Advice/Help Face Claim Help (for anyone having trouble)

K Elizabeth

gonna be honest I forget ab this site a LOT sorry
K so I'm not sure if this belongs in this but it seems to be the best fit for this topic

I have about a million and one face claims saved up on pinterest boards, so if anyone is looking for face claims to use I'll put the links here? All the face claims on these boards have the names of the models, or at least something to identify them, such as an instagram username or something similar. They're all real life face claims because that's what I use in my roleplays, so if you don't use those this probably won't be much help....

If you're seriously in need of help finding a face claim, comment on here what you're looking for and I'll send you a PM with some ideas. DO NOT PM ME. I don't like getting PMs from people I haven't asked to PM me...it bothers me and it makes me uncomfortable so I prefer people just comment.

I can't promise I'll be able to respond to every comment depending on how many people respond to this post, but I'll try.

Anyway, here are my boards if you want to look through them.

This is my newest board. It's basically all women at the moment but I'll be adding some more men soon enough. This board is all black and white film stars, so mostly people from the 1920s-1950s, with some exceptions.

This is the board I use for 90% of my face claims. I have it broken up into categories of different hair colors and ethnicities with both the men and the women. For both of them there's a category for redheads, black haired models, models with middle eastern traits, blondes, brunettes, models with african american traits, models with mostly eastern asian traits, and then one for women with short hair or shaved heads, and for men with long hair. Then there are two categories with both men and women in them. The one is for those with unique traits like albinism, heterochromia, or vitiligo, (and currently until I have more, people with colored hair) and the other is for photos containing more than one model because they generally can't be put into a single category. It took me like actually 4 hours to break them all up because there's like almost 900 pins-

**This board if for people who look very specifically for medieval or fantasy type FCs. Most of the people here are from shows or movies where they play these characters and such. It isn't very large because I myself usually use a normal model for these characters, but there's some on here.

This board isn't...exactly what it seems. It's mostly full of instagram models, but there are some who are not. I use this for especially characters who have a kind of....'instagram famous' vibe to their looks? Idk how to describe it but...

This board is really short because I only used it for a short time when looking for face claims to help out someone I was doing an RP with. This board is all men with a lot of tattoos. I may add to it but currently it's pretty short.

And finally, my last board is all child models. I rarely make young characters, and when I do they're usually siblings of my main character who I don't use. Even still I like to have a look for them...idk. On this board a lot of the models aren't fully named and only have their first name, but you can usually find more pictures of them by looking up the modeling agency they're a part of with their name. This one is also fairly short because I don't make children as characters very often so it's rare that I look for an FC who is young.

Anyway I hope this can help anyone having trouble with face claims. If you have any questions about certain things just leave a comment and I'll try to get back to you ASAP...

Very nice idea :) I have hard time getting realistic photography on pinterest. I usually try pexels or pixabay as those are public domain images.

oops meant to edit the above post but yeah here's a better description for the boards.

Art
Subdivided into : Portraits, Photo Realistic, Semi Realistic, Anime, and Sketch Art. Anime and Sketch are kind of more putting the non-realistic styles together as much as possible based on similarities.

Fantasy
Subdivided into : Humanoid creatures, Mages & Demons, Elves & Fae, Medieval, Sci-Fi, and Scenery.

Heroes
These are hero and civilian identity images for superhero roleplays. There also some Retro Heroes and just straight Comic images.

Bestiary
For folks doing fantasy animal/pokemon ish roleplays. Subdivided into : Mon Monsters (pokemon inspiration), Fantasy Realism, Plants, Aliens, Classics, and Arts Animals.
Classics are like dragons and what not, Arts animals are the more cartoony images.

Oh, my gosh. I've even having trouble finding a faceclaim for my accidental time-traveler, Penny.

She's got short, dark hair that she can tuck behind her ears, glasses, and is pretty without being stunning. She's often serious, and although she is petite, she's cracked heads on occasion. She's older than her twenties-- somewhere in her thirties, so any faceclaim that looks TOO young wouldn't work.

Is that helpful?

Do you want art or photography based claims?
