Exalted 2.5 - Tale of the Seven Sins: The Second Cycle
Non-first age Lunar castes, but if you can SOMEHOW give me a really good backstor of how you managed to get an uncorrupted shard then I might bend the rules a bit.
Nah it's cool, that actually makes things a lot simpler for me.

Oh before I forget, are non-solar's using native cost structures or being normalized to solar costs?

Have you seen the Plague of Hats rewrite of the Dreaming Pearl Courtesan Form?

<nods> I may not, but I wanted to make sure it was good before making too many plans.

@Seeker of the End

Are we cleared to start stating and crunching the charas? I think I might go with a celtic-inspired elk-riding archer, either Zenith or Eclipse, haven't decided anything yet.

One more question, as a Solar can we use the initial 40 charm slots to purchase Sidereal MA charms or in the case of Eclipses, Spirit charms? Also, you mentioned that Spirit/other Exalted charms cost twice as much exp, what about BP cost?

I have my sheet 90% done. I finally have a Sidereal with a SMA at start up.

You are clear on stat-ing and crunching the characters. Yes on the charm slot, but you need to spend 5bp for spirit/other exalt charms.

OMG Charms. I simultaneously have so many charms I can't even remember what I can do anymore, and never enough. I'm at 80 and trying to pare it down to 70.

No Moon Lunar hellbent on avenging the Usurpation by bringing down the Bronze Faction and the Immaculate Order. Advances the interests of the Elemental Courts wherever possible and stymies the Celestial Bureaucracy's ability to get anything done in Creation. Works to forge stronger ties between communities and their local Elemental or Terrestrial Courts. Respected by some and derided by others for spending almost all of their time in the Threshold or the Realm making a mess of things from the inside, and primarily derided for actively aiding and employing the Guild. Has avoided dying to the Wyld Hunt through a combination of perfect almost tell-less shapeshifting, brilliance, and ruthlessness. Spent some time as an Immaculate Monk and probably participated in a Wyld Hunt or two from the other side, as a member of several Elemental and Terrestrial Courts on the Blessed Isle, and as a Demon 'summoned' in the Heptagram.

Do we have any Solars who want to bond another PC?

I'm going to run a Chosen of the Maiden of Serenity.

So we definitely won't get along at first, but I won't take the first swing if you're not Bronze Faction ( :P ) . If you are we should probably work something out. I might have to change my concept.

Um as a Changing Moon Lunar, I guess I'll ditch that angle then.... and just focus on connections with groups outside spirit courts. I've already thrown Theft of Memory, Peacock Shadow of Eyes, Coin of Distant Vision, Threefold binding of the Heart, and Sapphire Countermagic into my build as I find their uses socially to be a staple to the kit I have in mind.

Oh, @Rykon I apologize. I completely missed the post where you clearly established you were doing a social + sorcery Lunar, probably because the rules were immediately under it. I definitely don't mind changing to avoid preventing you from playing the character you had in mind. There are plenty of other options for me. Alternatively we can have a history of working together towards some goal if our characters have similar interests and outlooks and won't overlap too much.

My social stuff is fairly light and all Manipulation/Appearance based, with a lot of Knacks. My sorcery is fairly basic, amusingly, and I have plenty of Wits/Perception/Intelligence/Dexterity charms.

I had not locked in a concept of either Bronze or Gold; I was actually thinking of going Independent for a while.

I plan investing heavily into all three social attributes, the only spell I dropped from my build was Summon Elemental as I just don't find Summoning Demons to be my kinda thing as a general rule.

I'm going for more of the type to be playing others like a fiddle, mucking with their very memories and beliefs, even hypnotizing them into inaction. Other abilities include breeding beast men as a recreational pass time, learning White Reaper to its cap, and some of those handy dodge charms. For backgrounds, I'm probably going to invest heavily in social connections both inside and outside the silver pact.

On a side note, I have a couple questions. Random, are you taking Form Fixing Method? For the other players, who is currently planning on playing a Solaroid?

I hadn't planned to take Form Fixing Method - is it a custom charm? I see a reference to it in a Lunar rewrite called Silver Masks. Tattooing young Lunars wasn't really something I'd envisaged my character doing.

My character voraciously devours secrets - especially relating to the Sidereals - and does everything they can to get access to them. Their deception is less about messing with minds and more about playing any role that gets them closer to the information they want, or might help them convince the right person to take a course of action which will limit the ability of the Celestial Bureaucracy and Immaculate Order to act in Creation. They're invisible to Fate, and can trace the strands of the Loom back to the Sidereals who weave them. They're generally a bloody nuisance to the Bureau of Destiny in the Threshold. I took the Wyld Shape your Elsewhere pocket dimension cascade, which looks like a lot of fun. I'll have to come up with something really interesting to put in there.

We're both Dodge/Martial Arts/Social/Sorcery, though, so I'm very concerned I'm going to step on your toes. I'll ruminate on alternate concepts. We already have a Devil-Tiger, Solar, Sidereal, and Lunar. I guess that leaves an Abyssal to complete the Celestial circle. Not sure how well an Abyssal would fit this campaign, though. Hard to get along with everyone.

Well I'm doing only a handful of spells, and not much else in the Lunar mental department, which has tons and tons and tons of cool stuff. Also, should we worry about designating a crafter?

FYI here's what I'm looking at for charms spread. I decided to make a healthy investment in warlord potential.<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2015_02/Unnamed_pdf.26b16ca522283d129344dd64aa186c70" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="43791" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2015_02/Unnamed_pdf.26b16ca522283d129344dd64aa186c70" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

I have a decent selection of Spells, as one of my Resplendent Destinies will be a teacher at the Heptagram.

BTW, I hate the Sidereal's Ox-Body Technique. They have the least return for the same cost of all the Exalts.

If you want something to help you not have to spam perfects, why not take Throne Shadow Style? The form charm lets you use others to take hits for you.

Ok guys, I'm having problems deciding on a concept, what is everyone else playing? Just wanna hear a brief concept and description of the character, main personality traits, age, gender, just to get an idea of the group other than the type of Exalt. I've heard of WarDragon's DevilTiger concept, but not sure about the others?

In simplest terms, my character's like a blend of Tamuz and First Age Ma-Ha-Succhi. Outside of the party's goal, he wants to subvert the realm into the Thousand Streams River experiment.
