Appearance: Usually wears all black and a blue jeans during all seasons. On the back of his right shoulder is a dragon tattoo/mark that takes up the width and length of his entire right shoulder blade. The other tattoo is another dragon mark except on the front of his right shoulder.

Personality: Keeps to himself and most of the time chooses to do everything by himself if he can, he dislikes killing and fighting for no reason because he doesn't want to hurt the people he cares about but likes to go into fighting tournaments or spar. He's mostly chill pretty much all the time but can get agitated easily by being annoyed. Always never wanting to talk too much or take help from people but his stubbornness is easily broken sometimes.


Abilities: He is able to fly, glide and jump incredible distances and heights easily and has a ridiculous amount of strength bundled inside of him, even though he may not look strong. He killed a guy with one punch to his ribs puncturing his lungs. Doesn't tend to want to hurt people because he can't control his power, part of the reason why he practices martial arts whenever he has free time. Lastly, he also plays an electric guitar, nothing else.


Flying: Yes he can fly but that's not all his wings can do. Whenever he unleashes a mass amount of power they spark with black lightning.


Devouration: This is about the worst power Hitsugya has which is why he usually forgets about it for if he killed more and more people the creature inside of him would need more and more people's souls to keep it at bay. The ability itself allows him to completely incinerate someone's soul (or life force whatever you want to call it) then absorb it. It gives him more energy and strength but it corrupts him if used too much.


Black fire/lightning: He has manipulation and control over lightning and black flame, one of the strongest types of fire that has an eerie feeling to it, can burn through mostly anything it comes across, and can't be put out by any physical means though magic is effective sometimes in this case.

Basically his entire backstory



Hitsugya's parents were both Archangels though they weren't a very prominent in Heaven, they were more around the lower ranks. They met while they were both on Earth helping a life pass on. Life was peaceful for them except when they began questioning rule of Heaven, which led to them making the choices that they paid for it by being forced to live their lives as mortals. Their child was born around that time and their removal from Heaven was decided before they could leave, leaving their unholiness to be passed down to their child, Hitsugya, but before they were gone for good Hitsugya's father sealed the cursed dragon Burraku inside of his son in hopes of it maybe protecting him. At the time Hitsugya was only at the age of 3 and lost any memory he had of his parents. His father was deceived and both him and his wife were erased from the world, Hitsugya was cast away to live on Earth with the dreadful dragon haunting him and the punishment of a Fallen Angel.


He was found in an back alley when he was a baby, no name, no past, no family. He was alone and the person who found him in Kyoto Japan had no indication of his name other than a tattoo of a black dragon on his back that revealed the name "Hitsugya" (pronounced Hit-su-guy-a), and his strange tattoos around his bicep and shoulder, along with the black wings that stuck out of the young childs back. He took him in and nicknamed him Hitsu, for short, teaching the child various things about his culture and fantasy that only a child would enjoy, taking in the thought that this child may be a special person. Later, after the man had taken him in, he left for the U.S in search of a fresh start, to get away from his smuggling past. Sadly the moment they arrived he was taken to jail for being the supposed criminal smuggler, Yamazaki Jomei. Hitsugya, nearly 8 at the time, was yet again taken into the hands of authority and placed into foster care, this time an actual family taking him in.


The family he was forced to live with was absolutely horrible. His step parents were worried about his oddness and sought to keep his oddity's secret or hidden by making him feel as though he was different, making him cover up his wings and hide his tattoo's that, in their eyes, was the act of a delinquent. Throughout the rest of his childhood he was bullied and neglected by people at his school, leading him to be depressed and very lonely during his younger years, which lead to him taking martial arts, being the only place he could take his anger out and actually practice something that came natural to him. Many competitions and tournaments he won with his talent of fighting but no matter how many good things happened he just ended up being shut down and his family continued the same thing, at least still allowing him to practice it but not allowing him to have any other freedom, besides the times he snuck out to try and practice actually flying. Three months away from his 10th birthday he was jumped by a group of 8 classmates who surrounded him and beat him, shoved him and even strangle him until he was in tears. Nobody came as he screamed at the top of his lungs shouting out the names of his family but no one came. He got so angry that he punched the person who sought to see him in tears and down on the ground where he supposedly belonged, and shattered 2 of the kids ribs with such force that they punctured his lungs making him die of internal bleeding. He turned to the other kids and threw 2 of them through a nearby wall. Nearly killing all of them in his rage he realized what he'd done but he couldn't stop himself. It was as if he wasn't in control of himself at all and under the influence of a more powerful presence. A 3 month long suspension was his punishment, and once he was allowed back at school nothing was the same. Nobody talked to him, they shunned him and swore at him whenever they saw him, not like it was much of a change but to him it was because he was the one who had done something. Even though he wasn't in control he felt as though it were still his fault that he couldn't control whatever it was that made him do it. Constantly he was haunted by the creature -who shaped itself as Hitsugya's 'alternate self' in his mind- that he tries so hard to suppress, and still is haunted by it every day which is why he can't ever sleep. One night, while he was alone and cold, he decided to leave it all, let it all go away and seclude himself for real, leaving behind whatever it is he had and sweeping it under the rug. Now he lives in his own in an apartment and goes to school.

when he was young he went to St Giles, an academy for mythics, but there were a group of older kids who were Purists, and they attacked him, believing he didn't deserve to live because he was a half-breed. due to his healing magic, he survived the attack, but he lost his sight due to heavy head trauma. he also had scars all up and down his arms- so he got tattoos. some wonder why he got tattoos when he can't see them, but he knows that they're there, so was the pain of getting them. just after the attack he left.


Other: Blind, touchy if someone mentions his scars, sarcastic, but also very protective.

Name: Blake Serias Thrush


Appearance:
He stands tall and proud, with a head held up and a chest puffed out. Still, he isn't the tallest there is, and is roughly the median height for the average man. He has a strong upper body build with a defined chest, strong neck and shoulder muscles, and powerful biceps, with a respectable lower body as well. His hair is a blazing orange colour, with a brownish, rusty colour at the base, and his hair being tipped in white. His bright hazel eyes constantly shine with amusement, even though they're normally hidden under his unkempt hair's long bangs. He has curled ears and a small curled nose, giving his small face an almost impish look.


Over his upper body, he wears a brown, sleeveless vest with a couple pockets here and there to store gold. It's unadorned, and is made to make it easier for him to breakdance (which is how he fights). His hands are gloved in brown gloves similar to his vest, but they are adorned with small blue stones that appear to be the same as the necklace he has around his neck, which is made up of five large, blue stones. Besides that, he mostly walks around shirtless, ignoring whatever cold he may feel.


He wears baggy, light brown pants to help his legs be able to breath, though the bottoms of his pants are stuffed into hiking boots that, like most of his ensemble, are brown. However, they have highlights of orange, and are jet black where the toes are, so that his kicks hurt a lot more. His sole is this same jet-black colour. Down his forearms and shins, he wears shield-like metal gauntlets and shin-guards that help with kicking and punching (or blocking punches).

Samba





Sambas are magical spirits that inhabit different forms depending on their attributes, both as far as personality traits go, and ability to form and use magic. Being a Fire Samba, Blake most often takes the body of a Man, as it is one of the few creatures that have mastered his element- Fire. As such, he fears the element opposite himself (water), is severely affected by magic that targets the soul, and if its body is destroyed, it'll be sent back to the Saelverse, the birthplace of all Sambas. However, it will re-incarnate in a few hundred or so years. Their bodies are naturally weaker than a creature of this worlds, and can be destroyed much more easily, but can accomplish more impressive feats as a result. However, there is one way to revive them quicker: if you fuel their Earthbound Object with enough energy coherent with their element, or you sacrifice a soul, you can revive their bodies immediately. (The age and type of soul do not matter, so long as it is something of similar size.) There are currently 5 Sambas: Fire, Water, Wind, Nature, Light, and Dark, each of which have a different dance style that emphasizes their battle style, though some enjoy fighting more than others.

Personality: While lazy wouldn't quite be the word he'd use to describe himself, Blake is nowhere near as motivated as he might try to make you believe. His laziness eventually melts into his naturally easy-going nature, and kind ways as well. Despite this, he can be impulsive, acting on instinct rather than on logic. Still, despite that he tries to take things one step at a time, letting life move you at its own pace, rather than you make time move at YOUR pace.


While he wouldn't sacrifice himself to save someone he didn't know, he'd most certainly do so for one he saw as a friend. Generally, he considers most he meets to be a friend, so long as they let him have his "me" time, and treat him well. He's quite amiable around friends, and rather they do the hard work rather than himself, and some might argue he's a bum. Still, if you need someone to talk to, he's a pretty good person to go to, since he'll let you do all the talking you need.


Despite all that, he does actually have quite a competitive side, which is why he's even in Faereach in the first place. He rarely lets things go, and can go overboard when he wants to win. Though he can be a bit of a sore loser, getting angry even at the thought of losing, generally he's pretty chill after everything's said and done.

As a Samba, of course Blake is more magically inclined than physically inclined, as his original form is but a soul, and has no physical matter to it. Here's a list of some of his magics. (More will be added when necessary.)


Pyromancy - As one who's mastered the art of fire (and claims to have created it), this should come obvious enough. He's able to wield fire using magic to manipulate the plasma itself, and move it with his mind. He can create magical fire with his will, and extinguish fires of nigh any size. Probably his least trying ability, the only reason this should tire him is if he had to create a continuous stream of large amounts of fire, or he'd have to extinguish a city-sized fire alone.

Exomancy - Along with fire, he is one of the four Sambas who can control temperature- the others being Light, Dark, and Water. He's able to heat up his surroundings, and though he cannot directly cool them, by absorbing outside heat into his body, he can "cool" his surroundings, though he'll tire more easily with a mismatch between his body's limit and his magic keeping his body together, thanks to the immense amount of energy influx. He's never cold, thanks to his body's ability to constantly regulate its internal body heat to stave off cold.

Übexomancy - A stronger version of Exomancy and Endomancy, this can only be used by the Sambas of Fire and Water, as it involves the manipulation of Hydrogen, Oxygen, Nitrogen, and Helium in order to either cause explosions, or implosions with magic. It's hard to explain, but they combine the atoms in such a way that their sudden formation causes an extreme release (or extreme absorption) of energy around them, causing either an explosion, or implosion. It's the most tiring magic Blake has in his arsenal, but holy crap is fun to use!

Sambafier - The dancing magic signature to Blake. None can copy this ability, and even if one were to inhabit Blake's foster body, they would not have access to this magic, as it's a direct transfer of the Samba's body to this realm. The flames can only be extinguished by killing the Samba's foster body, and until they wish to recall themselves, they shall burn. These flames are susceptible to soul-affecting magics, and can be absorbed from the foster body, leaving it but a husk to rot away. These flames start off weak- weaker than even his weakest fireball- but grow to immense strength, reaching their strongest when they blaze pure white. At this strength, there is very, very little that can stop them. They can melt all earthly metals in fractions of seconds, can set just about anything ablaze, and leave burns on what can't be burnt. Coincidentally, this is what he uses to fly.

Transformation - More of a leftover treat from his host, he's able to transform himself into a Forest Rock Thrush if he so desires. In this form, he's unable to communicate, has limited communication with others of his species, and cannot use magic, or fight very well. But since he's non-magical in this form, he's no longer traceable in this form, since the transformation changes his soul to be like a Thrush's- thus his last name. Usually used to escape things he cannot defeat.

Bio: As with all Sambas, the Samba of Fire was born in the mythic ages, when the elements of the world were at war with one another, attempting dominance of one another. His birth stabilized the flames engulfing the world, and kept them from trying to destroy the earth below them, the air above them, and the water surrounding them. His creation was the final one needed for all the Sambas to be united as brothers and sisters. With their combined consciousnesses, they worked hard to retreat to their realm, to leave the world to grow as it needed to, in order to be separate from these beings. However, with the pull of matter being as strong as it was, each was forced to leave a piece of them behind in the form of a magic artifact- a mystic bead necklace, an unbreakable vase, a flute, a lamp, a dagger, and a shield.


The Samba of Fire's first host was an acolyte of his that worshiped him as a god, despite the fact that, ignoring the difficulty included with such a feat, he was indeed able to be killed. After discovering his magical artifact, and touching it, he was given the choice of either becoming his eternal disciple in the Saelverse, or he could offer up his body as tribute to the Samba. Choosing the latter in the hopes the Samba could help change his world through him, Blake gave up his body to the Samba of Fire.


However, no doubt to the acolyte's disappointment, he soon found why the God really wanted his body- to laze around, and have fun instead of changing the world. And thus is how The Samba of Fire within Blake's body came to be. For many hundreds of years, through many rebirths, Blake has learned much about the world, all through his hilarious, yet charming adventures. However, upset with his brother's antics, The Samba of Water issued him a challenge- that he was unable to truly become a serious Samba, and act as one was supposed to. Never one to back down from a challenge, he of course took his brother's bait. He told Blake that there was a spell of fire that was a lost piece of him hidden in the world, and it was his job to find it. However, if Simon found it before him, he'd never gain his brother's respect. And thus is how the Samba of Fire entered the world once more, now with a mission. A mission that has led him to, of course, Faereach.

    Ferra is 4'7 and weighs 80 lbs, a stark contrast to her behemoth guardian Torr. She stores both her helmet and her claws on hooks on Torr's back when not in use.

    Personality: Ferra has a very childish outlook on life, pretty much everything is an adventure and there is always fun to be had somewhere. Extremely protective of her friends, will stop at nothing to keep them safe.


    Biography:


    Not much is known about Ferra. She's aware at some point in her life she had parents, they got killed, and she was turned. But other than that until Torr showed up and saved her from a band of vampire hunters the rest is kind of a blurry grey area. Since Torr saved her she's developed a symbiote-esque relationship with him, often seen riding on his back or being carried by his massive palm. Recently they happened upon Faereach and decided to explore based on Ferras' wishes.

    Abilities:


    On top of being significantly stronger, faster, and more durable than a human she is roughly twice so as the average normal vampire. She also has slightly higher wound regeneration than the average vampire.


    She is extremely dextrous, a master of gymnastics and parkour. She could tic-tac up the side of a tall building if you let her.


    She is quite skilled in fire magic and expertly skilled in wielding her blades. Due to her 'evolving' to an affinity of fire, her fire magic is now much stronger.


    She is also able to use her wings as a shield to shield herself from blows.


    Due to the barely visible scaled texture her skin has taken on she is nigh immune to fire, and punches from an average human won't really do much against her.


    She is able to summon a gargoyle companion and drain life from her opponent at a range of 5 foot.


    Full control over the element of fire and fire conjuration, this includes lava.


    Shadow walking, the ability to blend in completely with the shadows and use them for travel.


    Flying, standard fare. She has wings, she can fly. She can fly pretty damn fast, but no breaking the sound or light barriers here.

Name: Simon Daleres (Thrush) Heron


Appearance:
Simon was born with topaz hair, hair that's straight and coarse, curling around his face and outlining it in blue, like he were underwater. As his hair tapers off, it darkens, eventually settling on a dark, navy-blue colour. His hair's bangs are quite long, though not nearly as long as Blake's. It stretches down above his eyebrows, which are thin and of the same dark blue as the tips of his hair. Below these eyebrows are sharp, sea-green hawk's eyes that glint with a certain edginess only acquired through years of hardship.


Below this is an angled, edged nose that looks it's been chiseled out of stone and gives his face a more serious look, along with his high cheekbones and constantly pouting lips. His ears are rounded, and are often covered by ear muffs. His neck stretches down to slim shoulders and slim arms, though they have the slightest touches of definition thanks to some of the physical training that being an acolyte of the Samba of Water entails. Most notably is his chest, which is wide and decently defined along with his stomach, as he can hold quite a bit of air and blow a note for a great time thanks to this. His legs are relatively well defined thanks to his climbing and love for hiking and swimming. His fingers, long and dexterous, are delicate and spread far apart, ending in points from years of jar-making. His hands, knuckles, and even fingertips are covered in callouses and scars thanks to a combination of caring for ancient jars, climbing, and swimming (knocking his knuckles into stone underwater, or having to crawl his way through underwater caves). Still, they aren't disgusting to look at, and simply look a bit rougher than the average hand, as most of the scars are light, and the callouses are easy enough to ignore.


It's rare that you'd see his neck, though, as around his neck he wears a plain, dark grey scarf that he's had his whole life. He has an off-white jacket he always seems to wear with blue highlights tracing it whose back stretches down to his thighs, though it opens up just above his waist. He wears a pair of dark grey jeans that are often mistaken for black in darkness which he slips into his brown and grey hiking boots, whose straps are lined with shiny, dark grey buckles.


He's never seen without his jar, which is a very dark grey, with waves of navy blue with brilliant, sky-blue highlights. While it appears to not be anything of importance, the jar cannot be broken except with very, very powerful magic, and is a constant spawn of water for Simon to use. He's exactly six feet tall.

To be Simon is to acknowledge what deeds you have done in the past and know that they are wrong, yet still find the strength to move on, keeping your eyes on the future. Sure, you make your way there impatiently, and sometimes leave others behind or in your wake, but that's just how it is. If they can't keep up that's their problem.


You have issues with not being in command, thanks to your time caring for your younger brother, and feel obligated to lead others to not feel like you're a pawn. On top of this, you are very, very precise and timely. It is rare for you to be late to anything, or to be less tahn perfect in the field in which you excel, and you pick up new fields with relative ease. You're relatively social and friendly, if only to help yourself forget the deeds you've committed in the past. Sleep does not come easy, as your demons come to you at night. You lapse in judgement and daydream at times- falling into nightmarish reminders of your deeds.


Overall, you're very trustworthy, yet very tired. You don't like others who refuse to take things seriously, or refuse to move on with life. You, above all things, hate it when people make jokes out of what you say. Despite that, you are like water- fluid, and able to change if life demands it. At times, you can be manipulative, but it is rare for you to be so out of spite- rather, you hope that your manipulation will make the manipulated a better person. Most of the time.

He's able to carry large amounts of water, or force it through the earth, though he cannot control the water within a person's body by any means, as it's been touched by their unworthy blood, tainting it. He cannot drown, and can convert water into oxygen, even as a human, to breath akin to a fish. This is how he propells himself through the water, and he can use this ability to fling himself far distances, though he can't fly.

Though he cannot directly heat his surroundings, by releasing his natural body heat, and instead absorbing all the cold in the air, he can "heat" his surroundings, though he'll tire more easily with a mismatch between his body's limit and his magic keeping his body together, thanks to the immense amount of energy leaving his body. He's never too hot, thanks to his body's ability to constantly regulate its internal body heat to keep him nice and chill.

It's hard to explain, but they combine the atoms in such a way that their sudden formation causes an extreme absorption (or extreme release) of energy around them, causing either an explosion, or implosion. It's the most tiring magic Simon has in his arsenal, but holy crap is fun to use!

Sambaqua - A dancing magic signature to Simon. None can copy this ability, and even if one were to inhabit Simon's foster body, they would not have access to this magic, as it's a direct transfer of the Samba's body to this realm. These water generated through this technique cannot be absorbed by any living thing, or by the earth, and the water will perpetually sit on whatever surface it lands upon, until it returns to whence it came- within the confines of Simon's unbreakable jar. However, this water is susceptible to soul-affecting magics, and can lead to extreme harm to the Samba of Water should this water be absorbed, as his soul would be as well. The water starts off rather normal, and at most will be used as protection whilst Simon dances, becoming more and more precise. However, as time passes, certain qualities are gained by the water. At its strongest, it can corrode any metal at an alarming rate, melt things that cannot be corroded, and can become gaseous and solid at will. Whatever they touch will usually freeze, or be poisoned, or burned.

Transformation - Though he often takes the form of a giant squid, whilst in his acolytes body, he's able to take the form of a Great Blue Heron. He likes to think of it as an added bonus for having to stay in the body of a human, instead of getting to roam the seas freely as a squid. In this form, he's unable to communicate, has limited communication with others of his species, and cannot use magic, or fight very well. But since he's non-magical in this form, he's no longer traceable in this form, since the transformation changes his soul to be like a Heron's- thus his last name. Usually used to escape things he cannot defeat.

Bio: As with all Sambas, the Samba of Water was born in the mythic ages, when the elements of the world were at war with one another, attempting dominance of one another. His birth stabilized the waters drowning the world, and kept them from trying to destroy the earth below them, the air above them, and the fire blazing on their surface. He was the second to last Samba to have been created, but considers himself all of the other Sambas' older brother. With their combined consciousnesses, they worked hard to retreat to their realm, to leave the world to grow as it needed to, in order to be separate from these beings. However, with the pull of matter being as strong as it was, each was forced to leave a piece of them behind in the form of a magic artifact- a mystic bead necklace, an unbreakable vase, a flute, a lamp, a dagger, and a shield.


Unlike his brother, the Samba of Water had no interest in man, and instead was focused on the sea. His first ever body was of a giant squid's which he saved from being eaten by a Sperm Whale. After saving it, he traveled with it in the icy depths of the Southern Sea, exploring its cold, watery world as a companion. Though he couldn't understand it, he could tell it was intelligent, and being as big a fan as he was of intelligence, this greatly intrigued him. After the squid passed on, he decided to take its body as his own, and use it to explore the underwater world even more, each reset giving him more time to explore and learn.


At some point in the resets, the Samba of Water (as the giant squid) managed to finally find a shrine built to him. Interested, he explored it to the best of his squid abilities, until he found something most peculiar. In the farthest back room was one of the few pieces of himself he left behind: an unbreakable jar. And, sitting before the jar and praying was a human. A very interesting human. It seemed like he was young, but despite that, very somber and serious. He appeared to have lived down here, if not all his life, then for some great time. Dedication like that was also something Simon took very seriously, and though he didn't have a particular like of humans and their... work, such dedication could not be ignored. So, after his next death, instead of choosing to be reborn as a squid, he returned to the Saelverse, and after waiting some time until the human in question touched the jar, he gave him the choice of becoming his vessel in which to inhabit the human world, or becoming his disciple in the Saelverse. After some long thought, Simon chose to become the Samba of Water's earthly vessel. This, of course, was the Samba of Water's hope the entire time. After all, he knew of a certain other Samba that'd done as he'd just done now, and knew he'd have to keep said Samba in check...


After some time of letting his brother Blake run about unchecked, Samba decided it was time to wrangle him in. After all, it was very irresponsible to let Blake run amok, using his body for only his own pleasures. So, after some internal debate, he finally decided it was time for his little brother to grow up. Knowing the location of an extremely powerful scroll- another piece of his brother that'd broken off on his way to the Saelverse- he decided to tell his brother of it. Though, in truth, the only reason he ever told Blake about this scroll was so that it was easier to keep track of him, and hopefully see him grow up if he faced hardship during his quest.


Pet: None, as he sees them as too bothersome. He already has to take care of a younger brother.

Night Wing: An easy going type of person that is over excited sometimes, never shy, and loves nature. The only thing you should be mindful of when around her is to not tick her off.


Damen: Has an intrapersonal type of intelligence, sociable sometimes but not really the most caring person of all and by that I mean he doesn't care about anyone or anything else. If Always likes to keep occupied because if he doesn't keep himself busy he starts to question things in his head and sometimes spends hours just sitting and writing or thinking to himself.


Abilities:


Night Wing: Can transform into a crow, heal people, see better at night, and can sense people's emotions.


Damen: Can control darkness to any extent, and his ability of having perception of the physical world within the vicinity he is currently in, a branched off part of this is being able to hear a persons thoughts if they are directed towards him allowing him to be great at problem solving and being able to tell if someone's lying.


Bio:


Night Wing: Her mother and father were both familiar's (her mother a snowy owl and her father a raven) and she grew up with her 2 sisters. Together they would always get into to trouble, practicing shifting and flying around. Her home life was mild and peaceful living out in a cabin in the woods, she grew to like animals and other birds, and learnt how to hone her ability. She still talks to her family but ever since she offered to be Damen's familiar she has seen her family less.


Damen: Lost his memory when he was 8 and was put into a foster family that didn't like him but they still were alright. He grew up with a step brother and step parents that he knew weren't his real family yet he still referred to them as so. There had been fire one night, the whole thing was a blur and happened so fast that within moments Damen was separated from his family, thinking they had been burnt in the fire. Again he was alone, wandering the streets of the city while sirens were blaring throughout the town. That was the day he met Night Wing in the forest just out of the city, thinking she was a normal crow until she shifted into a person. After a while of spending time with her family and staying at her place, she pledged to be his familiar and since then they've been together trying to finish schooling and hopefully finding some clue about where his family members are while ocassionally helping people out along the way.


Other: Both of them stay at the academy but hardly ever go to class during certain times of the year.

Appearance:
He stands tall and proud, with a head held up and a chest puffed out. Still, he isn't the tallest there is, and is roughly the median height for the average man. He has a strong upper body build with a defined chest, strong neck and shoulder muscles, and powerful biceps, with a respectable lower body as well. His hair is a blazing orange colour, with a brownish, rusty colour at the base, and his hair being tipped in white. His bright hazel eyes constantly shine with amusement, even though they're normally hidden under his unkempt hair's long bangs. He has curled ears and a small curled nose, giving his small face an almost impish look.


Over his upper body, he wears a brown, sleeveless vest with a couple pockets here and there to store gold. It's unadorned, and is made to make it easier for him to breakdance (which is how he fights). His hands are gloved in brown gloves similar to his vest, but they are adorned with small blue stones that appear to be the same as the necklace he has around his neck, which is made up of five large, blue stones. Besides that, he mostly walks around shirtless, ignoring whatever cold he may feel.


He wears baggy, light brown pants to help his legs be able to breath, though the bottoms of his pants are stuffed into hiking boots that, like most of his ensemble, are brown. However, they have highlights of orange, and are jet black where the toes are, so that his kicks hurt a lot more. His sole is this same jet-black colour. Down his forearms and shins, he wears shield-like metal gauntlets and shin-guards that help with kicking and punching (or blocking punches).

Sambas are magical spirits that inhabit different forms depending on their attributes, both as far as personality traits go, and ability to form and use magic. Being a Fire Samba, Blake most often takes the body of a Man, as it is one of the few creatures that have mastered his element- Fire. As such, he fears the element opposite himself (water), is severely affected by magic that targets the soul, and if its body is destroyed, it'll be sent back to the Saelverse, the birthplace of all Sambas. However, it will re-incarnate in a few hundred or so years. Their bodies are naturally weaker than a creature of this worlds, and can be destroyed much more easily, but can accomplish more impressive feats as a result. However, there is one way to revive them quicker: if you fuel their Earthbound Object with enough energy coherent with their element, or you sacrifice a soul, you can revive their bodies immediately. (The age and type of soul do not matter, so long as it is something of similar size.) There are currently 5 Sambas: Fire, Water, Wind, Nature, Light, and Dark, each of which have a different dance style that emphasizes their battle style, though some enjoy fighting more than others.

Personality: While lazy wouldn't quite be the word he'd use to describe himself, Blake is nowhere near as motivated as he might try to make you believe. His laziness eventually melts into his naturally easy-going nature, and kind ways as well. Despite this, he can be impulsive, acting on instinct rather than on logic. Still, despite that he tries to take things one step at a time, letting life move you at its own pace, rather than you make time move at YOUR pace.


While he wouldn't sacrifice himself to save someone he didn't know, he'd most certainly do so for one he saw as a friend. Generally, he considers most he meets to be a friend, so long as they let him have his "me" time, and treat him well. He's quite amiable around friends, and rather they do the hard work rather than himself, and some might argue he's a bum. Still, if you need someone to talk to, he's a pretty good person to go to, since he'll let you do all the talking you need.


Despite all that, he does actually have quite a competitive side, which is why he's even in Faereach in the first place. He rarely lets things go, and can go overboard when he wants to win. Though he can be a bit of a sore loser, getting angry even at the thought of losing, generally he's pretty chill after everything's said and done.

He's able to wield fire using magic to manipulate the plasma itself, and move it with his mind. He can create magical fire with his will, and extinguish fires of nigh any size. Probably his least trying ability, the only reason this should tire him is if he had to create a continuous stream of large amounts of fire, or he'd have to extinguish a city-sized fire alone.

At this strength, there is very, very little that can stop them. They can melt all earthly metals in fractions of seconds, can set just about anything ablaze, and leave burns on what can't be burnt. Coincidentally, this is what he uses to fly.

The Samba of Fire's first host was an acolyte of his that worshiped him as a god, despite the fact that, ignoring the difficulty included with such a feat, he was indeed able to be killed. After discovering his magical artifact, and touching it, he was given the choice of either becoming his eternal disciple in the Saelverse, or he could offer up his body as tribute to the Samba. Choosing the latter in the hopes the Samba could help change his world through him, Blake gave up his body to the Samba of Fire.


However, no doubt to the acolyte's disappointment, he soon found why the God really wanted his body- to laze around, and have fun instead of changing the world. And thus is how The Samba of Fire within Blake's body came to be. For many hundreds of years, through many rebirths, Blake has learned much about the world, all through his hilarious, yet charming adventures. However, upset with his brother's antics, The Samba of Water issued him a challenge- that he was unable to truly become a serious Samba, and act as one was supposed to. Never one to back down from a challenge, he of course took his brother's bait. He told Blake that there was a spell of fire that was a lost piece of him hidden in the world, and it was his job to find it. However, if Simon found it before him, he'd never gain his brother's respect. And thus is how the Samba of Fire entered the world once more, now with a mission. A mission that has led him to, of course, Faereach.

    Not much is known about Ferra. She's aware at some point in her life she had parents, they got killed, and she was turned. But other than that until Torr showed up and saved her from a band of vampire hunters the rest is kind of a blurry grey area. Since Torr saved her she's developed a symbiote-esque relationship with him, often seen riding on his back or being carried by his massive palm. Recently they happened upon Faereach and decided to explore based on Ferras' wishes.

Appearance:
Simon was born with topaz hair, hair that's straight and coarse, curling around his face and outlining it in blue, like he were underwater. As his hair tapers off, it darkens, eventually settling on a dark, navy-blue colour. His hair's bangs are quite long, though not nearly as long as Blake's. It stretches down above his eyebrows, which are thin and of the same dark blue as the tips of his hair. Below these eyebrows are sharp, sea-green hawk's eyes that glint with a certain edginess only acquired through years of hardship.


Below this is an angled, edged nose that looks it's been chiseled out of stone and gives his face a more serious look, along with his high cheekbones and constantly pouting lips. His ears are rounded, and are often covered by ear muffs. His neck stretches down to slim shoulders and slim arms, though they have the slightest touches of definition thanks to some of the physical training that being an acolyte of the Samba of Water entails. Most notably is his chest, which is wide and decently defined along with his stomach, as he can hold quite a bit of air and blow a note for a great time thanks to this. His legs are relatively well defined thanks to his climbing and love for hiking and swimming. His fingers, long and dexterous, are delicate and spread far apart, ending in points from years of jar-making. His hands, knuckles, and even fingertips are covered in callouses and scars thanks to a combination of caring for ancient jars, climbing, and swimming (knocking his knuckles into stone underwater, or having to crawl his way through underwater caves). Still, they aren't disgusting to look at, and simply look a bit rougher than the average hand, as most of the scars are light, and the callouses are easy enough to ignore.


It's rare that you'd see his neck, though, as around his neck he wears a plain, dark grey scarf that he's had his whole life. He has an off-white jacket he always seems to wear with blue highlights tracing it whose back stretches down to his thighs, though it opens up just above his waist. He wears a pair of dark grey jeans that are often mistaken for black in darkness which he slips into his brown and grey hiking boots, whose straps are lined with shiny, dark grey buckles.


He's never seen without his jar, which is a very dark grey, with waves of navy blue with brilliant, sky-blue highlights. While it appears to not be anything of importance, the jar cannot be broken except with very, very powerful magic, and is a constant spawn of water for Simon to use. He's exactly six feet tall.

Species: Samba





Sambas are magical spirits that inhabit different forms depending on their attributes, both as far as personality traits go, and ability to form and use magic. Simon most often takes the form of a giant squid whilst in the mortal realm, as it is the most intelligent creature to rule his element- Water. (Though, for this RP, he'll be a man.) As such, he fears the element opposite himself (fire), is severely affected by magic that targets the soul, and if its body is destroyed, it'll be sent back to the Saelverse, the birthplace of all Sambas. However, it will re-incarnate in a few hundred or so years. Their bodies are naturally weaker than a creature of this worlds, and can be destroyed much more easily, but can accomplish more impressive feats as a result. However, there is one way to revive them quicker: if you fuel their Earthbound Object with enough energy coherent with their element, or you sacrifice a soul, you can revive their bodies immediately. (The age and type of soul do not matter, so long as it is something of similar size.) There are currently 5 Sambas: Fire, Water, Wind, Nature, Light, and Dark, each of which have a different dance style that emphasizes their battle style, though some enjoy fighting more than others.

Personality:
To be Simon is to acknowledge what deeds you have done in the past and know that they are wrong, yet still find the strength to move on, keeping your eyes on the future. Sure, you make your way there impatiently, and sometimes leave others behind or in your wake, but that's just how it is. If they can't keep up that's their problem.


You have issues with not being in command, thanks to your time caring for your younger brother, and feel obligated to lead others to not feel like you're a pawn. On top of this, you are very, very precise and timely. It is rare for you to be late to anything, or to be less tahn perfect in the field in which you excel, and you pick up new fields with relative ease. You're relatively social and friendly, if only to help yourself forget the deeds you've committed in the past. Sleep does not come easy, as your demons come to you at night. You lapse in judgement and daydream at times- falling into nightmarish reminders of your deeds.


Overall, you're very trustworthy, yet very tired. You don't like others who refuse to take things seriously, or refuse to move on with life. You, above all things, hate it when people make jokes out of what you say. Despite that, you are like water- fluid, and able to change if life demands it. At times, you can be manipulative, but it is rare for you to be so out of spite- rather, you hope that your manipulation will make the manipulated a better person. Most of the time.

As a Samba, of course Simon is more magically inclined than physically inclined, as his original form is but a soul, and has no physical matter to it. Here's a list of some of his magics. (More will be added when necessary.)


Aquamancy - As one who has complete mastery over water (and claims to have created it), this should come obvious enough. He's able to control almost any volume of water with relative ease, and use it as either a weapon or as protection. He's able to carry large amounts of water, or force it through the earth, though he cannot control the water within a person's body by any means, as it's been touched by their unworthy blood, tainting it. He cannot drown, and can convert water into oxygen, even as a human, to breath akin to a fish. This is how he propells himself through the water, and he can use this ability to fling himself far distances, though he can't fly.

Endomancy - Along with water, he is one of the four Sambas who can control temperature- the others being Light, Dark, and Fire. He's able to cool his surroundings, by absorbing the heat around him into his jar, or by forcibly making it leave the surroundings. Though he cannot directly heat his surroundings, by releasing his natural body heat, and instead absorbing all the cold in the air, he can "heat" his surroundings, though he'll tire more easily with a mismatch between his body's limit and his magic keeping his body together, thanks to the immense amount of energy leaving his body. He's never too hot, thanks to his body's ability to constantly regulate its internal body heat to keep him nice and chill.

Übexomancy - A stronger version of Endomancy and Exomancy, this can only be used by the Sambas of Water and Fire, as it involves the manipulation of Hydrogen, Oxygen, Nitrogen, and Helium in order to either cause explosions, or implosions with magic. It's hard to explain, but they combine the atoms in such a way that their sudden formation causes an extreme absorption (or extreme release) of energy around them, causing either an explosion, or implosion. It's the most tiring magic Simon has in his arsenal, but holy crap is fun to use!

Sambaqua - A dancing magic signature to Simon. None can copy this ability, and even if one were to inhabit Simon's foster body, they would not have access to this magic, as it's a direct transfer of the Samba's body to this realm. These water generated through this technique cannot be absorbed by any living thing, or by the earth, and the water will perpetually sit on whatever surface it lands upon, until it returns to whence it came- within the confines of Simon's unbreakable jar. However, this water is susceptible to soul-affecting magics, and can lead to extreme harm to the Samba of Water should this water be absorbed, as his soul would be as well. The water starts off rather normal, and at most will be used as protection whilst Simon dances, becoming more and more precise. However, as time passes, certain qualities are gained by the water. At its strongest, it can corrode any metal at an alarming rate, melt things that cannot be corroded, and can become gaseous and solid at will. Whatever they touch will usually freeze, or be poisoned, or burned.

Transformation - Though he often takes the form of a giant squid, whilst in his acolytes body, he's able to take the form of a Great Blue Heron. He likes to think of it as an added bonus for having to stay in the body of a human, instead of getting to roam the seas freely as a squid. In this form, he's unable to communicate, has limited communication with others of his species, and cannot use magic, or fight very well. But since he's non-magical in this form, he's no longer traceable in this form, since the transformation changes his soul to be like a Heron's- thus his last name. Usually used to escape things he cannot defeat.






Unparalleled Swimming Ability


Light As A Cloud - Though he doesn't ACTUALLY be come light enough to sit on a cloud, he can make himself his own personal cloud to float on. It's not fast, like the Flying Nimbus- it's more like a blimp- but if he's not in a hurry, he'll get where he needs to.

Bio: As with all Sambas, the Samba of Water was born in the mythic ages, when the elements of the world were at war with one another, attempting dominance of one another. His birth stabilized the waters drowning the world, and kept them from trying to destroy the earth below them, the air above them, and the fire blazing on their surface. He was the second to last Samba to have been created, but considers himself all of the other Sambas' older brother. With their combined consciousnesses, they worked hard to retreat to their realm, to leave the world to grow as it needed to, in order to be separate from these beings. However, with the pull of matter being as strong as it was, each was forced to leave a piece of them behind in the form of a magic artifact- a mystic bead necklace, an unbreakable vase, a flute, a lamp, a dagger, and a shield.


Unlike his brother, the Samba of Water had no interest in man, and instead was focused on the sea. His first ever body was of a giant squid's which he saved from being eaten by a Sperm Whale. After saving it, he traveled with it in the icy depths of the Southern Sea, exploring its cold, watery world as a companion. Though he couldn't understand it, he could tell it was intelligent, and being as big a fan as he was of intelligence, this greatly intrigued him. After the squid passed on, he decided to take its body as his own, and use it to explore the underwater world even more, each reset giving him more time to explore and learn.


At some point in the resets, the Samba of Water (as the giant squid) managed to finally find a shrine built to him. Interested, he explored it to the best of his squid abilities, until he found something most peculiar. In the farthest back room was one of the few pieces of himself he left behind: an unbreakable jar. And, sitting before the jar and praying was a human. A very interesting human. It seemed like he was young, but despite that, very somber and serious. He appeared to have lived down here, if not all his life, then for some great time. Dedication like that was also something Simon took very seriously, and though he didn't have a particular like of humans and their... work, such dedication could not be ignored. So, after his next death, instead of choosing to be reborn as a squid, he returned to the Saelverse, and after waiting some time until the human in question touched the jar, he gave him the choice of becoming his vessel in which to inhabit the human world, or becoming his disciple in the Saelverse. After some long thought, Simon chose to become the Samba of Water's earthly vessel. This, of course, was the Samba of Water's hope the entire time. After all, he knew of a certain other Samba that'd done as he'd just done now, and knew he'd have to keep said Samba in check...


After some time of letting his brother Blake run about unchecked, Samba decided it was time to wrangle him in. After all, it was very irresponsible to let Blake run amok, using his body for only his own pleasures. So, after some internal debate, he finally decided it was time for his little brother to grow up. Knowing the location of an extremely powerful scroll- another piece of his brother that'd broken off on his way to the Saelverse- he decided to tell his brother of it. Though, in truth, the only reason he ever told Blake about this scroll was so that it was easier to keep track of him, and hopefully see him grow up if he faced hardship during his quest.


Pet: None, as he sees them as too bothersome. He already has to take care of a younger brother.

Everything he had done the last 2 years were erasing small Villages and destroy landscapes.

The Hayabusas weren't always devils. When they were younger they started off as low classed demons that served under their cruel devil rulers. They grew up together and hung out taking every chance they have. They needed this time together just to be happy, and free from the cruelty of their rulers.


Soon their rulers found out about their little arrangements to meet and decided to split them apart just for the hell of it. This angered both the kids and as they grew older, getting higher in strength and rank they planned to retaliate. When they made it to the rank of right hands, they used the set up tactic telling lies to their devil ruler about the other. The stories angered the devils causing them to fight to the death, but instead of having the devils kill each other. The hayabusas finished off their devils when they were close to dying. They absorbed their devils powers becoming stronger than them and the knew ice and flame devils.

Arlen has dark mahogany hair that's about chin length, but he always has it pulled up in a small, manageable ponytail. His skin his pale, and his eyes are a vivid green


His hair is parted by two horns that curve downwards slightly, which is the main sign that shows he isn't human. He's tall, reaching about 6'2", and he usually wears a grin on his face.

Personality: Arlen likes to think he's fun to be around, usually acting very casual and laid-back. He's quite irresponsible, and forgetful, so don't expect him to remember anything. A bit clumsy, obnoxious, sarcastic, though he is very friendly if you ever get to know him. Though, for his personality, he's a huge bookworm, and is very lazy.


Abilities: He knows how to summon creatures, mainly demons (mostly from a spellbook he keeps)


Arlen has the ability to heal, as well as transport objects to and fro, a reason for his laziness.


Also, glamour. Does that sometimes. Gotta hide his horns!

Bio: He lived quite a boring life, growing up and raised near humans(if this is allowex ;;^) ). That means, well.. Glamour. Lots of it. Tons of energy, exhaustion afterwards. After a while, after he grew an exceptional age, he began to travel and eventually found himself here, Faereach. And, seeing other's like him, stayed. He enjoys trying to find dragons, and would occasionally visit The Emerald Enclave, despite it's danger, to watch.

That's quite alright, I've had the same problem a couple times. When you have time though could you add a bit more to his bio? Other than that accepted.
