Also it may be important to note that when the V'zikt Hives aren't busy trying to kill each other with World War 3,792, they're trying to wipe out someone else. Lotta species don't like 'em and you can't fault them cause they did sorta try to kill everyone. So if anyone wants their dude to have some of that, "Your folks tried to kill my folks." beef, I'm happy to RP it.
Plus their government(s) are pretty much Space-North-Korea. That's why they're usually not allowed to leave.

I can see that working out. The Veenet, despite a clan-based, honor bound culture that puts great pride into their combat prowess, are actually pretty peaceful. Mind you, they still love a good fight, but they never go to war over petty reasons. If anything, they are more into one on one duels to settle disputes. Still, I can see them both disliking the V'zikt because of their needless aggression, but also respecting them for their combat prowess. Zeep Biki will still think that they are terrible pilots though.

Overall, the other races would likely see them as those loud, roughhousing pterodactyles that can drink with the best of them and make surprisingly good friends. As long as you don't insult their plumage or heritage of course, then you get an earful.

Needless aggression may as well be the V'zikt motto.
Them bug lookin' boys just love killin', sooo-ee!
But yeah, their pilots are not the best. Mostly because V'zikt are trained to be aggressive pilots, not flashy ones. If they need to crash into you to take you down, they'll do it. They are one of the few militaries that will kamikaze ships into the enemy if the need arises. Even big ships. Different Hives have varying parameters for, "Bro, I think this calls for ramming our ship into theirs." but they all do it to some extent.
