouth only to find silence. Her fist clenched tightly for just a moment as she was quick to speak up. "And keep the details of what happened a secret. The villagers are sure to know something's happened. Make sure nobody outside of this guild learns what happened to Satoshi."

"Yes Ma'am."
The man gave her a quick salute before turning to walk back the way they had come. Her focus returning back to the door as she walked through into a control room overlooking the famous airship of Blue Pegasus. Her steps were slow, heavy, as she approached the window. The room was silent save the quiet clack of her heels and faint ruffle of her dress. She came to a stop as she reached the window, a hand coming up to rest against the glass. A stifled sob rang out in the quiet room. The hand on the window once more clenching into a tight fist as she fell forward to press her forehead against the glass. She knew she still had so much work to do. She had to return, to be a symbol of strength for everyone. But it weighed too heavily on her. With no one around requiring she keep her composure. All those emotions she had kept pushed down swelled to the surface.

Tears trailed down her cheeks. Furious, anguished sobs wracked her body as she slowly crumpled to the floor. "Goddamnit!" She slammed her fist against the window as she cried out. It was just like back then. She was right there. Right there! And yet she couldn't do her one job and keep him safe. The sole reason she was given the position. The only thing she worked so hard towards. Her very reason for living. And she couldn't do a damned thing to stop it. She kept her head pressed against the window, her long snow-white hair cascading down as if to shield her display from the world. Her sobs continuing until she could finally wrest back control of her emotions.

Varian was slightly taken about by how little his charge beam seemed to affect Miles, sure, I knew he wasn't massively strong, but he had hoped to do more damage than that. It was a relief to see David be tended to at least, one less thing to worry about, now all that was left was two powerful mages and a VERY angry dragonslayer.

After she stopped, Varian swiftly made his way over to Akita and awkwardly patted her shoulder "Ok. I think it's best you calm down." He then glanced over at Katherine "With all due respect ma'am, isn't it smarter to pick one's battles wisely? Why pick a fight with multiple stronger opponents when you can focus on one with help. You may be able to rely on your strength when you fight, but some of us aren't as strong as you, so we need to think fast." Wow, where did that come from? Not even Varian knew.

He then glanced around at the small lines Akita had made in the mud and began whispering to her "I see you made a plan then?" Unfortunately, it seemed it wouldn't be able to be put into fruition and, to Varian's surprise, the environment began to change into a mountain range. The lightning mage struggled to stand as the mountain formed, barely managing to hold onto a ledge, struggling to pull himself up "Ok. I can handle a lot, any one of these things separately I can manage. But even I have to admit that at this point this trail is fucking insane!"

Kathy kept on her guard until Wilson himself came upon the battlefield to stop what was going on. Luckily he did it on time and caused the S class to nod in thanks, even though there was no way he would see that. She then looked over to Miles and then back at the pair that were now closer to her. Kathy replied to the young lightning mage "But you have yet to realize that you let your backs open..." she declared "It is smart to attack one person and focus on them, but it is not smart to put your back to an opponent that is a possible threat..." that's what she was trying to teach them "Just know that running away is okay if you must..." they could focus on the one opponent, but doing that can risk many of things "What I am trying to say is run away if you have no other option... If you do plan on fighting, you must watch your opponents closely, especially being sandwiched inbetween a pair..." suddenly the floor began to ruble and change its course into a mountain range. Kathy took a few steps, trying to move with the shifting but it failed, allowing the floor underneath her to change and have her sliding down the side and onto a ledge where she grumbled to herself and kept her back to the wall she was against.

This was going to get more and more interesting. She could technically use her Nexus to help her get around, but it wasnt time to reveal. This was a test for herself as well as others, for herself as in to see how long she could go without Nexus, and for others to get into Sabertooth and live through the trials. Suddenly she heard Lionel's roar, which made her look over and notice her dragon facing off a Manticore. Luckily he wasnt in range of the effects but his biome did change some. "Lucky him...I wonder what he's up to..." she said aloud, looking around and noticing different people hanging off ledges or trying to get away from the hunters. Technically she could cheat and blast the mountain to smithereens... Hmmm... Now that she thought that, it was a good challenge but if she did that, it'll reveal her true magic power. The S class almost frowned but she didnt, activating her smoke once again, coming out gray instead of her colored ones. She was going to make it hard to see, that was her intention this time.

While this went on, Lionel was on the offensive, ready to attack but then he felt Lexi hugging his leg. He didnt move in fear of hurting her but eventually she let go and the Manticore snarled, causing the dragon to growl in response. While Lexi's spirit animal was attacking, Lionel attacked too, going right for its neck and grabbing onto it with his large jaw and digging his teeth into the beast. He shook his head in attempted to hurt the animal on top of its squirming and then released, getting a very angry aura from it. Lionel knew what he was doing after hearing Lexi. She had a plan and he wanted to follow through with it. The manticore growled at him while he roared in response, turning quickly and using his tail to hit the beast. Lionel needed more instructions, he wanted to know Lexi's plan to destroy this fowl creature.

Yui nodded "ooohh Okay!" she said with a warm smile before suddenly the barrels were thrown about, causing her to jump out of the sudden action and look up as she saw Keira Dreyar, Luca's sister! "Keira!" she said excitingly "I'm happy to see you!" Yui was quite innocent and didnt think much of the situation. Keira then called her cute which made her giggle "Thank you! I appreciate that." taking the compliment happily, she looked back at Luca who was red in the face, poor Luca! He was always bullied by his Older sister but it was obvious she still loved him! "It's okay Luca!" she began to pat his head gently "She loves you, she just doesnt wanna admit it." she whispered with a giggle and getting up from the floor, She leaned down and took his hands in hers, helping him up before releasing them "Now, back to that curry-" turning around, she noticed Ikora asking about the curry, and her eyes shifted to the bowl in her hands, and then slowly looked at Lillie who was wide eye and clearly upset before looking at Ikora "IKORRRRAA!!!' she shouted before pouting "YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO ASK IF YOU'RE ALLOWED TO TAKE SOMETHING BEFORE TAKING IT!" how could Ikora keep do this!? There had been countless times where she would yell at Ikora and it seemed she never learned her lesson!

On top of that she tried all morning to make him a bowl because all she did was eat the other batches because it tasted so good! Lillie flew over and hugged Yui 'I'm sorry yui! I tried! But she just moved me and wouldnt let me near till she had a bowl!' Yui lifted her hand and petted Lillie "Its okay, Lillie. I forgive you." after all, Lillie was quite smaller compared to everyone else in the guild. Looking back at Ikora, she narrowed her eyes cutely "You're helping me make a batch if you want one by tomorrow." because there would be no doubt that the mage would just eat everything up again just like today. "If you do not help me, then you will not get a set." lifting her finger in a matter-of-factly manner. Maybe if she just taught Ikora to make the curry, maybe she wouldnt be taking it without permission all the time. Lillie moved and sat on top of her head, watching the situation unfold between the small group in the area.

Sirens Song - Captains Quarters AA13A853-4042-4C49-AAD5-C20F8840A1C5.jpeg
A feeling of suspense and tension washed over the Sirens Song before seemingly encompassing it with a vise-grip. Eliza stood there, her eyes locked onto the strange woman and not moving an inch as her form changed; left arm becoming a bladed claw. The clawed hand was quite formidable in size, and whilst it appeared to most definitely be rather deadly the Redd was unbothered. This showed on her face quite evidently as her expression curled in almost a mocking manner. ‘What the hell is this freaks problem?’ Thoughts forcing themselves to the forefront of her mind as Eliza stood there with clenched fists, waiting for the unfamiliar and unwelcome guest to make a move or at least even say something to prompt a reaction. It was then, that the black haired woman finally spoke, her clawed hands outstretched towards her; finger pointing menacingly at her frame.

Eliza couldn’t help but crack a smirk so mocking in its delivery that you could sense it right off the bat. “You what?” Eliza questioned, hands clenching tightly as the sounds of crackling began to emanate throughout the air, her explosion magic making its appearance once again. “Mother Serpent? sound like some Lamia Scale bullshit to me. Bunch of wet wipes, you fit right in!” It was in that moment, that Eliza broke into a fit of hysterical laughter. “I’LL TELL YOU WHAT!” She boomed, “SCREW YOU!!! HOW ABOUT YOU AND YOUR IMAGINARY SERPENTINE LOVER FUCK OFF OUT OF MY SHIP.” Her lithe yet battle-worn frame formed into a combative stance, the signature style of her family taught to her by her own mother Natalia Redd and unknown to mages outside of the Redd family. “Orrrrr....” She took a breath, her Strengthening Magic charging up with a full speed and strength boost as the energy flowed throughout her entire body with the fluidity of water. In what seemed to be a flash, Eliza closed the gap between the two women, charging up her explosion magic in her fist before punching towards Reiss with unforgiving force. The generated explosion rattled the ship, and shattered the glass as it destroyed almost all of the furniture inside the captains quarters in the process. The thought angered Eliza even more. “OR I CAN BEAT YOUR FREAKY BITCH SELF TO THE GROUND, BLOODY GIRL. STUPID WENCH!”

Of course, Eliza’s attack was hefty and the force from the explosion magic coupled with the enhanced blow of her fist would be trouble if taken directly. Yet, as Eliza’s fist came cannon-balling towards Reiss she quite clearly aimed for a knockout punch and vastly underestimated Reiss. Part of her knew that whoever this creep was, she was a formidable opponent. And most definitely wouldn’t go down without a fight.

Cadence Moonfire
Saber.(Fate.Prototype).full.2099253.jpg
Cadence gave a grateful smile to Zael. He was always so polite, and quiet. Unlike a certain golden haired boy who was as dumb as his luck."Thank you. I always known I can count on you. It reminds me of those times you use to visit me in the night and we'd spend it talking the night away." Cadence said fondly reminiscing about those happier times. Of course now things weren't quite so great. True he had been freed from the bonds of his family, particularly his parents and grandfather. Who seemed determined to have him become the next patriarch. Something he never desired. It seemed like a hassle to have to deal with such a toxic family in that position. The assassination attempts where already plentiful enough without him being the target of someones plot to replace him as head of the family. Although strangely enough Cadence had never heard of such attempts being made of Atrius life. Maybe the legends of his power and deeds weren't as exaggerated as he thought. Or maybe people just figured it was pointless. The old codger was bound to drop dead any day now right? Regardless of the reason, Cadence was certain he wouldn't receive the same luxury as his grandpa.

Cadence grabbed Zaels hand pulling him towards him taking the lead as it were. He smiled as he dipped Zael much like a man dipping the woman in a waltz, or tango. He smiled down at Zael their eyes locking for a moment, an amused expression on Cadence face for a moment, before he lifts Zael back up released his hand.
"Yes let's go, before Leo's luck ends up answering his question and we end up being assassinated just so he can experience what it's like first hand. Not that attempts haven't already been made. Hell even if tried taking you out once or twice just for fun. But your damn lucks stopped me every time. Guess its a good thing. If I had succeeded I would have never made it out of "that place..." Cadence said with a sinister affliction to his words. He didn't dare say more for fear of incurring the wrath of the family curse. He walked off towards his room in the area. Doing his best to avoid running into any more of the other members of their guild. Hopefully, they were all still busy coddling the child known as Amaya.

tumblr_ol0zwcnghf1qjtxoeo1_400.jpgReiss stood firm as the fiery girl screamed her little heart out. The cold and unfeeling expression of the Enforcer slowly cracked as a smile spread wide across her face. Judgement? That was all but unnecessary now. It wasn't about the law anymore. It wasn't about what the girl had or hadn't done. No, no, no... this little shit had gone and committed the worst sin of all in Reiss' mind. Insults to her god would not be tolerated, would not go unpunished. It didn't matter if the girl was true to the code or not, it was clear that she could stand to learn a bit of humility in the face of divine providence. "Think what you will of me. A giant cares not for the opinion of the ants that it treads upon. However..." She took a step forward, her eyes narrowing on the loudmouthed brat in front of her. "You will not sully the name of Nagakabouros with your filthy, insolent tongue. Take notes, child, for this will be an important lesson." There was no doubt about it, Reiss could feel the burning desire to put this pest in her place, and she was not about to disobey her own will in the face of her laws. The Serpent Mother would have it no other way.

Reiss watched as Eliza took up her battle stance, but took no action of her own. She briefly considered using her judgement magic to learn all she could about this little shit-stain's magic, but quickly dismissed the thought.
That won't be necessary, and my triumph over her will be meaningless if I resort to such base tactics... It was clear enough that the girl was charging up some kind of magical attack, and the crackling of tiny pops and explosions told the Therion almost all of what she needed to know about Eliza's tactics and magic. As graceless and blunt as the whelp herself... Her smile grew the slightest bit wider.

Both Eliza and Reiss moved at the exact same moment, it seemed, and it was a good thing too, as the red-haired girl closed the gap much faster than the Therion anticipated.
"SYHA'H!" Reiss shouted as she dropped to one knee. Without any warning, the gravity in the room suddenly reversed and grew massively in strength, and all the furniture and adornments in the room were flung up into the roof of the small cabin with great force. Eliza herself was completely unaffected by this, however, as she had not been judged to be sinful thus far, but the effect was all Reiss needed. The moment Eliza's explosive spell went off, the force of the detonation was carried by the massive gravitational shift straight upwards, blowing all the furniture on the roof to absolute shreds before likewise blowing apart the roof itself, scattering it through the air like cheap firewood.

Jumping up from her kneeling position as gravity returned itself to normal, Reiss made a grab with her massive clawed hand for the Redd's head. Not for a killing blow, of course, but instead wrapping the appendage behind the girl's head and then yanking her head downward as the celestial woman attempted to slam her rising knee into the girl's face. Perhaps strong enough to break the girl's nose, if she wasn't as strong as Reiss assumed her to be, but that price was Eliza's to pay for her temper. Redemption was offered, after all, and the Enforcer was not one to turn the other cheek when such an offer was spat upon.
Let us see if your bite is as mighty as your bark, insolent brat.

  • Mera Fenway

All of the siren’s instincts were on overdrive. The smells. The body heat. The pulsating energy that emanated off of each of her prey. “ Oh this is just so beautiful. “ Mera’s lips curved into a very predatory smile, eyes widening with a sickening sense of newfound delight. It was almost as if she was ready to jump for glee, enticed by the idea of making these tasty magicians a drained and lifeless corpse on the floor. Her body tensed up, eyes narrowing in on their new victim before she watched Wilson approach her. Normally the woman wouldn’t quite care but god did he radiate with power. What she wasn’t expecting was the way he knelt before her, holding her in a lover’s embrace. Mm, is he some sort of masochist? Offering himself to me like that? It felt so familiar though, it was comforting instead of sensual and this almost threw her into a frenzy. The idea of someone handing her solace instead of pleasure was almost disgusting but part of her truly desired it. She bit down on her lower lip hard, fangs causing it to bleed, the trail of blood dribbling down her chin in a steady flow. Her tongue lightly licked what it could up, head tilting at the words he was spilling, intrigued. That voluptuous body leaned against his, pressing against him so roughly and suddenly that it sent them falling over onto the ground.

Slender fingers rose to touch his scarf, lingering there before they pulled down on it to expose the lower half of his face, curiosity taking control. Those crimson coated lips hungrily latched onto his as soon as they were exposed, a glow appearing between them as his energy left his body at a rate much quicker than she was capable of taking when not in siren form. It was almost insatiable, so unquenchable in fact that she felt overwhelmed and broke the lip-lock. She remained straddled there atop of him, eyes opening to peer into his with wonder, skin slowly starting to return to its normal delicacy, lacking the previous scales. It felt like she was being pulled under again, drowning in a perpetual memory that dared to drive her to the brink of psychosis. She fought and fought though, battling those wayward thoughts that tried to snuff out her humanity, the one thing that she held onto despite how relentless her other nature could be. Wilson was important. He was worth surfacing for. I won't lose, she thought with such a ferociousness that she broke free. Mera's siren part was torn from her as his energy started to settle and quell that part of her as it had in the past, causing her siren side to be weaker in strength, the two now separating once again. Those eyes softened too, less rapacious and simply washed out in color like the sea. As her consciousness took over, she stared down at the material that her fingers were clutching and she tightened her thighs around Wilson’s body. An extremely firm hand grabbed his face, trying to keep his gaze on her, other hand desperately trying to return the scarf back to its wrapped around fashion on his face.

The Cthulhu like monster appeared for a few moments, grabbing David and disappearing with the air mage's body, depositing it rather gently outside of the testing grounds to leave him unconscious and very much disqualified.

image2.jpg"Thanks, Viera, ol' gal! You know, you're pretty lucky yourself, having a reliable friend like me around." Hex said, with a genuine smile, throwing a cool action pose with her Callisto Cannon to drive the point home. Still holding the pose, she stared Viera down as the woman got very flustered and, quite frankly, very angry. Hmm... Seems like a no... Maybe I should get back with her later on that whole corpse thing! "Useful is my middle name, Vi!" She shouted and threw a quick salute to Viera as she walked away with the commander. "I'm sure she'll eventually come to see the amazing things I can do with a guy like Satomi, don't you, gorgeous?" She raved, talking to the cannon mounted over her shoulder before sliding it back into its resting position. She skipped off out the door and threw on her headphones as she made her way over to an elevator that took her up to the Guild Hall proper. Hard Rock music blaring in her ears, she stepped out the door and made her way to the main hall. Hex spotted the body of Satismo and made her way over. Avia was still holding the lad and getting herself quite stained with blood doing it, too. "You know, that's not really very hygienic." She said, a bit too loudly with the music in her ears. Hex then proceeded to pull a vial out of her back pocket as she tossed aside the cloths that the maid had tried to cover the body with. She then pulled one of the knives from Sodomo's back and drained the blood off it into the vial, before capping it and re-storing the vial. After that she cut a very small tuft of hair from behind his ears with the knife and stored that in a vial as well. Just in case Vi doesn't let me have the body... She thought, happy to have gotten ahold of anything at all. She would have a much harder time with her research without the full body, naturally, but she could get her work done with just the bare minimum if necessary.

With that out of the way, Hex activated the magic tracker/analyzer in her visor and looked over the corpse. There was no magical traces on the knives, nor on the note left pinned to him. There were very faint traces of magic that was not his own on him, but nothing to indicate that the magic was what killed him. "Well, I guess looks can't kill if they had to resort to this." She joked as she tossed the knife over her shoulder. Looking up at the people around her, Hex noticed a new face, a girl currently hugging Avia. She tilted her head to the side as the Hexvisor showed some kind of twisted magic flowing through the girl's body, something definitely odd, to be sure. Unfortunately, this odd perverted magic didn't match what was left on Sedimi, so she wasn't a suspect, even if she was an intriguing thing to stare at. Damn, I really wish Viera hadn't banned me from live dissections. I'd love to get her on my table and figure out what she's got going on in there... Pushing that thought aside, Hex stood up and looked around the room before spotting the broken roof skyline and the even fainter magic trail leading from it to Soram's body. "I'm gonna guess he didn't come in through the door then?" She wondered aloud.

AkagiAkagi took the blow to the face, receiving the whole brunt of it. She stumbled back, but steadied herself almost immediately. She wiped the blood off her lips with her gloves, and, wordlessly, steeled her glare towards Jane. She rolled her shoulders, almost as if she wasn't even particularly affected by the blow, then returned to her stance once more. Jane came again, attempting to sweep her legs from beneath her. Akagi shifted her body weight back, and took a step backwards, taking just minimal amounts of movement to avoid her sweep, then parried the elbow thrust, redirecting it away from her.. Instead of a riposte, however, the Executioner took another step back, her expression suddenly having gone empty. The eye, previously full of bright, burning motivation, glazed over with a dull shade.

With each blow that Jane attempted to land on her, she simply avoided them, moving away ever so slightly to keep her out of reach, blocking the few that she couldn't reliably dodge, and pushing them ever so slightly away from her, before moving ever backwards, or to the side. She did not waste any single motion, her body moving like a well-oiled machine, reacting to everything that Jane threw at her, She did not say anything as Jane rattled on, riddling her with both punches and words. Rather, she continued to keep on the defensive. Jane flicked her blood towards her eyes, and Akagi simply angled her head a little towards the left, catching the blood with her eyepatch, just as she caught her blow with her arm, and retreated further. As for her words- even if Akagi heard them, she was doing a perfect job of acting like she didn't. As Jane came cruising in with one strong kick to emphasise her last point, Akagi blocked it once more, catching it with one arm, and visibly shifted back slightly from the force behind it. Jane leapt away from her, and Akagi took the time to flex her arm a little, trying to get the feeling back into it.

As Jane leapt into the air for one final guillotine kick, Akagi moved lightly to one side, and let her crash down onto the ground, terraforming the land before her. Hm. Interesting. Akagi glanced at the mountain behind her, her expression unchanging, then returned her gaze to Jane. She rubbed the back of her neck and gave a sigh. She held one hand towards the mountain range behind her, without looking at it. "Infinite Axis Gimbal," she said, her words flat and uninterested. A sudden burst of dark, coiling energy from her hand erupted forth, tearing through the mountain range, its body coiling and thrashing around chaotically through the artificial barrier. Within a second, the range was marred beyond recognition, and in the next, the imbalanced construct collapsed on itself, scattering dust clouds and debris atop of the Executioner. She didn't seem too perturbed about it. Instead, it was almost as if she planned it. She stepped back, into the falling debris, and, in an instant, vanished within the chaos.

Then, from the debris and dust clouds, a calm voice, swallowed up by the roar of devastation around it, spoke. "X-Axis Gimbal." A dark beam of Darkness Magic speared through the clouds, tearing a hole through them. With a swipe, the beam of destruction sliced across the arena, cutting through the mountain ridge behind Jane, and aimed to deliberately to bifurcate her at her hip, its user still hiding from within the debris.

Ferra Nari
Location: Blue Pegasus Guild Hall

Ferra was extremely confused when she heard Blue Pegasus' troops running around. She looked to Yamato as he shouted at her eyes wide as he shouted they had to find Satoshi. "Yamato what's wrong?" She asked. Had it been anyone but him she'd of joked about him calming down, that Satoshi was probably just off banging someone. But Yamato never shouted, especially not at women. Then a soldier ran over to collect him and her heart sank a bit. No...surely it wasn't what she thought? She forgot all about Serenity entirely as she ran after Yamato as fast as her small legs could carry her, the petite mage right behind him. She heard and saw Dante in the sky, her eyes going back to the guild hall after looking up at him.

Then she got inside and saw it....Satoshi brutally murdered on the ground in Avia's arms, the poor brutalized girl on the ground cradeling the dead form of their guild member. "This...isn't real right?" She asked, honestly stunned, not sure what to say at all or how to react. She felt...numb. She refused to believe this was real! Tears came to her eyes and started streaming down her cheeks. As much as she joked and picked on Satoshi for being a lustful deviant she did like the man quite a lot. He was her guild member and friend after all! And a very prominent member of the guild! "Dammit Satoshi..." She whispered under her breath as her fists clenched into small tight balls. She never would of expected him to die, not like this especially. He was an amazing fighter, incredibly skilled....whatever happened to him....cowards had to of ambushed him. That's all there was too it. There was no way this happened with a fair fight! "We'll get the bastard, don't worry.." She assured Yamato as she hugged him tightly to herself.

Even if K8 was right she tried to ignore the woman as she attempted to be the voice of reason here. They didn't need someone telling them all how to act, what they should be doing. They needed comfort! Next of course Hex came upstairs acting as if what happened to Satoshi really didn't matter or that she didn't care. Honestly...she wasn't understanding of her as Viera was. She didn't really like her at all. She didn't hate her...she just disliked her, a lot. She stayed silent though...not wanting to say something that'd only start a fight. Satoshi's death was bad enough as it was, no one needed to fight and bicker with each other.

"You never get compliments? That's a shame. You deserve more."
She seemed to see right through Jackdaw which was disappointing but he wouldn't show it./ Instead he played it off like he meant it.
The woman however mentioned the guildmaster was around here somewhere so he would have to find her. When the woman stated he was looking for comrades and to not trust anyone he chuckled. He honestly never trusted anyone already, a lesson he learned a long time ago. He needed to have people that would help him find Rayleigh. He had a plan for his confrontation and he needed help. He also felt like creating a syndicate at some point, but that could wait. When she said he seemed odd in a way he faked a pout.
"I'm weird? That's kinda hurtful you know. But alright anyways. You've been quite helpful and I'd love to be a guildmate too. I should go however and find the guildmaster here. Thanks for the drink."
He got up and noticed a woman going around checking everyone and he decided she might be the guildmaster.
Making his way up to her he spoke up.
"Excuse me, are you the guildmaster here? I'm looking to join Lamia Scale." He said.

No reaction from her words, well mental stability seems to improve once actual combat begins most likely through conditioning and experience, the look in the eyes and posture showing the woman disconnecting in order to function in such an environment. It was not an unusual trait though still one worthy of note, as she adjusts the strength behind each blow to test the woman's defenses and approach to confirm earlier suspicions. The woman was holding back, though a close look at the subtle movements of the muscles and feel of the impacts she now had a fairly accurate idea of just how much, now she simply needed to draw out and sample the magic, the effort excluded could then be placed into her analysis to formulate a solid plan to take them down as well as have the woman turn this into an actual fight without seriously injuring them before such could occur.

Assuming a casual stance from her position it seemed now was the time for Akagi to show her actual magic more clearly, novel a distraction and obscuring her presence? well it showed that she did have some tactical thought behind her, and shrewd actions deserved honest responses. She remains standing as the dust fills the area, though her eyes do not blink even as it blasts into them, a faint twitch of her nose as she follows the blood within the cloud-ready for the attack that was being prepared. "I always wondered about why mages chose to name their attacks, it seemed foolhardy to announce such though now? It is seeming though as if there is a cathartic and motivation reason behind it" her stance changing for a moment as she brings her leg back. The main point of notice though was the attack that was heading her way would be lethal, so this woman was willing to attempt to kill her opponent that was to be a guildmate? it was a drastic difference from her previous concern but now was not the time to delve into that part of there psychology. The moment the blade comes there is a clash between the destructive magic and the foot that connects, he area of the leg turning a shiny black along with a narrowing on Janes features for a moment, the two forces sparking before barely she manages to divert the force dissipates with whatever magic that had been sustaining it vanishing with it. Still, the deflection had resulted in damage, a deep leg wound that left the bone visible beneath the mess of torn pale skin and muscle. There was however a faint look of displeasure now from Jane though not for the reason many would suspect *I am not going to be able to simply repair that, the damage is too widespread and I question if i will be able to replace it...I hope this town has a specialist around to help, a good tailor is so very difficult to find sometimes*

"Not that such would be needed, you're speaking my arterial language, after all, you held back but I have its measure. We can now proceed to the next stage of this test...it is your option should it be taken further or if I simply end it here, I have no interest if there will be nothing of value gained by you refusing to take this seriously." a slow breath being taken once more as both hands make fists that are extended and placed atop each other, Janes arms out just below her maximum reach. There she waited and listened, before using the good leg to leap forward directly at Akagi within the debris, the blade haven given the briefest of glimpses as it passed through and the sound doing the rest. Vision was but a liability within the cloud and there were many more senses to use, scent and hearing to precise and it was these two that allowed her to locate the woman. In an instant, the two fists shot forward barely an inch from Akagi's chest with a monotone call "Romero Dawn" the entire scene exploding in front of her. The skill itself involved bypassing barriers and using such to transmit the force, multiplying it to shattering force, as seen by what was left of the mountain range shattering from pressure alone and falling downwards as a crater is formed, the dust itself blasted back in the process. Inwardly she had a fairly confident idea that the woman would have some defense ready less her internals receive the full brunt of the technique, she only hoped for her own sake she chose to evade rather than block or place something in the way.

Pulling Away to head back
Hitomi just sighed as she slowly finished up the red pillow with black thread lined through the seams while she keeps trying to wiggle her tail out of Toki's grasp, though she isn't particularly trying hard to free it. "It would be odd if you had ears and a tail. Well, I won't tell him you said that then." It had sort of become habit for Hitomi to just relax and let Toki do what she wanted. She knew the girl would get bored after a while so she had the patience to wait. When she felt Toki leaning against her back she glanced at the girl, tying off the last seam, "I'm sure you have things you do to cope with stress, this is what I do. The answer to the why is because I get hot very easily and this snow doesn't bother me any. I'm debating on who to give this pillow to honestly. Perhaps Lucas?" Hitomi tucks away her sewing kit and puts the leftover wool into her pouch, though the pouch doesn't expand at all, it just made carrying most of her supplies around easier. Eventually, though she does manage to extricate her tail from Toki's grasp and stands up dusting the snow from the back of her traditional kimono, the bells tied around her waist jingling as she turned around and held her hand out to Toki if she wanted help getting up.

"We should probably head back. The others who were going on that big mission are probably going to leave soon. I'd like to see if they may need any help preparing to go, of course, I'm not going. I've got another translation request. You could come with me if you'd like, the pay isn't half bad even split up." The snow seemed to start falling a bit more heavily as they stood outside, and while it didn't bother her she didn't want Toki to start getting cold. With her other hand, she snaps her fingers and creates a small yellow ball of fire, it's warm despite not being a very powerful flame. Hitomi floats the orb closer to Toki, "Don't need you freezing out here. Come on let's get back."

1581030098124.pngAs Nathan stood there, he was slowly piecing just who the red haired man before him truly was. After seeing his Lamia Scale mark, he couldn't help but wondered who he was even more. Since he time growing up there, he's never really seen anyone there that could match his description, though he couldn't shake the feeling of he meeting this man before. Between Alex and Amaya, they both seem to know this mage in a very trusting way. Possibly as much as they trust Nathan. Did he arrive after I left? Nathan asked himself. Why haven't Alex told me about him? Wait did he and Amaya use to date?!?! Nonono he just called her his sister. Glad we can eliminate that. But wait what if they did date, and it just ended mutually and they just kept a brother sister relationship. Yes that's why Alex didn't tell me, he was probably asked to keep that a secret from me. Tch WHO IS THIS MAN?! Nathan's thoughts continued on and on almost like a panic, all while he remained calm on the outside. Nathan finally decided to introduce himself, after having a somewhat mental breakdown about something so comedic. The man answer, giving him his full name as well. Once he heard his last name, he remember someone with that same last name that his dad told him about. Miyamoto....Miyamoto. That's right, Ryu Myamoto, he was one of the people who assisted my dad with the taking of Pergrande. So this must be his son. Hmm now that I remember, he does look like his father. Nathan thought to himself, referring to the portrait of Noah and everyone else whop helped him hanging in the castle's main hall.

Nathan finally knew who the man was, but where did he meet him. His question was soon enough answered by Ryuji himself. "Yes that's right. Our meeting was rather short, and I didn't really say much myself. Glad to have this chance to meet you yet again." He said with friendly smile. Though as Alex and Amaya decided to leave, Ryuji's face turned rather intense. He looked before the three of them wondering if Alex or Amaya sees how he was looking at him. He was very confused about what just happened, and whats about to happen next. Whatever it was he didn't like it at all. He says he wasn't to get to know him, but his expression says otherwise. He watched as the two left leaving, him and Ryuji alone. Nathan's friendly smile faded as he stares back at Ryuji, with a straight face. "So Ryuji, you say you want to get to know me, but your face seems a bit intense for a friendly conversation. So tell me, what is it that you truly want or have to say? Have I offended you in anyway?" He asked crossing his arms. LeSoraAmari LeSoraAmari Kyuubey Kyuubey Rhodus Prime Rhodus Prime

Rose sat there trying to recover herself from the last fight, "I can still fight." she said to herself, that's when a flare flew passed her and she looked at where it came from, "You got some balls there pal!" she shouted at him as she stood up. Glaring at him she went half form and had her claws come out, The wounds have yet to heal and the only thing that has healed was the skin. It covered the deep gash but can probably end up getting ripped back open in a fight.

"I should let you know, I'm not going down easy!" she said and stood her ground, though she was itching to fight, she was that stupid, the wounds she got in the last fight can end up re opening and causing her to either lose blood or it can be seen as an exploitable weakness.

  • Keira Dreyar

    uy7ln30s9i041.jpg

Lela’s words didn’t seem to truly register until the words tarnish and Dreyar popped up. This was one of those moments that Keira would normally have been a hot kettle, the noise shrilling and extremely loud, words meant to scald. That would be the typical response to such a remark but the woman calmly turned to 1314, face quite stoic. “ Squadmate Keira out. “ She threw a hand up as she dismissed herself from the group, fingers balling up into a fist as it came to settle once again at her side. A smile crept onto that eerily plain expression that had once settled there as she noticed Ikora causing her own characteristic mayhem within the guild hall. The Dreyar was facing an immense inner turmoil, one that was about to increase tenfold as a white bird came screeching into the guildhall. Keira’s hand instinctively rose, fingers splaying about to allow it to land properly. It tilted its head as she peered at it, free hand rising to free the small rolled up note tied to its leg. Their family didn’t really do the whole lacrima device thing. All messages were handwritten and sent personally. She spoke a word under her breath and it unrolled, the short but brief letter being read quite quickly. If any expression was meant to befall her features, it simply didn’t, though her hand shook a bit which prompted the bird to take flight once again.

Luca. “ Keira turned, palm outstretched as the paper disintegrated so nobody else could pry. “ I have to head home. If you want to stay, you can. I’m not going to get mad if you want to stay and be with your friends. “ She reassured him, hand releasing the ashes into the air before it naturally went through the motion of flicking her long glacial hair back once again. A beautiful flowing cape appeared to wrap snugly across her shoulders, a piece from one of her requip sets that would keep her warm in the cold snowy weather. It was going to be a very long trek, one that couldn’t wait until morning. “ Ikora, I’m going to have to drop out of the mission, I believe in you though. Family always comes first so I must go. “ Keira was being vague on purpose, uncomfortable sharing her business with all the ears present in the room. “ See you all. Good luck if you go.. “ Those purple hues fluidly danced across the room to acknowledge everyone before settling forward, heavy boots following suit towards the giant guild hall doors. She hadn’t even packed any food or essentials, this was going to be quite the adventurous journey. Their mom had fallen ill again and that was a summon that she would never ever ignore or put off as Keira was the only one capable of helping her get better through a blood transfusion. She feared what mental toll it would have on herself if something happened to their mother but mostly she worried about what it would do to Luca. Luca had always been a momma's boy, coddled and cradled every single day by their mom over her immense guilt of his condition. So now it was time to once again protect that delicate relationship, fearful of what would happen to their family if it was removed.

Wilson knew Mera's Siren form was dangerous. So he couldn't allow her to roam free as such. It would be far too deadly to those around her. Luckily he had more than enough magic to spare. He was even prepared for the chance of her trying to remove his scarf. The siren's reaction to him was about what he expected. A wave of conflicting emotions made clear by the expressions on her face. Her usual scent was slightly sweeter than usual. Wilson inhaled, holding her in his embrace. It seemed she had fallen for his plan. He fell back as she forced herself against him taking in her soft, and smooth curves. the heat was coming off her like a furnace. But Wilson hardly noticed his only concern getting her back to her normal self. He couldn't help but notice the differences between Mera, and her Siren form. She was so much more forceful and intense. Wilson watched as she mounted him, her fingers moving to his scarf. He knew what her siren form was thinking, and was prepared to stop it. He grabbed at the scarf prepared to stop her mischief. But he was shocked to find his arms didn't reach the scarf. Instead, all he could grasp was air. He looked to see two rings on his arms, his hands disappearing into them. Somewhere watching from a safe location the hooded man let out a delighted chuckle. Taking a sip of a new cup of tea he had made sometime after the last one got blown to kingdom come.

"Yes, now let us see what power you truly hold Guild Master of Saber Tooth. The master will want this information. Hahaha." The man sat back his legs crossed in a gentlemanly fashion as he observed what would occur next. He had sensed something powerful inside the GUIld master. Something not of his own power. He made a calculated guess and assumed the scarf around his neck must be of some importance. It seemed he was correct. Now, what exactly was he hiding?

Wilson was attempting to free himself but before he could there was a sudden pulse that emanated throughout his body. Mera had succeeded in removing his scarf, and before she regained her senses and attempted to return the scarf an immense amount of energy erupted from him, blasting Mera back from the sheer force. Slowly the giant guild master rose to his feet cloaked in a massive sphere of thick blood-red energy. The ground trembled as he stepped forward, the violent energy so powerful that the mountain began to crack around him. It was as if a natural disaster had occurred, and in a way one had. That natural disaster coming in the form of Wilson. He stood paused for a moment time seemed to halt in anticipation of his next move. He inhaled deeply, seemingly causing a vacuum effect as the air filled his lungs."RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUGAAAAAAAAH!!!!" Wilson roared with such force that the whole city of Crocus began to shake, anyone close to him being hit with a shockwave that would send them flying a decent distance away least the hang onto something with all their strength. Even Mera's ship wasn't safe as it hung in the air it would be wide open for a hit from the shockwave, which would slowly crack the ship apart, starting at the deck, and spreading across it's the hull. The energy around Wilson shifted as if it was a living creature. Any grass or living creatures who entered the area being drained and withered to nothing. He stepped forward causing the ground to crater more and more with every step, he raised a fist striking it into the ground causing another massive tremor, as the earth trembled in fear of his strength. He crouched ready to advance on all those who appeared before him, a predatory look on his face now revealed to all. It was clear why Wilson wore the scarf now, aside from it acting as a seal it also hid his monstrous appearance. One that aside from his hideous scar across his mouth, had been there since birth. It was clear what needed to be done, either Wilson needed to have his scarf returned, or come to his senses before things escalated. His body was already being slowly ripped apart by his energy. Small cuts and wounds were slowly beginning to appear on his body. It was only a matter of time before he was killed by his own power, or the beast escaped. It seemed that the trial to join Saber Tooth had suddenly turned into a test to prevent Wilson Hunt from slaughtering them all.

Nadine Kazumi

Nadine looked at Crimson's bite wound. It looked pretty nasty. "Sorry, I do not have any anti-venom for this species of spider." She answered as she eyed the discoloration of the skin. She pushed Crimson to sit on the rock beside her instead. Nadine pulled out a small flask from her pocket that was filled with a clear liquid. "However, I can give you something to stop the lymphatic flow," She then pulled out a needle from her medicine bag and filled it with the liquid. The venom seemed to be overwhelming Crimson, destroying the white blood cells before they could do their job. With Nadine's little serum, it should slow down the flow enough to increase the chance for them to fight off the toxin. Before the other could protest, Nadine quickly gave her the shot above the wound. "You need to stay still and keep that arm below your heart." She wagged her finger with a warning.

"Oh, and here!" Nadine pulled another flask out. This time it was filled with a thick molasses-like substance. "Don't worry, this isn't a shot, but it certainly won't taste good." She placed the flask in Crimson's hand. "This will increase your ability to break down the toxins, but it won't stop the venom entirely. I certainly have no idea what this venom is capable of. "

Shiro, who clung to Nadine's shoulder, the whole fight finally let out a small hissing noise. "Shiro! She is not going to die," Nadine admonished her pet snake. "But I am worried about the mistress. Producing anti-venom takes at least an hour. I do not know if she has that much time before dinner time."She said with some worry.

Kai Zahara

Location: Mera's Ship - ST Trial Forest

Kai was peacefully watching the battles below with Maev after Eliza's drunken bout, the blonde having decided to just do her best to ignore that whole mess. It was for the best she supposed. She had absolutely no idea what was about to happen. She watched Reiss lift up from the ground riding a wave of water from the bog and board Mera's ship, the girl just blinking in surprise a few times at the wall of ice that'd been formed blocking them from following the intruder headed for the Captains' quarters. Now she could of probably broken the wall...however she kinda wanted to see how this went. A bit evil yes considering Reiss could be attempting to murder Elizabeth...but still! She was sure it'd be fine! Probably. She did continue to glance over the edge at the chaos going on down below as well doing her best to try and watch both sides of the interesting test! Though it was pretty hard she thought she was doing a good enough job of it!

She focused on the chaos below until Eliza had finally woken up and started screeching loud enough to be heard across the deck! "Jeez, why the hell are all the Redds' so damn loud!" She shouted laughing a lot too. She had however pretty much expected her to react that way, only hearing her getting louder and louder as she kept speaking. For a small woman she sure got loud! 'Course she couldn't hear Reiss' response so she was left with one side of the conversation. Though from Elizabeth's shouting soon after whatever Reiss had said wasn't good, it being evident she was about to go full Redd and kick some ass. She stumbled a bit as the ship was rocked, the blonde blinking as she didn't even seem to give her time to respond. Welp...couldn't say she was surprised!

She did wish she could see things first hand though! Ah well...it was probably pretty dangerous, and unless she was going to restrain them she was built for ranged combat. Plus...if she knew Elizabeth the fight would likely break on to the main deck area soon enough. Explosions soon followed of course as the fighting began, Kai just crossing her arms and waiting for Elizabeth to utterly destroy Mera's room before the fight moved closer. She hoped things wouldn't get that far knowing Mera would be pissed her ship got damaged so badly...but well...she also wanted to watch the kickass fight! "Don't get your ass beat Eliza~" She spoke snickering a little with a big smirk on her lips. That said things were getting interesting down below too as she heard Akagi firing off attacks, watching a smoke cloud forming as she destroyed a chunk of mountain.

Next thing she knew though a blast of Akagi's energy was heading right for the ship! "What the heck!" She shouted eyes wide as it careened towards them at fast speeds. She quickly drew her Steel yoyo and coiled string around it, arching it backwards as the thing slowly moved only to have her whip it forward in an effort to deflect the blast. She really didn't want the ship to be even more damaged than it already was! Though what happened next pretty much made what she had done entirely moot, eyes going wide as she spotted her Guild Master coated in red and letting out a mighty roar! She felt the boat rock and heard it start cracking the girl cursing under her breath. "What the fuck Wilson did someone steal your twinkie or something!?" She shouted. She had no idea how she would get down like this! The ship was quite high off the ground and slowly cracking apart. Luckily she was a mage or the fall would kill her for sure, though the rest of the crew was human! "Uhhh...if you two can hear me over your pissing contest we gotta problem up here! There's tons of crew that need to get evacc'd the ship is coming apart!" She shouted as loud as she could hoping that Elizabeth and Reiss could hear her.

Amaya Hartley

There was honestly no reason for Amaya to think anything was amok in the room, smile still plastered there like an unwavering monument to the recent events. “ We’ll be back then! “ She chimed out, nudging Ryu’s shoulder as a final goodbye as she came to a stand, hand shooting out to grab Alex’s as if it was second nature. They held hands so much as kids and had a closeness that was almost unrivaled until Nathan decided to act on feelings that she reciprocated immediately. It was surprising that she had, always the one to keep people at arms length, besides the Morne or Ryuuji of course. She flashed Nathan a small smile, cheeks still throbbing with every emotion under the sun displayed upon them. With a small noise she pulled him up, grinning that cheeky toothy grin as she proceeded to pull him out of the room. Her head shot back out into the door-less frame, peering at them for a few seconds. “ I hope you have a lovely talk~ “ Her words seemed to almost be sung out before she disappeared around the corner with Alex in tow. There was no awkwardness with the grasp, it was as playful as when they were younger, fingers entwined with his out of his habit. “ So… is anything going to change? “ She asked curiously, azure eyes flickering to meet his with a little bit of coyness. She led them into the study, one of the more unused rooms in the manor, and turned to face him completely. Those deep indigo hues never wavered from him, trying to read him completely. He had seemed okay with what happened, sure, but was he really? She genuinely needed to know what he thought.

Not only was Alexander her best friend, he was family. The brother she never had. His opinion mattered almost more than anyone else’s. “ Who would’ve thought Ryuuji would’ve popped up, huh? “ She released the Morne’s hand then, fingers gentle as they traced along his palm into the empty air. “ It’s really lovely to see him though. My mom would have a field day seeing him. “ She added on, peering at a few books that lined the walls, skimming over their titles and pulling out a few to lightly read through them with vague interest. Amaya had never been an adamant bookworm like Alex, she preferred learning in a battlefield, not with her nose in a book. Her fingers rested lightly on the hilt of her sword, a few whispers echoing in her head immediately before she shook her head wildly and dropped her hand to the side. That is so weird… I’m not even sure I should say anything… part of it feels so… familiar and welcoming though. She pretended to be overly interested in the book in her other hand, flipping through the pages at a slow pace. “ I can’t believe he kissed me, Alex. I just… I don’t want it to ruin anything. And why me? Look at me. I’m nothing special. He’s a prince… I’m just me. “ Her volume dropped a bit, self doubt shaking her entire core as she dwelled on it even further. She held the book closer, hugging it for comfort as she recalled the feeling of the kiss and all the emotion she had felt behind it. " Am I good enough for him, Alex? " She asked abruptly, eyes glued on him now as if his answer would either reassure her or break her.

As the scene above them explodes with a wave of debris being shot across the opening above them Jane herself stops curious and lowers her hands, raising a finger to Akagi as she starts calmly walking away "One moment, Now that really is annoying I want to see what it is before it interrupts us further" hoping off the debris of what remains of the canyon wall with her good leg to get above it and observe the scene before them for several moments with her hands in her pockets, raising her voice to shout down to Akagi but also allowing others in the area to hear "Burstwick, why is your guild master acting like a toddler throwing a tantrum over what looks like a safety blanket?" shaking her head as she watches the scene take place slowly. The girl seemed perfectly fine, the initial outburst that knocked the area away having faded and now left them relatively stable, the life and magic seemed to be drained though for some reason the girl herself didn't seem to be affected. The scene itself was embarrassing and the random chaos of the test did make her question if the guild idea of the concept of order or planning.

"I feel like continuing further is going to be pointless with this, your going to want to step in and stop this rather than pretend to put any effort in, we're both too old to keep playing pretend in either case..." an idle thought crossing her mind as she reaches down and picks up a large chunk of the ground to stuff in her pocket for some unknown reason. "Now the question is if this is guild business only or if you would require assistance. I would not want to impose on family matters otherwise, it would be disrespectful."

project_jinx_by_danterh_ddd440q-fullview.jpgHex couldn’t hear Avia over her music, but what she did hear was the shattering of glass reverberate through her ears. An flashing red code came over her visor, informing her of the destroyed vials, luckily the compartment they were in was still sealed, so the blood and hair were safe inside, it would just be a mess to get out again. Pulling her earphones off her head, Hex turned to see Avia had changed into Rider form and there was magic coming off her pretty strong. So she’s the one that broke my shit... Hex stood firm as Avia hurled insults and threats her were. She was used to mages talking a big game, that much was common, but messing with her work? That was a new low that most had the smarts to avoid. It would seem, however, that those were smarts that Avia clearly lacked. A different compartment on Hex’s right hip sprang open, and Hex quickly snapped her hand onto the grip of her pistol.... but then she stopped. Her scowl at Avia broke from but a second as she let out a brief laugh. Her grip released and the pistol snapped back into its compartment. She would catch all kinds of hell from Viera for shooting Avia, and the scolding wasn’t worth the time she could have spent in her lab, after all.

“I see what’s going on here...” Hex said, as she slowly but purposefully stepped around Avia, their eyes locked the entire way around. “You think that just because I am not a mage that you can do whatever you like. That you are better than me. That you have some control over me thanks to your magic.” Hex quickly leaned down and grabbed Sadem’s body by the back of the neck and lifted it effortlessly before shoving the corpse into Avia’s face. “Do you see what this is? This is a corpse. A lifeless shell with no value to anyone or anything around it. It is good for abso. lutely. NOTHING.” She emphasized those last two words heavily as she shoved the body closer to Avia’s face. “Fortunately for every solder, weapon, and vehicle Blue Pegasus has out in the field, I can actually use this worthless sack of garbage. I can take his death and give something to every member of this guild. And what would YOU have us do? Bury it to rot in some godforsaken cemetery so that it can serve no good to anyone but your meaningless fucking FEELINGS?!?” Hex dropped the body with a resounding THUD on the ground.

“I know you mages like to sit around and pretend like you are better than everyone else around you, but you got another thing coming, you vacuous sack of shit. Those of us who don’t have magic have to live with those who do, and in a world where every Fairy Tail mage is blowing entire cities to hell in another one of their petty fucking squabbles, common people have to fight any way they can to survive. And newflash, sister, survival doesn’t give a fuck about your feelings, about your morals, or anything else.” Hex was absolutely seething with anger now, having worked herself up so far that she might have actually drawn her weapon to kill if she wasn’t distracted by her own words. “Your morals, your self-righteous bullshit, does absolutely nothing for anyone around you, least of all the normal people who you are supposed to be protecting. But me? Every single day the technology I create saves dozens of lives. Every shield that blocks a killing blow, every gun that takes down a dark mage, every single fucking thing I create saves innocent lives. So you can sit and whine and bitch about how I get my work done, but that won’t change shit. I’m here to do good, not serve your ego.” Hex turned to walk away, but stopped as a psychotic smile crossed her face. Looking back to Avia, Hex gave her a “friendly” smile.

“Oh, and the next time you think of threatening me, keep poor little Serent here in mind. Just because you have magic, doesn’t make you invincible. Sadame here has just as good of magic as you, and HE’S.” Hex raised her right foot. “STILL.” She pressed her exosuit’s heel to his head. “DEAD!!!” She shifted all her weight onto her right leg, the sheer weight of Hex’s suit and gear crushing Semora’s skull effortlessly as a mixture of brains, blood and shattered bone shot across the floor, covering Hex’s foot and the area around it in smushed gore while Hex’s eyes remained locked on Avia’s. “Now, I have work to do, if you don’t mind. Some of us have a purpose around here.” With that, Hex pushed past Avia and pushed off with her powerful legs, leaping through the smashed ceiling and into the roof. Her fists were clenched as she slowly attempted to calm herself. No one fucks with her work. No one.

AltairA flitting shadow darted across the room, and in a moment, the tip of a katana dug into Satoshi's shirt, and with a swing, dragged him out from beneath Hex's boot. With a flourish, the black-haired samurai returned his sword into its scabbard. "O, world-weary warrior, how truly brave of you to face a defenseless dead body. What great strength you wield," Altair spoke quietly, sarcasm dripping off his level tone as he crouched down beside Satoshi's desecrated body. Hex was right, no doubt about that. Emotions were useless, and so were their morals, in the heat of combat, that was. He scooped the lifeless body up from the floor, and lifted it onto his shoulder, draping the poor lad over. "Your assessment of mages is astute, and not particularly mistaken. But," he grunted as he shifted the body's weight on his shoulders, "I am not a mage, so I trust my advice can be heeded, if it so pleases the lady. It is within my belief that I can cut you down here and now, before you can move a single finger to use your toys. So listen to me when I say," he brushed a lock of raven black hair behind his shoulders, "respect the dead, or I shall make sure your membership to this Guild is withdrawn, and your pieces scattered for the carrion."

He looked to be done, as he started to move away, but suddenly came to a halt. He turned to the rest of those gathered, his voice calm, but bearing cold steel in his tone. "As for the rest of you, Hex is a member of this guild, the same as all of us. Such seething anger should not be present on a lady's visage, and her methods, while unsightly, possess good intentions. Sometimes, one must excise a toe, to save the leg, and the leg, to save the body. You would do well to remember that."

He turned back to Hex, his voice softening slightly as he spoke now, to her. "If you must perform your...technologically-enhanced experiments on one of our own's bodies, at least consult Guildmaster Viera before you do, AFTER everyone has had time to grieve. And do perform it in a place outside of the sight of others. You may not put any stock in morals, but I do not wish to see you be... ejected from the guild for something as silly as this." He looked down at the young boy's face, now sunken and sullen, pale. The flame of life, extinguished, so soon. His eyes were closed, but his face was still contorted into one of pain. Altair's face hardened, then he spoke once more to Hex. "Now go. Show those mages what your own brand of 'magic' can do."

Finally, the swordsman turned to Yamato. He studied the man's features. How painful it must be to lose a sibling. He couldn't even begin to imagine the pain that was coursing through the man's entire body. What was it that wracked his guildmate so? Guilt? Sorrow? Remorse? There was little a man like Altair can do. Wordlessly, he lifted Satoshi from his back, cradling it between his arms, and slowly offered him to Yamato. He would have to bear the weight of his brother for the last time. There was nothing Altair himself could say. Words were useless. Actions spoke louder. "Take him," was all he uttered to the brother.

Elizabeth Redd

Sirens Song - Captains Quarters 8A541224-973D-4310-8B2A-5643A98A1008.jpeg The fight was taking much longer than the red-heading firecracker had initially thought it would. Eliza truly thought that with one punch, she’d have been able to knock the weirdo before her clean out, and continue to go about her day. Much to her disgust, the stranger was much more capable than she was willing to accept and this just fuelled Eliza’s desire to break her even more. As the torrent of explosions seemingly decimated the surrounding area, the very furniture become a target as the magic tore through everything in its path. The gravity in the room soon changed thanks to the efforts of Reiss, and whilst Eliza seemed to be void to its effect, the remaining pieces of furniture shot upwards accompanied by the very blasts of explosion magic that Eliza had released. The red head was forced to watch as her explosions annihilated the ceiling above, to which she gave a grimace of disgust at the sight, her eyes tearing up ever so slightly. “FUCKING WITCH! YOU’RE DESTROYING THE SHIP!”.

The gravity returned to normal as Eliza began her charge towards the woman, fists curled and her Strengthening Magic activated passively, thus granted Eliza boosts to her speed, durability, and strength. “LETS GO!” She yelled, teeth bearing as she approached the woman. As Reiss grabbed her head and brought her armoured knee towards her face at full force, Eliza grabbed onto Reiss’ arms and kicked upwards, her explosion magic activated from her feet as the small blasts sent her blasting upwards and over Reiss with a graceful yet intricately timed flip. “YOU OUGHTA DO BETTER THEN THAT! SPOOKY BITCH!” Her voice booming as per usual, Eliza swiped her left hand aggressively as several explosions took form around Reiss’ frame, in an attempt to shatter her armour and to obscure her vision. The onslaught of explosions tore threw the ship once again, they seemed unforgiving and untameable. As the explosions were still going off, Eliza kicked downwards with explosive force in an attempt to catch Reiss off guard, hoping that the explosions would provide suitable cover for the true threat that was her raw strength, amplified by her Strengthening Magic and being brought down upon the stranger with full force in the form of a kick.
