Warning Outer vault door has bin breached hostile forces detected. Beginning revitalization procedures in 3...2....1.


A large cylinder shaped tube lit with bright blue light, as monitors, panels and other advanced machinery sprung into life. The metallic tube cracks open fog rolls out from within the cooled chamber onto the mostly lit room. Then the tube within flashes a bright orange, as energy is pulsed into the female within. This energy instantly brings the body out of cryo stasis returning to normal function with feelings of intense heat due to the energy pulse. Steam rolls off of the females form, as she is let loose from the cryo pod thin tubes detached from her body returning to within the pod. Next to one of the consoles is a large case, with a clear panel showing the females old weapon. A small panel resides to the side of the case, with what appears to be a device of some sort.

Sylvia woke up with a start. She mentally knew that waking up would be the hardest part of every day, so it was best that she got through with it quickly rather than twist and turn it be... Wait a second, this is not a bed. What in the world? She wondered as ste escaped the clutches of the cryotube she knew what it was, and what it should have been used for, what she didn't understand was why it was used on her. The weapon by her side was exactly as she remembered it, though as of this moment, she couldn't care less about what the sniper rifle was there for, the strange device beside it garnered most of her attention. She deftly examined it, wondering what in the world it should have been used for.

Level 2 breached emergency sealing of all doors initiating.


The door to the cryo chamber was sealed with 4 locks holding the door in place. The device next to the door sprung to life, as it glowed a bright blue. It became a liquid like substance forming into the shape of a hand mold. It re-took solid form leaving a glowing blue hand imprint onto itself. It began to pulse, as if calling the female to it.

A large tube attached to the back of a small room pulsed with orange light. A human male contained within floated among a orange like substance similar to water. Tubes connected to various parts of the body along with a breather unit attached to the face. The room began to light up green lights, Consoles, terminals, etc. came to life. The fluid began to drain from the tube, as the subject was injected with a small amount of drugs to wake him up. Once drained hydraulic sounds could be heard, as the glass tubing twisted then retracted. The tubes connecting to the male detached as well, and the breather unit fell off onto the floor. To the right of the tube was a glass panel sealing his old weapon withing. To the right of that was a strange growth like structure. A sphere with black tendrils sprouting from the orb. In the center of the orb was a whole red light pulsing from within, the whole appeared big enough to fit your hand through.

"Hnn... Wha?" Ayden had awoken, more or less, and looked around him. He didn't exactly like what he saw. His weapon was off to one side and he was surrounded by technology. He attempted to guess where he might be but could not come up with any solution that seemed plausible. Ayden began slowly moving toward the case which held his firearm and inspected it for any access points or weaknesses but decided he was too tired.


Turning away from the weapon, he noticed a glowing object near him. He observed it and noticed black tendrils and a small hole. He hesitantly placed his right hand at the entrance, thinking: This is a stupid thing to do, then into the object completely.

"Well, this is weird." Sylvia mumbled lightly as she approached the orb with a curious eye. It was cool, really threatening, and mysterious. There was no reason to approach the substance, but seeing as some strange PA was over her, and that no one was around when she escaped the cryo tube, there had to be a reason it was there. She, one to follow orders, should have been able to get the point of the exercise all things considered, so it would be best of she just touched the thing before anything else happened.


Stupid? Yes, but really, at this point, what else could happen?

For a moment nothing happened all he could feel, was a warm sensation. Then it happened several small stings could be felt on his hand, as the hole closed around his wrist. He would feel something moving within his skin like several slithering snakes. Black veins would appear to spread under his arm and quickly up to his shoulder. They would quickly pulse red the veins spreading all throughout the body the sensation of fire could be felt. His eyes would turn black before his mind would blank out. After a few minutes he would wake up dazed skin still warm. The small growth now would look dead no light emitting from it. The weapon case would be open, and on his wrist would be a small black orb reflecting a little light. Small black veins could be seen spread out from it. Then from the silence he would here a male voice " You awaken good you need to get up, there are multiple enemies on the way you need to arm yourself. " he said hurriedly.

The device felt cool to the touch, and nothing would appear to happen at first. After a few moments with great speed the device would liquefy again spreading onto her hand. it would form a layer around her own skin like a second skin. Quickly it would spread the feeling of cool water came along, as it spread up her arm to the rest of her body. Then it flowed into her nose, mouth, ears, etc. Her eyes would glow a bright blue, as it felt like ice was flowing in her veins. She would then black out till a few moments had passed. She would wake on the floor the weapons case opened, and a female voice would speak in her head from the silence. She would speak in a rushed tone" Great you are awake we need to get going a large number of enemies are coming you need to arm yourself quickly. She would say.

After a few moments of nothing happening, Ayden was tempted to remove his hand from the strange object but these thoughts were cut off by the hole closing around his wrist. He pulled back, growling in pain, realising he was stuck before noticing and quickly growing sharp pain encompassing his hand. He closed it tight to reduce the pain and felt another strange sensation. This time moving up his arm.


He looked to his arm and saw black veins moving toward his head at an alarming rate. Of course. I just had to put my hand in the thing that was obviously set out as a trap. If I die, I'm gonna be pissed. With this, the veins pulsed red and his vision faded. The next thing he found was that the ceiling was a very bland gray and his head hurt. He heard a voice, whether it was from within or out he could not tell, and it said


"You awaken. Good. You need to get up, there are multiple enemies on the way. You need to arm yourself. "





Ayden noticed the worried tone in the voice and stood up. Looking back at the weapon case from earlier, now open, Ayden grabbed his weapon and pulled back the action and let it push the first of 200 bullets into the chamber. After this he checked his suit for any loose parts and spare ammo. There were none of either. Finally, he pressed two buttons on his arm. One to activate his helmet and one to activate his camoflage. He moved toward the front of the room with his weapon raised and ready.

Thanks for the warning. Sylvia... thought? sardonically, thinking that if whatever voice she heard spoke through her mind, then it would be best to see if it could really communicate telepathically. It wouldn't matter that much if the voice told the truth, and after waking up from whatever that... thing did to her alive, she would assume that she had no reason to mistrust such a warning. if they wanted her dead, whoever they were of course, she wouldn't be standing, looking around the room for a weapon.


All she had was her rifle, and while it wasn't exactly much of a weapon, what with it's specialized structure and all. Snipers worked in teams for a reason, and if not, that simply meant that it was a one shot one kill thing. She wasn't as armed as she wished to be, but if ever that wouldn't be enough, she hoped whoever was after her would be stupid enough to close in for CQC. No use, thinking about it. She took a breath to steady herself before removing the safety.
