For thousands of years, the people of the continent of Alustria ignored the rest of the world, squabbling among themselves and fighting off any other races from other realms and continents. Then, fifteen years ago, everything changed. The gigantic creature known as the Stardrake invaded from the East and ravaged Alustria with magic and minions. Men and beasts alike mutated into horrible creatures that attacked any living human. Plagues both mundane and magical brought empires to their knees. Beasts and races that had been thought to be myths came through the mountains and descended from the skies to rip men and women apart. The people of Alustria fought valiantly, but slowly they were pushed farther and farther back until only the coasts held a few living cities. As defeat drew nearer, many chose to flee. They packed up their ship with all the food, weapons, artifacts, and settlers they could, and sailed west. To their death or to fortune they did not know, but it was their only choice.
Months later, strange ships began to show up on the eastern shore of a new continent. The Alustrians had found a new realm, and they began to build and settle on the coast. However, they would not be unchallenged. A hundred races, broken up into a thousand cultures and religions, were already here, and they would not bend easily. Now, the two have fought for five years, but while the Alustrians have greater technology and organization, the locals have far greater populations and knowledge of magic, though the Alustrians are not without the arcane arts as well.
In this time of migration, change, and conflict, who will prevail? Will the natives hold fast and expel these invaders, or will the settlers rise to victory and impose their rule on this new land? The Alustrians know well that the Stardrake brews across the sea, preparing to cross the waters and attack once more. Whoever wins the conflict here will be the one to rise to the defense against the great beast across the ocean.

Hey, so this is a nation building RP about european-esque human colonists coming to an america-like continent to conquer the hundred races that live there already. People will be allowed to make their own races, though they must be fairly human-like (stuff like elves). I'm unsure if players will be able to play both Alustrian and native nations, or if it will be limited to the invaders. Tech level is 1500s-1600s, with guns, cannons, and ships all being major.
