Exchange Student RP

I have been trying to think of new role play ideas to create and what came to mind was an exchange student role play. I have never seen it done before and I thought it would be really cool.

So, my general idea for the role play was to make an average American family take in a Russian student (me role playing as the student). Everyone has their own idea about her and the RP just goes on following this family through their ups and downs.

Tell me what you think, any questions and weather or not you think this is something you would join. I really need some insight on this and I would love it if you were to comment.

Sounds interesting... I was actually thinking of doing the same. Except a girl from the other side of the US coming to Cali to live with her long lost old friend Carter. Carter actually being her father's old friend, but he had baby sitted her more than her father was around. And Carter has seven sons, all of which have to get used to her living there. She doesnt like the setting cause she's mostly antisocial-- Err... Sorry, i'm rambling. But my point is, i'm interested in joining.^^ I'm trying slice of life RPs since i never did it before.

Think you so much for the insight and it really helps. If I get a few more resonses like that I will post the thread. =3

Maybe the family should find out that the exchange student is not at all from Russia, like they're a run-away spy from America, to add some action into the roleplaying.

This seems very good, very original. I love it! And the other characters would be the family?

Sounds good. I might suggest having some sort of problems going on in the family though. To add conflict to the plotline.
