Fantasy Exorcists vs. Ghosts

Taka Hayabusa​

He wasn't willing to admit it, but he probably stood no chance against whatever it was that did all this and he wasn't looking for a fight either. Still, do something besides simply running around playing doctor would put his skill to better use. He was quick, sure, but was this really all he could do? All he had on his mind was how all this damage and death can't go unpunished, and it boiled his blood.

Dashing in the opposite direction than Evelyn, Taka, piggybacking a student, found himself making it over to that wimpy kid from earlier. Hiroto, looking winded despite staying behind, tried to wave him down, but the blonde had no time to stop or even slow down. There were more who needed rescue.

"Speak for yourself!" He shouted at Hiroto. "There's a lot more where she came from," referring to the girl on his back. "You got two hands! Use them!" Taka flew by like a gale, blowing back the Japanese boy's hair as he continued running.

Taka took a great leap through a window far from the calamity and set the student down, just to do it all over again. Running back towards the fallen, weakened students to get them out of there. He couldn't afford to slow down, not yet. Instead, Taka sped up.

Aeu

Aeu curiously watches as a mysterious monster tears the school apart. Students collapse and a few even die, but still he only watches. That is, until Evelyn comes out of the school. Aeu takes a step forward before shaking his head and relaxing once again. Whatever happened at the school is none of his business. His eyes dart to a student that comes out shortly after Evelyn. When she sees him, she clearly is angry and yells something at him. Aeu raises an amused eyebrow. That kid's got guts to go against her orders. Aeu continues to watch, still not feeling inclined to help. A yawn escapes his lips and he turns to leave until a blue haired kid comes out of the school. Unlike Evelyn and the other student, this one looks weaker and scared. Aeu feels a smile coming on. He shoves his hands in his pockets and casually walks up to the blue-haired student as the blonde boy passes by. Aeu quickly gets rid of his smirk and replaces it with a concerned frown. "Hey there. Do you need some help? Evelyn's busy handling stuff here, but I can assist you." Aeu tries to sound as concerned as possible, but it's hard when he knows what he's really trying to get out of this kid. He has to fight back a smile constantly. Aeu's eyes glance to Evelyn. As he said, she's deeply involved in whatever's going on with the monster. It just might be his lucky day.

HIROTO SAKEMURA​

With a huff, Hiroto attempted to follow Taka's shouts and carry the student bridal style, to no avail. His flimsy arms gave out on him after a second of carrying the student. "Hey! I- my arms can't carry them alone!" Hiroto shouted back to Taka but he was already too far to hear him. A small sigh of dissapointment escaped his lips before he laid the student down onto the floor until a strange, black-haired male walked over to him. "Um, I'm quite alright, but I'm not sure it they are," he hesitantly answered back as he gestured to the student, "If you don't mind, can you help me carry them to somewhere safe?"

Aeu

Aeu doesn't even give the injured student a second look. Instead, his eyes narrow, the concern leaving his voice as he speaks. "Of course. I'll help you. However, I'll need something in return." Aeu takes a small step closer, his power and evil aura flooding from his body. However, his physical appearance hasn't changed. "You see, it's going to take quite a bit of energy for me to carry that child. I'll have to borrow some of yours. It won't hurt at all. In fact, you'll hardly feel a thing. Do we have a deal?" Aeu holds out his hand, waiting for Hiroto to take it. This was just too easy. Maybe he should've tried someone more challenging to make things interesting, but this boy was intriguing. Well, mostly his energy was.

Taka Hayabusa​

Taka once again sprinting through the field, shooting across it like a bolt of lightning, continued his rescue mission. One, two, three. More and more students taken to cover and Taka wondered how many more there would be, but that thought did not make him falter. He whiped away some sweat and placed down another student. He stayed true to his promise, he would not slow down, he would go faster. Faster than he ever pushed himself to go. But what of Sakemura?

"Where the hell is that dork?" He sounded agitated. He can't believe he was doing all the work. Taka ran out of the damaged but still standing building to find Hiroto, catching him standing in the exact spot he just saw him. "Are you kidding?!"

That's when Taka noticed the other boy, clad in black, speaking to Hiroto about something. He too was not helping, and that would have really grinded Hayabusa's gears had it not been for his dark presence.

'Presence.' That was the best way he could describe it, but it was more than that. There was something radiating off of Aeu, something unseen. It must have been the tenticle freak and it's immense power overwhelming Taka's senses, but he soon realized what this guy was giving off. It was something He had witnessed once before, and the moment he recognized it Taka made a mad dash. It was bad enough that he was surrounded by fallen students, but if Hiroto fell too, then what?

"HEY!" Taka called out to get their attention drawn away from his potential victim. He accelerated towards them and upon getting close he leapt into the air. "What the hell- do you think you're doing!?" The blonde fell towards the two and swung forward with his fist towards the newcomer's head.

HIROTO SAKEMURA

Suspision grew within Hiroto as he took a good look at Aeu. "Well...I could use the help..." he started off, still couldn't shake some of the uneasiness around him, "But I'm not sure about the energy thing. How does that work though?" Although Hiroto couldn't shake the uneasy feeling towards him, he still wanted to give him a chance. Gently putting his hands on the student's shoulder, Hiroto gently lifted them from the ground, folding his cardigan and placed it under the student's head. Hiroto cleared his throat to ask Aeu something before the blond student he'd met earlier came flying and swung his fist at Aeu.

"H-hey!-" Hiroto exclaimed in suprised, looking at the two males in front of him in panic, "I-I don't think we should be fighting here."

Aeu hides his smirk as the blue haired boy seems to be taking the bait. This is easier than he thought it was gonna be. He was prepared to lie straight through his teeth until some blondie interrupts. Aeu's eyes narrow as he easily dodges the kid's attack. He let's out an annoyed sigh. "Don't you kids know how to mind your own business? And did you really think you were gonna get a hit off me?" Aeu's voice drips with venom, the dark presence of his power starting to grow even more. Anyone within 10ft of him could feel the force of it. Usually, he wouldn't mind a challenge. But, it would be a waist to take on some uneducated kid. It wouldn't even be a real fight. There's no way this kid stood a chance.

Taka Hayabusa​

His punch carried him downwards and into the ground beneath him, breaking it apart and leaving a good dent with his fist. Taka then slowly stood with a glare directed at the malevolent Aeu, who's expression was something like aggravation. At the very least he was standing infront of his would be victim, Hiroto, who ran the risk of an unknown fate. Clearly he didn't have a good instinct like Taka did.

"About what I expected..." He thought to himself. "...he's fast, good reflexes too." He was silently analyzing Aeu, sizing him up and getting a feel for his power that began to rise. This was not entirely new to him, he was familiar with that sort of 'presence' he had but not on this scale. Taka put his guard up, about ready to rush in and fight, but rather than lunging in Taka paused. He then turned to his classmate and started shouting at him infront of his would be opponent.

"What's the deal ya dork?! You haven't lifted a finger to help me out here! I've been busting my ass and you start having a chat? Could you not see this guy is bad news?! You'd die as an exorcist thinking like that!" He grilled Sakemura harshly, seemingly unaware of the grave situation this could turn into. But in reality, they didn't have time for this with the much stronger threat on campus, and still they didn't know what Aeu was capable of or what he was willing to do. Human, evil spirit, demon maybe, whatever he was the two had to keep their guards up.
