1564380623137.pngArmin Sterling
Location: Mountain Base

And of course, he didn't even have a moment to get into finding the others. Really, he should've expected even more bad luck after the biggest embarrassment of his career as a mage, but still, the first door he opens and he has to deal with another dark mage. This one seemed stronger than the muscle guy, too. Armin couldn't catch a break today, starting with having all his hard work putting up decorations going to waste because the other members of Lamia Scale couldn't help acting so childish, and now he had to face some masked weirdo who didn't seem very keen on talking things out peacefully. No matter what, Armin could just feel that his day would just keep snowballing into worse and worse things. What next, a dragon would show up just to prove that his luck was that bad?

The armored mage looked at his new enemy, who seemed to be antagonizing him a little bit. Underneath the metal helmet, Armin's mouth turned into a deep frown. "Honestly, I'm a little touchy on the whole 'lost' thing right now, mate, so don't get me started on that. And I'm not looking for anything, I'm looking for anyone, the anyone being some of the other Guild mages. As much as you seem fun to tussle with, I want to try to make it up to the others for being late, so I gotta get goin-" Armin paused as he noticed the gas beginning to come over him. In the dimly lit hallway, he hadn't been able to see it clearly. He poured more magic into his armor, metal forming over any openings in the armor to protect himself as he jumped a couple times backwards, bumping into the wall and sliding back along it before he opened up the holes in his helmet again so he could see. "Well that was close."

Armin heard a sizzling sound and looked down at his hands in surprise. The Earthbreaker armor was beginning to melt, bubbling slightly as it eroded away into thin air. Sure, the armor was incredibly durable, but that was mostly to physical attacks and some magical ones. This poison was something it couldn't survive long enough through, as was evident as it crawled up his arms, and he felt the burning sensation begin on his hands. He quickly severed his connection to the armor, it turning back into it's standard thick liquid and returning to the stone on his arm. He looked up, adjusting his glasses now that he could reach them. "Erosion magic. Okay, my good karma is definitely running out. What are the odds someone has the perfect counter to the guy who uses armor to fight?" He looked down at himself, remembering how his shirt had ripped apart when he had donned his armor earlier. He crossed his arms in front of him, smiling a little sheepishly. "Sorry, my shirt got ruined when I was fighting one of your pals."

So his Earthbreaker armor was out of commission at the moment, at least until it was fixed inside the stone. And the poison had harmed his hands slightly, as the backs and fingertips of them were beginning to turn pink. He could feel the burning sensation still as well, and it seemed to be slowly spreading up his skin. Hopefully he could get Serina to fix it so it didn't cause any permanent damage. Right now, his best bet to get it to stop spreading was to take out the source, which would be his current opponent. Armin looked up at the man, a slight glint appearing in his eyes. "Seems I can't just let you get away at this point. Sorry, but now you're an actual threat, and I can't allow you to harm others." Armin reached to an ebony stone embedded in his abdomen, tapping it with his finger. "The name's Armin Sterling, by the way. Thought I would at least let you know who you'd be tangoing with for the next few minutes." As he spoke, strings of black leather spewed out from underneath the stone, wrapping around his body to form a suit of black leather clung close to his skin. He continue wrapping around him, covering all but the top half of his head. Much of the rest of the armor seemed to warp in in a purple light, including a red, tattered loincloth and assortments of bone and animal tooth ornaments. Holding out his hand, a white mask of bone appeared in the same purple light, which he placed on his head quickly, finishing the Duskprowler Armament.

Rasil Brandhart
images (23).jpeg
Rasil let out a wickedly jagged laugh, amused by the results of his actions. The man's eyes seemingly spinning in his noggin, and stars floating above his head. "Hehehehe, round an round they go! Where do they land!? Nobody knows! Hehehehe! Ohh look he's a pinta! Yay!!!" He said running over to the corpse of the man who had previously attacked Maradis, and to the other mages horror began devouring his spilled guts. To most this would be very odd behavior, but to Rasil it was just another meal. It had nothing on the stuff you were forced to eat on hell to fight off the hunger. Not that Rasil minded the hunger, he just enjoyed tormenting himself with putrid meals.

He sat listening and devouring his meal, savoring the juices, and the metallic taste of blood in every bite. When the dark mages ran off in terror Rasil waved goodbye, a human liver in one hand, and intestines the other."Bye-bye! Hope you come back!" He called cheerfully through mouthfuls of guts. Then be gave a disgusted look towards Morik as he ran off. Rail didn't like that guy. Acting all buddy buddy with his girl. Rasil had tortured people far less, and if they hadn't been in a hurry he would have done the same to him.

Suddenly Rasil heard something he wasn't expecting from Maradis. Was that...fear? It most definitely was. Rasil had heard enough from his victims to peg it in anyone. But Maradis? What would she be scared of? Suddenly Rasils one good eye widened, and his pupil shrunk to a mere dot, giving him a even crazier look than normal. His body tensed up, and he suddenly smiled in a frightening manner, one that even Maradis hadn't seen from him before. "I really don't like that man. I think I'll break him next time we meet. Yea, I'd like that. So you don't need to be afraid my love. Because as long as I exist nothing will touch you, or the child. I know he's important to you." Rasil spoke in a calm, and emotionless tone. One akin to a serial killer, almost calculating in tone."Yes, and if anyone does try to do anything to stop us...ooooh!" Rasil suddenly contorted his body in a twisted manner, bending backwards until he was staring at an upside down Maradis his expression still the horrifying new one she hadn't seen before. "I'll make them see things our way. Yes, I'll hurt them. I'll shower them in the beautiful light of pain! I'll cut their skin of strip by strip, crush their eyes as many times as I need. Pluck every nail off their body, slit their eyelids so that they can't close their eyes! I'll pull their intestines out like links on a sausage, and force them to devour them. I'll pull their hearts out and squeeze them as they beat in my hands. The rhythm growing as the pain increases, beating faster and faster blood soaking our bodies as we are joined in together in the ceremony of pain, UNTILTHEYKNOWTHEBEAUTYOFPAIN!!! OOOOH I'M GETTING SO EXCITED I CAN'T WAIT! LETS GO FIND SOMEONE TO SPREAD THE JOYS OF PAIN WITH!!! I DON'T THINK I CAN HOLD MYSELF BACK ANY LONGER!" Rasil said, now squeezing himself so tightly in a hug that his own bones could be heard cracking. His expression now one of someone in the climax of love making. He leapt to his feet, gladly ready to follow his beloved anywhere."Yes! I will follow you to the darkest pits of hell, or the brightest hills of heaven my darling! So long as we are together all will know our gospel!!! All will join us in hell!" He said approaching her for his roach mask, and ready to follow into the smoke.

Serd, Bons, Grax, Jinto, Despair, Kai, Ilia

  • Serd panted lightly as he recovered, the boy in a small secure shack away from Messei and Rayleigh. Though it didn't look like much, for what it was worth it was a fortress. Strong and durable despite its seemingly not so appearance, though far from invulnerable. All around the girls was an eerily and dimly lit landscape, odd softly glowing trees and plants growing. There was even a pitch black lake beside them. "Welcome." Serd spoke, his voice echoing around them. "I had hoped to bring your other friend here too...but you broke my concentration." He said, sighing heavily. "Ah well...removing two will still be a big help I suppose, even if one of you is rather useless." He commented, able to tell quite quickly the girl wasn't powerful. Or if she was her fear made her power useless.

"Try to have fun alright?" He asked, chuckling a little. Soon after five huge dark globs rose from the ground a few feet away from the duo, formless at first before soon taking the form of imposing humanoid figures carrying a sword and a large shield. Their eyes opened, pure white and souless glowing the same faint glow some of the plants held. They let out a horrid cry, their maws also glowing, both rushing after Rayleigh.

Viera closed her eyes and shook her head, finding it almost unbelievable that he thought such an excuse would hold any weight. "I've seen plenty of fortresses in my time and none of them were as drab and poorly maintained as yours." As the man began to monologue she rolled her eyes and folded her arms under her chest, shifting her weight to the other leg as she dutifully listened. Her gaze was off to the side, her focus trailing along the wall as the man's words filled the air. To an outside observer it almost looked like a schoolgirl ignoring a lecture by the principle. Though none would fault her as the man essentially went down a check-list, spilling his plans and explaining everything. It was all rather cliche. The silver-haired guild master couldn't help but offer another roll of her eyes as the man called himself intelligent. "Not intelligent enough to keep your mouth shut." She silently whispered under her breath, not bothering to interrupt her foe as he carried on.

The mention of hostages finally drew her focus back to him. She was only mildly surprised to hear about the abductions and testing, but then that was all par for the course for these types of groups. Her eyes darted at the various screens behind the man, taking in what flashed across them before returning her focus back to the man as he got to his feet. As the man gave his final ultimatum she took a deep breath, closing her eyes as she mulled it over. She allowed silence to linger over the pair for a good while before once again opening her eyes. "Do what the big strong villain says otherwise he will have the hostages executed. With a threat like that I kind of wish Willy was in my place." She waved her hand dismissively before resting it upon her waist. "I think I'll have to pass, however. As much as I would love to entertain your little power fantasy, you're simply in no position to threaten me."

Taking another deep breath she held her hand out to her side, her entire form flashing gold revealing a blade in her hand after the light diminished. "Honestly I really don't care about your hostages. That worthless council never even told us you had any. So it is not as if we will be held responsible if you had them all killed before we even breached the walls. correct? It's what a vile bunch of cultists would do. No one would hold it against us." Her own wicked grin tugged at her lips as she peered up at the taller, armor-clad man. It was clear in her eyes that she was no stranger to seeing innocents killed. "If anything that just gives me the leverage I need to kill you outright. That's the problem with light guilds, they're so stuffy about their rules and adhering to the law. We're not allowed to kill anyone. But if it was a desperate fight against the cultist's leader in an attempt to rescue a bunch of innocents... I think you can see where I am going with this."

As she spoke she slowly made her way forward. Long, slow, methodical steps leading her closer and closer to the man. That predatory glint in her eyes, the look of a hunter who has gone far too long without a hunt. "So let's put this all to the test. Who knows, perhaps my adorable Guild Members can rescue the hostages before I end your life." Having closed almost half the distance between them her blade began to glow a vibrant, neon blue. She held it low to the side, the tip of the blue blade effortlessly carving through the floor as if it were made of butter. A deliberate show of force to her foe. She spared one final glance at the neglected monitors behind the man before suddenly bolting forth with impressive speed. She brought her blade in from the side, clearly aiming to cut the man down with her first strike should he not defend himself.

Maev jumped when she felt someone come up behind her. Before she could draw a card, her eyes were covered and she was brought into a familiar hug. At first, she was surprised, but then she became annoyed and started to wriggle, "L-let me go, Morik. Come on. I'm fine. You don't have to worry about me all the time." After a moment, her tone changed, though, "RRRRRGH! LET ME BURN THEM!"

Kana fought for quite a while. She hated when her brother did this. He'd explained his reasoning before, but she honestly thought it was dumb. She wouldn't let things go too far, but she needed to let out her emotions in some way, and that was the only way she knew how. Which is why it felt like being in a prison every time she was suppressed. She didn't want to be normal. Finally, she took a deep breath and said, "Morik, I'm fine. Can we please join the fight again? Its not like we'll have many chances to fight like this, so can we just enjoy it, please?'

The place was eery in a sense. Like something out of a horror movie. The boy appeared again to taunt Rayleigh and Messei.
Honestly Rayleigh was beginning to feel alittle annoyed. He honestly was only alive still by pure luck of the sword not impaling him and instead impaling the beast.
He summoned a few monsters made out of black substance and when they shrieked and charged at Rayleigh she reacted by turning into a sparrow and flying back towards messei before changing back to normal.
"What the hell are these things?" Rayleigh said.
The boy was gonna be dead after this for sure. There was no way Rayleigh was going to leave him alive.
Still Rayleigh felt like she was at a disadvantage if she had to protect Messei. How were they gonna find their way out of this place.
Frustrated she decided to just burn the enemies. It would atleast see how durable they were or what kind of abilities they had.
Using flaming falcons, Rayleigh summoned two falcons made of flames on her arms, as she charged at the monsters and punched them.
"Are you just gonna sit there Messei?" Rayleigh called out to Messei as she fought the monsters off.

Wilson seemingly ignored the comments of those around him. As they berated him with insults due to him causing an avalanche."Hm? What this? Don't tell me a little light snow is enough to dissuade some of Fiore's top mages." He said walking towards the nearest entrance as the snow closed in on him. Despite his bravado, the Avalanche seemed like quite the threat. Although with Wilson it was never clear whether something was a threat to the seemingly unstoppable man or not. But surely mother natures wrath was enough to at least slow the giant down, or at least cool him off.

It seemed like he wouldn't make it. As he approached slowly moving closer, and closer he was almost at the entrance when the white tidal wave of snow fell upon him. After a few moments it seemed like their was no sign of life under the snowy mountain. No show of bravado such as Wilson blowing the snow away with a might strike, no show of speed such as Wilson appearing suddenly having moved just fast enough to not be seen. The Sabertooth Guild Master was seemingly lost within the white death. Obviously at this point you should know though. That he wasn't down and out for good. Somewhere within the snow Wilson was making his way farther, and farther away. Confused as to where he was, his only sight being the white of the snow surrounding him. "This is growing tiresome. Foolish nature, you honestly believe I'd be bested so easily. I am the Guild Master of Sabertooth! YOU BARELY QUALIFY AS AN OBSTACLE TO ME!" Wilson roared, flexing his muscles, and putting his hands together in an odd sort of praying position. Then he started rubbing his hands together, and slowly moving faster and faster. Until much like a fire being started with two sticks, his hands began to glow with intense heat. The speed, and friction increasing to the point his arms were like hot iron brands. Causing the snow around him to slowly begin melting. With his new fiery arms he began moving forward striking the snow and watching it turn to water. The sheer cold of mother nature being no match for Wilson's fiery fist.

Suddenly there was a large explosion from the snow now blocking the entrances. A massive cloud of water vapor obscuring the area leaving no visual as to what was happening. However, Wilson could clearly sense everyone's magical energy around him, making it easier for him to make his way through the thick veil of steam. This gave Wilson plenty of time to think of his next move. With all the fighting going on around him it would be easy to knock in some heads. However, that wouldn't be satisfying. Wilson needed a worthy opponent, someone who could challenge him at least a little. So he would most likely need to head towards the largest source of power in the fortress, aside from the other Guild Masters of course. So he shut his eyes and began searching for the largest enemy source of magic he could. However much to his surprise. He found himself perplexed by a strange signal he was receiving from someone nearby.

His interest caught Wilson headed towards the energy, his massive silhouette occasionally appearing in the steam clouds as he passed nearby mages. That was until he reached his destination, and saw several figures standing before him. He could tell that one was an comrade, and another an enemy. But he couldn't figure out the third. It seemed familiar, but he couldn't quite place it.

Tired of playing the guessing game Wilson opened his hands up, and then clapped them together so hard that another large gust of wind was sent from between his palms, causing at least some of the steam around them to be blown away."That's better...now what's this odd en-er oh...it's you..interesting." Wilson said as his large form was shown to be standing over Cerelia. A confused expression on his mostly hidden face. "Hmm, you're a curious one...I like you. This seems a bit overkill. I'm going to search for bigger prey. Wish to join me? I'm sure whoever this guy is can handle the enemy alone. Seems pretty strong." Wilson said assessing the situation before him. Regardless of her answer he began heading towards the largest source of enemy magic in the fortress."It would be wise of you to ignore me, and continue with your battle at hand. Otherwise, I'll put you under." Wilson warned sending a bit of murderous intent towards Bons. As he passed, however keeping his eyes on the path before him."If you're coming then hurry up, and do enjoy the fight whatever your name is, " Wilson said giving a backwards wave to Aedon, however he still kept his eye's on the path ahead.

He blocked and parried his attacks perfectly, but Dante's attacks were too fast for him to keep up. Dante' landed more attacks one after another, and even though JInto didn't show it, he knew he was causing damage to him. The rage within Dante' was still there, however there was a grin of joy upon his face. A grin that grew bigger once Jinto side stepped and sent a powerful punch towards his jaw. "Too slow." Dante' said before vanish in a blink of an eye, avoid the punch. He appeared instantly a few feet away from Jinto, and summoned a chain. He slung it at Jinto at high speed, and willing it to wrap around his body, from his neck to his ankle. • Saria and FreidaSaria had expected this attack to at-least knock the boy out. At-least she hoped so. She was only A-Class so she couldn't exactly send out any moves against mages that would outright kill them or anything. Mages were hardier folk than people that lacked magic after all. What she was worried about was that blast used a fair amount of her magic power...she couldn't exactly toss those around like candy. Of course, once again, it seemed to do absolutely nothing to the boy. "HOW!?" She shouted in confusion and anger. It was evident he was immune or resistant to her attacks. Even an S-Class unless they were super strong would of felt something from the shock! Both girls stared blankly at Nevms as he hopped up entirely unscathed, well, aside from any scratches he incurred from falling.

Their shocked gazes soon turned to a glare as he taunted them. Just who the hell did this kid think he was? "Dammit look out!" Saria shouted as Nevms threw the door. Freida had to be kept in play otherwise Nevms could easily deal with her. One of the males under her control used Rock Make to toss a large hammer that destroyed the door. The hit to Freida's skull connected with full force...at the same time another large stone hammer hit Nevms' side. The actual damage with his rubber physique was dubious at best, though the best Freida could come up with at such a short notice.

She cried out in pain as the blow hit her the woman crumpling in a heap on the ground groaning and holding her head. She was entirely dazed, not really knocked out but she may as well of been. Saris cursed under her breath, grabbed a nearby chair, and rushed Nevms with it. Her magic may be useless, and she wasn't exactly herculean in strength, but dammit she had to do something!

1564976909984.pngArmin Sterling
Location: Mountain Base

Armin flexed his hands in the armor, making sure he didn't have too much trouble. His body was normally weak, but typically he could push through most problems or pain with the assistance of armor. This was still the case, as while it hurt, the poison didn't seem to cause any damage that wouldn't heal. He could handle the pain until he was finished with this mission. And as far as he knew, he hadn't inhaled any of it, so he was still safe on that end. It probably was best to keep it that way, as well.

Armin looked up as the man scoffed at his choice of armor. Armin shook his head. "If the Earthbreaker armor had trouble resisting this poison, I can't focus solely on just standing through it. Whats the point of strength if I can't get close enough to you to use it, or defense if it will just not do anything?" Armin watched the poison begin to approach him again, and he sighed. "Good to know you only have one gimmick. I swear, you bad guys just don't have the fun arsenals you used to. It's boring." He placed a hand on the wall next to him, and a small spark of purple magical energy flashed underneath it. As he pulled his hand away, there was a dimly glowing purple mark in the shape of his hand there. He then began to take steps backwards, trying to stay out of the range of the poison.

He had to figure out a way to beat this guy before he was too far away. He wasn't even sure if this guy had a limit on the range he could send out the poison before it dissipated, or if it even dissipated in the first place until he was defeated. Those were the abilities he hated, because super long range was where he had a smaller skillset. The Duskprowler Armament was his best bet, but even then he only had so much time before he was too far away. Honestly, this whole situation was getting rather frustrating. Of all the enemies he had to face, he had to face someone with a super strong magic that could easily deal with his own arsenal. Of course, if Alex was in the same predicament Armin was in, he probably would have come up with a plan as soon as he saw the guys magic.

Armin grunted in annoyance as he flexed his hand, purple light flashing as a black, wooden bow appeared in his hand. "I'm getting annoyed. Just let these hit you so we can finish this." He assumed his words fell on deaf ears, but hey, it's always worth a shot. He lifted the bow, pulling back the drawstring. As he did, a bolt of magical energy appeared in the shape of an arrow, stretching as he pulled the string back farther. He had an idea, but he definitely wasn't sure if it was gonna work, hoping it would as he released the string, sending the arrow towards the man down the hallway. He quickly pulled back the bowstring again, launching a succession of five more bolts, each aimed in different directions down the hallway, either towards the floor, walls, or ceiling. As they hit each surface, they seemed to bounce like rubber, ricocheting off in a random direction moving down the hallway. He prayed that they hit or at least threw the dark mage off a bit, but at the moment he just wanted to try out his first plan, and get some more information.

Lucius swiftly shadow shifted into the building as the avalanche cascaded towards the group and watched with a strange mixture of apprehension and anticipation as Sabertooths guild master got buried underneath the snow, morbidly curious to see just how much Wilson could survive. It certainly seemed that he could cross snow off the list as the large man made his way out with little to no effort "Note to self, Wilson Hunt: Hard to kill."

While trailing behind Wilson, Lucius saw Aedon and some other mage he didn't know fighting another of those interesting monsters. The mages' eyes then travelled over to the man he assumed to be summoning them and he chuckled to himself a little as he followed close behind Wilson more curious about what or who he was going after, but not before called back to Aedon "Mr Strom! Try to leave him in one piece! I have some questions I'd like to ask him when we're done here!"

The warrior mage stood there, eyes fixed on the enemy at hand seemingly blocking out everything else. After being mocked by one of the enemies before her, Cerelia scoffed. “Tough words, coming from a flee. I already can tell you’re not a fighter.” Looking over at the other monstrosity before her, Cerelia closed her eyes before pointing her lance towards the dark mage. “You’re a summoner, aren’t you? Presumably specialising in a form of dark thaumaturgy magic. The essence of your magic tells me as such, not to mention your little beast here is attacking defensively. I’ve seen it all before. I assume the creature we killed outside was your doing, hm?

Cerelia spoke with grace and held a patronising tone in her voice as she mocked and belittled the dark mage. Eventually, Aedon blasted the beastly monstrosity with an attack. Only for the beast to then then charge towards Aedon in retaliation, Cerelia readied her lance and with lightning speed she arrived in between her guild mate and the foe, swiping her lance in a graceful fashion before effortlessly blocking the attack. With what seemed to be no time at all, Cerelia raised her free hand as gravity magic seemingly enveloped the beast and sent it hurling towards the far wall behind the dark mage with crushing force. Cerelia slashed her lance to the side as she stood there, a bright yellow magical energy enveloping her. But before she could do anything, Wilson arrived, asking for her to join him before continuing on his path. The woman smiled as she spoke to the Sabertooth Guild Master, “I will join you later Wilson. For now, I must stay and fight. Take out as many dark mages as you can.” After speaking, she dashed forward towards the dark mage with speed akin to that of a meteor. Upon getting close, she transferred the yellow magical energy that surrounding her onto her lance and slashed downwards with formidable magical and physical force, fully intending to defeat him with this one attack.

Robin looked around her cell, trying to see if there was anything useful. Her gaze only returned to the guard once the girl started speaking, addressing her questions. "Zeref...?" Robin repeated the name, a puzzled look clearly evident upon her features. "Zeref's been dead for over a hundred years." Almost the moment the words left her lips she quickly shut up, bringing a hand to her mouth reflexively. It didn't take her much time at all to realize these were probably some insane cultists, and if that was the case, saying Zeref was dead probably wasn't the smartest idea. "U-um. I mean. Um... It's a very nice cell.." She let out an almost silent groan, her words sounding stupid even to her.

The sounds of far-off explosions piqued her interest, a ray of hope shining across her face as she looked down the corridor. Was the fighting because people had come to rescue her? It was a thought she clung desperately too. Turning her focus back to the woman she quickly shook her head. "N-no, I'm good. Unless.. You wanna let me out. I mean, you said you don't even know why I'm here so it should be fine, right?" She knew all too well that wouldn't work, but she had to try all the same. If nothing else it made her feel better than just sitting and wallowing in despair waiting for her rescuers.

A shiver ran up Viera's spine at her opponents expression. The utter confusion over her words, her actions. Oh how she had missed such delightful expressions. Every step toward the man seemed to send a jolt running up her form. The ability to be herself, to be free from the constraints imposed upon her. No Aedon around, no Shade, no Yama, no one around forcing her to keep up her facade. Just her and the walking corpse in front of her, and fortunately dead men told no tales. As she lunged her sadistic grin grew ever wider as the man defended against her strike. Even with her magic coursing through her blade she was still unable to cut through his sword. With sparks flying she offered the man a cute, feminine giggle in reply to his compliment. "Well thank you, I only wish I could say the same to you."

Almost as if in response to her provocation the man thrust out his sword, shoving her away causing her to take an elegant little hop to gain some distance between the two. Her heels clacking against the stone surface, her dress fluttering threatening to reveal more than it should yet always staying it's movement at just the right moment. Her every move was one of grace and precision, as dancing a performance she had done a million times. Viera quirked a brow as the man's sword burst into flame. It was clear he wasn't going to play around, no, the man was very clearly out for a proper fight. Unfortunately for him she had no desire to give it to him as her form glowed and dissipated into nothingness under the weight of his fearsome strike. In that same instant the woman appeared behind the man, her sword already coming down in an overhead swing aimed at the man's arm.

Crimson
Crimson was out on a simple mission, she needed some quick money and decided to take on a small quest, nothing too big, just a bandit hold up that needs cleaning, nothing special. She headed out before most the drama as of recently. The walk was quite long and uneventful, hell even the band cleaning was quite short, there was one mage that wasn't much of a fight, her heavy hits really did him in quick. She actually got more from looting the bandits hold up than what the quest offered, though she was sure they wanted the bandits stuff.. They won't miss a few gold pieces here and there, along with a few gems and jewelry.. She packed enough into her pack to where the bounty, once complete, would add up to the amount the bandits had. No harm in it. She would then make her way back to the guild hall

When Crimson arrived in town, she watched as the guild hall was under attack, she was walking down the road towards the guild, taking her marry time. She soon arrived and stood at the door, "My what a party.. I see these hoes ain't hoes either.. Guess a lap dance is out of the question." she said loudly for the two girls to hear, she noticed one on the ground and then one was going to try and hit someone with a chair, course she was sure whoever she was gonna hit was gonna be able to handle it.. "Aw now that's cute!" she shouted watching he girl with the chair.

Nadine Kazumi - Fairy Tail Guild

Oh, how excited was Nadine to step outside the temple grounds. Minasarou blessed her with a task to take down evil, and she had been waiting to do so for years. Now temporarily free from being a caretaker of temple, she sought to join a guild. Her eyes were set on the Fairy Tail guild.

She waltzed into the guild, noticing it was pretty empty. Was she too late to the party? Perhaps, but she still wanted to explore the building. Before getting to explore, a sound of something crashing caught her attention. She followed the sound until she entered a doorless room.

"Oh my! What is happening here?" Nadine asked, placing the tip of her fingers against her lips in confusion as she looked at people who've seem to be currently fighting. "Is this some type of initiation?" She asked while entering the room and stepping over pieces of debris scattered across the floor. " Or am I in the wrong building? I was certian this is Fairy Tail." She pouted, thinking she might be in the wrong place.

  • Kai, Ilia, Jinto

Ilia jumped a bit as Chuya cried out from her touch, recoiling her hand and frowning. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean too.." She replied feeling awful for causing her more pain like that even accidental. "I'm just glad you're alive...it'll be okay." She said, smiling at her guild mate. She'd be sure to stay by her side and protect her in her injured state. She was sure the others would go on just fine without her.

Kai meanwhile was watching the fight with Jinto just in-case she needed to help. Dante seemed to have things under control but you could never be sure. However just as she was contemplating stepping in Dante turned things around into favor entirely. Jinto had no chance of dodging the chain, not this close up, not that fast.

He cried out in surprise as the chains wrapped around him and grunted as he hit the ground. He grunted and struggled around a little to no avail, "Mmm...Impressive." He muttered with a small sigh. "It seems I need to work on my speed a little...its my loss." He spoke, mostly thinking aloud and sort of accepting his defeat given he couldn't move at all.

Nevms swayed, stumbled and almost tripped over again before catching himself at the last second. Luckily for him, his rubber body mitigated most of the damage from the blows, and all he had to do was try to maintain his balance. A giant toothy grin stretching from one side to the other and taking long, drawn-out breaths. Nevms could hardly believe how well that went. He was distracted enough by his victory of Freida, that he hadn’t noticed Saria reaching out for a chair.

“YATTAAA HAHAHA! EAT THAT LADY!!!” Nevms shouted and proclaimed with pointing fingers to Freida who was dazed on the ground. Jerking his head over in the direction of Saria, who was now charging directly at him with a chair in hand. “Youu!!! LET’S FI-”

"Aw now that's cute!"
“Wha?” Nevms was distracted by a shouting coming from across the Hall. Two newcomers, who, interestingly, Nevms thought to himself; Appeared to be complete opposites of each other. One clad in armor, with hair the red of blood. The other adorned in bright fabrics, with hair of snow. Woah, they look like the types from tales...But whose side are they on? But he could do no wondering on that subject, Saria had been a mere couple feet away from him, and before Nevms had the chance to try to move out of the way or defend himself. Keeled over, and going down into a sprawl on his back with his arms wrapped around his body “AHH CRAAMPS!!!”

The chair came down on Nevms. By the chairs own merit, it didn’t do much. However, doubled with the cramps crawling throughout his body that kept him on a mostly feeble position on the ground. Assuming Saria would continue her assault, the best Nevms could do to defend himself was frantically throw his limbs out toward her in an awkward tussle against the chair from his back. “Away! Away!!” he whined, and shifted his attention to the two new arrivals Nooo! They are bad guys!! SHE IS TRYNA’ KILL MEE!~”

AkagiThe most frightening thing about Sigma, to her, was not his prodigious strength. It was that she could glimpse a little of herself within him. Every passing day, she could feel herself slipping into the same darkness that had consumed Sigma. No one to love. No one to remember her. No one to pull her back from the depths if she fell. But she still loved them. That was the one thing that kept her from sinking to the bottom. She couldn't depend on them, she had to be the one who had to keep swimming upwards towards the light. She loved them even if she was nothing more than just a fleeting shadow tailing behind them, following everything she was told to do. This was her duty. She had to protect every single one of them.

Love. That was all it is. That was what was missing from Sigma. That was what set her apart from him. In the split second before his punch connected, the dark aura around her flared up once more.

His fist struck her helmet, and the armor beneath his knuckles cracked, resisted, then shattered entirely. Her long, silver hair came undone, spilling out of the shattered helmet onto her back. His attack broke through the armor, and slammed into her face. Her rear foot shifted, and she inched backwards ever so slightly from the impact, but she did not fall. She grunted, then pushed back against Sigma's fist, turning to face him eye-to-eye. With an almost casual flick of her right hand, she batted away his fist, and then slammed her left fist into his abdomen right below his solar plexus, the darkness that swirled tumultuously on her fist surging forwards and striking him once more, a blast of unrestrained destructive power piercing through his body. Her right hand, wreathed in the same darkness, grabbed hold of his face again. Directing all the energy into her palm, she released one grand explosion, compacted all into his head.

Words were no longer necessary. She could only pray he found love and a better reason to fight than the one he had now in the future.

The sky was filled with clouds but not a single drop of rain fell, they just stayed stationary as the sun peaked out around the corner of them, providing light to the world below. Most people would be cheerful that the sun was high in he sky, but for Veronica it was the other way around, she hated the sun, for her it signified happier times when she enjoyed living and when she wished for sunny days. She had been broken twice now, the first time when she lost her family, and the second when she lost the love of her life. For her these losses took the light from inside her, a light that probably never would be repaired, but alas she lived in hopes that it would be, though that was unbeknownst to her. She still found her way to move on, to take up missions and to somehow move forward in her life. She walked through a rather familiar forest, the one on the outskirts of Magnolia, on her way back from a mission to slay some magical beast that was terrorizing some town or what not, she never really did tell anyone where she was going on her many trips, she would usually just leave and come back in a few days to turn in the quest reward. She soon approached a lake in the forest, she hadn't really stuck to the roads, she preferred wandering a bit, and taking a more direct path than the roads had to offer. As she approached she could see her reflection in the lake, she still had the appearance of a beautiful young girl but inside she had all but rot away, she sighed, looking upon the few new scars she had and decided to keep on with her journey. The forest was humid and against her pale skin the heat feel more drowning than warm, she figured it would probably rain sometime in the near future.

As she approached the edge of the forest she began to see the town of Magnolia, the place where her guild, Fairy Tail, had made its roots. She approached the town, not really paying attention to what was going on, she was lost in thought. She had been gone for about 2 weeks on her last mission, which was honestly longer than it should have taken her because she had decided to take her time and just get away from the guild for a few days. Honestly she wasn't really looking forward to walking into the guild and hearing the endless banter of her comrades, or the comments of the townsfolk for that matter. Perhaps she would just take another request right away and occupy herself with that for a while. She walked through town with her head down as she was lost in though, the chatter of the town began to pull her back to her senses though, hearing the words "Fairy Tail" and "Attack" a few times over, as she looked up in the direction facing the guild she could see that there was clearly something wrong. With that she rushed to the guild and entered. She saw three unknown women, one running at, um, ugh, Nevm was it? with a chair, one on the ground obviously after taking an attack, and another one that seemed rather confused, either as a ploy or she actually didn't know what was happening. She also saw Crimson, standing about seemingly not helping. Veronica almost sighed, but despite the hint of annoyance on her her face an attack against Fairy Tail was a serious offence in her books. Veronica grabbed the wrapping on her arm, a fresh white wrapping with some hints of blood on it, likely from her last meal rather than her own. She let the wrapping come loose and fall off her arm, revealing some nasty scars and a long cut that was nearly healed over. As she approached the girl on the floor the look of anger appeared on her face as her eyes turned pale and cold, looking more like those of a serial killer with each approaching step. The veins in her arm bulged as she flex the muscle, reopening the wound on the underside of her arm. "Talon of the Blood Dragon" she said as blood spilled out from the freshly opened wound and formed a sleek looking blade of blood. She crouched down by the girl who was in a daze of sorts, twisting her fingers into her hair and putting the blade to her neck, her gaze now fixed on the woman with the chair, "Surrender, or this one dies" She said in a cold voice filled with a killing intent that wouldn't be excepted from any fairy, herself included.

Viera's sadistic grin never left her lips. Even as the two fought that smug arrogance continued to emanate from the woman. If anything her joy grew that much more at the man's obvious anger and confusion, at the way he managed to guard against her attacks. It was rare for anyone in these lands to stand against her, it was nice to see the man able to hold his own even if just a little. Her joy was mingled with slight confusion as her blade dug into his armor, yet did not cut cleanly through. The sword she could understand as it was clearly augmented, but for his armor to stop a blade that could effortlessly sear through solid metal, it caught her off guard. A fact her opponent was more than willing to exploit with a sudden reprisal of his own. With no time to act she let go of her sword, it's brilliant blue glow dying as soon as she unhanded it. The woman was quick, bringing her arms up to block the man's punch.

She grit her teeth and let out a faint grunt of pained exertion as her entire form was sent sliding back a foot or two before dissipating into nothingness once again only to reappear to the man's side, a new sword in hand already being swung in his direction. As powerful as she was she could tell by that hit that she was no match for him in terms of raw strength. She would have to abuse the utility of her magic if she wanted to win, not that such a concept was foreign to her. As her blade came in at the man it took on a similar blue glow to her previous one, almost humming as energy coursed through it's length.

  • 88E2C5C0-3F04-4EE6-93A3-73478AD462AB.pngAs soon as she boarded the vessel, they took off in a quick haste towards their guildhall. The vessel stayed somewhat low to the ground as it weaved it’s way through the terrain. Ikora couldn’t help but think about what might’ve occurred during the absence from the guild and the town. She hoped that the cultist were merciful enough not to harm any of the women and children within Margaret Town and the guild. She soon started to blame herself for not seeing this sneak attack coming. She was too worried about fighting and beating up on cultist that she completely forgot to think about defenses for their home. She smacks her teeth, before sending her fist into the side of the vessel in anger, creating a small spark of white lightning. “So stupid.” She says with her head down. “Everything will be okay.” She says trying to calm herself down.
Soon enough they arrived at the outskirts of Margaret Town. From their current location everything was very visible, and Ikora was glad to see that everything was okay and normal. There were no signs of a siege or enemy activity around town. The people were safe, and their home can continue living their precious lives. Her eyes then fell upon the guild hall, and from the outside there was nothing wrong. If Ikora was truly naïve, she would think that there was no cultist attack, and it was all a hoax. Luckily she wasn’t, and even though there was nothing wrong on the outside, she was still getting a bad vibe about it entirely. “If they got in as easily as it seems, then we gotta upgrade our defenses.” Ikora says. “Let’s just get going. I don’t wanna wait any longer.” With that said, Alex mentions a secret passage, that causes Ikora to raise an eyebrow in question. How in the hell did she not know about this passage? And did Alex never tell her until now? Can’t be any other reason besides it being a Morne family secret. At least it better be, or Alex would get a knuckle sandwich.
Ikora followed Alex through the passage quietly, trying not to lose her cool. But the closer she got to the guild, the more she wanted to go berserk and beat anyone who harmed her comrades. Finally the arrived at the guild’s doors and Alex sent the doors flying open. Whatever’s happening behind these doors, will determine Ikora’s next course of action. Tyson was kind of disappointed by the fight his foe put up. He knew physically only those who were more built for CQC could take him. But this was still ridiculous. All her moves proved useless. Tyson had assumed as much, he much rather have taken on the big guy. At least then Tyson wouldn't have had put so little effort into it. Why was his fate so cruel? He came back hoping to relax after his long journey. Now he had to deal with dark mages, and not even a strong one. Well at least she seemed capable of taking his headbutt. So she wasn't completely helple-eeeeeesssss.... Tyson stood in the same stance his grip not letting off if anything it only got tighter around her neck. The kick seemed to do little more than annoying the large Red headed man."Hmh, quite the low blow. I can't blame you for doing whatever to win. But now it's my turn." Suddenly the air around them began to crackle with electricity, causing both their heads of hair to rise in the air like some sort of shonen protagonist powering up for battle."Now...DIE!" Tyson roared sending lightning coursing through her body, and then just as quickly turning towards her brute of a friend fighting Akagi, and tossing her much like a thunderbolt."HUMAN THUNDERBOLT!!!" He yelled as he flung her still electric form at her comrade, which caused her to move much faster through the air, and made her impact much harder. Although not to snipe Akagi's enemy. The attack probably wouldn't take the big guy out. "Hmph, unfortunately for you such cheap attacks don't work on me." He confidently boasted, or at least as confident as someone like Tyson could sound always being so indifferent to most things. However deep inside his mind, why me....why world....why did you have to let me be the one to be struck in the family jewels. I really should have stayed with dad...." However being the soldier he was Tyson kept his composer never for a moment revealing that he was injured by the cheap attack. Even if every nerve down there was screaming out in pain.

So. For those who don't check Discord regularly. It was voted on that there'd be a timeskip. This was done both due to a few reasons. 1. Things have been slowing down, mostly due to the fact I started such a large scale arc for the first one before anyone got a chance to interact. 2. People have been busy irl, and with it being a more grand scale arc fell behind and lost motivation. But mostly 3. So many of you are new ^-^! You guys need an easier way to get introduced into the RP and help breathe motivation into it. I'm sure things will go smoother once everyone has some time to interact.

There won't be another large act for a while. Rather instead, you guys are free to go on missions yourselves and interact freely for the time being. I also encourage you all that have ideas for arcs, be they smaller or bigger, to contact me so that we can go over them now that I can focus on them solely and not the main arc.

Hope you new folks enjoy the RP! I look forward to RPing with you all ^-^!

As before those who were in the timeskip can write a pre-timeskip wrap up if they want, if not that's fine, up to you.
October 31st, X893, 10 AM

It's been nearly a month since the raid on the Cult of Zeref's two main known fortress' and the guild halls being attacked. Every team sent to the Light Guilds' halls were captured save for the team in Blue Pegasus who ended up getting too drunk waiting on people to return to blow their cover. Out of the mountain teams' men most were captured, Desmond among the people who escaped though gravely wounded. In the Forest side of things both men mysteriously vanished without a trace, though all the lesser mages save for a handful were rounded up and imprisoned.

The Council offered aid with their healer division for the Light Guilders that were injured both on the teams and at the guild halls, an extra stipend also added to the reward to repair any and all damages caused by the lack of foresight the Council had to truly expect an assault on the halls. Overall, especially with the rescue of many hostages, the mission was remarked as a success on both sides earning the Guilds their full payment.

Once the paperwork was filed and everyone got some rest the Halloween preparations and festivities went back into full swing. And now on the day of one of the most revered holidays Earthland's magic community the streets were lined with fun, games, street vendors, and various ceremonies likely to last well on into the next morning. It was something everyone needed after the mission, and something everyone needed as a whole to celebrate the Cults' diminished activity.

For now, things seemed completely peaceful aftee the decisive blow was struck. All that remained was for everyone to have fun with the holiday.
